Abstract

[Problem] To provide a round cutter that can make a cut in the desired position near the zip part when opening a zip-sealed bag without excess or deficiency. Description

The present invention relates to a round cutter, and in particular to a round cutter that can be used by hand and forms a tongue for opening a zip-lock bag when opening a zip-lock bag.

Conventionally, round cutters have been known in which the sheet-like material to be cut is inserted into a slit and a U-shaped or other cutting blade is used to make a cut in part of the sheet-like material, with the aim of performing alignment and cutting operations in a stable position (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

In addition, with this type of round cutter, the cutting position for the sheet-like material is aligned by abutting the sheet-like material against the vertical wall surface at the back of the slit.

On the other hand, in recent years, some products such as confectionery and food are sold in sealed bags with zip fasteners, and by cutting off the edge of the bag from the zipper, the sealed state of the zipper is maintained, allowing the contents to be stored for a long time.

However, with the round cutter described above, the sheet-like material is positioned by abutting it against the vertical wall surface behind the cutting blade of the slit, so it may not be possible to make the cut in the appropriate position.

That is, examples of the above-mentioned unopened zip-locked sealed bag include zip-locked sealed bag 1 as shown in FIG. 10 and zip-locked sealed bag 2 as shown in FIG. 11.

The zip-locked sealed bag 1 shown in Figure 10 has a short range L1A of the sealing portion 1A provided near one edge in order to ensure airtightness before opening, and as a result, the distance L1B from the zip portion 1B to the one edge is short.

In contrast, the zip-locked sealed bag 2 shown in FIG. 11 is designed so that the zip-locked sealed bag 2 can be displayed in a hanging state by making the range L2A of the sealing portion 2A longer than the range L1A and providing a hanging hole 2C, so that the distance L2B from the zip portion 2B to one edge is longer than the distance L1B.

As a result, with the above-mentioned positioning structure in which one edge of the sheet-like material is butted against the vertical wall, regardless of the type of zip-locked sealed bag, the problem arose that it was not possible to form a cut in the desired position, i.e., near the zip portion, and in some cases, the problem was compounded that the cut was formed in such a way that it severed the zip portion.

The object of the present invention is to provide a round cutter that can cut a round cut in a zip-sealed bag in the desired position, close to the zip, without being too small or too small.

In order to solve the above problems, the present invention provides a zip-sealed bag that is rectangular when viewed from the front when unopened and contains contents, has at least one side formed as a sealing part where the front and back bag materials are joined and sealed together, and has a zip part that runs along the entire length inside the sealing part, and has an insertion part into which the one side is inserted and a space part that allows further insertion of the zip-sealed bag, and the insertion part is provided with a restricting part that restricts the zip part from entering the space part, and the space part includes a restricting part that restricts the zip part from entering the space part on one side of the zip-sealed bag. As a result, when forming a tongue near the zipper section after opening an unopened zip-sealed bag at the time of purchase, etc., the zipper section is restricted from entering the space from the insertion section more than necessary, and the round blade section can be pressed against the vicinity of the zipper section regardless of the length of the sealing section.

According to the present invention, when forming a notch for a tongue in a zip-sealed bag, the notch for the tongue can be formed in the desired position, close to the zipper, without being too much or too little.

Next, a round cutter according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The round cutter described below can be applied to all zip-fitted sealed bags, regardless of the length of the sealing portion shown in Figures 10 and 11 above. Therefore, the following description will be given assuming the use of a zip-fitted sealed bag 2 (see Figure 11) with a long sealing portion in which it is difficult to form a tongue near the zip portion. Also, since the specific structure of the zip portion 2B is publicly known, it will be illustrated in a simplified manner.

As shown in FIG. 1, the round cutter 10 has a rectangular base portion 20 that is long in the insertion direction of the zip-locked sealed bag 2 (see arrow A in FIG. 1(A) hereinafter, this direction is referred to as the "depth direction", with the upstream side in the depth direction referred to as the "front" or "tip" and the downstream side as the "rear" or "rear"), and a blade fixing portion 30 and a cover portion 40 that are rotatably mounted via a support shaft 21 on the rear side of the base portion 20.

The base 20 has a support base 22 made of resin or rubber with cushioning properties on the top surface 20a near the front end. This support base 22 is long toward the back side of the base 20, and is set to be longer than the maximum length L2B from the zip portion 2B to one edge of an existing zip-locked sealed bag 2, for example.

In addition, metal support legs 23 are provided on both sides near the rear end of the base 20, standing up from the top surface 20a, and both ends of the support shaft 21 are fixed to the support legs 23 so that the axis of the support shaft 21 is in the width direction.

Furthermore, the rear end 24a of a Z-shaped leaf spring 24 without a fold is fixed to the upper surface 20a near the rear end of the base part 20. Only the rear end 24a of this leaf spring 24 is fixed near the rear end of the base part 20, and the free end 24b faces upward as it approaches the tip of the base part 20.

As shown in FIG. 2, the blade fixing unit 30 includes a bottom box-shaped base 31 that opens upward from a hard material such as metal, a leaf spring-shaped restricting unit 32 that is disposed inside the base 31, and a cutter unit 33 that is fixed near the tip of the base 31.

The free end 24b of the leaf spring 24 is pressed against the bottom surface 34a of the bottom wall 34 of the base 31, and the tip of the blade fixing part 30 is constantly biased upward with the support shaft 21 as the pivot point.

The restricting portion 32 comprises a plate-shaped portion 32a whose rear side is fixed to the upper surface 34b of the bottom wall portion 34, and a restricting piece portion 32b that is bent downward into an approximately L-shape from the tip side, which is the free end of the plate-shaped portion 32a.

The restricting piece 32b protrudes downward from a slit 34c (shown only in Figure 2(B)) formed at the very tip of the bottom wall 34.

The cutter section 33 is fixed to the bottom surface 34a near the tip of the bottom wall section 34, and includes a holder 35 made of a resin such as acrylic, and a roughly U-shaped round blade section 36 that is held by the holder 35 and opens toward the tip.

As shown in FIG. 3, the holder 35 includes an outer holder 35a and an inner holder 35b that sandwich and hold the round blade portion 36 in a U-shape. Here, the outer holder 35a and the inner holder 35b are formed by cutting a rectangular base material with a laser or the like based on design data, and the cutting width (e.g., the laser width) is set to the thickness of the round blade portion 36, so that the round blade portion 36 can be held without any gaps.

The thickness of the holder 35 is equal to or less than the height of the round blade 36, so that the entire cutting edge of the round blade 36 protrudes from the holder 35. As shown in FIG. 3A, the width W2 of the restricting piece 32b is narrower than the distance W1 between both ends of the round blade 36.

As a result, as shown in FIG. 4(A), before the lower end of the regulating piece portion 32b comes into contact with the support base portion 22, the regulating piece portion 32b is positioned below the cutting edge of the round blade portion 36, so that as shown in FIG. 4(B), the lower end of the regulating piece portion 32b abuts against the support base portion 22 before the cutting edge of the round blade portion 36, and then, as shown in FIG. 4(C), the regulating piece portion 32b rises upward against the force of the regulating portion 32.

The cover part 40 is made of resin or the like and is integrally molded to open downwards, forming an upper box shape that covers the blade fixing part 30 from the outside.

As shown in FIG. 1(A), this configuration allows the space between the restricting piece 32b and the front side of the tip of the support base 22 to be an insertion section E1 into which one side of the zip-locked sealable bag 2 is inserted, and the space between the restricting piece 32b and the rear side of the tip of the support base 22 to be a deep space E2 that allows further insertion of the zip-locked sealable bag 2.

In this way, the round cutter 10 has an insertion part E1 into which one side is inserted and a space part E2 that allows further insertion of the zip-sealed bag 2, which is rectangular when viewed from the front when the bag is unopened and contains the contents, and has at least one side formed as a sealing part 2A where the front and back bag materials are joined and sealed together, and has a zip part 2B that runs along the entire length inside the sealing part 2A. The insertion part E1 is provided with a restricting part 32 that restricts the zip part 2B from entering the space part E2, and the space part E2 is provided with a round blade part 36 that can approach and move away from one side of the zip-sealed bag 2, and is bent so that when approaching, it moves from the vicinity of the zip part 2B toward the edge side of one side and forms a round cut (2D) with the edge side closed, and a support base part 22 that is located on the other side of the zip-sealed bag and supports the pressure when the round blade part 36 approaches.

Specifically, in this configuration, as shown in FIG. 5(A), the zip-sealed bag 2 is rectangular when viewed from the front when unopened and contains contents (not shown), and has at least one side formed as a sealed portion 2A where the front and back bag materials are joined and sealed together, and has a zip portion 2B that runs the entire length inside the sealed portion 2A. One side of the zip-sealed bag 2 is inserted through the insertion portion E1.

From this state, as shown in FIG. 5(B), when further insertion of the zip-locked sealed bag 2 is permitted and one side faces the space E2, the user gently operates the cover portion 40 downward to visually restrict the zip portion 2B from entering the space E2 beyond the restricting piece portion 32b.

Then, as shown in FIG. 5(C), by operating the cover portion 40 downward, the round blade portion 36 can form a roughly U-shaped cut (2D) in the zip-locked sealed bag 2 behind the restricting piece portion 32b and immediately adjacent to the zip portion 2B.

As a result, even when the sealing portion 2A of the zip-sealed bag 2 is long due to the formation of the hanging hole 2C as shown in FIG. 6(A), the round blade 36 can form a U-shaped cut 2D near the zip portion 2B without wrapping it around the zip portion 2B as shown in FIG. 6(B). Therefore, by cutting one side including the sealing portion 2A along the zip portion 2B, as shown in FIG. 6(C), a tongue portion 2E can be formed (remains) that protrudes from the edge after the zip portion 2B of the zip-sealed bag 2 is torn between the zip portion 2B and the sealing portion 2A, so that the tongue portion 2E can be used as a grip when the user opens the zip portion 2B.

As shown in FIG. 6(D), the restricting piece 32b applies pressure to the area adjacent to the zipper portion 2B, which can give the tongue portion 2E a shape that makes it easier to separate the front and back of the bag material.

In this embodiment, the round cutter 10 is disclosed as being configured like a stapler, which is easy for users to operate (the operation feels familiar), but the present invention is not limited to this configuration.

(Guillotine method)
FIG. 7 shows a guillotine type round cutter 50 which employs a simpler configuration and is easier to operate.

The round cutter 50 shown in FIG. 7 is a box-shaped structure divided into upper and lower parts, with a support base 52 provided on the lower box 51.

In addition, the upper box 53 is provided with a push button 54 that protrudes from the upper surface 53a and can be raised and lowered, and is constantly biased upward by a coil spring 55 that is arranged to surround the shaft portion 54a.

Furthermore, a holder portion 54b that is bent forward is integrally provided at the lower end of the shaft portion 54a, and a round blade portion 56 is provided on the bottom side of the holder portion 54b.

On the other hand, the lower box 51 and the upper box 53 are provided with upper edge portions 51a and lower edge portions 53b that form a slit-shaped insertion opening 57 in front of the round blade portion 56. The height of this insertion opening 57 is set lower than the thickness of the zipper portion 2B, and the upper edge portions 51a and lower edge portions 53b form a restricting portion.

In this way, by forming the restricting portion with the lower box 51 and the upper box 53, which are shaped like a housing, the height of the insertion opening 57 can be used as is. In this case, a restricting piece 58 can be provided on the holder portion 54b, and used as a piece dedicated to forming a crease in the tongue piece portion 2E shown in FIG. 6(D).

8 shows a pliers-type round cutter 60. The pliers-type in this case refers to a slip-joint pliers type that, when a user grips a pair of handles so that they approach each other, can change the opening of the grip faces of the clamping parts between a close contact state and a separate state by making the rotation axis eccentric.

As shown in FIG. 8, the round cutter 60 comprises a pair of steels 62, 63 rotatably connected via a rotating shaft 61.

Each steel 62, 63 is connected in a cross-shaped manner with the rotating shaft 61 as a fulcrum, with one end forming a handle 62a, 63a that the user grasps, and the other end forming a clamp 62b, 63b that clamps the object.

When the user grips the pair of handles 62a, 63a so that they approach each other, the clamps 62b, 63b are set so that the connection between one of the steels 63 and the rotating shaft 61 is offset, causing the openings of the grip surfaces 62c, 63c of the clamps 62b, 63b to move apart.

On the other hand, a support base 65 equivalent to the support base 22 is provided on the grip surface 62c via an extension base 64.

On the other hand, the grip surface 63c is provided with a restricting portion 67 corresponding to the restricting portion 32, a holder 68 corresponding to the holder 35, and a round blade portion 69 corresponding to the round blade portion 36 via an extension base 66.

And even with this configuration, it is possible to achieve the same effects as in embodiment 1 above.

Above, the embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail with reference to the attached drawings. However, it goes without saying that the scope of the technical idea of the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described here. It is clear that a person with ordinary knowledge in the technical field to which the present invention pertains can conceive of making various changes, modifications, combinations, etc. within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention described in the claims. Therefore, the technologies subsequent to these changes, modifications, combinations, etc. naturally fall within the scope of the technical idea of the present invention.

Specifically, the example shown in Figures 9(A) and (B) shows the shape of the cut 2D when the round blade portion 36 is U-shaped as described above. In contrast, the example shown in Figures 9(C) and (D) shows the round blade portion 76 being approximately Ω-shaped. This allows a horizontal cut 2F to be formed along the zipper portion 2B near the zipper portion 2B of the zip-locked sealable bag 2. This cut 2F can be used to cut one side of the zipper portion 2B.

In addition, to achieve the same effect by forming such a cut 2F, the shape can be arbitrary, such as a round blade portion 86 in a V-shape as shown in Figures 9 (E) and (F), or a round blade portion 96 with a cross-section resembling a kettle as shown in Figures 9 (G) and (H).

Although we will not provide examples, the present invention can be implemented with various modifications without departing from the spirit of the invention.
