Description
Claims (7)
- 画像生成装置であって、
別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像に対してリプロジェクション処理を施すリプロジェクション部と、
リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像であってユーザの姿勢に関係なく画面の一定の位置に表示されるべき重畳画像を前記リプロジェクション部によるリプロジェクション処理後の画像に合成する合成部とを含み、
前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像は、あらかじめ当該画像生成装置に記憶されており、前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像を前記リプロジェクション部によるリプロジェクション処理後の画像に合成するために必要な合成情報が、前記別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像のメタデータとして提供されることを特徴とする画像生成装置。 - 前記合成情報は、前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像を合成する位置に関する情報を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の画像生成装置。
- 前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像は、前記別のデバイスと当該画像生成装置との間で一意に特定可能な識別情報が付与され、前記識別情報が前記メタデータに含まれることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の画像生成装置。
- 前記メタデータは前記別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像のフレームデータに同期して伝送される同期信号に挿入されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の画像生成装置。
- 前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像のフレームレートは、前記別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像のフレームレートよりも低いことを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の画像生成装置。
- 画像生成装置における画像生成方法であって、
別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像に対してリプロジェクション処理を施すリプロジェクションステップと、
リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像であってユーザの姿勢に関係なく画面の一定の位置に表示されるべき重畳画像を前記リプロジェクションステップによるリプロジェクション処理後の画像に合成する合成ステップとを含み、
前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像は、あらかじめ当該画像生成装置に記憶されており、前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像を前記リプロジェクションステップによるリプロジェクション処理後の画像に合成するために必要な合成情報が、前記別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像のメタデータとして提供されることを特徴とする画像生成装置における画像生成方法。 - 別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像に対してリプロジェクション処理を施すリプロジェクション機能と、
リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像であってユーザの姿勢に関係なく画面の一定の位置に表示されるべき重畳画像を前記リプロジェクション機能によるリプロジェクション処理後の画像に合成する合成機能とをコンピュータに実現させ、
前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像は、あらかじめ当該コンピュータに記憶されており、前記リプロジェクション処理の対象外の重畳画像を前記リプロジェクション機能によるリプロジェクション処理後の画像に合成するために必要な合成情報が、前記別のデバイスでレンダリングされた画像のメタデータとして提供されることを特徴とするプログラム。
