Description

Dual-wrap containers have been developed that have an outer container with a replaceable refill container.
Patent Document 1 (JP 2016-193741 A) discloses a double container that is designed to make it easy to remove the refill container when replacing it by pushing the refill container up to the bottom of the outer container.
Patent Document 2 (JP 2013-244347 A) discloses a refill container with an inner lid, in which the convex edge of the inner lid and the convex shape on the opening edge of the refill container are set at the same height, so that the sealing material presses downward against the inner lid, improving airtightness.
The present applicant proposed in Patent Document 3 (Japanese Patent No. 4933793) a cosmetic container provided with an inner lid capable of storing a spatula.

The present invention is a cup-shaped refill container comprising a cup, an inner frame, and a sealing film. A spatula can be stored in the inner frame.
The cup-shaped refill container contains contents such as cream, has an inner frame set in the opening of the cup, and the upper surface of the rim of the cup is sealed with a sealing film.
The cup is formed with a receiving step portion on the inside of the upper part of the peripheral wall, which engages and supports the middle frame. The receiving step portion is formed below the thickness of the edge of the middle frame, so that when the middle frame is fitted into the cup, a gap is formed between the upper surface of the cup edge and the edge of the middle frame. This gap prevents the sealing film from being fused to the edge of the middle frame when the sealing film is heat-sealed to the upper surface of the cup edge. When the sealing film is peeled off, the middle frame can be prevented from coming off together with the sealing film. In addition, when storing a spatula in the middle frame, the middle frame can be set downward regardless of the height (boss) of the edge of the middle frame, and the spatula storage space can be enlarged, so that the degree of freedom in designing the shape of the spatula is increased. For example, the depth of the concave scooping surface and the thickness of the gripping portion can be varied.

The inner frame is a shallow dish that covers the opening of the cup, and is equipped with a resilient knob and an edge that engages with the receiving step of the cup. When storing a spatula, a spatula receiving section is formed in the center. One end of the knob is joined to the dish of the inner frame, and the other end is a free end. The position for joining one end of the knob can be anywhere inside the inner frame, but it is preferable to join it to the middle to center of the inner bottom of the inner frame. The knob has the function of operability for attaching and detaching the inner frame, and the function of pressing the inner frame downward. The size of the knob and the joining position are designed taking these two functions into consideration. When storing a spatula in the inner frame, it is adjusted to the storage position of the spatula.
The length of the knob is not limited as long as the free end abuts against the sealing film and falls down. In this fallen state, the elasticity of the knob presses the inner frame downward, and the edge is tightly attached to the receiving step of the cup, preventing the contents from leaking from the edge and stabilizing the position of the inner frame. When the sealing film is peeled off, the knob stands upright and becomes easy to pick up. In addition, by providing the receiving step downward, the distance from the inner bottom of the inner frame to the sealing film becomes large, and a long knob can be formed even with elasticity.
The inner frame is pressed against the cup to make tight contact, so that even if the container is subjected to shaking during transportation, it is possible to prevent accidents such as cosmetics or other contents leaking from the edge of the inner frame. This leakage prevention function is exerted even when the cup-shaped refill container is attached to the cosmetics container, because the knob abuts against the inner surface of the lid, for example, a packing, and the container is in a lying state, so that leakage prevention function can be exerted and leakage due to tipping over can be prevented.

The sealing film is a film material that is heat-sealed to the upper surface of the rim of the cup to seal the opening of the cup and is peeled off when the cosmetic is used. In the present invention, an inner frame is attached to the opening of the cup, and the sealing film is heat-sealed to the upper surface of the rim of the cup without being fused to the rim of the inner frame. The sealing film functions to push down the tip of the knob and store the knob in a lying down state in the cup-shaped refill container, and this function allows the aforementioned inner frame to be tightly attached to the cup.

The spatula is a spatula-shaped tool for scooping up cosmetics. It is stored in a middle frame that is attached to the opening of a cup. The spatula of the present invention is stored inside the refill container, so it is a dedicated item for the refill container to be used and is replaced every time the refill container is replaced. When in use, it is stored in the cosmetic container and can be used without being mixed with other cosmetics. The receiving step of the cup is set deeper than the thickness of the edge of the middle frame, so a wide space is created between the inner bottom of the middle frame and the sealing film, making it possible to design a spatula that is thicker than the depth of the dish of the middle frame, and improving the design freedom of the scooping surface and handle of the spatula.
In the cosmetic container with a spatula stored therein proposed by the applicant in Patent Document 3, the edge of the inner frame (inner lid) engages with the upper edge of the cup (inner container) so as to cover it, and the edge of the inner frame abuts against the packing on the inner surface of the lid. Therefore, the space for storing the spatula is limited to the depth of the inner frame, but in the present invention, this limitation is not present, and the design freedom is improved. In Patent Document 3, the inner frame can be removed by holding the edge of the inner frame, but in the present invention, it cannot be removed by holding the edge, so a knob for removal operation is provided, and the elasticity of the knob is used to press the inner frame to prevent the contents from leaking.

This cup-shaped refill container is stored in an outer container to form a cosmetics container. The cosmetics container has a cup-shaped refill container stored inside an outer container that is composed of a container body and a lid. A gasket is provided on the inner surface of the lid, and the gasket adheres closely to the upper surface of the edge of the cup. After the sealing film is peeled off, this gasket performs the same function as the sealing film.

1 shows a cup-shaped refill container 10 comprising a cup 1, an inner frame 2 engaged with a receiving step of the cup 1, and a sealing film 3 for sealing the upper edge of the cup 1. The cup 1 is filled with a content 5 such as cream. A spatula 4 is stored in the inner frame 2, and a knob 29 is integrally attached to the inner frame 2.
The tip side of the edge of the cup 1 is folded back to form a cup engaging portion for engaging with the container body of the outer container.
The sealing film 3 is adhered to the upper edge of the cup 1, and is separated from and not adhered to the edge of the inner frame 2. The sealing film 3 abuts against the free end of the tab 29, which is in a lying down state, and also serves the function of pressing the inner frame 2 against the cup 1 and bringing them into close contact by utilizing the elastic force of the tab.

The cup 1 is a deep "U" shape, so-called a jar type, with a rising peripheral wall 11 and a wide opening at the top. The upper end of the peripheral wall 11 is folded outward to form a cup engagement part 12, which is structured to engage with an outer container. The upper surface of the cup engagement part 12 is formed with a cup rim upper surface part 13, which is the part that is bonded to the sealing film. The cup rim upper surface part 13 is also the part that is in close contact with the packing on the inner surface of the lid of the outer container during use. A receiving step part 14 is formed on the inside of the upper end of the peripheral wall 11, which is the part that receives the edge of the middle frame. The receiving step part 14 is formed at a position lower than the thickness of the edge of the middle frame from the cup rim upper surface part 13 so that the edge of the middle frame is lower than the cup rim upper surface part 13.

The inner frame 2 is shown in Figure 3. A cross-sectional view is shown in Figure 3(a) and a plan view is shown in Figure 3(b).
The inner frame 2 is generally in the shape of a shallow dish, and the upper ends of the inner frame side walls 21 rising from the inner frame bottom wall 23 are formed into edges 22 that flare outward.
The upper edge surface 22a is substantially flat, and the lower edge surface 22b is formed extending from the outer periphery of the inner frame side wall 21, which becomes the portion that rests on the receiving step 14 of the cup 1. The inner frame 2 is sized to fit inside the opening surface of the cup 1, and the outer periphery of the edge 22 is sized to rest on the receiving step 14 of the cup 1.
In this example, a spatula receiving portion 28 is formed in the center of the inner frame by a convex protrusion 25 provided on the inner bottom 26 of the inner frame and a central recess 24. The spatula 4 fits stably in the spatula receiving portion 28. By providing the recess 24, a gap is created on the back side of the spatula 4, making it easier to remove the spatula with a finger. The shape and location of the spatula receiving portion 28 are not limited to the center and can be any shape and location depending on the shape of the spatula and the location of the knob 29.

The knob 29 is triangular, one end of which is fixed to the inner bottom 26 of the inner frame and the other end of which is a widened free end. The knob 29 functions as an operating piece to be grasped in order to remove the inner frame when using the cosmetic, and also functions to press the inner frame 2 against the cup 1 in the sealed state.
The knob 29 has a size that allows it to be pinched and a length that allows it to come into contact with the seal film and be in a lying state. The knob 29 has elasticity, and can change from a lying state to an upright state, exerting a pressing force and changing into a state that is easy to pinch.

The engagement between the inner frame and the cup will be described with reference to Fig. 4. Fig. 4 shows a state in which the inner frame 2 is engaged with the upper part of the peripheral wall 11 of the cup 1.
The upper part of the peripheral wall 11 of the cup 1 is provided with a receiving step 14 on the inside, and the peripheral wall 11 extends upward from the receiving step 14 and then extends outward and is folded back to form a cup engaging part 12. The upper end part of the inner frame side wall 21 of the inner frame 2 is formed with an edge part 22 that spreads outward, and the edge part 22 rests on the receiving step 14.
The knob 29 provided on the middle frame 2 is shown in two states: an upright knob state 29a and a laid-down knob state 29b.

Height levels relating to the engagement state of the inner frame 2 and the cup 1 are indicated by L1 to L5. L1 to L5 are the inner bottom level L1 of the inner frame 2, the receiving step level L2, the inner frame edge upper surface level L3, the cup edge upper surface level L4, and the knob standing level L5.
The edge upper surface level L3 of the inner frame edge upper surface 22a is located at a position lower by edge depth Δs1 from the cup edge upper surface level L4 of the cup edge upper surface portion 13. The cup edge upper surface level L4 is also the height of the seal film.
This edge depth Δs1 corresponds to the gap with the sealed seal film, and since the edge 22 of the inner frame 2 does not come into contact with the seal film when the seal film is heat-sealed, the edge 22 does not erroneously adhere to the seal film.

In a free state, the knob 29 has an upper end at the knob standing level L5. When the sealing film is sealed, the knob 29 is pressed by the sealing film and is in a pinched down state 29b with its upper end located at the cup rim upper surface level L4. The difference between the knob standing level L5 and the cup rim upper surface level L4 is the fallen width Δs2. The knob 29 has elasticity and exerts a restoring force of this fallen width Δs2, which presses the edge lower surface 22b of the edge 22 of the middle frame 2 against the receiving step 14 of the cup 1. This pressing force makes the middle frame 2 in close contact with the cup 1 and stabilizes it, and even if the cup 1 tilts, it is possible to prevent the contents 5 from leaking out from between the edge 22 of the middle frame 2 and the receiving step 14 of the cup 1.
Furthermore, by providing the edge depth Δs1, the inner frame will not come off when the seal film is peeled off. Furthermore, by providing the edge depth Δs1 without engaging the edge 22 of the inner frame 2 on the cup edge upper surface 13, the space between the inner bottom level L1 of the inner frame 2 and the cup edge upper surface level L4 can be used to store a spatula, and the knob 29 can be made longer. The space created by the inner bottom level L1 and the cup edge upper surface level L4 is maintained even when the cup-shaped refill container 10 is stored in the outer container, so the same effect can be achieved with the cosmetic container 100.

The spatula 4 is manufactured to a size that can be stored in the inner frame, and with ease of use in mind. For example, the spatula proposed in Patent Document 3 can be used, but the space for storing the spatula can be made larger, so the capacity of the scooping surface can be increased, or the handle can be designed with a special design.

In addition, in Patent Document 2, the convex shape 32 of the flange portion 32 on the edge of the inner lid 30 (corresponding to the "middle frame" of the present invention) and the convex shape 25 of the main body 20 (corresponding to the "cup" of the present invention) are set to the same height, and the sealing material 40 is pressed against both convex shapes, so that the inner lid comes off at the same time as the sealing material 40 is peeled off, and the rising part of the tab 33 is made 1/3 to 2/3 thin to make it easier to collapse along the underside of the seal. The tab will stand up when the sealing material is peeled off, but it is not anticipated that the return force that changes from lying down to standing up will be used to press the inner lid against the main body. An engagement structure that combines recesses, etc. is used to prevent leakage of the contents.

On the other hand, the cup-shaped refill container 10 shown in this embodiment engages the inner frame 2 lowered from the upper end of the opening of the cup 1, so that the inner frame does not come off when the sealing film is peeled off, and the gap between the bottom of the inner frame 2 and the upper end of the side wall of the cup 1 can be increased, and the elastic force of the knob is used to ensure adhesion between the inner frame and the cup, preventing leakage of the contents, while also allowing the knob to be made larger, improving the design freedom of the spatula. The cup-shaped refill container of the present invention can prevent leakage of the contents even if its posture is disturbed during distribution such as transportation or display, and cream on the underside of the inner frame does not soil the surroundings when the seal is removed to start using it.

A recess is provided on the front side of one end of the main body, a curved scooping portion 41 is provided on the back side, and the other end serves as a gripping portion 42. Several rows of protrusions 43 are provided on the front and back sides of the gripping portion 42 to prevent slipping. A recess 44 is provided on the back side of the center of the main body to make it easier for the fingers to grip. This recess 44, combined with the recess of the spatula receiving portion 28 of the middle frame, makes it easy to remove the spatula 4.

The cosmetic container 100 is composed of a container body 61 and a lid 62 .
The container body 61 has a space therein for storing the cup 1. The lid 62 has a flat packing 63 on the inner surface. The engagement portion 12 of the cup 1, which is formed with a fold, is engaged with the opening of the outer container to store the cup-shaped refill container 10. The sealing film can be peeled off before or after storage in the container body 61. Even if the sealing film is peeled off, the inner frame 2 will not come off with it. Even if cream or the like is attached to the underside of the inner frame 2, it will not come off and stain clothes, etc.
A packing 63 provided on the inner surface of the lid 62 comes into close contact with the upper surface of the cup rim of the cup 1 and presses the knob 29, so that the inner frame 2 comes into close contact with the cup 1.
In this embodiment, the container body 61 and the lid 62 are shown to have a screw-on structure, but the present invention is not limited to this structure as long as they have a structure that can be firmly engaged.
