Description
皮膚対向面を有する基板と、

前記電極の凸型活性表面の上に重なる電極部分を有する導電性ゲル層と、

前記基板が導電性ゲルから形成されるか、または前記導電性ゲル層が前記基板の皮膚対向面の上に重なる基板部分を更に備え、
前記デバイスは、前記電極の外周の周りに延びる絶縁フレームを更に備え、前記電極と前記導電性ゲル基板との間、または前記導電性ゲル層の基板部分からの電気的絶縁を提供する、デバイスが提供される。
Claims (17)
- 神経調節療法電極デバイスであって、
皮膚対向面を有する基板と、
電気刺激信号を印加するために基板の前記皮膚対向面から突出する少なくとも1つの凸型活性表面を有する電極と、
前記電極の前記凸型活性表面の上に重なる電極部分を有する導電性ゲル層と、
を備え、
前記基板が、導電性ゲルから形成されるか、または前記導電性ゲル層が、前記基板の前記皮膚対向面上に重なり、該皮膚対向面と接触し且つ前記電極を取り囲む基板部分を更に備え、
前記デバイスは、前記電極の外周の周りに延びる絶縁フレームを更に備え、前記電極と前記導電性ゲルで形成された導電性ゲル基板との間、または前記電極と前記導電性ゲル層の前記基板部分との間に電気的絶縁を提供する、神経調節療法電極デバイス。 - 前記基板は、導電性ゲルから形成され、
前記皮膚対向面の反対側の前記導電性ゲル基板の表面上に形成されたバッキング層を更に備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記基板は、非ゲル材料から形成され、
前記導電性ゲル層は、前記基板の上に重なる基板部分を更に備える、請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記導電性ゲル層の前記電極部分および前記基板部分は均一の厚みを有する、請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記バッキング層または前記非ゲル材料から形成された基板は、頑丈であり、かつしなやかな材料から形成される、請求項2~4のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記バッキング層または前記非ゲル材料から形成された基板は、熱成形可能なまたは硬化可能な材料から形成される、請求項2~4のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記基板または前記導電性ゲル層の前記基板部分の前記皮膚対向面は接着性を有する、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記絶縁フレームは、2mm~20mmの幅を有する、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記絶縁フレームは絶縁円環であり、該絶縁円環は非導電性材料または絶縁ギャップから形成された絶縁リングを含む、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電極は、円形の断面を有する単一の半球状刺激面を有する、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電極の直径は2mm~12mmである、請求項10に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電極の凸型刺激面は、前記基板の前記皮膚対向面を超えて3mm~6mm突出する、請求項1~11のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、前記基板上のアレイまたはマトリックスに装着された複数の電極を備え、
前記複数の電極の各々が異なる絶縁フレームを有する、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。 - 前記導電性ゲル層または前記導電性ゲル基板は導電性ヒドロゲルから形成されている、請求項1~13のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記電極および前記導電性ゲル基板/前記導電性ゲル層の基板部分の各々が、前記電極に第1の極性を与え、前記導電性ゲル基板/前記導電性ゲル層の基板部分に第2の反対の極性を与えるように、電源に接続するためのそれぞれ導電性リードを備える、請求項1~14のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載の1つまたは複数の神経調節療法電極デバイスと、外部電源とを備える、神経調節療法システム。
- 前記電源は、1Hz~10kHzの周波数および最大40mAの電流を有する刺激信号を生成するように適合される、請求項16に記載のシステム。
