Description

The present invention relates to cosmetic mask packaging articles including containers.

The cosmetic mask is intended in particular to support a cosmetic product, preferably for make-up, coloring or care.

Cosmetic products are more generally products as defined in Regulation No. 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products.

Cosmetic masks generally include a base sheet, usually made of non-woven fabric, impregnated with lotion, extract, etc. The cosmetic mask is used for cosmetic treatments of the skin, in particular of the face. Such sheets are usually available in packaging containing only one sheet, which is folded into a bag or pouch. The packaging is made of aluminum foil or the like.

However, such packaging has drawbacks from an environmental impact point of view. Indeed, packaging a single cosmetic mask in individual packages creates waste, both in terms of the materials used for the packaging and in terms of the extraction liquid or manufacturing used.

A partial solution to such environmental drawbacks is provided, for example, by US Pat. This document discloses a pack containing a plurality of cosmetic masks connected to each other by notched connections. When the user wants to use the cosmetic mask, the user opens the package, grabs the mask, and separates it from the mask remaining in the package by tearing off the connections.

However, such packaging still presents drawbacks. In fact, when beauty masks are taken out of their packaging, they are not sufficiently immersed in the extracting liquid. This is disadvantageous for the user, as the effectiveness of the cosmetic treatment may be reduced due to the lack of extract. Therefore, in beauty treatments, the more impregnated the mask, the more effective it is.

The aim of the present invention is to provide a cosmetic mask packaging article that is more environmentally friendly and more effective for the user than current individual packaging.

The above object of the invention is that the container defines a continuous internal volume for receiving a plurality of cosmetic masks, the container being initially sealed to enable individual withdrawal of the cosmetic masks from the internal volume. This can be accomplished by a cosmetic mask packaging article of the type described above, defining an opening that is closed, the cosmetic mask being impregnated with juice, and each cosmetic mask being rolled up.

Packing multiple masks, each rolled, into a single volume packaging allows for deeper immersion of the masks in the extraction liquid while greatly limiting waste.

In some embodiments, the container includes a holder that holds a rolled up cosmetic mask.

The holder keeps the mask straight within the packaging and makes it easier to hold. The holder serves to allow immersion of the mask in the extraction liquid.

A first packaging article 10 according to the invention is schematically illustrated in FIGS. 1-3. The first packaging article comprises a number of cosmetic masks 12, here up to five cosmetic masks 12, a container 14 for storing the cosmetic masks 12, and a holder 16.

When stored within container 14, cosmetic mask 12 is rolled up. The mask 12 supports and/or contains cosmetic products, in particular cosmetic products for make-up, coloring or care. For example, the cosmetic product is a liquid juice.

When rolled, the cosmetic mask 12 has a cylindrical shape. The height of such a cylinder is generally configured between 80 mm and 120 mm, and the diameter of the cylinder is advantageously configured between 3 mm and 15 mm.

The illustrated container 14 is here an outer enclosure 20. For example, the enclosure 20 has a rectangular shape.

The enclosure 20 is made of metallized film or of metal, for example. An example of a film is a film comprising a sandwich of impermeable layers between a polyethylene terephthalate layer and a polyolefin layer.

For example, the film may include an assembly of polyethylene terephthalate, metal (such as aluminum), low density polyethylene (eg, having a thickness of 40 μm to 60 μm).

Enclosure 20 defines a single continuous interior volume 22 that receives holder 16 and a plurality of cosmetic masks 12 . The enclosure 20 shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 advantageously includes at least one cutout 24, here two cutouts 24, and a zipper 26.

The internal volume 22 is larger than 130 cm ³ and in particular consists of between 100 cm ³ and 250 cm ³ . The internal volume can contain all of the cosmetic masks 12 of the plurality of cosmetic masks 12 and the cosmetic product with which the masks 12 are impregnated.

Two cutouts 24 are provided in the top 28 of the enclosure 20. They are opposite each other and are provided on both sides 30, 31 of the enclosure 20. The two cutouts 24 make it easier for the user to open the packaging article 10 the first time the packaging article is used. Zipper 26 extends laterally across enclosure 20 to opposite sides 30, 31 thereof. This avoids the cosmetic product supported by the cosmetic mask 12 from drying out and/or from the cosmetic mask 12 deteriorating. In other embodiments, enclosure 20 includes a single cutout 24.

In the example of FIGS. 2 and 3, the holder 16 includes a ruler 32 extending in particular along the longitudinal axis. The ruler 32 includes a top surface 34 provided with a plurality of primary through holes 36 and secondary through holes 38, here extending through the ruler 32 from the bottom surface to the top surface. The holder further includes at least one anti-rotation bar 40.

For example, the holder 16 shown in FIG. 3 includes five primary holes 36, eight secondary holes 38, and two anti-rotation bars 40.

The primary hole 36 is suitable for accommodating the cosmetic mask 12 once it has been rolled up. They are circular in shape and their diameter complements the diameter of the rolled beauty mask 12. The cross-sectional area of the primary hole 36 is comprised between 130 mm ² and 300 mm ² .

When inserted into the primary hole 36, the cosmetic mask 12 has a free area 42 located within the internal volume 22 that protrudes from the top surface 34 of the ruler 32 and is accessible through the opening of the enclosure 20. have By capturing the free area 42, the user can remove the cosmetic mask 12 from its container 14.

The free area 42 has a height which is advantageously comprised between 30% and 70% of the height of the cosmetic mask.

In this example, the secondary hole 38 has a triangular cross section. Additionally, secondary holes 38 appear within the top surface 34 and the bottom surface. They allow the cosmetic product contained within the enclosure 20 to be spread evenly over the enclosure 20. Therefore, the cosmetic mask 12 is well impregnated with the extract within the enclosure 20.

As shown in FIG. 3, the secondary hole 38 has a smaller cross-sectional area than the cross-sectional area of the primary hole 36.

Each anti-rotation bar 40 projects from the top surface 34 of the holder 16 toward the opening of the container 14, transversely to the longitudinal axis of the holder 16. The anti-rotation bar 40 prevents the holder 16 from tipping over within the interior volume 22 of the enclosure 20.

Here, the manufacturing process of the packaging article 10 mentioned above will be explained.

Each cosmetic mask 12 is initially prepared from an unfolded cosmetic mask 12, an example of which is shown in FIG. The mask 12 includes a central sheet, here having a circular shape, with two ears 120 projecting from the central sheet in opposite directions with respect to the central central axis B-B'.

The unfolded mask 12 further includes two holes 121 for the eyes on the top 123 of the mask 12. It also advantageously includes, on the lower part 124 of the mask 12, one hole 122 for the mouth and a cutout 125 for the user's nose.

The filling volume of the extract liquid is, for example, comprised between 30% and 70% of the internal volume 22.

The zipper 26 is then closed and the top 28 of the enclosure 20 is sealed. Finally, two cutouts 24 are provided in the top 28 of the metal enclosure 20.

Here, a method of applying the beauty mask 12 stored in the packaging article 10 described above to the body surface will be explained.

First, a packaging article 10 as described above is provided. The packaging article includes a plurality of cosmetic masks 12, a holder 16, and an enclosure 20.

The user then opens the enclosure 20 thanks to the cutout 24 and unseals the opening.

Thereafter, the rolled beauty mask 12 is extracted from the inner volume 22 by the user. In particular, the user captures the free end 42 of the cosmetic mask 12 and removes the cosmetic mask from the enclosure 20.

The user then closes enclosure 20 by closing zipper 26.

The user then unfolds the cosmetic mask 12. Deployment of the mask 12 is performed by pulling the two ears 120 in opposite directions. At the end of the deployment, the mask 12 is flat and ready to be applied onto the user's body surface.

Finally, the user applies the unfolded mask 12 onto the body surface.

The packaging article 10 shown in FIG. 4 is similar to that shown in FIGS. 1 to 3 in that it may contain more cosmetic masks 12, in particular ten cosmetic masks 12. different from others.

The container 14 used to store the plurality of cosmetic masks is a plastic box 50.
