Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve detachability in the captioned tighten band by connecting an inside band part comprising a circular reinforcing cord coated with rubber, to an outside band part made of circular rubber having a larger diameter than that of the inside band part, concentrically and radially spaced, thereby serving the formed space as the hook engaging part of a rope for mounting an antiskid tire. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a reinforcing cord 13 is coated with a rubber layer 14 having circular section to form an inside band part 12. An outside band part 16 having a larger diameter than that of the inside band part 12 is formed with a rubber having such an outside diameter as that of the rubber layer 14. The inside and outside band parts 12, 16 are connected by a connecting rubber part 17, being interposed concentrically and radially spaced so as to form a space 18 among the parts 12, 16 and 17. The thickness and width of the connecting rubber part 17 conforms approximately to the sectional outer diameters of the inside and outside band parts 12, 16. The space 18 is served as a hook engaging part 18 of a rope for mounting the antiskid tire. With this arrangement, it is possible to facilitate attachment/detachment of the tighten band.
