Description

This invention relates to a storage device capable of accommodating various articles.

Conventionally, various storage devices are known that are provided with a storage space capable of accommodating articles, and an opening that allows communication between the storage space and the external space (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Conventional storage containers had edges that were close together at the front and back of the opening. Therefore, with conventional containers, it was difficult for users to visually grasp the location of the opening, and it was also difficult to insert items through the opening.

This invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and aims to provide a storage device that is configured to allow easy insertion and removal of articles from the storage space of a pocket through an opening.

The invention described in claim 4 is the storage device according to claim 1, wherein the base is formed from a sheet material made of synthetic resin, and the pocket body is formed from a sheet material made of synthetic resin that is softer than the base.

The invention described in claim 5 is a storage device according to claim 1, wherein the base is provided with a plurality of through holes spaced apart in the vertical direction, and a plurality of pocket bodies are provided corresponding to the plurality of through holes.

The invention described in claim 6 is a storage device according to claim 5, configured such that by folding the base at a predetermined position, it can adopt a folded position in which multiple pocket bodies overlap.

The invention described in claim 7 is the storage device according to claim 1, wherein the base is suspended and supported via a suspension member.

As described above, the present invention provides a storage device that allows for easy insertion and removal of items from the storage space of the pocket through an opening.

One embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to Figures 1 to 13.

This embodiment applies the present invention to a wall-mounted storage device (hereinafter simply referred to as "storage device") used by hanging it on structures such as buildings and furniture.

The storage device comprises a base 1 with a through-hole H extending in the front-to-back direction, a pocket body 2 attached to the base 1 by welding in relation to the through-hole H and provided with a storage space sp capable of storing an item B, and a suspension member 3 attached to the upper end of the base 1 capable of suspending and supporting the base 1.

The storage device has an opening K formed between the base 1 and the guide edge 23 of the pocket body 2, allowing for the insertion and removal of items B from the storage space sp.

The storage device can assume both a usable position (U) and a folded position (F).

The storage device of this embodiment will be described in detail below.

<Base 1>
Base 1 is formed from a single sheet of synthetic resin material that extends vertically. The upper part of Base 1 is configured so that the base sheet material overlaps front to back. In its use state, Base 1 has a vertically elongated rectangular shape that extends vertically.

The base 1 comprises a plurality of through holes H spaced apart in the vertical direction, a welding guide portion 13 provided below each through hole H to guide the welding position of the end of the guide edge portion 23 constituting the pocket body 2, mountain fold lines 14 extending in the left-right direction, located above and below the through holes H, which are folded in a mountain fold position (F) when the base is folded compactly before use or when not in use, and valley fold lines 15 extending in the left-right direction, located between vertically adjacent mountain fold lines 14, which are folded in a valley fold position (F). A suspension member 3 is attached to the upper end portion 1a of the base 1 via a core material sn.

The through-holes H allow articles B to pass through, enabling them to be inserted into and removed from the pocket body 2. Multiple through-holes H are provided, specifically five, spaced apart in the vertical direction. In this embodiment, five pocket bodies 2, each having a storage space sp, are provided corresponding to the five through-holes H.

The through-hole H comprises a main slit portion h1 that extends linearly in the left-right direction and has a slit-like appearance, and left and right side slit portions h2 that are connected to both ends of the main slit portion h1 and extend in the vertical direction.

The through-hole H has a roughly H-shape when viewed from the front, formed by the main slit portion h1 and the left and right side slit portions h2.

Here, the base 1 has an upper cantilevered portion 11 that is surrounded in an upward-facing, roughly U-shape by the main slit portion h1 that constitutes the through-hole H and the upper parts of the left and right side slit portions h2, and a lower cantilevered portion 12 that is surrounded in a downward-facing, roughly U-shape by the main slit portion h1 that constitutes the through-hole H and the lower parts of the left and right side slit portions h2.

The upper and lower cantilevered portions 11 and 12 are designed to be flexible and elastically deformable in the front-rear direction around their base ends as the pivot point when inserting or removing an item B into or removing it from the storage space sp through the opening K. The lower cantilevered portion 12 is positioned between the front sheet portion 25, which constitutes the pocket body 21, and the guide edge body 27, which constitutes the guide edge portion 23.

The welding guide portion 13 is for guiding the welding location at one end of the pocket body 2 during manufacturing. Specifically, the welding guide portion 13 can guide the welding location of the lower mounting portion t2 that constitutes the guide edge 23 of the pocket body 2.

In this embodiment, the welding guide portion 13 is visibly indicated by a downward-facing U-shaped line. The welding guide portion 13 is indicated by providing fine indentations on the outer surface of the synthetic resin sheet material constituting the base 1. The welding guide portion 13 has a shape that matches the outer edge shape of the lower mounting portion t2, which constitutes the guide edge portion 23 of the pocket body 2.

The mountain fold lines 14 extend linearly in the left-right direction, maintaining a constant distance above and below the through-hole H. The through-hole H is positioned between adjacent mountain fold lines 14, both vertically.

The valley fold lines 15 are positioned on the left and right outer sides of the left and right side slits h2 that constitute the through-hole H. The valley fold lines 15 are positioned approximately equidistant from the vertically adjacent mountain fold lines 14. In other words, the valley fold lines 15 are positioned in the center of the vertically adjacent mountain fold lines 14.

The valley fold line portion 15 extends in a straight line in the left-right direction to the outside near the upper end of the left and right side slit portions h2. The valley fold line portion 15 also plays a role in assisting the folding of the base 1 so that the opening K can easily open in the front-to-back direction when inserting or removing an item B through the opening K.

In this embodiment, an auxiliary fold line 16 is provided below the valley fold line 15 to assist in the folding of the base 1 so that the opening K can be easily opened in the front-to-back direction when inserting or removing an item B through the opening K. The auxiliary fold line 16 is arranged parallel to the valley fold line 15. The auxiliary fold line 16 extends in a straight line in the left-to-right direction to the outside near the lower end of the left and right side slits h2. The auxiliary fold line 16 is folded in a mountain fold when inserting or removing an item B through the opening K.

The storage device is configured such that by folding the base 1 at predetermined positions, i.e., along the mountain fold lines 14 and valley fold lines 15, it can assume a folded position (F) in which the five pocket bodies 2 overlap. When the storage device is in the folded position (F), the bent portions 22 of the pocket bodies 2 are stretched to be flush with the surface, resulting in a planar shape that is less bulky in the thickness direction.

<Pocket Body 2>
Pocket body 2 is formed from a single sheet of synthetic resin that is softer than base body 1. The sheet material constituting pocket body 2 is set to a different color from the sheet material constituting base body 1.

The pocket body 2 comprises a pocket main body 21 having a storage space sp, and a guide edge portion 23 connected to the pocket main body 21 via a bent portion 22 and arranged along the through hole H.

The pocket body 21, the bent portion 22, and the guide edge 23 that constitute the pocket body 2 are made from a single sheet of material. Therefore, the pocket body 2 consists of the pocket body 21, the bent portion 22, and the guide edge 23 connected in a continuous line. In other words, the pocket body 21, the bent portion 22, and the guide edge 23 are completely free of any steps or gaps that might occur if two sheets of material were joined together by welding or other means.

The pocket body 21 comprises a rear sheet portion 24 that is horizontally elongated rectangular, and a front sheet portion 25 that is horizontally elongated rectangular and positioned in front of the rear sheet portion 24. A storage space sp is formed between these rear sheet portion 24 and front sheet portion 25.

The upper end of the rear seat portion 24 is attached by welding to the back surface of the base 1 above the through hole H. That is, the upper end of the rear seat portion 24 has an upper attachment portion t1 that is welded above the through hole H. The lower end of the rear seat portion 24 is integrally connected to the lower end of the front seat portion 25 via a lower end bend portion 26. The left and right ends of the front seat portion 25 are connected to the left and right ends of the rear seat portion 24. In other words, the pocket body 21 is a bag-like shape with an open top.

The upper part of the front sheet portion 25 is configured to be positioned on the front side of the base 1 through the through hole H. An auxiliary fold line portion 28 is provided at or near the point where the front sheet portion 25 passes through the through hole H, assisting the forward bending so that the upper part of the front sheet portion 25 can be positioned on the front side of the base 1.

The portion of the front sheet section 25, excluding the upper part, is located on the rear side of the base 1. In other words, the main part of the pouch-shaped pocket body 21 is located on the rear side of the base 1. The upper end of the front sheet section 25 is integrally connected to the guide edge section 23 via the bent portion 22.

The bent portion 22 is positioned to face the through-hole H of the base 1. In a side view, the bent portion 22 is provided to convex upwards. The bent portion 22 is located between the upper end of the front sheet portion 25 and the upper end of the guide edge body 27. In other words, the bent portion 22 constitutes the boundary between the pocket body 21 and the guide edge 23.

The bent portion 22 is positioned forward and spaced apart from the base 1. In other words, the shape of the pocket body 2 and its mounting position to the base 1 are set so that, in the usage position (U), the bent portion 22, which constitutes the front opening edge of the opening K, is positioned forward and spaced apart from the base 1. Because the bent portion 22 is positioned forward and spaced apart from the base 1, it is easy to insert and remove items B through the opening K. Furthermore, the bent portion 22 has pre-defined fold lines to facilitate bending.

The guide edge 23 is positioned on the front side of the base 1 and has a band-like shape extending horizontally in a front view. The guide edge 23 extends horizontally along the through hole H. Based on its band-like appearance in a front view, the guide edge 23 can function as a marker to guide the position of the opening K.

The guide edge portion 23 comprises a guide edge body 27, which in a front view is visible to the user and in a side view has a shape that bulges forward, and a lower mounting portion t2 that extends upward from the lower end edge of the guide edge body 27, located on the rear side of the guide edge body 27.

The guide edge body 27 is a rectangular strip extending in the left-right direction. In a front view, the guide edge body 27 is positioned in front of the main slit portion h1 that constitutes the through hole H, making the main slit portion h1 difficult to see from the front.

In the pocket body 2, the upper part of the front sheet portion 25, the bent portion 22, and the guide edge portion 23 are positioned to straddle the lower cantilevered portion 12 provided on the base 1 in the front-rear direction, as seen from the side.

The lower mounting portion t2 is welded to the front surface of the base 1 below the through hole H. The mounting position of the lower mounting portion t2 is guided by the welding guide portion 13 provided on the base 1.

The sheet material constituting the pocket body 2 can be set to a different color from the sheet material constituting the base 1. When the pocket body 2 and the base 1 are set to different colors, the user can more easily see the guide edge 23 (particularly the guide edge body 27) positioned in front of the base 1 when viewed from the front.

<Opening K>
The opening K is for inserting and removing items B into and out of the storage space sp, and is formed between the base 1 and the guide edge 23.

The opening K is configured such that there is a gap between the front surface of the base 1 and the bent portion 22. When storing item B in the storage space sp, the user can easily store item B in the storage space sp by placing their fingers or the item B in the gap between the front surface of the base 1 and the bent portion 22, thereby expanding the opening K.

<Suspension member 3>
The suspension member 3 is for suspending and supporting the main body, which is mainly composed of the base 1 and the pocket body 2.

The suspension member 3 comprises a hook portion 31 located at the top, which can be attached to structures such as buildings or furniture, and a strip-shaped portion 32 that connects the hook portion 31 to the base 1. The strip-shaped portion 32 of the suspension member 3 is rotatably connected to the base 1 via a core material extending in the left-right direction.

As described above, the storage device according to this embodiment comprises a base 1 with a through-hole H extending in the front-to-back direction, and a pocket body 2 attached to the base 1 and provided with a storage space sp capable of storing an article B.

Furthermore, the pocket body 2 comprises a pocket body 21 having a storage space sp, and a guide edge 23 connected to the pocket body 21 via a bent portion 22 and arranged to extend in the left-right direction along the through hole H.

The storage device has an opening K formed between the base 1 and the guide edge 23 for inserting and removing items B from the storage space sp, and the bent portion 22 is provided spaced further forward than the base 1.

Therefore, this embodiment provides a storage device that allows for easy insertion and removal of items B from the storage space sp of the pocket body 2 through the opening K.

In other words, the guide edge 23 that constitutes the pocket body 2 makes it easy for the user to grasp the position of the opening K. Furthermore, unlike conventional designs where the opening for inserting and removing items is exposed on a smooth, forward-facing end surface, in this embodiment, the bent portion 22 of the pocket body 2 is spaced further forward than the base 1, making it easier to insert and remove items B through the opening K.

The pocket body 21 comprises a rear seat portion 24 and a front seat portion 25 positioned in front of the rear seat portion 24, with a storage space sp formed between the rear seat portion 24 and the front seat portion 25. The upper part of the front seat portion 25 is configured to be positioned on the front side of the base 1 through a through-hole H.

Therefore, it is easy to store item B into the pocket body 21 from the front of base 1.

The upper end of the rear seat portion 24 is attached to the rear surface above the through-hole H in the base 1, and the end of the guide edge portion 23 is attached to the front surface below the through-hole H in the base 1.

Therefore, it is possible to suitably adopt a configuration in which the end of the guide edge 23 is positioned forward of the upper end of the pocket body 2, resulting in excellent design flexibility that facilitates the insertion and removal of items B through the opening K.

Base 1 is formed from a sheet material made of synthetic resin, and pocket body 2 is formed from a sheet material made of synthetic resin that is softer than base 1.

Therefore, the storage device possesses overall rigidity while also exhibiting excellent flexibility, making it easy to insert and remove items B from the pocket body 2.

The base 1 has multiple through-holes H spaced apart in the vertical direction, and five pocket bodies 2 are provided corresponding to the five through-holes H.

Therefore, the storage device allows the user to selectively store items B in multiple pockets 2 at their discretion.

The base 1 is designed to be folded in a predetermined position, allowing it to assume a folded posture (F) in which multiple, or five, pocket bodies 2 overlap.

Therefore, the storage container is designed to be compact and easily folded during transport before use and when not in use.

The base 1 is suspended and supported via the suspension member 3. Therefore, the storage device can be suitably used as a wall-mounted storage device by hanging the suspension member 3 on a building, furniture, or other structure.

Furthermore, the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described in detail above.

It goes without saying that the sheet material constituting the base can be made of various materials and shapes, without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

It goes without saying that the sheet material constituting the pocket body can be made of various materials and shapes, without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

The number of through-holes in the base and the number of pocket bodies corresponding to those through-holes may be a single number.

The pocket itself can take any form as long as it forms a storage space. For example, the pocket itself may not have closed edges on both the left and right sides.

The guide edge only needs to be positioned along the through-hole, and its shape is not limited to a horizontally elongated strip.

The bent portion is not limited to those bent along a fold line; it may also be bent without the creation of a fold line.

The end of the guide edge only needs to be attached to the front surface of the base, and its configuration can be as appropriate.

The storage device may be designed to be used exclusively. In other words, the storage device may be designed in a way that prevents it from being folded.

The storage unit may not be suspended or supported via a suspension member.

It goes without saying that suspension members of various structures can be applied.

Furthermore, the specific configuration of each part is not limited to the above embodiments, and various modifications are possible without departing from the spirit of the present invention.

A storage device comprising a base having a through hole that penetrates in the front-to-back direction, and a pocket body attached to the base having a storage space for storing articles,
