Description
本出願は、その開示全体が参照として本明細書に援用される、2016年9月7日出願の同時係属中の米国特許仮出願第62/384,437号の利益を主張する。
a)穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層であって、当該外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、当該外側繊維材料層は少なくとも1つの色を有する、穿孔された外側繊維材料層と、
b)外側繊維材料層と接合された繊維基層であって、当該基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、当該繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有する繊維を含み、外側繊維材料層は、基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、繊維基層と、
c)当該外側繊維材料層と当該基層との間の着色ポリマー材料であって、当該着色ポリマー材料は少なくとも1つの色を有する、着色ポリマー材料と、を含み、
着色ポリマー材料は、当該穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、当該穿孔を介した基層の視覚的露出は、着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、当該穿孔を介して露出する着色ポリマー材料の部分は、繊維材料層によって偽装される、多層複合材料が提供される。
a)穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層であって、当該外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、当該プライのそれぞれはナイロン繊維を含み、当該外側繊維材料層は、迷彩パターンで着色され、当該穿孔は、外側繊維材料層の厚さに切り込まれ、そこを完全に通る成形された開口部のパターンを含む、穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層と、
b)外側繊維材料層と接合された繊維基層であって、当該基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、当該繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有するポリエチレン繊維を含み、外側繊維材料層は、基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、繊維基層と、
c)当該外側繊維材料層のそれぞれと当該基層との間にあり、そこに取り付けられた着色ポリマー材料であって、当該着色ポリマー材料は1つの色を有し、着色ポリマー材料の色は、外側繊維材料層の当該迷彩パターンの色のうちの1つと同一である、着色ポリマー材料と、
d)当該繊維基層上の裏当て層であって、裏当て層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、当該繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有するポリエチレン繊維を含む、裏当て層と、を含み、
着色ポリマー材料は、当該穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、当該穿孔を介した基層の視覚的露出は、着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、当該穿孔を介して露出する着色ポリマー材料の部分は、繊維材料層によって偽装される、多層複合材料が提供される。
a)穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層を準備することであって、当該外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、当該外側繊維材料層は少なくとも1つの色を有する、ことと、
b)着色ポリマー材料を準備することであって、当該着色ポリマー材料は、当該外側繊維材料層の少なくとも1つの色に一致する色で着色される、ことと、
c)繊維基層を準備することであって、当該基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、当該繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有する繊維を含み、外側繊維材料層は、基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、ことと、
d)繊維基層を外側繊維材料層に同一の広がりを持って取り付けることであって、着色ポリマー材料の少なくとも一部は、繊維基層と外側繊維材料層との間に位置付けられ、着色ポリマー材料の一部は、当該繊維材料層内の穿孔のそれぞれの裏側に位置付けられる、ことと、を含み、
着色ポリマー材料は、当該穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、当該穿孔を介した基層の視覚的露出は、着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、当該穿孔を介して露出する着色ポリマー材料の部分は、繊維材料層によって偽装される、多層複合材を形成する方法が提供される。
本明細書で提供される複合材料は、2種類以上の異なる繊維材料層を含み、各層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含む。各繊維材料層の繊維プライのそれぞれは複数の繊維を含み、各プライは、任意選択的に繊維上にポリマー結合剤材料を有する。最も広範には、第1及び第2の表面を有する外側繊維材料層(第1の繊維材料層)並びに第1及び第2の表面を有する繊維基層(第2の繊維材料層)は、外側繊維材料層の第2の表面が基層の第1の表面に接着結合されるように結合される。別の実施形態では、第1及び第2の表面を有する裏当て層(第3の繊維材料層)は基層に取り付けられ、基層の第2の表面は、裏当て層の第1の表面に取り付けられる。
R-YR-Y-GY-G-BG-B-PB-P-RP
U.S.ウッドランド迷彩パターン(砂色、茶色、緑色、及び青色の不規則模様を有する、4色の高コントラスト迷彩パターン)を有する単一のMIL規格Mil-DTL-32439ナイロン織布(500デニールナイロン繊維)を含む圧密複合積層体を製造し、このMIL規格ナイロン布を、単一のポリエチレン織布(375デニールのSPECTRA(登録商標)1000繊維、平織構造、インチ当たり32×32の縦の打ち込み本数、面密度=0.82lb/ft2)に接着する。布は、U.S.ウッドランド迷彩パターンに見出される黒色に同一のマンセル色相を有する黒色の中間接着ポリエチレンフィルムを使用したラミネーションによって互いに取り付ける。
黒色の接着ポリエチレンフィルムの代わりに黒色の中間接着ポリウレタンフィルムフィルムを使用することを除いて、実施例1を繰り返す。
ナイロン布とポリエチレン布との間の黒色の中間接着ポリエチレンフィルムに加えて、ポリエン布の最外面に黒色の外側ポリエチレンフィルムも適用することを除いて、実施例1を繰り返す。
ナイロン布とポリエチレン布との間の黒色の中間接着ポリウレタンフィルムに加えて、ポリエン布の最外面に黒色の外側ポリウレタンフィルムも適用することを除いて、実施例2を繰り返す。
ナイロン布とポリエチレン布との間の黒色の中間接着ポリエチレンフィルムの代わりとして、ポリエン布の最外面に黒色の外側ポリエチレンフィルムを適用することを除いて、実施例1を繰り返す。
ナイロン布とポリエチレン布との間の黒色の中間接着ポリウレタンフィルムの代わりとして、ポリエン布の最外面に黒色の外側ポリウレタンフィルムを適用することを除いて、実施例2を繰り返す。
米国特許第7,200,871号に記載され、図1に示されるようなデザインを有する孔のパターンでMIL規格Mil-DTL-32439ナイロン織布を穿孔することを除いて、実施例1~6のそれぞれを繰り返す。
本明細書は以下の発明の態様を包含する。

多層複合材料であって、
a)穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層であって、前記外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記外側繊維材料層は少なくとも1つの色を有する、穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層と、
b)前記外側繊維材料層と接合された繊維基層であって、前記基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有する繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、前記基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、繊維基層と、
c)前記外側繊維材料層と前記基層との間の着色ポリマー材料であって、前記着色ポリマー材料は少なくとも1つの色を有する、着色ポリマー材料と、を含み、
前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、前記穿孔を介した前記基層の視覚的露出は、前記着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、前記穿孔を介して露出する前記着色ポリマー材料の部分は、前記繊維材料層によって偽装される、多層複合材料。

前記外側繊維材料層が、10g/デニール以下の靭性を有する繊維を含む、[1]に記載の複合材料。
[3]
前記着色ポリマー材料が着色ポリマーフィルムである、[1]に記載の複合材料。
[4]
前記着色外側繊維材料の各色がマンセル色相を有し、前記着色ポリマー材料の各色がマンセル色相を有し、前記着色ポリマー材料が、前記外側繊維材料の前記色のうちの少なくとも1つのマンセル色相の、マンセル色相スケール上で±5段階以内のマンセル色相を有する、[1]に記載の複合材料。

前記着色ポリマー材料が、前記繊維基層にコーティングされ、少なくとも部分的に含浸する、ポリマーマトリックスコーティングを含む、[1]に記載の複合材料。
[6]
前記外側繊維材料層がナイロン繊維を含み、前記繊維基層がポリエチレン繊維を含む、[1]に記載の複合材料。
[7]
前記基層が内面と、外面と、を有し、前記内面が前記外側繊維材料層に面し、前記複合材料が、前記基層の前記外面に裏当て層を含み、前記裏当て層が1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれが、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有する繊維を含む、[1]に記載の複合材料。

前記外側繊維材料層が、複数の色で迷彩パターンに着色され、前記着色ポリマー材料が1つの色で着色され、前記着色ポリマー材料の前記色が、前記迷彩パターンの前記色のうちの1つと同一である、[1]に記載の複合材料。

多層複合材料であって、
a)穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層であって、前記外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記プライのそれぞれはナイロン繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、迷彩パターンで着色され、前記穿孔は、前記厚さ外側繊維材料層に切り込まれ、そこを完全に通る成形された開口部のパターンを含む、穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層と、
b)前記外側繊維材料層と接合された繊維基層であって、前記基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有するポリエチレン繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、前記基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、繊維基層と、
c)前記外側繊維材料層のそれぞれと前記基層との間にあり、そこに取り付けられた着色ポリマー材料であって、前記着色ポリマー材料は1つの色を有し、前記着色ポリマー材料の前記色は、前記外側繊維材料層の前記迷彩パターンの色のうちの1つと同一である、着色ポリマー材料と、
d)前記繊維基層上の裏当て層であって、前記裏当て層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有するポリエチレン繊維を含む、裏当て層と、を含み、
前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、前記穿孔を介した前記基層の視覚的露出は、前記着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、前記穿孔を介して露出する前記着色ポリマー材料の部分は、前記繊維材料層によって偽装される、多層複合材料。
[10]
多層複合材料を形成する方法であって、
a)穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層を準備することであって、前記外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記外側繊維材料層は少なくとも1つの色を有する、ことと、
b)着色ポリマー材料を準備することであって、前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記外側繊維材料層の少なくとも1つの色に一致する色で着色される、ことと、
c)繊維基層を準備することであって、前記基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有する繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、前記基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、ことと、
d)前記繊維基層を前記外側繊維材料層に同一の広がりを持って取り付けることであって、前記着色ポリマー材料の少なくとも一部は、前記繊維基層と前記外側繊維材料層との間に位置付けられ、前記着色ポリマー材料の一部は、前記繊維材料層内の前記穿孔のそれぞれの裏側に位置付けられる、ことと、を含み、
前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、前記穿孔を介した前記基層の視覚的露出は、前記着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、前記穿孔を介して露出する前記着色ポリマー材料の部分は、前記繊維材料層によって偽装される、方法。
Claims (5)
- 多層複合材料であって、
a)外側繊維材料層の厚さに切り込まれ、そこを完全に通る成形された開口部のパターンを含む穿孔を有する、穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層であって、前記外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニール以下の靭性を有する繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は少なくとも1つの色を有する、穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層と、
b)前記外側繊維材料層と接合された繊維基層であって、前記繊維基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有する繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、前記繊維基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、繊維基層と、
c)前記外側繊維材料層と前記繊維基層との間の着色ポリマー材料であって、前記着色ポリマー材料は少なくとも1つの色を有する、着色ポリマー材料と、を含み、
前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、前記穿孔を介した前記繊維基層の視覚的露出は、前記着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、前記穿孔を介して露出する前記着色ポリマー材料の部分は、前記外側繊維材料層によって偽装される、多層複合材料。 - 多層複合材料であって、
a)穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層であって、前記外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記プライのそれぞれはナイロン繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、迷彩パターンで着色され、前記穿孔は、前記厚さ外側繊維材料層に切り込まれ、そこを完全に通る成形された開口部のパターンを含む、穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層と、
b)前記外側繊維材料層と接合された繊維基層であって、前記繊維基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有するポリエチレン繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、前記繊維基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、繊維基層と、
c)前記外側繊維材料層と前記繊維基層との間にあり、そこに取り付けられた着色ポリマー材料であって、前記着色ポリマー材料は1つの色を有し、前記着色ポリマー材料の前記色は、前記外側繊維材料層の前記迷彩パターンの色のうちの1つと同一である、着色ポリマー材料と、
d)前記繊維基層上の裏当て層であって、前記裏当て層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有するポリエチレン繊維を含む、裏当て層と、を含み、
前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、前記穿孔を介した前記繊維基層の視覚的露出は、前記着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、前記穿孔を介して露出する前記着色ポリマー材料の部分は、前記繊維材料層によって偽装される、多層複合材料。 - 2種類以上の異なる繊維材料層を含む多層複合材料を形成する方法であって、
a)外側繊維材料層の厚さに切り込まれ、そこを完全に通る成形された開口部のパターンを含む穿孔を有する、穿孔された着色外側繊維材料層を準備することであって、前記外側繊維材料層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記外側繊維材料層は少なくとも1つの色を有する、ことと、
b)着色ポリマー材料を準備することであって、前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記外側繊維材料層の少なくとも1つの色に一致する色で着色される、ことと、
c)繊維基層を準備することであって、前記繊維基層は1つ以上の繊維プライを含み、前記繊維プライのそれぞれは、10g/デニールよりも大きい靭性を有する繊維を含み、前記外側繊維材料層は、前記繊維基層とは異なる着色外観を有する、ことと、
d)前記繊維基層を前記外側繊維材料層に同一の広がりを持って取り付けることであって、前記着色ポリマー材料の少なくとも一部は、前記繊維基層と前記外側繊維材料層との間に位置付けられ、前記着色ポリマー材料の一部は、前記繊維材料層内の前記穿孔のそれぞれの裏側に位置付けられることと、を含み、
前記着色ポリマー材料は、前記穿孔を介して部分的に露出し、前記穿孔を介した前記繊維基層の視覚的露出は、前記着色ポリマー材料によって少なくとも部分的に覆い隠され、前記穿孔を介して露出する前記着色ポリマー材料の部分は、前記繊維材料層によって偽装され、前記外側繊維材料層の繊維プライのそれぞれが10g/デニール以下の靭性を有する繊維を含む、方法。 - 前記着色ポリマー材料が前記繊維基層上にあり、前記着色ポリマー材料及び前記繊維基層のそれぞれが前記外側繊維材料層の穿孔のすぐ裏側に配置された、請求項1に記載の多層複合材料。
- 前記外側繊維材料層が一以上の織布繊維プライを含み、前記繊維基層が一以上の不織繊維プライを含む、請求項2に記載の多層複合材料。
