Description

The present invention relates to printing titanium paper and decorative laminates.

Conventionally, titanium paper for printing in which an ink-receiving layer is formed on the surface of titanium paper has been proposed (see, for example, Patent Documents 1 to 3). Such titanium paper for printing has, for example, a pattern formed by printing on the surface of the ink-receiving layer, a substrate attached to the opposite surface, impregnated with a thermosetting resin, and then heated. It is hardened by pressure pressing and used as a surface decorative material for decorative boards. This improves the design of the decorative board.
However, with the techniques described in Patent Documents 1 to 3, it is difficult to achieve both press workability and designability.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention has been made in view of the problems described above, and an object of the present invention is to provide a printing titanium paper and a decorative board which are excellent in press workability and design.

In order to solve the above problems, one aspect of the present invention provides (a) a titanium paper for printing in which an ink-receiving layer is formed on a surface of the titanium paper, and (b) the ink-receiving layer is an ink-receiving layer. With respect to the total mass, it contains 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less of silica, contains 5% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less of casein resin, and has a dry solid content of 1.0 g/m 2 or more and 8.0 g/m 2 or less. The gist is that it is a printing titanium paper.
Another aspect of the present invention comprises (a) the titanium printing paper, (b) a pattern layer laminated on one side of the titanium printing paper, and (c) formed on the other side of the titanium printing paper. A decorative board comprising:

According to the present invention, since the amount of resin contained in the ink-receiving layer is appropriate, it is possible to prevent the decorative paper-impregnated body from swelling during heat and pressure press processing. In addition, since the amount of silica contained in the ink-receiving layer is appropriate, an ink-receiving layer having a high reflection density can be formed. Therefore, it is possible to provide a printing titanium paper and a decorative board which are excellent in press workability and design.

1 is a cross-sectional view showing a decorative sheet and a decorative board according to an embodiment of the present invention; FIG.

Hereinafter, titanium paper for printing and a decorative board according to embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below, and modifications such as design changes can be made based on the knowledge of those skilled in the art. , are within the scope of the present invention. Each drawing is appropriately exaggerated to facilitate understanding.

(Constitution)
As shown in FIG. 1, a decorative board 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a substrate 2 and a decorative paper-impregnated body 3 provided on one surface (surface 2a) of the substrate 2. As shown in FIG.
The substrate 2 and the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 are integrated. As a method for integrating the substrate 2 and the decorative paper-impregnated body 3, for example, the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 and the substrate 2 are laminated, and a metal plate, which is a mirror plate, is placed on the surface 3a of the decorative paper-impregnated body 3. Then, a method of heating and pressurizing (heating and pressurizing molding) using a heating and pressurizing press can be used. When laminating the substrate 2 and the decorative paper-impregnated body 3, they may be laminated via an adhesive, or may be laminated directly without an adhesive or the like. In addition, if necessary, they may be laminated via a core paper in the same manner as a melamine resin decorative board.

The core paper is, for example, base paper such as titanium paper, bleached kraft paper, unbleached kraft paper, glass fiber non-woven fabric, etc. impregnated with an uncured thermosetting resin. Examples of thermosetting resins include melamine resins, epoxy resins, diallyl phthalate resins, benzoguanamine resins, urethane resins, alkyd resins, unsaturated polyester resins, phenol resins, and urea resins. be able to. As a specific example, phenolic resin-impregnated kraft paper or the like, which is widely used as core paper for melamine resin decorative boards, can be used.
In addition, as a method of hot pressurization, a continuous lamination method of a circular pressure type can be adopted in addition to a method of contacting and flattening a metal plate. In particular, when a continuous lamination method using a metal endless belt is used, it is possible to obtain a high-quality decorative sheet 1 that is densely cured and integrated without warping or waving on the surface, and has good adhesion between layers. It has the advantage that it can be manufactured continuously at high speed.

In the heat and pressure press, the surface shape after molding is the same as that of the embossed sheet made of the metal plate, metal endless belt, curable resin or the like used. Therefore, by using an embossed sheet made of a metal plate, a metal endless belt, a curable resin, etc., whose surface is polished to a smooth surface such as a mirror surface, the glossiness and smoothness of the surface are excellent. A decorative board 1 can be obtained. In addition, if necessary, any desired matte or textured metal plate, an embossed sheet made of metal endless belt curable resin, etc. can be used to achieve any desired surface finish. Plate 1 can also be obtained.

(substrate)
As the substrate 2, for example, a wooden substrate, a fibrous substrate, an inorganic substrate, a metal substrate, a synthetic resin substrate, etc., or a composite or laminate of two or more of these substrates can be used. As the wooden substrate, for example, a wood veneer, plywood, laminated lumber, particle board, medium-density fiberboard, hard fiberboard, or the like can be used. As the fibrous substrate, for example, paperboard (eg, titanium paper), woven fabric, nonwoven fabric, resin-impregnated paper (eg, overlay paper), resin-impregnated fabric, etc. can be used. Furthermore, as the inorganic substrate, for example, a gypsum board, a slate board, a calcium silicate board, a slag gypsum board, a wood wool cement board, a slag cement board, a lightweight cellular concrete board, a glass fiber reinforced concrete board, and the like can be used. Moreover, as the metal substrate, for example, a steel plate, a brass plate, an aluminum plate, a duralumin plate, a stainless steel plate, or the like can be used. Furthermore, as a synthetic resin substrate, for example, an acrylic resin plate, a styrene resin plate, an ABS resin plate, a polycarbonate resin plate, a nylon resin plate, a polystyrene resin plate, a polypropylene resin plate, a polyester resin plate, a glass fiber reinforced plastic plate, etc. are adopted. can. In particular, a laminate obtained by laminating an overlay paper, a titanium paper for preventing warpage, and an overlay paper in this order is most preferable.

(Decorative paper impregnated body)
The decorative paper-impregnated body 3 includes a printing titanium paper 4 and a pattern layer 5 provided on one surface 4 a of the printing titanium paper 4 . The printing titanium paper 4 and the pattern layer 5 are integrated. As a method for integrating the printing titanium paper 4 and the pattern layer 5, for example, the pattern layer 5 and the printing titanium paper 4 are laminated, and a metal plate, which is a mirror plate, is placed on the surface 3a of the pattern layer 5. Then, a method of heating and pressurizing (heating and pressurizing molding) using a heating and pressurizing press can be used.

(Titanium paper for printing)
The printing titanium paper 4 comprises a titanium paper 6 and an ink receiving layer 7 formed on the surface 6a of the titanium paper 6. As shown in FIG. The titanium paper 6 is a base paper in which titanium white is incorporated into pulp. For example, it can be obtained by making a calendered printing base paper having a basis weight of 60 g/m 2 or more and less than 110 g/m 2 with a paper stock containing titanium oxide using a Fourdrinier paper machine. The ash content ratio of the titanium printing paper 4 should be 20% by mass or more and less than 40% by mass with respect to the total mass of the titanium printing paper 4 .

The ink receiving layer 7 is a layer for receiving printing ink. The ink-receiving layer 7 is formed using a coating liquid or the like prepared by dissolving or dispersing a colorant such as a pigment together with a suitable binder resin in a suitable diluent solvent. The coating liquid is applied by, for example, a gravure coater, bar coater, blade coater, roll coater, curtain coater, or the like. Moreover, as a pigment, silica can be used, for example. The ratio of silica is preferably 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less with respect to the total mass of the ink-receiving layer 7 in terms of dry solid content. If the amount is less than 10% by mass, the silica content of the ink-receiving layer 7 is so low that the reflection density of the printed image is low. On the other hand, if it is more than 60% by mass, the silica content of the ink-receiving layer 7 is so high that the coating liquid for the ink-receiving layer 7 cannot be applied and the ink-receiving layer 7 cannot be formed.

Furthermore, casein resin, for example, can be used as the binder resin. The ratio of the casein resin is preferably 5% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less with respect to the total mass of the ink receiving layer 7 in terms of dry solid content. If the content is less than 5% by mass, impregnation with the melamine resin is poor, and blisters tend to occur during impregnation with the melamine resin by hot pressurization. On the other hand, when it is more than 50% by mass, the content of the casein resin in the ink-receiving layer 7 is large, so the adhesion between the ink-receiving layer 7 and the titanium paper 6 and the adhesion between the ink-receiving layer 7 and the pattern layer 5 are poor. Reduce.

The coating amount of the coating liquid is adjusted, for example, so that the dry solid content is 1.0 g/m 2 or more and 8.0 g/m 2 or less. That is, the dry solid content of the ink receiving layer 7 is set to 1.0 g/m 2 or more and 8.0 g/m 2 or less. If it is less than 1.0 g/m 2 , the basis weight of the dry solid content of the ink-receiving layer 7 is small, so the content of silica in the ink-receiving layer 7 is small and the reflection density is reduced. On the other hand, when it is more than 8.0 g/m 2 , the basis weight of the dry solid content of the ink receiving layer 7 is large, so the resin content of the ink receiving layer 7 is large, and the decorative paper impregnated body is pressed under heat and pressure. 3 (decorative board 1) swells.
As described above, since the titanium printing paper 4 according to the embodiment of the present invention is provided with the ink-receiving layer 7, the pattern layer 5 can be formed on the titanium printing paper 4 by printing by gravure printing or ink-jet printing. , the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 and the decorative board 1 with excellent design can be manufactured.

(picture layer)
The pattern layer 5 is a layer for providing the decorative board 1 with a design by means of a pattern. The pattern layer 5 is formed using a printing ink or the like obtained by dissolving or dispersing a colorant such as a pigment together with a suitable binder resin in a suitable diluent solvent. The printing ink or the like is applied by, for example, a gravure printing method, an offset printing method, an inkjet printing method, or the like. As the binder resin, for example, urethane-based resin, acrylic-based resin, vinyl acetate-based resin, polyimide-based resin, nitrocellulose, or a mixture thereof can be used. As the pattern, any pattern can be used, for example, a wood grain pattern, a stone grain pattern, a texture pattern, an abstract pattern, a geometric pattern, a letter, a symbol, a single-color plain pattern, or a combination of two or more of these patterns. etc. can be used.

(Other layers)
Further, the decorative board 1 may be provided with an overlay layer 8 on the surface 5a of the pattern layer 5, for example, in addition to the substrate 2 and the decorative paper-impregnated body 3, like the melamine resin decorative board. As the overlay layer 8, for example, overlay paper or overlay film can be used.

As described above, the printing titanium paper 4 according to the embodiment of the present invention is formed by forming the ink receiving layer 7 on the surface of the titanium paper 6 . The ink-receiving layer 7 contains 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less of silica with respect to the total mass of the ink-receiving layer 7 . Also, the dry solid content was adjusted to be 1.0 g/m 2 or more and 8.0 g/m 2 or less. Therefore, since the amount of resin contained in the ink receiving layer 7 is appropriate, swelling of the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 can be prevented during heat and pressure press processing. Moreover, since the amount of silica contained in the ink-receiving layer 7 becomes appropriate, the ink-receiving layer 7 having a high reflection density can be formed. Therefore, it is possible to provide the printing titanium paper 4 excellent in press workability and designability. Therefore, the pattern layer 5 can be formed by printing by gravure printing or ink jet method, and the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 or the decorative board 1 with excellent design can be manufactured.

Further, in the titanium printing paper 4 according to the embodiment of the present invention, the ink-receiving layer 7 contains 5% by mass or more and 50% by mass or less of casein resin with respect to the total mass of the ink-receiving layer 7 . Therefore, the ink-receiving layer 7 having high adhesion to the titanium paper 6 and the pattern layer 5 can be formed.
Furthermore, in the decorative board 1 according to the embodiment of the present invention, the titanium printing paper 4, the pattern layer 5 laminated on one surface 4a of the titanium printing paper 4, and the other surface 4b of the titanium printing paper 4 Since it is provided with the substrate 2 formed on the substrate 2, it is possible to provide the decorative board 1 excellent in press workability and design.

EXAMPLES Examples and comparative examples according to embodiments of the present invention will be described below. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the following examples.

(Example 1)
First, as shown in FIG. 1, as the titanium paper 6, titanium paper having an ash content of 20% by mass with respect to the total mass of the titanium paper 6 was prepared. Subsequently, one surface (surface 6a) of the titanium paper 6 was coated with a coating liquid for the ink-receiving layer 7 containing silica and casein resin by gravure printing to form the ink-receiving layer 7 . The coating liquid contained 55% by mass of silica and 45% by mass of casein resin with respect to the total mass of the ink-receiving layer 7 in terms of dry solid content. The coating amount of the coating liquid was adjusted so that the dry solid content was 3.5 g/m 2 . That is, the ink-receiving layer 7 is composed of 55% by mass (within a range of 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less) of silica and 45% by mass (5% by mass or more and 50% by mass of casein resin) of the total mass of the ink-receiving layer 7 . % by mass or less), and the dry solid content was set to 3.5 g/m 2 (within the range of 1.0 g/m 2 or more and 8.0 g/m 2 or less). Thus, printing titanium paper 4 of Example 1 was formed.

Subsequently, printing ink was applied to the surface 4a of the printing titanium paper 4 on the side of the ink receiving layer 7 by gravure printing to form the picture layer 5. As shown in FIG. As the printing ink, for example, a water-based gravure ink ("Casein resin-containing water-based ink" manufactured by Toyo Ink Co., Ltd.) was used. The coating amount of water-based gravure ink was 1.2 g/m 2 . Subsequently, the laminated body of the printing titanium paper 4 and the pattern layer 5 was subjected to heat and pressure press (heat and pressure molding) by a heat and pressure press machine to form the decorative paper impregnated body 3 . The temperature was 145° C., the pressure was 80 kg/cm 2 and the time was 10 minutes.
Subsequently, two sheets of core paper impregnated with phenol formaldehyde resin were laminated on the surface of the overlay paper impregnated with melamine formaldehyde resin. Subsequently, the impregnated decorative paper 3 was laminated on the surface of the core paper. Subsequently, an overlay layer 8 made of overlay paper impregnated with a melamine formaldehyde resin was laminated on the surface 3a of the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 . Subsequently, the laminated body of the overlay paper, the core paper, the decorative paper-impregnated body 3, and the overlay layer 8 was subjected to heat and pressure press by a heat and pressure press machine to form the decorative sheet 1 of Example 1.

(performance evaluation)
The following performance evaluations were performed on the decorative paper impregnated bodies 3 of Examples 1 to 5 and Comparative Examples 1 to 7.
(Reflection density evaluation)
In the reflection density evaluation, the reflection density of the pattern (printed image) of the picture layer 5 of the decorative board 1 was measured using a spectrophotometer (“eXact” manufactured by X-Rite Co., Ltd.). As the evaluation criteria, a reflection density of 1.6 or more was evaluated as "◯", and a reflection density of less than 1.6 was evaluated as "x".
(Evaluation of suitability for impregnation)
In the impregnation aptitude evaluation, the appearance of the surface of the decorative board 1 (swelling of the decorative board 1) was evaluated. As the evaluation criteria, "O" was given when there was no swelling, and "X" was given when there was swelling.
(Adhesion evaluation)
In the adhesion evaluation, the edge of the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 was artificially separated from the substrate 2 with a width of 1 inch, a tensile load was applied with a tensile tester at room temperature, and the load at the time of separation was measured. The pulling speed was 50 mm/min. As the evaluation criteria, a load of 19.6 N/inch or more at the time of peeling was evaluated as "◯", and a load of less than 19.6 N/inch was evaluated as "X".

(Evaluation results)
These evaluation results are shown in Table 1.

Figure 0007127348000001
Figure 0007127348000001

As shown in Table 1, the decorative laminates 1 of Examples 1 to 5 were evaluated as "good" in reflection density evaluation, impregnation adequacy evaluation and adhesion evaluation. Therefore, the comprehensive evaluation of reflection density evaluation, impregnation adequacy evaluation, and adhesion evaluation was "Good".
On the other hand, in the decorative laminate 1 of Comparative Example 1, since the content of silica in the ink-receiving layer 7 was small, the reflection density of the printed image was low, and the reflection density evaluation was "X". Further, in the decorative laminate 1 of Comparative Example 2, since the content of silica in the ink-receiving layer 7 was large, the coating liquid could not be applied, and the reflection density evaluation was "x". Further, in the decorative laminate 1 of Comparative Example 3, since the basis weight of the dry solid content of the ink-receiving layer 7 was small, the silica content of the ink-receiving layer 7 was small, and the reflection density evaluation was "x".

Furthermore, in the decorative board 1 of Comparative Example 4, since the basis weight of the dry solid content of the ink-receiving layer 7 is large, the resin content of the ink-receiving layer 7 is large, and the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 swells during hot pressing. , the impregnation adequacy evaluation was "x". Also, the resin content of the ink-receiving layer 7 of the decorative board 1 of Comparative Example 5 was high, and the decorative paper-impregnated body 3 swelled during heating and pressurization, and the impregnation suitability evaluation was "X".
Further, in the decorative board 1 of Comparative Example 6, since the content of the casein resin in the ink-receiving layer 7 is small, impregnation of the melamine-based resin by the ink-receiving layer 7 is poor. Blistering (blister) and impregnation adequacy evaluation were "x". Furthermore, in the decorative laminate 1 of Comparative Example 7, since the content of casein resin in the ink-receiving layer 7 is large, the adhesion between the ink-receiving layer 7 and the titanium paper 6 and the adhesion between the ink-receiving layer 7 and the pattern layer 5 are improved. decreased, and the adhesion evaluation was "x".

As a result, for each of the decorative boards 1 of Comparative Examples 1 to 7, any one of the reflection density evaluation, the impregnation suitability evaluation, and the adhesion evaluation was "x", and the overall judgment was made by the reflection density evaluation, the impregnation suitability evaluation, and the adhesion evaluation. was "x", that is, failed. Therefore, the decorative laminates 1 of Examples 1 to 5 had better reflection density evaluation, impregnation adequacy evaluation, and adhesion evaluation than the decorative laminates 1 of Comparative Examples 1 to 7, and had press workability, design properties, and adhesion strength. (peel strength) was confirmed to be excellent.
