Abstract

[Problem] Conventionally, supports for protecting the wrist have been commercialized in a wide variety of forms, but the hand has various roles such as lifting, carrying, and grasping objects. To provide a rational support that allows these actions without relying on muscle strength and reduces the burden on the body.
[Solution] The belt supporter of the present invention fixes the palm and wrist on the palm side with a fixing plate, and further supports the ulnar head of the wrist on the back side of the hand at the ankle opening.By wrapping these together crosswise, the wrist is stabilized and firmly fixed, and by controlling unnecessary movement, a stabilizing function is created, preventing unnecessary muscle strain, allowing for lighter loads to be carried, and reducing the strain on the arms and hands.

Description

This invention relates to reducing the strain on the hands and arms by allowing the user to feel that the load is lighter than the actual weight.

Traditionally, supports with plates to protect the wrist have been commercialized in a wide variety of forms and are widely known to the public.

A supporter with a wrist support plate has a palm support plate and a back support plate attached to the supporter, which fixes the wrist to control unnecessary wrist movement and reduce strain on the hand and arm (see Patent Document 1).

In the prior art described in Patent Document 1, the lower sides of the palm and back support plates are firmly secured by wrapping them with elastic bands. However, the upper sides of the support plates are secured only by the pressure of the elastic supporters, and therefore unless the supporters fit the exact size of the wearer's hand, they are difficult to secure firmly and may not provide sufficient relief.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art, the present invention provides a belt supporter with wrist support plate that is worn on the hand and wrist and is equipped with a wrist support plate and ankle openings. When the belt supporter is worn on the hand and wrist, the belt supporters cross over each other and wrap around the hand and wrist, covering the palm and back of the hand. The wrist support plate is pressed by the belt supporter to come into contact with the palm and wrist, and the ulnar head of the ankle fits into the ankle opening provided in the belt supporter.

The belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention is also characterized by having a thumb opening at the tip of the belt supporter and a hook-and-loop fastener at the rear end of the inner surface, which fastens the belt supporter after it has been wrapped around and secured.

The belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention is characterized by a rubber band for replacing the support plate on the inner surface of the belt supporter on the palm side, which allows the support plate to be rotated up and down, making it suitable for both left and right wrists.

The belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention is made of a highly elastic material, and is characterized by its composition, with the inner surface made of a highly elastic material and an anti-stretch patch to prevent stretching, the ankle openings bordered with fixing fabric, a hook-and-loop fastener at the rear end, and an anti-slip fabric at the rear end of the outer surface.

This invention pinpoints and firmly fixes the support plate on the palm side to the ulnar head of the ankle on the back of the hand, and then wraps them crosswise with the belt supporter, creating a synergistic effect that provides stable support and a comfortable fit, giving you the feeling of a lighter load.

The belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention is made from a highly stretchable material, and the inner surface is made from a highly stretchable material with an anti-stretch fabric applied to the area around the wrist to prevent stretching. This means that the wrist is not constricted and pressure is avoided, and the moderate pressure puts less strain on the wrist, making it possible to wear for long periods of time. The back edge of the outer surface is fitted with an anti-slip fabric, which allows the hand and luggage to fit snugly, making movement easier.

In addition, the ankle opening is edged with a fixed fabric, which firmly grips and supports the ulnar head of the ankle, stabilizing the wrist. This invention is a belt supporter with wrist support plates that uses a different concept from conventional ones to reduce the burden of luggage. Simply cross the straps and wrap them around your body in a natural position; pressure can be freely adjusted, providing both support and a comfortable fit. It is easy to put on and can be used by anyone, regardless of age or gender. There are also belt supporters available for right or left hands depending on the purpose, and some have rubber bands for replacing the support plates, so they can be worn on either the left or right hand.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. Figure 1(a) is a front view of the outer surface 1 of a belt supporter with a wrist support plate, which has a thumb opening 3 and an ankle opening 4. The upper and lower ends 6 and 7 of the palm support plate 5, designed for the left hand, protrude vertically from the outer surface 1 of the belt supporter, and the rear end is equipped with an anti-slip cloth 8. Figure 1(b) is the back view of Figure 1(a). The internal structure of the inner surface 2 of the belt supporter includes the thumb opening 3 and ankle opening 4, as well as upper and lower rubber bands 9 and 10 for replacing the support plate, which are arranged diagonally above and below. It also includes an ankle opening edging 11, an anti-stretch patch 13 in the wrist wrapping area 12, and a hook-and-loop fastener 14 at the rear end.

Figure 2(a) is a front view of the palm-side support plate 5, which has a rounded upper end 6 and a wide lower end 7. Figure 4 illustrates the process of setting up the belt support outer surface 1 for the left hand and wrapping it around the left wrist. In Figure 4(a), the thumb is passed through the thumb opening 3 of the belt support outer surface 1 and rotated downward toward the wrist on the little finger side of the palm. In Figure 4(b), the ulnar head of the ankle is placed through the ankle opening 4 on the back of the hand and wrapped around the wrist. In Figure 4(c), the lower end 7 of the palm-side support plate protruding from the outer surface 1 of the belt support on the palm side is crossed, grasped, and wrapped up toward the little finger side. In Figure 4(d), the belt support is wrapped around the space between the thumb and index finger on the back of the hand. In Figure 4(e), the upper end 6 of the palm-side support plate protruding from the outer surface 1 of the belt support on the palm side is crossed, grasped, and wrapped around the wrist, then lowered to the inner surface 2 of the belt support and fastened with a hook-and-loop fastener.

The belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention consists of a single supporter made of a highly elastic material such as polyester, with a hook-and-loop fastener 14 at the rear end and a non-slip cloth 8 on the backside. Furthermore, by applying an elasticity-retaining patch 13 to the wrist wrapping area 12 on the inner surface 2 of the belt supporter, excessive pressure on the wrist is avoided and moderate pressure is applied, reducing strain on the wrist. The cooperation of both elastic and non-elastic areas provides effective functionality. There are no particular restrictions on the material, and any known material can be used as long as it meets the above requirements.

The palm-side support plate 5 of the present invention's belt supporter with wrist support plate is made of a deformed material such as light metal, and the upper end 6 of the palm-side support plate is rounded to facilitate insertion of the rubber bands 9, 10 used to replace the support plate. The lower end 7 of the palm-side support plate is slightly wider to ensure stability with the wrist. It is also shaped to fit the palm and wrist, taking into consideration any discomfort caused by the thickness of the palm and wrist. Furthermore, a convex portion 15 is provided on the upper end 6 of the palm-side support plate, the surface that comes into direct contact with the palm, and a thin cushion sheet 16 is provided on the side, making it easier for the palm and wrist to fit comfortably.

The palm side support plate upper end 6 and palm side support plate lower end 7 of the palm side support plate 5 protrude upward and downward beyond the width of the belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention. However, during the process of wrapping the outer surface 1 of the belt supporter, the palm side support plate lower end 7 is wrapped up while covering it from below, crossing it over, and then the palm side support plate upper end 6 is wrapped up while covering it from above, crossing it over, and finally fastening it firmly with the hook-and-loop fastener 14 at the rear end, thereby securely fixing the wrist. Furthermore, the ankle opening 4 supports the ulnar bone on the back of the hand, providing stability. These mutual effects create a stabilizing function, which gives the user the feeling of a lighter load and reduces strain on the hands and arms.

The size of the belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention can be adjusted to suit the user, regardless of age or gender, and depending on the type of work or purpose of use. The length of the belt supporter with wrist support plate of the present invention is preferably 40 cm to 60 cm, and the width is preferably 5 cm to 8 cm. The length of the palm side support plate 10 is preferably 5 cm to 11 cm, the width of the upper end 11 is preferably 2 cm to 4 cm, and the width of the lower end 12 is preferably 2 cm to 5 cm. The length of the ankle opening 4 is preferably 6 cm to 8 cm, and the width is preferably 1 cm to 3 cm.

A belt supporter with a wrist support plate that is worn on the hand and wrist and has a wrist support plate and an ankle opening,
When wearing the belt supporter on your hand or wrist,
