Description
The present invention relates to cleaning implements having handles and, more particularly, to cleaning implements having end caps at the ends of the handles.
Japanese Patent Laying-Open No. 2012-90947 (cited document 1) discloses a handle with an end cap for a cleaning tool for the purpose of improving stability when the handle of the cleaning tool is leaned against a wall surface or the like. In the cleaning tool, the end cap is made of an elastic material and the end face of the end cap is formed with an inclined surface, thereby improving the stability when the tool is stood upright.

However, since the covered
Registered utility model No. 3018118 (reference 2) discloses a grip end for a cleaning tool, which has a hanging hole used for storage and has the purpose of securely connecting a cap body to the grip end. there is At the grip end, the cap body has a pair of elastic pieces, and the elastic pieces are inserted into and engaged with the cylindrical grip end with the aim of securely attaching the cap body to the grip end. there is
11, an
However, the
As described above, conventional techniques for cleaning tools with end caps have the drawbacks that it is not easy to grasp the end cap portion by hand, and that the end cap tends to come off from the end of the handle when a strong external force is applied. rice field. Moreover, since the engaging portion between the end cap and the end of the handle can be accessed from the outside through the suspension hole, there is a drawback that it is easily affected by unexpected external force.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a handle that is easy for a user to hold without causing discomfort when the end cap portion is held by the hand, and that the end cap is less likely to come off from the end of the handle even when a strong external force is applied, and To provide a cleaning tool with an end cap in which an engaging portion between the end cap and the end of a handle is hidden from the outside, making it inaccessible and easy to manufacture. A further object of the present invention is to provide a simple method of manufacturing the end cap of the cleaning tool.
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and a first form of the present invention is a cleaning tool having a handle, wherein an inner member and an outer member are integrated at the handle end of the handle. The inner member and the handle end are both made of a rigid member, and the engagement of the inner member and the handle end causes the end cap to be attached to the handle end. A cleaning tool characterized by being attached.
In a second aspect of the present invention, the distal end portion of the handle end portion has a cylindrical shape with a reduced diameter, the inner member has an engaging main portion, the distal end portion has an engaging secondary portion, and the inner member covers the entire distal end portion from the outside and the main engagement portion and the secondary engagement portion are engaged with each other, so that the end cap is attached to the end portion of the handle, and the main engagement portion is connected to the engagement convex portion. , the secondary engaging portion is an engaging concave portion or an engaging hole portion, and when the engaging secondary portion is an engaging convex portion, the engaging main portion is an engaging concave portion or an engaging hole portion. A cleaning tool.
A third form of the present invention is a cleaning tool in which the outer member is made of a soft member.
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, the cleaning tool has a wiping body connected to the other side of the handle from the handle end, the wiping body placed on a horizontal floor and the handle gently leaned against a vertical planar wall and supported by hand if necessary, said outer member of said end cap abutting said wall and at least one of the axis of said handle end. The cleaning tool has a leaning angle of the handle and an arrangement of the wiping body such that the angle formed by the part and the wall is 30° or less.
A fifth form of the present invention is a cleaning tool in which the outer member outer surface of the outer member and the handle end outer surface of the handle end portion are connected without a step in appearance.
In a sixth aspect of the present invention, the cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the outer member when viewed in a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction of the handle end is at least the cross-section in which the diameter of the curve representing the cross-sectional shape is maximum. It is a cleaning tool that has a substantially polygonal shape when viewed.
A seventh form of the present invention is the cleaning tool, wherein the cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the handle end viewed from the cross section perpendicular to the axial direction of the handle end is substantially polygonal.
An eighth form of the present invention is a method for manufacturing the end cap of the cleaning tool, comprising the steps of: forming the inner member by injection molding; and forming the outer member by fitting it to the outer surface of the inner member. A method for manufacturing an end cap characterized by comprising:
A ninth aspect of the present invention is a method of manufacturing an end cap for the cleaning tool, wherein the inner member has a through hole, holding the inner member; disposing an outer frame mold across a gap; injecting a liquid resin from the inside of the inner member through the through hole into the outer member forming gap; curing the liquid resin to form a cured product; and obtaining the outer member integrated with the inner member; and separating the outer frame mold from the outer member. is a method of manufacturing an end cap.
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a cleaning tool having a handle, a double-structured end cap formed by integrating an inner member and an outer member is attached to the handle end of the handle, and the inner member and the handle end are both made of rigid material, and engagement of the inner member and the handle end attaches the end cap to the handle end.
The handle of the cleaning tool to which the end cap is attached is generally made of rigid material, including the handle end. In addition, the end caps of the conventional cleaning tools described in
According to the second aspect of the present invention, the distal end portion of the handle end portion has a cylindrical shape with a reduced diameter, the inner member has a main engagement portion, the distal end portion has a secondary engagement portion, and the The end cap is attached to the handle end by the inner member covering the entire tip portion from the outside and the main engagement portion and the secondary engagement portion are engaged, and the main engagement portion is engaged. When it is a convex portion, the secondary engaging portion is an engaging concave portion or an engaging hole, and when the secondary engaging portion is an engaging convex portion, the main engaging portion is an engaging concave portion or an engaging hole. We can provide a cleaning tool that is a part.
In the cleaning tool of the present embodiment, the inner member of the end cap covers the entire cylindrical distal end portion with a reduced diameter from the outside, and the engaging slave portion and the engaging main portion are engaged to form the end cap. Attached to the end of the handle. Since the inner member of the end cap covers the cylindrical distal end portion from the outside, when the distal end portion is engaged with the portion by inserting a portion of the end cap into the cylindrical distal end portion as in the conventional art. In contrast, when an external force that rotates the end cap is applied, the distance from the axis of the cylindrical tip to the point of action of the drag force exerted by the tip against the end cap increases. . Therefore, the moment of the drag is increased. Therefore, the cleaning tool of this embodiment has the advantage that the end cap is less likely to rotate relative to the cylindrical distal end portion even when a large external force is applied, and the end cap is less likely to come off the cylindrical distal end portion.
Further, in the cleaning tool of this embodiment, the engagement between the main engaging portion and the secondary engaging portion is a firm engagement between the engaging convex portion and the engaging concave portion or between the engaging convex portion and the engaging hole portion. Therefore, the cleaning tool of this embodiment has the advantage that the end cap is difficult to come off from the end of the handle. Furthermore, in the cleaning tool of this embodiment, since the inner member of the end cap covers the entire cylindrical distal end portion of the handle end portion from the outside, the main engagement portion and the secondary engagement portion are hidden from the outside. It has the advantage of being inaccessible and less susceptible to unforeseen external forces.
According to the 3rd form of this invention, the cleaning tool which the said outer member consists of soft members can be provided.
In the cleaning tool of this embodiment, since the outer member of the end cap is made of a soft material, even if the cleaning tool leaning against the wall or the like falls down due to carelessness or other causes, the impact at the time of ground contact is absorbed. There is an advantage that the cleaning tool is less likely to be damaged by the movement of the cleaning tool, and that the impact noise emitted to the surroundings when it falls down is reduced. Furthermore, when the cleaning tool of this embodiment is leaned against a wall, if the wall and the outer member of the end cap abut against each other, a large frictional force may act between the wall and the outer member made of a soft member. has the advantage that it is stable and does not easily fall over when it is leaned against a wall.
According to a fourth aspect of the invention, the cleaning tool has a wiping body connected to the handle on the other side of the handle from the handle end, the wiping body being placed on a horizontal floor. When the handle is gently tilted against a vertical planar wall and supported by hand if necessary, the outer member of soft material of the end cap abuts the wall and the end of the handle. It is possible to provide a cleaning tool in which the leaning angle of the handle and the placement of the wiping body are such that the angle formed by at least a part of the axis of the cleaning tool and the wall is 30° or less.
In the cleaning tool of this embodiment, when the cleaning tool is stored by leaning it against the wall of the storage space when not in use, when the handle is leaned at an angle of 30° or less, in a normal stored state close to vertical, the soft member of the end cap Since the portion of the outer member made of the soft material abuts against the wall, a large frictional force can act between the wall and the outer member made of the soft material. It has the advantage of not falling over easily.
Here, the reason why the leaning angle is limited to 30° or less is that, in the case of a normal handle that has a straight shape or is not so bent, firstly, in the case of a large leaning angle close to the horizontal handle. Secondly, a large leaning angle exceeding 30° is not specified because the handle almost always abuts against the wall at the outer member of the end cap. In the case of , a large floor space is required to store the cleaning tools, and at home, the stored cleaning tools will interfere with the passage of people. This is because it is unrealistic to think about it, and it does not match the actual use of the cleaning tool.
According to the fifth aspect of the present invention, it is possible to provide a cleaning tool in which the outer member outer surface of the outer member and the handle end outer surface of the handle end portion are connected without a step in appearance.
In the cleaning tool of this embodiment, the outer surface of the outer member of the end cap and the outer surface of the handle end portion of the handle end portion are connected without a step in appearance, so that the end cap and the end portion of the handle are integrated in surface shape. there is Therefore, the user can grip the handle without feeling a step regardless of where the end of the handle is gripped or from which direction. The user does not need to be conscious of where to grip the end of the handle or how to grip it. The advantage of the cleaning tool of this embodiment is that the user can smoothly grasp the end of the handle without psychological resistance, both visually and from experience, and can easily start cleaning work. In addition, the expression "no level difference in appearance" means that the level difference is at least 0.2 mm or less in consideration of human eyesight and skin sensitivity. If possible, the step is preferably 0.1 mm or less, more preferably 0.05 mm or less.
According to the sixth aspect of the present invention, the cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the outer member when viewed in a cross-section perpendicular to the axial direction of the handle end has at least the maximum diameter of the curve representing the cross-sectional shape. A cleaning tool can be provided that is generally polygonal when viewed in cross section.
In the cleaning tool of this embodiment, when the cleaning tool is leaned against the wall at a leaning angle of 30° or less, which is the normal housed state, the outer surface of the outer member of the end cap, which has a substantially polygonal cross section, and the wall. Since they abut, the contact area with the wall is widened. Therefore, the cleaning tool of this embodiment has an advantage that it is highly stable when leaned against a wall and does not easily fall over. Also, when the user grips the handle of the cleaning tool by hand, if the user grips the end cap portion, the cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the outer member of the end cap is substantially polygonal, so the user can hold the handle in the hand. The end cap and handle are difficult to rotate and can be gripped firmly. Therefore, the cleaning tool of this embodiment also has the advantage that the handle can be easily gripped by the user. The polygon on which the "substantially polygonal" is based may be any polygon such as a triangle, quadrangle, pentagon, or hexagon. From the viewpoint of ensuring the contact area and/or ease of gripping, The "substantially polygonal shape" in the present invention is more preferably substantially triangular or substantially quadrangular, and more preferably substantially triangular. In addition, "substantially polygonal" means not only a polygon, but also an R (curved portion) is provided in the vicinity of each vertex of the polygon, and the remaining portion of each side of the polygon is more than that. It also includes a shape replaced with a curved portion with a large radius of curvature, or a shape left with a straight portion without replacement. Here, from the viewpoint of ensuring the contact area and/or the ease of gripping, the maximum value of the radius of curvature of each side of the substantially polygonal shape (infinite ∞ when including a straight line portion) is at least substantially large. It is preferably equal to or larger than the square diameter (assumed to be D), and more preferably equal to or larger than 2×D. In addition, the diameter of a substantially polygon means the maximum value of the linear distance between two arbitrary points P and Q on the circumference of the substantially polygon.
According to the seventh aspect of the present invention, it is possible to provide a cleaning tool in which the cross-sectional shape of the outer surface of the handle end viewed in a cross section orthogonal to the axial direction of the handle end is substantially polygonal.
In the cleaning tool of this embodiment, when the user holds the handle of the cleaning tool by hand, when the user holds the outer surface of the handle end, the outer surface of the handle end has a substantially polygonal cross-sectional shape. Because of this, the handle does not easily rotate in the hand and can be gripped firmly. Therefore, the cleaning tool of this embodiment has the advantage that the handle can be easily gripped by the user. The polygon on which the "substantially polygonal" is based may be any polygon such as a triangle, quadrangle, pentagon, or hexagon. From the viewpoint of ensuring ease of designing, the "substantially polygonal shape" in the present invention is more preferably substantially triangular or substantially quadrangular, and more preferably substantially triangular. In addition, from the viewpoint of ensuring the ease of gripping in the above sense, the maximum value of the radius of curvature of each side of the substantially polygon (infinite ∞ when including a straight line part) It is preferably equal to or larger than the square diameter (assumed to be D), and more preferably equal to or larger than 2×D.
According to an eighth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing an end cap for a cleaning tool, comprising the steps of: forming the inner member by injection molding; A method for manufacturing an end cap can be provided, comprising the steps of:
According to the manufacturing method of the end cap of this embodiment, of the end cap having a double structure in which the inner member and the outer member are integrated, the inner member is first formed by injection molding, and the outer member is formed separately from the inner member. An end cap is manufactured by forming by any method such as injection molding, and then attaching the outer member to the outer surface of the inner member. Therefore, the manufacturing method of this embodiment has the advantage of being able to easily manufacture the double-structured end cap by injection molding and capping. Note that "capping" means to integrate the inner member and the outer member by arranging the outer member so as to cover the outer surface of the inner member by any method such as fitting, fusion bonding, adhesion, or crimping. means
According to a ninth aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method of manufacturing an end cap for a cleaning tool, wherein the inner member has a through hole, holding the inner member; disposing an outer frame mold across a forming gap; injecting a liquid resin from the inside of the inner member through the through hole into the outer member forming gap; The method comprises at least the step of obtaining the outer member integrated with the inner member by using the outer member as a cured product, and the step of separating the outer frame mold from the outer member. A method for manufacturing an end cap for a cleaning tool can be provided.
The method for manufacturing the end cap of this embodiment is a method for manufacturing an end cap having a double structure in which an inner member and an outer member are integrated by a so-called two-color injection molding method. By the way, if the end cap of the present invention is manufactured by the usual two-color injection molding method, first the inner member is formed, and then the liquid resin for forming the outer member is injected from the injection port arranged outside the inner member. The liquid resin is injected and cured to form the outer member on the outside of the inner member, the outer frame mold is removed, and finally the cured liquid resin for forming the outer member is stretched into a columnar shape near the injection port. Cut at appropriate points to complete the end cap. However, in such a normal two-color injection molding method, a step occurs on the outer surface of the outer member at the portion where the cured product of the liquid resin for forming the outer member, which is stretched in a columnar shape near the injection port, is cut. The external surface lacks continuity in appearance, and the user feels uncomfortable when gripping the handle of the cleaning tool, making it difficult to hold.
Therefore, in the method of manufacturing the end cap of the present embodiment, the inner member has a through hole, the liquid resin is injected from the inside of the inner member through the through hole, and the liquid resin is cured to form the outer member. Thus, the portion where the hardened liquid resin for forming the outer member that extends in a columnar shape near the injection port is cut is located inside the inner member rather than on the outer surface of the outer member. By doing so, continuity and smoothness in appearance of the outer surface of the outer member can be ensured. The advantage of the manufacturing method of the end cap of this embodiment is that the outer surface of the outer member of the end cap is formed smoothly, so that the user can easily hold the handle of the cleaning tool and does not feel uncomfortable. be.
Next, the cleaning tool with an end cap of the present invention and the form for carrying out the manufacturing method of the end cap will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

In this embodiment, since the cross-sectional shape of the outer member

In the embodiment of the present invention shown in FIG. 8, the cross-sectional shape of the outer member
