Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a tipped saw for mowing, which is attached to a brush cutter and used for mowing weeds and miscellaneous trees (such as plants).

Conventional tipped saws for mowing grass are disclosed in, for example, Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2. The brush cutter tipped saw disclosed in Patent Document 1 has serrated blades formed at regular intervals on the outer peripheral edge of the base metal, and the edges of these blades opposed to each other in the direction of rotation are provided with thicker blades than the base metal. A hard tip is fixed, and a recessed blade chamber is provided between the adjacent blades, the deepest position of which is deeper than the deepest position of the tip-fixing portion of the blade.

In addition, the mowing tipped saw of Patent Document 2 is formed by forming the outer peripheral edge between the adjacent tip fixing parts of the base metal into a straight line or a gentle curve continuous line that is not deeper than the deepest position of the tip fixing part. , which eliminates the deep recessed blade chamber formed between the blade portions (between the tip fixing portions) described in Patent Document 1 mentioned above.

Japanese Patent No. 3845847

However, in the tipped saw of Patent Document 1, since a recessed blade chamber having a depth is formed in front of each tip in the rotation direction, during mowing (mowing) work, the inside of the blade chamber can be cut off from the ground. Foreign objects such as pebbles and wires left on the ground can easily enter, and there is a risk that these foreign objects will be bounced off (scattered) by the rotational force of the tipped saw.

In particular, in the case of brush cutters with chip saws, the engine side of the brush cutter has a centrifugal clutch, and the engine is operating when the cutting edge of the chip saw bites into the ground or when plants, etc. get entangled in the chip saw. The rotation of the tipped saw stops. In such a case, the blade chamber of the tipped saw catches foreign matter, and the foreign matter in the blade chamber tends to scatter due to the rotational force of the tipped saw, making it extremely difficult to reduce the scattering of foreign matter.

On the other hand, in the tipped saw of Patent Document 2, the outer periphery of the base metal between adjacent chips is formed in a straight line or a gently curved shape, and is recessed toward the center position of the base metal as shown in Patent Document 1. Since there is no blade chamber, the probability of holding foreign matter between the chips is low, and scattering of the foreign matter can be reduced.

However, in the case of this tipped saw, if the tip of the tip is worn away by, for example, more than half after being used for a predetermined period of time, the tip relief angle of the tip is lost and the sharpness of the tipped saw becomes dull or worse. If the tip is in good condition without falling off or chipping, it may be desired to re-grind the blade (the tip itself or the blade chamber formed by the outer peripheral edge of the blade between the tips). Re-sharpening in such a case requires grinding the tip clearance angle and the blade chamber part of the base metal. is.

In addition, if the tip is not chipped, the user may increase the number of rotations of the tipped saw and continue to use it until the tip falls off or is damaged even if the sharpness becomes poor, which is preferable from the viewpoint of work safety. do not have. In other words, the tipped saw of Patent Document 2 can reduce the scattering of foreign matter such as pebbles, but it is difficult to sufficiently reduce the entanglement of foreign matter such as wires with the tip or the like, and the tip or the like needs to be re-polished. It is difficult to ensure good sharpness over a long period of time even at low rotation speeds.

The present invention has been made in view of such circumstances, and its object is to sufficiently reduce the scattering of foreign matter by suppressing the entry of foreign matter into the blade chamber even when the number of revolutions is reduced, and at the same time, To provide a tipped saw for mowing grass, which can be re-sharpened, etc., and can maintain good sharpness over a long period of time.

In order to achieve this object, according to the first aspect of the present invention, chip fixing portions are formed at regular intervals on the outer peripheral edge of a disk-shaped base metal, and chips are attached to the chip fixing portions. In a grass-cutting tipped saw that is fixed to each other, the outer peripheral edge of the blade portion between the tips adjacent to each other in the rotation direction of the base metal is positioned on the outer peripheral side from the deepest position of the tip fixing portion, and the outer peripheral edge of the blade portion is positioned. a limiting blade whose tip is set lower than the tip of the tip by a predetermined dimension; a slit of a given depth formed on the rear side of the limiting blade in the rotational direction; The slit has a first edge connecting the low position and a second edge connecting the rear end of the first edge and a substantially middle position of the scooping surface of the tip on the rear side in the rotational direction. and a blade chamber formed between the rear end of the and the tip on the rear side in the rotational direction .

In the invention according to claim 2, the limiting blade and the slit are formed in a connected state, and they are formed at an intermediate position of the outer peripheral edge of the blade portion or near the tip on the rear side in the rotational direction. It is characterized by At this time, it is preferable that the limiting edge has an inclined surface on the front side thereof and is set in a shape that can be worn according to the wear of the tip.

Further, the invention according to claim 4 is characterized in that the slit is formed in a substantially linear shape longer than the length of the tip and directed toward the tip on the rear side in the rotation direction. In this case , the length of the slit is set to twice or less than the length of the tip, and a large-diameter portion wider than the width of the slit is provided at the bottom of the slit. preferably.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the outer peripheral edge of the blade between adjacent tips is positioned on the outer peripheral side of the deepest position of the tip fixing portion, and the tip of the tip is positioned on the outer peripheral edge of the tip. The limit blade is set lower than the tip by a predetermined dimension, and a slit of a predetermined depth is formed on the rear side of the limit blade in the rotation direction. It is possible to sufficiently reduce the scattering of foreign matter by suppressing foreign matter from being held between adjacent chips when the number of rotations is reduced, and to suppress the falling off and breakage of chips, as well as the recycling of chips. It is possible to sharpen the tipped saw and maintain good sharpness for a long period of time.

Between the slit and the tip on the rear side, there is provided a first edge connecting the rear end of the slit and a position lower than the tip of the limiting blade by a predetermined dimension, and the rear end of the first edge and the tip on the rear side in the rotation direction. Since a blade chamber having a second edge connecting approximately the middle position of the length dimension of the scooping surface is formed, the depth (size) of the blade chamber formed in front of the chip is optimized to the minimum necessary The shape can be set, and the sharpening operation when re-sharpening the tip and the outer peripheral edge of the cutting edge can be performed more easily, and the life of the tipped saw itself can be further extended .

According to the invention of claim 2, in addition to the effect of the invention of claim 1, the limiting blade and the slit are formed in a connected state, and these are positioned either at an intermediate position of the outer peripheral edge of the blade portion or at a rotating position. Since it is formed toward the tip on the backward side in the direction, entry of foreign matter into the blade chamber in front of the tip can be suppressed, and scattering of foreign matter can be further reduced .

Further, according to the third aspect of the invention, in addition to the effect of the first or second aspect of the invention, the limiting edge has a sloped surface on the front side thereof and has a shape that can be worn according to the wear of the tip. Because it is set to , it is possible to suppress the entry of foreign matter into the blade chamber on the inclined surface, and when the limit blade etc. wears due to the wear of the tip, the limit blade etc. can be easily re-sharpened to improve sharpness. It can be revived and can extend the life of the tipped saw .

According to the invention of claim 4 , in addition to the effects of the inventions of claims 1 to 3 , the slit is formed substantially linearly with a predetermined length, and is oriented toward the tip on the rear side in the rotation direction. Therefore, the slits can block base metal contraction due to heating during brazing of the tip, and the strength of the outer peripheral edge of the cutting edge (cutting edge shape) can be prevented from being lowered.

Furthermore, according to the fifth aspect of the invention, in addition to the effects of the fourth aspect of the invention, the length of the slit is less than twice the length of the chip, and the stress distribution at the deepest part is wider than the width of the slit. Since the large diameter part is provided, it can withstand the shrinkage of the base metal at the time of brazing, and the stress concentration at the bottom of the slit can be dispersed, resulting in a stable shape of the outer peripheral edge of the blade (cutting edge shape). can be easily obtained.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described in detail based on the drawings.
1 to 4 show an embodiment of a mowing tipped saw according to the present invention. FIG. 1 shows a diagram of a mowing tipped saw 1 (referred to as a tipped saw 1) of the present invention as seen from the surface side serving as the brush cutter mounting surface 2a.

As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the tipped saw 1 has a disk-shaped base metal 2 in which a plurality of lightening holes 3 of a predetermined shape are formed. A mounting hole 4 to the brush cutter is formed. The base metal 2 is provided with a large number of tip-fixing portions 5 at regular intervals on the outer peripheral edge portion 2c. are fixed by brazing.

A limiting blade 7, a slit 8, a blade chamber 9, and a recess 10 are formed in the outer peripheral edge portion 2c between a pair of adjacent front and rear tips 6 in the rotational direction a of the base metal 2. As shown in FIG. That is, as shown enlarged in FIGS. 4 and 5 , the blade portion outer peripheral edge 2c1, which is the outer peripheral edge of the outer peripheral edge portion 2c between the adjacent front tip 6 and rear tip 6, excludes the slit 8. The limiting blade 7 is located on the outer peripheral side of the deepest position 5a of the tip fixing portion 5, and the limiting blade 7 is located at a substantially intermediate position (or a rear position near the tip 6) of the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the blade portion in the rotational direction a. The slit 8 is formed integrally with the limit blade 2 itself and connected to the rear side of the limit blade 7 .

The tip 7a of the limiting blade 7 is lower than the tip 6a of the tip 6 serving as the cutting edge of the tipped saw 1 by a predetermined distance t2 toward the center position of the base metal 2. That is, the limit blade 7 in FIG. The dimension t2 is set to 1.0 mm when the cutting depth t1 is set to t1=1.5 mm so that even a slightly extreme work can be handled. Line L1 in FIG. 4 indicates an arc connecting the tip 6a of the tip 6 of the tipped saw 1 with an outer diameter φ of 230 mm at the outer diameter φ, and line L2 indicates the tip 7a of the limiting blade 7 of the tipped saw 1 with the same diameter. The distance between the tip position of the limiting edge 7 on the line L2 and the tip position of the tip 6 on the line L1 is set to be t2.

As shown in FIG. 5, the limit blade 7 has a tip 7a whose dimension w in the direction of rotation (a) is set at, for example, w=2 mm. is provided with an inclined surface 7b which is inclined by θ1=55° with respect to the center line L3 connecting the tip 6a of the tip 6 and the center position of the base metal 2. As shown in FIG. By setting the angle of the inclined surface 7b, foreign matter is prevented from entering the blade chamber 9 having a shape described later as much as possible, and the impact of the foreign matter on the tip 6 is reduced.

In FIG. 5, P1 indicates a position 8 mm from the tip 6a of the tip 6 and 1 mm from the outer circumference of the base metal 2, as indicated by a circle R8 having a radius of 8 mm centered on the tip 6a of the tip 6, and P2 is A circle R2 with a radius of 2 mm indicates a position 2 mm from the tip 6a of the tip 6, and P3 is the intersection of a circle R3 with a radius of 3 mm and a circle R8 with a radius of 8 mm - a circle R2 with a radius of 2 mm (limiting edge 7 P4 indicates a position 3 mm from the tip 6a of the scooping surface 6b of the tip 6. FIG.

Further, the tip 7a of the limiting blade 7 is set so that the distance from the tip 6a of the tip 6 is 8 mm indicated by the circle R8. It is set so as to minimize adverse effects on the cutting efficiency (brush cutting efficiency) of the tip 6 while providing the function. In addition, the limiting blade 7 itself is wearable according to the wear of the tip 6 due to the shape setting described above, and the limiting blade 7 itself is worn according to the wear of the tip 6a of the tip 6. In addition to maintaining an appropriate limit amount for a long period of time, the function (role) of limiting the cutting depth (cutting amount) of the limit blade 7 and the function (role) of making it difficult for foreign matter to enter the blade chamber are performed. It's definitely working.

On the other hand, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, the slit 8 provided adjacent to the limiting edge 7 has a linear portion 8a and a large diameter portion 8b, and is located at the center line L3 as shown in FIG. By setting θ2=20° shown in FIG. At this time, the length of the slit 8 is preferably twice or less (for example, about 8 mm) the length of the tip 6 (for example, 5.2 mm), and the width is preferably about 1.8 mm. The strength of the outer peripheral edge portion 2c (blade portion) of the base metal 2, which is important, is maintained (secured) at a predetermined level.

A large-diameter portion 8b formed at the bottom, which is the tip of the linear portion 8a of the slit 8, is formed to protrude in the direction of the tip 6 on the rear side (counter-rotational direction of the base metal 2). The concentrated stress is effectively dispersed by the large-diameter portion 8b to prevent cracks from occurring in the slit 8 due to stress concentration on the bottom portion. The shape of the large-diameter portion 8b is not limited to the illustrated example, and an appropriate shape can be adopted.

The blade chamber 9 has a first edge 9a and a second edge 9b. As shown in FIG. 5, the first edge 9a extends substantially straight between the rear end of the slit 8 and the position P3. A second edge portion 9b is formed in a substantially straight line from the position P3 to the position P4 so as to be continuous with the first edge portion 9a. By setting this shape, the depth and other areas of the blade chamber 9 itself are minimized, and chips can be easily discharged. It goes without saying that the first edge 9a and the second edge 9b of the blade chamber 9 may also be formed in a gentle curved shape, or in a shape combining a straight line and a gentle curved line, instead of the linear shape.

Due to the shape of the blade chamber 9 and the limit blade 7, when the tip 6a of the tip 6 wears after using the tipped saw 1 for a predetermined time, for example, a diamond grindstone is used to grind the limit blade 7 shown in FIG. The sharpness of the tipped saw 1 can be restored by polishing the sharpened portion 7c shown and the sharpened portion 9c shown by hatching of the blade chamber 9, as well as the upper portion of the flank 6c of the tip 6 and the scooping surface 6b. Become.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, in front of the limiting edge 7 on the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the blade portion between the adjacent tips 6, the front end of the inclined surface 7b of the limiting edge 7 and the flank 6c of the tip 6 on the front side. A substantially curved concave portion 10 (a second blade chamber) is formed integrally between the rear end and the concave portion 10 slightly (for example, about 1 mm deep) concave inward.

This recessed portion 10 also does not have a shape that is greatly recessed inward like a conventional one. The inclined surface 7b guides foreign matter, such as a wire, to the limiting blade 7 and discharges it in the outer direction of the base metal 2, thereby suppressing entry into the blade chamber 9 and entanglement with the tip 6. 9 can effectively reduce the scattering of foreign matter. The shape of the concave portion 10 is of course not limited to a substantially curved shape, and can be formed substantially linearly.

According to the tipped saw 1 formed in this way, even if there is, for example, a tree branch with a diameter of about 2 cm among growing weeds, if the tip 6 is not worn out, it can be kept as it is. Also, when the tip 6 is worn, as described above, the tipped saw 1 can be re-polished by re-polishing the ground portions 7c and 9c of the blade outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the base metal and the flank 6c and scooping face 6b of the tip 6. These vegetation and the like can be satisfactorily mowed without increasing the number of revolutions. This has been confirmed by experiments.

Next, the chip 6 will be described with reference to FIGS. 7 to 10. FIG. First, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the chip 6 in a sintered state is composed of a main body portion 6A having a length h (for example, h=5.2 mm) formed in a substantially prismatic shape, and the main body portion 6A. has a flange portion 6B integrally formed on the fixing surface 6d1 side, which will be described later. The body portion 6A includes a scooping surface 6b formed on the front surface, a flank 6c provided rearwardly connected to the tip of the relief surface 6b, and extending downward from the rear end of the flank 6c. It has a fixing surface 6d1, a fixing surface 6d2 connecting the lower end of the fixing surface 6d1 and the lower end of the scooping surface 6b, and side surfaces 6e on both sides.

The flange portion 6B is formed integrally with one end of the fixing surface 6d1 in the width direction (thickness direction of the base metal 2) over the entire longitudinal direction of the fixing surface 6d1. The dimensions of each portion of the chip 6 shown in FIG. 8 are set to h=5.2 mm, w1=1.8 mm, w2=2.3 mm, w3=2.0 mm, and w4=0.5 mm, for example. .

The chips 6 are fitted in the chip fixing portions 5 of the base metal 2 and fixed to the respective chip fixing portions 5 by brazing using, for example, high-frequency induction heating. At this time, each chip 6 is fitted into the chip fixing portion 5 of the base metal 2 indicated by the two-dot chain line in FIG. 10, and as shown in FIG. 2, the fixing surfaces 6d1 and 6d2, the lower portion of the relief surface 6b, and the collar portion 6B are fixed by brazing. After this fixation, each surface is polished as shown in FIGS. 9 and 10, that is, each dimension shown in FIG. Polished to 8 mm and w4=0.4 mm. After polishing, the tip 6a of the flank face formed at the time of sintering is polished to form a sharp tip 6a.

Due to the shape of the tip 6 and the shape of the blade chamber 9, as shown in FIG. When the tip 6 wears out, the flank face 6c of the tip 6 is re-polished, for example, by about 10°, and the upper part of the scooping face 6b is re-polished, so that the worn tip 6 has good sharpness. can be revived.

In addition, since the tip 6 has a flange portion 6B formed over one end in the width direction of the main body portion 6A, and the flange portion 6B is fixed to the ground contact surface 2b of the base metal 2 by brazing in a state of contact, the tip 6 The brazing area can be expanded while reinforcing the ground contact surface 2b side of the tip 6, and the fixing strength of the tip 6 can be greatly enhanced to prevent it from coming off or being damaged. In addition, the base metal of the tip 6 can be mounted simply by fitting (inserting) the main body portion 6A of the tip 6 into the tip fixing portion 5 of the base metal 2 from the ground surface 2b side and bringing the flange portion 6B into contact with the ground surface 2b. 2, the tip 6 can be easily set, and the efficiency of the brazing work can be improved.

In other words, in the case of the tipped saw 1, the limiting blade 7 and the slit 8 having the optimum shape are provided at the optimum positions between the adjacent tips 6, respectively, and the shape of the blade chamber 9 and the concave portion 10 are set to be optimum, thereby preventing the foreign matter from being removed. Intrusion into the blade chamber 9 is suppressed, and the shapes of the worn tip 6 and blade portion outer peripheral edge 2c1 can be easily reground. At the same time, since there is a clear difference in sharpness between a tipped saw that regrinds the scooping surface 6b of the worn tip 6 and a tipped saw that is not, the limit usable length of the tip 6 is set to about 1/2, and up to that position. By adopting a regrindable shape, the life of the tipped saw 1 is greatly extended.

As described above, according to the tipped saw 1, the limiting edge 7 whose tip 7a is set to be lower than the tip 6a of the tip 6 by a predetermined dimension t2 is formed on the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the blade portion between the adjacent tips 6. Since the slit 8 with a predetermined depth is formed on the rear side of the blade 7 in the rotation direction (a), the shape of the blade portion outer peripheral edge 2c1 and the limit blade 7 that can set the depth of cut allow the blade 7 to be adjacent when the number of rotations is reduced. Foreign matter can be prevented from being held between the tips 6, scattering of foreign matter can be sufficiently reduced, and the limiting edge 7 can prevent the tip 6 from coming off or chipping. It is possible to re-grind the tipped saw 1 and maintain good sharpness for a long period of time.

A limiting edge 7 lower than the tip 6a of the chip 6 by a predetermined distance t2 and a slit 8 having a predetermined length are formed in a connected state on the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the blade 2c1, and these slits are located substantially in the middle of the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the blade. , it is possible to suppress the entry of foreign matter into the blade chamber 9 while controlling the depth of cut with the limiting blade 7, further reducing the scattering of foreign matter, and the tip 6 worn by use It is possible to easily carry out the polishing work when re-polishing the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the blade portion, and the life of the tipped saw 1 itself can be extended. At the same time, the shrinkage of the outer peripheral edge portion 2c of the base metal 2 during brazing of the tip 6 is absorbed by the slits 8, so that the outer peripheral edge portion 2c can sufficiently withstand the thermal deformation and has a stable shape. The blade outer peripheral edge 2c1 (cutting edge shape) can be easily obtained.

In particular, since the limiting blade 7 is formed in a shape and position that can be worn correspondingly to the wear of the tip 6, even if the tip 6 is reduced to about half the length, the tip 6 and the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the blade portion will not be affected. By re-grinding, good sharpness is restored to the tipped saw 1, and as a result, it is possible to obtain a tipped saw 1 that is excellent in sharpness over a long period of time.

A blade chamber 9 is formed between the rear end of the slit 8 and the tip 6 on the rear side. and the second edge 9b connecting the rear end of the first edge 9a and the position P3 in a continuous state, the depth of the blade chamber 9 is the minimum required optimum shape. , the sharpening operation can be easily performed when re-sharpening the tip 6 and the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the cutting edge 2c1, and the life of the tipped saw 1 itself can be further extended.

Furthermore, since the slit 9 is formed in a substantially linear shape with a predetermined width and a predetermined length, and is oriented toward the tip 6 on the rear side in the rotational direction (a), shrinkage of the base metal due to heating during brazing of the tip 6 is prevented. The slit 8 can block (absorb) and prevent a decrease in the strength of the outer peripheral edge 2c1 (cutting edge shape) of the predetermined shape. In addition, since the length of the slit 8 is not more than twice the length of the chip 6, and the large diameter portion 8b for dispersing stress wider than the width of the slit is provided at the bottom of the slit 8, the base metal shrinks sufficiently during brazing. It is possible to easily and inexpensively obtain a blade portion outer peripheral edge 2c1 of a stable shape that can withstand stress concentration and can be dispersed.

In this way, by setting the outer peripheral edge 2c1 of the cutting edge between the pair of front and rear tips 6 of the base metal 2 to an unprecedented shape, it is possible to reduce the scattering of pebbles and the like during mowing. It is possible to provide a tipped saw 1 for cutting grass that can safely and efficiently cut grass in locations where various troubles are likely to occur due to the collision of flying foreign matter, such as mowing in dividers, mowing around locations where solar panels are installed, and the like.

In the above-described embodiment, the tip 6 is formed in a substantially prismatic shape, and the flange portion 6B is integrally formed over the entire widthwise end of the prismatic main body portion 6A, but the present invention is not limited to this shape. For example, the fixing portions 6d1 and 6d2 are arc-shaped, and the collar portion 6B is formed in an arc-like or substantially continuous linear shape, and is brought into contact with the ground contact surface 2b of the base metal 2. An appropriate shape can be adopted according to the shape of 5.

Further, in the above-described embodiment, the outer diameter of the base metal 2, the number, shape and arrangement of the tips 6, the shape of the lightening hole 3, the shape of the limiting blade 7 and the slit 8, the shape of the blade chamber 9 and the recess 10, and the above-mentioned Various dimensions, angles, etc. are examples, and for example, it is possible to secure a set size on the side surface 6e of the tip 6 on the flange 6B side, or to fix the flange 6B of the tip 6 only on the ground contact surface 2b side of the base metal 2. Instead, it is possible to employ an appropriate configuration such as alternate (staggered) fixed arrangement on the ground contact surface 2b and the bush cutter mounting surface 2a without departing from the gist of each aspect of the present invention.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can be used for all tip saws for mowing, which have tips fixed to the outer peripheral edge of a base metal and are used for mowing trees and the like.
