Description
The present invention relates to an absorber and a method for producing the same.
In absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, the absorbent body that absorbs excrement such as urine is generally an absorbent core containing a fiber material such as pulp fiber or a water-absorbing polymer, and a covering material for covering the absorbent core. And have. Further, it is known that the absorbent core and the covering material are bonded to each other by a hot melt adhesive. For example,
Further, in
Further, the applicant is an absorbent article comprising an absorbent body in which the absorbent core and the coating material covering the absorbent core are fixed by an adhesive, and the skin-facing surface of the absorbent core. We propose an absorbent article in which the coated area ratio of the adhesive on the side is lower than the coated area ratio of the adhesive on the non-skin facing surface side of the absorbent core (Patent Document 3).
The absorbent body described in
The absorber described in Patent Document 3 has room for improvement in both stability and flexibility of the shape of the absorber.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide an absorber capable of eliminating the above-mentioned drawbacks of the prior art and a method for producing the same.
The present invention is an absorber provided with an absorbent core containing a fiber material and a water-absorbent polymer, wherein the absorbent core has a hot melt adhesive on at least one of a skin facing surface side and a non-skin facing surface side. It provides an absorber having a soaked agent present portion and a non-impregnated agent absent portion of the hot melt adhesive.
The present invention also provides a method for producing an absorbent body, wherein the hot melt adhesive is applied to at least one of the skin-facing surface and the non-skin facing surface of the absorbent core to produce the absorbent body. It is something to do.
According to the absorber of the present invention, the stability and flexibility of the shape of the absorber can be compatible with each other.
Further, according to the method for producing an absorber of the present invention, it is possible to produce an absorber having both stability and flexibility in the shape of the absorber.
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described based on the preferred embodiment thereof with reference to the drawings. 1 to 3 show a disposable diaper 1 (hereinafter, also referred to as "
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the
As shown in FIG. 2, the
In the present specification, the "skin facing surface" is a surface of the front and back surfaces of each member such as the
As shown in FIG. 2, in the
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
The
As shown in FIG. 4, the
As shown in FIG. 5, the

The

The

The thickness D1 of the
Place the absorbent core on a horizontal surface without wrinkles or bends, and cut out any measurement point (measurement piece). The measurement pieces shall be 3 points or more including any 1 or more points for each of the

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 7, the agent-
From the viewpoint of the balance between the amount of absorption and the strength of the absorber, the area of the agent-preserving

As shown in FIG. 4, the agent-

The absorber of the present invention is an absorber for an absorbent article. Absorbable articles are mainly used for absorbing and retaining body fluids excreted from the body such as urine and menstrual blood. Absorbent articles include, but are not limited to, disposable diapers, menstrual napkins, urine absorbing pads, panty liners, etc., and broadly include articles used for absorbing liquid discharged from the human body.
Next, the method for producing the absorber of the present invention will be described by taking as an example the method for producing the
As described above, in the
As a method for applying the hot melt adhesive, a known method can be used, and examples thereof include a coater type, a gravure type, a letterpress type, and a bead type. From the viewpoint of pulp scattering and hot melt penetration distance, the method of applying the hot melt adhesive is preferably a bead method.
The hot melt adhesive is preferably of low viscosity from the viewpoint of easily impregnating the
As the low-viscosity hot melt adhesive, it is preferable to use one having a viscosity measured by the following method of 1 mPa · s or more and 5000 mPa · s or less.
"Viscosity" is measured at a temperature of 160 ° C. using a Brookfield B-type viscometer according to JISZ8803.

Further, it is preferably 5 g / m 2 or more and 50 g / m 2 or less, and more preferably 10 g / m 2 or more and 40 g / m 2 or less.
