Description

The present invention relates to a washstand suitable for use by, for example, children in kindergarten.

Washbasins, where people wash their hands and faces, are generally made of hard materials, so if a person's body comes into contact with or hits the front edge of the washbasin or the cabinet below it, they may be injured.

In particular, when used by children, for example, there is a possibility that not only the hands and face but also various parts of the body may come into contact or collide, so care must be taken.

Patent Document 1 discloses a washbasin in which a soft member such as a urethane material is attached to the front of the fascia panel that is disposed at the lower front edge of the washbasin, providing a soft feel when used.

However, the washbasin disclosed in Patent Document 1 is intended to provide a gentle feel when used, and is not intended to prevent injury.

Moreover, since washbasins and cabinets other than soft materials are made of hard materials, these soft materials cannot prevent injuries caused by contact with or collisions with the washbasin, and are not suitable for use by children, etc. Further measures are required.

The present invention was made based on the above circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a washstand that can absorb shock and prevent injuries even if children come into contact with or collide with it.

In order to solve the above problems, the first invention of the present application includes a wash basin and a table on which the wash basin is placed, and the wash basin and the table are entirely made of a soft member. The material is polyurethane .

It is preferable that the washbasin and the stand are configured so that the underside of the washbasin fits into the upper side of the stand.

The washbasin and the stand each have a front surface and both side surfaces, and it is preferable that the front surface of the washbasin and the front surface of the stand, and both side surfaces of the washbasin and the both side surfaces of the stand are formed flush with each other.

<First embodiment>
Hereinafter, a first embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

1 and 2 show a wash basin 1 according to a first embodiment.

This washstand 1 includes a washbasin 2 whose outer shape in horizontal cross section is approximately rectangular, and a mounting table 3 , and the washbasin 2 is placed on the mounting table 3 .

The front surface 2a of the washbasin 2 and the front surface 3a of the stand 3, and both side surfaces 2b, 2b of the washbasin 2 and both side surfaces 3b, 3b of the stand 3 are formed flush with each other.

Note that the washstand 1 is formed to have a height of about 40 cm, a depth of 40 cm, and a width of about 40 cm, for example, for use by kindergarteners.

Further, a faucet 4 is provided on the back side of the upper surface 2c of the washbasin 2 of the washbasin 1, and a recess 5 for washing is formed in the front side of the faucet 4.

A drain port 6 is provided at the bottom of the recess 5.

A pair of receiving parts 7, 7 for receiving the mounting table 3 are integrally provided at the inner upper portions of both side surfaces of the mounting table 3.

The receiving portions 7, 7 are formed in a convex shape that protrudes inward from the inside of both side portions and extends horizontally from the front to the back.

In addition, reinforcing parts 8, 8 are provided horizontally at the inner lower end of both sides of the mounting table 3, protruding inward.

Furthermore, a drainage pipe 9 connected to the drainage port 6 is provided in the U-shaped space of the fitting portion 12 .

Further, a recess 10 that opens downward and to the back is formed on the rear lower surface of the washbasin 2, and a water pipe 11 connected to the faucet 4 is provided in the recess 10.

The washbasin 2 and the mounting table 3 configured in this manner are entirely made of a soft material such as urethane foam. That is, it is formed, for example, by mold coat foam molding of polyurethane.

According to the above configuration, even if children or the like come into contact with or collide with each other, the impact can be absorbed and injury can be prevented.

<Second embodiment>
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 4 and 5.

In the first embodiment, the washbasin 2 and the stand 3 are made of soft materials, but in this embodiment, the washbasin 2 and the stand 3 are made of hard materials, and the washbasin 2 is covered with a washbasin cover 31, and the stand 3 is covered with a stand cover 32.

The shape, arrangement, and other configurations of the washbasin 2 and the stand 3 are not particularly limited, but as they are configured similarly to the first embodiment, they are given the same reference numerals and will not be described.

The washbasin cover 31 and the stand cover 32 are made of soft materials such as urethane material or elastic materials.

The washbasin cover 31 has a top surface 31a, a front surface 31b, a rear surface 31c, and both side surfaces 31d, 31d, which are integrally formed. Therefore, the bottom surface is open.

An opening 33 corresponding to the recess 5 of the washbasin 2 and the faucet 4 is formed on the upper surface 31a of the washbasin cover 31.

In the second embodiment described above, the washbasin cover 31 has an opening 33 on the upper surface 31a corresponding to the recess 5 of the washbasin 2 and the faucet 4, but in this embodiment, as shown in Figures 8 and 9, the washbasin cover 31 has a recess cover portion 61 that covers the recess 5 of the washbasin 2, and is configured to have an opening 62 corresponding to the faucet 4 and an opening 63 corresponding to the drain 6.

With this configuration, injuries caused by the recess 5 can also be prevented.

<Fifth embodiment>
Next, a fifth embodiment of the present invention will be described.

In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 10, instead of the opening 62 of the fourth embodiment described above, a notch 71 that opens at the rear end of the washbasin cover 31 is provided.

By configuring it in this manner, the washbasin cover 31 can be easily attached.
In addition, in the above first to fourth embodiments, a faucet cover may be provided to cover the faucet 4, and the faucet 4 may be made of a soft material.

Further, in each of the above-described embodiments, a urethane material is used as the soft member, but an elastic material may be used instead of the urethane material, and in short, the material is limited as long as it can prevent injuries. There isn't.

Furthermore, since urethane material does not drain water easily, it is preferable to treat the entire washbasin with water repellent treatment to improve water drainage.

Furthermore, in the above-described embodiment, the washbasin cover was configured to cover the front surface, both sides, and the top surface of the washbasin, and the mounting table cover was configured to cover the front surface and both sides of the mounting table. The present invention is not limited to this, and the washbasin cover may be configured to cover at least the front surface of the washbasin, and the platform cover may be configured to cover at least the front surface of the platform.
