ＣＤ／ＬＶ兼用のデイスク駆動モータと、モータ
軸に固定され、デイスクを載せてモータと一体に
回転するターンテーブルと、モータ軸に固定され
、ＣＤを調芯してモータと一体に回転するＣＤハ
ブと、モータと一体に回転するが、ＣＤを再生す
るときはＣＤによつてターンテーブル面下に下降
され、ＬＶを再生するときはターンテーブル面よ
り上方にあつてＬＶを調芯するようにモータ軸の
スラスト方向に動作可能にモータ軸に取付けられ
たＬＶハブと、デイスクを確実にターンテーブル
上に押しつけるクランパからなるＣＤ／ＬＶ兼用
デイスクプレーヤにおいて、ＣＤとＬＶをその大
きさによつて識別するデイスクのサイズ検出器と
、ＬＶハブのスラスト方向の位置を検出するＬＶ
ハブ位置検出器と、クランパーの位置を検出する
クランパー位置検出器を設け、これらの検出器の
出力を読みとることにより、ＣＤ又はＬＶが正し
くターンテーブル上に載つていないことを検出す
ることを特徴としたＣＤ／ＬＶ兼用デイスクプレ
