ラフィン、ポリブテン等を、また充填剤としてシリカ粉
、酸化マグネシウム、炭酸カルシウム、タルク等の無機
化合物あるいはファクチスなどの硫黄化合物を添加して
なるスチレンブタジェン共重合体系プラスチック字消に

の字消カスは紙面との摩擦あるいは字消カス同志の摩擦
により強く帯電しており、紙面に外から軽い振動を与え
た位では除去できず、字消カスを指あるいは刷毛等を用
いて拭い去らなければならない、このような場合に字消
カスが消去を必要としない個所まで飛散して、これを消
去してしまうことが往々にしである。特に細かい場所を
消去する場合には、この現象が大きな問題となって来る
。更に細かい部分を消去する場合には塩化ビニル系字消
では硬度がなく、その上脆弱構造であるため、ペンシル
状のような細径に加工した場合すぐに折れてしまい実用

大幅な向上を図ることができる。すなわち、消字した紙
面に軽く息を吹きかけるか、或いは紙面を垂直に立てる
だけで、字消カスは完全に除去されるし、また字消への

く息を吹きかけるだけで除去できた。硬度の大きい字消
は、細部の消字あるいは修正に便利で、このような特性
は従来の塩化ビニル系字消では得ることはできなかった
