Description
The present invention relates to a structure for reducing the rotational resistance that gears receive from oil in a transaxle.
Conventionally, in the structure of a transaxle, wings are attached to rotating members (gears, shafts, etc.) or gears are used to scoop up oil in order to splash and lubricate the oil. On the other hand, when the amount of lubricating oil in the transaxle is large, the oil stirring torque becomes large, resulting in torque loss. In order to solve the problem of increased oil agitation torque, for example,
However, it has been pointed out that it is necessary to add extra parts or provide a partition to store the oil, which increases the cost. Moreover, if an oil pump or the like is provided to return the stored oil back into the transaxle, there is a problem that the cost will increase further.
Therefore, the present invention provides a transaxle that can contribute to improvement in energy efficiency such as electric power consumption and fuel consumption by lowering the oil level in the transaxle and suppressing an increase in oil stirring torque while suppressing costs. intended to provide.
Here, in the transaxle, a space (a differential area) accommodating a differential ring gear and a space (a primary reduction area) accommodating a primary reduction mechanism such as an input-side gear and an output-side gear are interconnected. A vertical layout that allows oil to come and go is provided. In such a transaxle, oil is sent to the primary reduction mechanism side (primary reduction area) due to the rotation of the differential ring gear, and the amount of oil in the primary reduction area, which is the high rotation side, increases, resulting in torque loss due to oil stirring torque. There is a technical problem of getting bigger.
When the inventors of the present invention examined the structure for solving the above-mentioned problems, it was found that if a structure for temporarily storing oil scraped up by a rotating member such as a gear is provided, it would be possible to stir when the rotating member rotates. We have come to the knowledge that it is possible to reduce the amount of oil used to reduce the no-load loss torque.
A transaxle of the present invention provided based on the above findings includes a transaxle housing containing oil, at least one rotating member, and a rotating member directed to the side of the transaxle housing as the rotating member rotates. An oil catch portion that receives the scraped oil, a storage space portion that allows the oil reaching the oil catch portion to flow in, and a first oil guide portion that guides the oil from the oil catch portion to the storage space portion. It is characterized by having
According to the transaxle of the present invention, the oil scooped up by the rotating member can be received by the oil catch portion and then temporarily stored in the storage space portion. As a result, the transaxle of the present invention can lower the oil level inside the transaxle. As a result, the transaxle of the present invention can reduce the oil stirring torque and suppress the torque loss from increasing, and can contribute to the improvement of energy efficiency (electricity consumption and fuel consumption) while suppressing the cost. .
A transaxle of the present invention provided based on the above knowledge includes a transaxle housing containing oil, at least one rotating member, and a rearward portion of a vehicle as the rotating member rotates. It is characterized by having a recess for receiving oil, a storage space into which the oil that has reached the recess flows, and a second oil guide portion for guiding the oil from the recess to the storage space.
According to the transaxle of the present invention, the oil scooped up by the rotating member can be received by the recess and temporarily stored in the storage space. As a result, the transaxle of the present invention can lower the oil level inside the transaxle. As a result, the transaxle of the present invention can reduce the oil stirring torque and suppress the torque loss from increasing, and can contribute to the improvement of energy efficiency (electricity consumption and fuel consumption) while suppressing the cost. .
In the transaxle of the present invention, the storage space may be provided adjacent to the drive source.
According to the above configuration, the oil is quickly warmed by the heat of the driving source (for example, the electric motor). As a result, the transaxle of the present invention can improve energy efficiency (electricity consumption and fuel consumption) more efficiently.
In the transaxle of the present invention, it is preferable that the storage space portion is provided with an outflow side oil guide portion for causing oil to flow out to the internal space of the transaxle housing.
According to the above configuration, an oil path for circulating oil can be formed with a simple configuration without providing an oil pump or the like. In addition, it is possible to solve the two conflicting problems of reducing the no-load loss torque due to the lowering of the oil level and supplying sufficient oil to the bearings, etc., without providing a new part such as an oil pump.
Also, in the transaxle of the present invention, the outflow-side oil guide portion may be provided in the vicinity of a bearing that supports the rotating member.
According to the above configuration, the bearing can be lubricated when the oil is returned to the inside of the housing.
Further, the transaxle of the present invention includes an input side gear, an output side gear, and a gear housing accommodating at least a portion of the input side gear and at least a portion of the output side gear as the rotating members. , the recess may be provided as a recess formed in the gear housing.
According to the above configuration, it is possible to use the recessed portions formed in the gear housing that accommodates the input side gear and the output side gear as recesses. Therefore, it is possible to reduce the oil level in the transaxle by utilizing an existing part (gear housing) without the need to provide a separate oil catch as a structure for receiving oil. As a result, higher cost reduction can be achieved.
According to the present invention, there is provided a transaxle that can contribute to improvement of energy efficiency such as electricity consumption and fuel consumption by lowering the oil level in the transaxle and suppressing an increase in oil stirring torque while suppressing costs. can provide.
A
As shown in FIG. 1, a
In the
In the following description, the front-rear direction of the vehicle V may be simply referred to as "the front-rear direction X" (or the axial direction X).
Further, in the front-rear direction X of the vehicle V, the front is sometimes simply described as "front Fr" and the rear is simply described as "rear Rr". Furthermore, in the vertical direction H of the vehicle V, the upward direction may be simply described as “upper Up” and the downward direction as simply “downward Lw”.
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The input-side gear 46 (rotating member) is a gear arranged so that the axis L1 is along the longitudinal direction X of the vehicle V. As shown in FIG. The input-
The output side gear 50 (rotating member) is arranged so as to mesh with the
The input-
The
As shown in FIG. 1 , the
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
As shown in FIG. 1 , the
As shown in FIG. 6, the
As shown in FIG. 1, the primary
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3 , the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the
From another point of view, the
Here, as shown in FIG. 3, when the input-
Further, by providing the
As shown in FIG. 2 , an oil hole 29 (first oil guide portion) that is a through hole is provided on the rear Rr side of the
The
The
As shown in FIG. 4( a ), the
As shown in FIG. 5, the internal space of the gear housing 30 (mainly the internal space of the gear housing portion 32) is hollow, and a spacer-side space portion 36 (storage space portion) is defined as a partitioned space. formed. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the
The output-side
凹部34は、前後方向X(入力側ギア46や出力側ギア50の軸線方向)に沿って形成されている。
As shown in FIG. 4( a ), a
As shown in FIG. 4A , the
Further, as shown in FIG. 4A, a
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the
<Oil flow in the transaxle>
Next, the oil flow within the
As described above, the vehicle V has a so-called vertical layout, and the
Further, when the
In a vehicle V that has a vertical layout and in which the
The
As shown in FIG. 5 , the oil scooped up by the rotation of the
Further, as shown in FIG. 3 , when the
In this manner, when the
The
Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the oil stored in the spacer-
In this manner, the
Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 6 , the spacer-side space 36 (gear housing 30 ) of the
In this way, the
As described above, the
