Claims (20)

前記次の時点における前記コンテンツ置換の実行を容易にするために前記メディアクライアントが前記新規コンテンツの取得プロセスを開始すべき前倒し時点をスケジュールするステップであって、ここで、前記前倒し時点をスケジュールするステップは、コンテンツ取得期間を決定することと、少なくとも前記決定されたコンテンツ取得期間だけ前記次の時点よりも早くなるように前記前倒し時点を設定することとを含むステップと、
前記前倒し時点において、前記メディアクライアントが前記新規コンテンツの前記取得プロセスを開始するステップと、
前記次の時点において、前記メディアクライアントが前記取得された新規コンテンツを使用して前記コンテンツ置換を実行するステップであって、ここで、前記コンテンツ置換を実行するステップは、前記コンテンツ置換の開始時にブラックフレームを追加すること及び/又は前記新規コンテンツに置換されるコンテンツの最後にフェードアウトを追加することを含むステップと、
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記コンテンツ取得期間を決定するステップは、過去のコンテンツ取得期間の事例に基づいて前記コンテンツ取得期間を予測するステップを含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記予測を容易にするためにコンテンツ取得期間を追跡するステップをさらに含む、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 過去のコンテンツ取得期間の事例に基づいて前記コンテンツ取得期間を予測するステップは、
前記新規コンテンツの取得に関連する少なくとも1つの動作要因の状態を決定するステップと、

を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの動作要因は、コンテンツソース、プロセッサ負荷、メモリ負荷、ネットワーク速度及び時刻から成る群から選択される少なくとも1つの要因を含む、

前記次の時点における前記コンテンツ置換の実行を容易にするために前記メディアクライアントが前記新規コンテンツの取得プロセスを開始すべき前倒し時点を設定することであって、ここで、前記前倒し時点を設定することは、コンテンツ取得期間を決定することと、少なくとも前記決定されたコンテンツ取得期間だけ前記次の時点よりも早くなるように前記前倒し時点を設定することとを含むことと、
前記前倒し時点において、前記新規コンテンツの前記取得プロセスを開始することと、
前記次の時点において、前記取得された新規コンテンツを使用して前記コンテンツ置換を実行することとであって、ここで、前記コンテンツ置換を実行することは、前記コンテンツ置換の開始時にブラックフレームを追加すること及び/又は前記新規コンテンツに置換されるコンテンツの最後にフェードアウトを追加することを含むことと、

前記前倒し時点において、前記新規コンテンツの前記取得プロセスを前記クライアントに開始させることと、
