Conventionally, as a technique for processing the edges of fabrics constituting clothing, for example, an open edge, there is known a technique of adhering and fixing the edges of fabric folded in two with an adhesive tape. For example, Patent Literature 1 proposes a related technique in which a hot-melt sheet is adhered to fold the outer fabric such as the hem of a swimsuit.
On the other hand, as a technique for joining a plurality of fabrics that make up clothing, there is known a technology that joins fabrics that make up clothing using an adhesive applied in dots. For example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2002-200001 proposes a technique of bonding the body and sleeves of an undershirt by using an adhesive that is repeatedly provided in dots.

In a garment using stretchable fabric, if the edge of the fabric at the opening is folded in two and joined with a dot-like adhesive, the opening stretches greatly when worn, and the edge of the opening undulates, that is, so-called stretch drooping, which may deteriorate the appearance.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a garment capable of preventing stretching and drooping due to wearing and reducing deterioration in appearance even when the edge of the fabric is folded in two at an opening and fixed using a dot-like adhesive.

In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the objects, a garment according to the present invention is made of stretchable fabric and has an opening through which the human body part of the wearer passes, wherein the opening has a structure in which the edge of the fabric is folded in two, and the edge of the fabric and the main body of the fabric are fixed by a dot-like adhesive attached in a single row or in a double row along the edge of the fabric, and the row of adhesive attached to the edge of the fabric is 2 mm from the edge of the fabric. The dot-shaped adhesive applied within and on the same row has a densely adjacent portion and a sparsely adjacent portion, and the densely adjacent portions of the dot-shaped adhesive are arranged symmetrically with respect to the center line of the body.

When the folding lines 12 of the openings 2, 3, 4 and the adhesive 11 are close to each other, when the folded ends of the openings 2, 3, 4 are stretched, the continuously attached dot-like adhesive 11 develops a hit, and the edges of the openings 2, 3, 4 become uneven to make the appearance worse. Accordingly, it is preferable that the adhesive 11 is attached at a distance of 0.5 mm or more from the position of the folding line 12 which is the end of the opening. The dot-shaped adhesive 11 has different preferable sizes depending on the texture and thickness of the cloth forming the garment 1 . If the dots have a diameter of about 1.0 to 2.0 mm, it is easy to obtain relatively strong adhesive strength, but if the fabric is thin, it may bleed out to the front side of the fabric and be conspicuous, and the appearance may be impaired. If the adhesive 11 has a diameter of 1.0 mm or less, it is preferable because the adhesive 11 hardly seeps out even when the thickness of the inner fabric is about 0.5 to 0.8 mm. Furthermore, if the adhesive has a diameter of 0.6 mm or less, it is preferable because the oozing out is less noticeable even with thinner fabrics having a thickness of about 0.3 to 0.5 mm. When the diameter (d2) of the adhesive 11 is reduced and the bonding strength is reduced, the arrangement interval (d3) of the adhesive 11 can be decreased to reinforce the bonding strength. The dot-shaped adhesive 11 has a circular shape in the first embodiment, but is not limited to this. The resin constituting the adhesive 11 is preferably a synthetic resin rather than a natural resin, more preferably a thermoplastic resin. For example, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, polystyrene, polyvinyl acetate, polyurethane, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyacrylic, polyamide, polyacetal, polycarbonate, polyphenylene ether, polyester, polyphenylene sulfide, polysulfone, polyether sulfone, polyether ether ketone, polyimide, polyamide imide, etc., as long as they are composed of high molecular compounds, and various ones can be used.

A preferred hardness of the resin constituting the adhesive 11 is a durometer D hardness of 10 to 90, more preferably 10 to 60, measured according to the durometer hardness test method for plastics described in "JIS K 7215, 1986".

The specific gravity of the resin constituting the adhesive 11 is preferably 1.00 to 1.30, more preferably 1.10 to 1.20, as measured according to the method for measuring the specific gravity of plastics described in "JIS K 7112, 1999".

The resin forming the adhesive 11 is preferably reactive hot melt. When the resin is a reactive hot-melt, the resin softens or melts and penetrates between the structures of the bonding sites, and after cooling and solidifying, cross-linking proceeds by reacting with ambient moisture to form an adhesive structure excellent in heat resistance and solvent resistance.

The clothing 1 is made of elastic fabric. For example, the fabric used for the garment 1 is not limited as long as it is a knitted material that is provided as a general clothing material, such as circular knitting, warp knitting, etc., and has the necessary elasticity for carrying out the invention.
