Description

The present invention relates to a pipe support that is attached to a structure such as a building to support pipes.

Examples of pipe supports that are attached to structures such as buildings (as defined in the "Fundamentals of Design for Civil Engineering and Architecture" (Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism), in this application, a "structure" is used as "something that has a desired function and is artificially constructed with the intention of resisting action") to support pipes include the pipe supports described in Patent Documents 1 and 2.

The pipe support (pipe hanging band) described in Patent Document 1 includes a turn buckle, a first support member (band piece for temporarily placing pipe) having a first mounting portion (hanging piece) attached to the turn buckle and a first support portion (curved piece) provided below the first mounting portion and supporting the peripheral surface of the pipe, a second support member (band piece for holding the pipe) having a second mounting portion (hanging piece) attached to the turn buckle and a second support portion (curved piece) provided below the second mounting portion and supporting the peripheral surface of the pipe, and a bolt that passes through an insertion hole (bolt hole) formed in the turn buckle, the first mounting portion, and the second mounting portion, respectively, and fastens the turn buckle, the first mounting portion, and the second mounting portion together with a nut, and the first support member and the second support member are provided with a large diameter portion that forms an arc portion with a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the curved first support portion and the second support portion, and the possibility of slippage when the bolt and the nut are fastened is prevented, thereby ensuring the highest possible efficiency in piping work and enabling a stable and reliable fitting and holding of the pipe.

The pipe support described in Patent Document 2 includes a turnbuckle, a first support member (band portion) having a first mounting portion (support piece portion) attached to the turnbuckle and a first support portion (pipe holding portion) provided below the first mounting portion to support the peripheral surface of the pipe, a second support member (band portion) having a second mounting portion (support piece portion) attached to the turnbuckle and a second support portion (pipe holding portion) provided below the second mounting portion to support the peripheral surface of the pipe, and a bolt hole (bolt hole) formed in the turnbuckle, the first mounting portion, and the second mounting portion to be inserted into the turnbuckle. The turn buckle has a nut and a bolt that fastens the first and second mounting portions together with a nut, and an opening/closing member is attached to the end of the first support member, one end of which is connected by an assembly mechanism or hinge mechanism, and the second support member is provided with a hooking mechanism to which the other end of the opening/closing member is hooked. The first support member and the second support member are attached in a pressed state against the turn buckle by providing an elastic member on at least one of the first mounting portion or the second mounting portion, so that little or no work of loosening and tightening the bolts and nuts is required, improving operability when embracing and installing the piping.

Incidentally, with the pipe support described in Patent Document 1, when performing piping work, the worker temporarily places the pipe on the first support member (a band piece for temporarily placing the pipe). In doing so, the worker must rotate the second support member (a band piece for holding the pipe) around the axis of the bolt and hold it with one hand to ensure a gap between the first support member and the second support member, and then use the other hand to temporarily place the pipe through this gap, leaving room for improvement in operability.

Furthermore, with the pipe support described in Patent Document 2, the worker does not need to keep holding down the opening and closing member during piping work, but the first support member and the second support member must be spread open to fit the pipe (see Figure 3 of the same patent document), and the workability when supporting one pipe with multiple pipe supports is not necessarily good. In addition, a configuration in which an elastic member is provided in the first mounting portion or the second mounting portion leads to an increase in the number of parts and assembly labor, which is undesirable.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide a pipe support that has a simple structure and improves the workability of piping work.

In order to solve the above problems, a pipe support according to the present invention includes a turnbuckle having a base to be attached to a structure and a pair of opposing pieces extending downward from the base, a first support member having a first mounting portion attached in contact with a first of the pair of opposing pieces and a first support portion provided below the first mounting portion and supporting a portion of a peripheral surface of a pipe, a second support member having a second mounting portion attached in contact with a second of the pair of opposing pieces and a second support portion provided below the second mounting portion and supporting another portion of the peripheral surface of the pipe and engaging with the first support portion, The fastening member is provided with a fastening member that passes through insertion holes formed in a first opposing piece, the second opposing piece, the first mounting portion, and the second mounting portion, respectively, and fastens the first opposing piece, the second opposing piece, the first mounting portion, and the second mounting portion, and the second mounting portion is provided with an abutment piece that abuts against the second opposing piece when the first opposing piece, the second opposing piece, the first mounting portion, and the second mounting portion are fastened, and an inclined piece extending upward from an upper portion of the abutment piece and away from the second opposing piece, and the insertion hole of the second mounting portion is formed from the abutment piece to the inclined piece.

According to this pipe support, the second mounting portion is provided with a first opposing piece, a second opposing piece, an abutment piece that abuts against the second opposing piece when the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion are fastened, and an inclined piece that extends upward from the upper part of the abutment piece in a direction away from the second opposing piece, and the insertion hole of the second mounting portion is formed from the abutment piece to the inclined piece, so that during piping work, the worker lifts the second support member so that the fastening member moves relatively from the abutment piece side to the inclined piece side in the insertion hole, and by abutting the inclined piece, not the abutment piece, against the second opposing piece, the second support member can be left open relative to the first support member and the pipe can be inserted into the pipe support, and the worker does not need to continue holding the second support member during piping work. And, this work can be realized without particularly increasing the number of parts or the number of assembly steps compared to conventional pipe supports, so that the pipe support according to the present invention can improve the workability of piping work with a simple configuration.

It is desirable that the portion of the first mounting portion that abuts against the first opposing piece and the abutment piece have the same or approximately the same vertical dimensions, thereby preventing the turn buckle from tilting when the fastening member is fastened.

It is desirable that the fastening member comprises a bolt inserted through each insertion hole of the first opposing piece, the second opposing piece, the first mounting portion and the second mounting portion, and a nut screwed onto the bolt. In this case, if the first opposing piece and the second opposing piece are elastically deformable with respect to the base, and the bolt or the nut is provided with a retaining portion that prevents the nut from coming off so that the elastic deformation of the first opposing piece and the second opposing piece is maintained even when the nut is loosened from the bolt, the nut is prevented from falling off, and in a state in which the inclined piece is abutted against the second opposing piece and the second supporting member is kept open relative to the first supporting member (during temporary construction), an elastic force is applied from the first opposing piece to the first supporting member and from the second opposing piece to the second supporting member, respectively, and shaking of the first supporting member and the second supporting member is suppressed, thereby further improving the workability of the piping work.

Furthermore, if the first mounting portion or the second mounting portion is provided with a recess into which at least a portion of the nut can fit when it is temporarily fastened to the bolt, even if an operator moves the piping to adjust its position in the temporarily fastened state before the nut is fully tightened, and as a result the second support member attempts to shift vertically relative to the first support member, the nut, at least a portion of which fits into the recess, will get caught in the recess, preventing the second support member from shifting vertically, thereby further improving the workability of the piping work.

Furthermore, the first support portion and the second support portion may be provided with an engaging claw and an engaged portion that engage with each other, and when the nut is tightened against the bolt, the engaging claw and the engaged portion may be engaged tightly, thereby preventing the engagement between the first support portion and the second support portion from loosening. In this case, it is preferable that the second support portion is provided with a guide portion that guides the engagement of the engaging claw with the engaged portion in order to facilitate the engagement operation with the first support portion.

The first support portion may be provided with a regulating portion that regulates movement of the engaging claw and engaged portion of the second support portion in the direction of disengagement, so that when the nut is in a temporary fastening state before it is fully tightened, even if an operator moves the piping to adjust its position, and as a result the second support member attempts to shift relative to the first support member in the direction of disengagement of the engaging claw and engaged portion, the regulating portion provided on the first support portion regulates movement of the second support portion in the direction of disengagement, preventing the engagement from occurring while adjusting the piping position, thereby further improving the workability of the piping work.

The base has an insertion hole into which a rotating nut is inserted to be screwed onto a hanging bolt fixed to the structure, and the first opposing piece or the second opposing piece may be provided with a stopper portion for preventing the rotating nut from falling out of the insertion hole, and it is desirable that the first opposing piece or the second opposing piece further has an insertion regulating portion for preventing over-insertion of the hanging bolt into the turn buckle.

According to the pipe support of the present invention, the pipe support can improve the workability of piping work with a simple structure.

As shown in Figure 3, the fastening piece 22 has a first internode 22a extending downward from the left edge of the base 21 (the left edge of the base 21 in Figure 3) approximately perpendicular to the base 21, a second internode 22b extending obliquely from the lower edge of the first internode 22a toward the fastening piece 23, and an overlapping portion 22c extending further downward from the lower edge of the second internode 22b and overlapping with the band piece 30.

The fastening piece 23 has a first internode 23a extending downward from the right edge of the base 21 (the right edge of the base 21 in Figure 3) approximately perpendicular to the base 21, a second internode 23b extending obliquely from the lower edge of the first internode 23a toward the fastening piece 22, and an overlapping portion 23c extending further downward from the lower edge of the second internode 23b and overlapping with the band piece 40.

The first intersection portion 22a and the first intersection portion 23a are formed with anti-slip portions 22d and 23d that stand up below the rotating nut 24 to prevent the rotating nut 24 from falling out of the insertion hole 21a, and the overlap portion 22c and the overlap portion 23c are formed with round holes 22e and 23e through which the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60 is inserted.

The band piece 30 is formed by pressing a strip-shaped steel plate, and as shown in Figure 4, has a hanging portion 31 that overlaps and abuts against the overlapping portion 22c of the fastening piece 22 and is attached, and a support portion 32 that is provided below the hanging portion 31 and supports a portion of the circumferential surface of the pipe P including the lower end portion Pa.

The suspending portion 31 has a generally rectangular flat plate shape with a height dimension h, and is formed with a round hole 31a through which the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60 is inserted, and a pair of protrusions 31b, 31b protruding outwardly on either side of the round hole 31a. The pair of protrusions 31b, 31b restrict rotation (along with rotation) of the head 62 of the bolt 60 (see FIGS. 6 to 9) when the nut 70 is screwed onto the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60.

The support portion 32 has a curved portion 32a that is curved in an arc shape with a diameter that is the same or approximately the same as the outer diameter of the pipe P, an expanded diameter portion 32b that is provided between the hanging portion 31 and the curved portion 32a and is curved in an arc shape with a larger diameter than the curved portion 32a, and an engaging claw 32c that is provided at the tip of the curved portion 32a and is curved like a hook toward the outside of the arc.

The band piece 40 is formed by pressing a strip-shaped steel plate, and as shown in Figure 5, has a hanging portion 41 that overlaps and is attached to the overlapping portion 23c of the fastening piece 23, and a support portion 42 that is provided below the hanging portion 41 and supports the other portion of the circumferential surface of the piping P.

The hanging portion 41 is provided with an abutment piece 43 that abuts against the fastening piece 23 when the hanging portion 41 is fastened together with the fastening pieces 22, 23 and the hanging portion 31 as described below, and an inclined piece 44 that extends upward from an upper portion of the abutment piece 43 in a direction away from the fastening piece 23. The abutment piece 43, like the hanging portion 31, is in the form of a substantially rectangular flat plate with a height dimension h, and an elongated hole 41a is formed from the abutment piece 43 to the inclined piece 44, through which the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60 is inserted.

The support portion 42 has a curved portion 42a curved in an arc shape with a diameter equal or approximately equal to the outer diameter of the pipe P, an expanded diameter portion 42b provided between the hanging portion 41 and the curved portion 42a and curved in an arc shape with a diameter larger than that of the curved portion 42a, and a bent portion 42d provided at the tip of the curved portion 42a and having an engaged hole 42c that engages with the engaging claw 32c. A tapered surface 42e that guides the engagement of the engaging claw 32c with the engaged hole 42c is provided inside the bent portion 42d and on the tip side of the engaged hole 42c.

The bolt 60 has a shaft 61 with a thread formed around it, which is inserted through the round hole 31a of the hanging portion 31, the round hole 22e of the fastening piece 22, the round hole 23e of the fastening piece 23, and the long hole 41a of the hanging portion 41 in this order, and the head 62 abuts against the hanging portion 31. The nut 70 is screwed into the portion protruding from the long hole 41a of the shaft 61. The shaft 61 of the bolt 60 is provided with a retaining portion 61a with an irregularly processed threaded surface to prevent the nut 70 from coming off. Even if the nut 70 is loosened to the retaining portion 61a, the head 62 and the nut 70 apply a force toward the inside of the turnbuckle 20 to the fastening pieces 22 and 23 via the hanging portions 31 and 41, and the elastic deformation of the fastening pieces 22 and 23 relative to the base 21 is maintained. Then, by tightening the nut 70 against the elastic force of the fastening pieces 22 and 23, the hanging portion 31, the fastening piece 22, the fastening piece 23 and the hanging portion 41 are fastened together.

When performing piping work using the piping support 10, the worker first lifts the band piece 40 so that the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60 moves relatively from the side of the abutment piece 43 to the side of the inclined piece 44 in the long hole 41a, as shown in Fig. 6, and the inclined piece 44, not the abutment piece 43, abuts against the fastening piece 23, thereby keeping the band piece 40 open relative to the band piece 30. At this time, the elastic force of the fastening piece 23 (the rightward force in Fig. 6) acts on the hanging part 41, so the worker pulls the band piece 40 downward to move the shaft portion 61 relatively upward in the long hole 41a formed in the abutment piece 43, and then rotates the band piece 40 in the direction of the arrow A in Fig. 6 against the biasing force, to move the shaft portion 61 relatively upward in the long hole 41a formed in the inclined piece 44.

Next, as shown in Figure 7, the worker inserts the piping P into the inside of the piping support 10 between the band pieces 30 and 40, and temporarily positions the piping P by supporting a portion of its peripheral surface, including the lower end part Pa, on the curved part 32a of the support part 32.

Next, as shown in Fig. 8, the worker rotates the band piece 40 in the direction of arrow B in a manner that is the opposite of the path taken when the band piece 40 was opened to close it, and as shown in Fig. 9, the engaging claw 32c is guided along the tapered surface 42e while being hooked into the engaged hole 42c, engaging the engaging claw 32c with the engaged hole 42c, and then tightens the nut 70. When the tightening of the nut 70 against the bolt 60 is increased, a force in the direction of arrow C acts on the band piece 40, so that the engaging claw 32c and the engaged hole 42c are tightly engaged with each other.

According to the pipe support 10 of this embodiment, the hanging portion 41 is provided with the abutment piece 43 that abuts against the fastening piece 23 when the hanging portion 41 is fastened together with the fastening pieces 22, 23 and the hanging portion 31, and the inclined piece 44 that extends upward from the upper part of the abutment piece 43 and away from the fastening piece 23, and the long hole 41a through which the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60 is inserted is formed from the abutment piece 43 to the inclined piece 44, so that during the piping work of the pipe P, the worker lifts the band piece 40 so that the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60 moves relatively from the abutment piece 43 side to the inclined piece 44 side in the long hole 41a, and by abutting the inclined piece 44 against the fastening piece 23, the worker can insert the pipe P into the pipe support 10 while keeping the band piece 40 open with respect to the band piece 30. Therefore, during the piping work, the worker does not need to continue holding the band piece 40. Furthermore, this work can be accomplished without significantly increasing the number of parts or assembly labor compared to conventional piping supports, so the piping support 10 has a simple configuration and can improve the workability of piping work.

In addition, the portion of the hanging portion 31 that abuts against the fastening piece 22 (here, the entire hanging portion 31) and the abutment piece 43 have the same vertical dimension h, so that the turn buckle 20 can be prevented from tilting when the fastening member 50 is fastened. That is, as shown in Fig. 10, for example, if the dimension of the portion of the hanging portion 31 that abuts against the fastening piece 22 is larger than the dimension of the abutment piece 43 by Δh, the force of the fastening member 50 acts more widely on the fastening piece 22 than on the fastening piece 23, causing the turn buckle 20 to tilt clockwise, but if the dimension of the portion of the hanging portion 31 that abuts against the fastening piece 22 and the dimension of the abutment piece 43 are the same or approximately the same as in this embodiment, the fastening pieces 22, 23 receive the same force from the left and right, and such tilting is suppressed.

The shaft 61 of the bolt 60 is provided with a retaining portion 61a having an irregularly processed threaded surface to prevent the nut 70 from coming off. Even if the nut 70 is loosened to the retaining portion 61a, the elastic deformation of the fastening pieces 22, 23 relative to the base 21 is maintained, preventing the nut 70 from falling off. In addition, when the inclined piece 44 is abutted against the fastening piece 23 and the band piece 40 is kept open relative to the band piece 30 (during temporary installation), an elastic force is applied from the fastening piece 22 to the band piece 30 and from the fastening piece 23 to the band piece 40, suppressing wobbling of the band piece 30 and the band piece 40, further improving the workability of the piping work.

Furthermore, band pieces 30 and 40 are provided with engaging claws 32c and engaged holes 42c that engage with each other, and when the nut 70 is tightened against the bolt 60, the engaging claws 32c and the engaged holes 42c engage tightly, thereby preventing the engagement between band pieces 30 and 40 from loosening.

11 and 12 show modified examples of the turn buckle 20, the band piece 30 and the band piece 40. In FIG.

In the turnbuckle 20, the retaining portion 22d faces the fastening piece 23, and the retaining portion 23d faces the fastening piece 22, and stopper portions 22f, 23f that are longer than the retaining portions 22d, 23d are provided below the retaining portions 22d, 23d. When attaching the turnbuckle 20 to the hanging bolt B, the hanging bolt B is inserted into the turnbuckle 20 via the rotating nut 24, but as shown in Figure 13(a), if the hanging bolt B is overinserted into the turnbuckle 20, the elastic deformation of the fastening pieces 22, 23 is prevented. However, the stopper portions 22f, 23f prevent such overinsertion as shown in Figure 13(b), so that the elastic deformation of the fastening pieces 22, 23 is prevented by the hanging bolt B, and a situation in which the piping work is hindered due to the elastic deformation of the fastening pieces 22, 23 being prevented by the hanging bolt B is prevented.

As shown in Fig. 14, the band piece 30 is provided with a pair of restricting claws 32d, 32d sandwiching the engaging claw 32c. In piping work, in a temporary fastening state before the nut 70 is completely fastened (the state before the tightening of the nut 70 on the bolt 60 is increased in Fig. 9), the worker moves the pipe P to adjust the position of the pipe P, which may cause the band pieces 30, 40 to move against each other with a rattle, but as shown in Fig. 15, even if the band piece 40 moves in the direction of arrow D relative to the band piece 30 and tries to shift in a direction in which the engaging claw 32c and the engaged hole 42c are disengaged, the restricting claw 32d provided on the support part 32 hits the bent part 42d and restricts the movement of the support part 42 in the direction in which the engagement is disengaged, so that the disengagement during the adjustment of the pipe position can be prevented.

The band piece 40 is provided at the lower end of the long hole 41a with a recess 41b into which a part of the nut 70 fits in a temporarily fastened state. Even if an operator moves the pipe P to adjust the position of the pipe P in the temporarily fastened state and the band piece 40 moves in the direction of the arrow E relative to the band piece 30 and attempts to shift up or down as shown in Fig. 16, the nut 70 fitted in the recess 41b gets caught in the recess 41b and suppresses the vertical shift, thereby further improving the workability of the piping work.

Although the embodiment for carrying out the present invention has been described above, the embodiment of the present invention is not limited to the above, and may be appropriately modified without departing from the spirit of the invention.

For example, in the above embodiment, the engaging claw 32c is provided on the band piece 30 and the engaged hole 42c is provided on the band piece 40, but the manner of engagement is not limited to this, and it is of course also acceptable for the engaged hole to be provided on the band piece 30 and the engaging claw to be provided on the band piece 40.

In addition, in the above embodiment, the shaft portion 61 of the bolt 60 is provided with a slip-out prevention portion 61a, but such a slip-out prevention portion may be provided on the nut rather than the bolt, and the shape, formation position and number of the regulating claws 32d are not limited to those described above and may not be claw-shaped, for example, like the regulating portion 32e shown in Figure 17.
