Description
The present invention relates to a method for producing an absorbent article such as a disposable diaper or a urine pad.
Conventionally, absorbent articles such as disposable diapers, urine pads and sanitary napkins have been known. The absorbent article is provided with a top sheet that is liquid permeable and comes into contact with the skin surface, and an absorber having a fiber material such as pulp or rayon and a highly absorbent polymer. Liquid water, such as urine and menstrual blood, excreted by the wearer penetrates the topsheet and is absorbed and retained by the absorber.
Various techniques have been proposed to improve the fit of absorbent articles when worn, as well as the absorption and retention performance of excrement. For example,
One of the purposes of this case is to manufacture an absorbent article having improved performance for maintaining the shape of the recess. Not limited to this purpose, it is also possible to exert actions and effects derived from each configuration shown in the "mode for carrying out the invention" described later, which cannot be obtained by the conventional technique. It can be positioned as another purpose.
The inventor of this case diligently examined the above-mentioned problems. As a result, in the step of obtaining the absorber, the content of each of the highly absorbent polymer and the fiber material at the position corresponding to the recess of the absorbent core is set to a value within a predetermined range, and in the step of providing the recess, the clearance between the rolls is set. It has been found that by setting the pressure applied to the laminate from the roll and the pressure within a predetermined range, the shape-maintaining performance of the recesses can be enhanced and the leakage of the highly absorbent polymer can be suppressed. Then, the method for producing the absorbent article illustrated below has been completed.
The method for producing an absorbent article disclosed herein includes a first step of coating an absorbent core containing a highly absorbent polymer and a fiber material with a wrap sheet to obtain an absorber, and the absorbent body obtained in the first step. In the second step of arranging a liquid-permeable top sheet on the surface facing the skin of the above to obtain a laminate, and passing the laminate obtained in the second step between a pair of rolls, the absorber and the said The top sheet is squeezed in the thickness direction to provide a recess on the skin-facing surface side of the laminate. In the first step, the absorbent core is provided at a position corresponding to the recess. The content of the highly absorbent polymer is 75 g / m 2 or more and 300 g / m 2 or less, and the content of the fiber material is 75 g / m 2 or more and 250 g / m 2 or less. The clearance between the rolls is 0.1 mm or more and 0.5 mm or less, and the pressure applied from the rolls to the laminate is 1.2 MPa or more and 2.0 MPa or less.
According to the present invention, it is possible to manufacture an absorbent article having improved performance for maintaining the shape of the recess.
Hereinafter, a mode for carrying out this case will be described. The following embodiments are merely examples, and there is no intention of excluding the application of various modifications and techniques not specified in this embodiment. Each configuration of the present embodiment can be variously modified and implemented without departing from the gist thereof. In addition, it can be selected as needed and can be combined as appropriate.
The absorbent article described in the embodiment is a hygienic product that is attached to the wearer and absorbs and retains the water of excrement such as urine and feces excreted from the wearer (hereinafter referred to as “excreted water”). These absorbent articles include those that are worn directly to the wearer, such as tape-type and pants-type disposable diapers (so-called "disposable diapers"), as well as urine pads, menstrual napkins, and panty liners. It also includes those worn on the wearer's underwear.
In the following embodiment, in a disposable diaper as an absorbent article, the front body arranged facing the abdomen of the wearer and the rear body arranged facing the back of the wearer are placed on the extending surface of the disposable diaper. The direction of connecting with is the longitudinal direction. On the extending surface of the disposable diaper, between the front body (one side in the longitudinal direction) and the back body (the other side in the longitudinal direction) (center in the longitudinal direction), it is placed in the inseam of the wearer (opposing the crotch). The inseam is located. In addition, when the disposable diaper is worn on the wearer (hereinafter abbreviated as "wearing state"), the side facing the skin of the wearer (inside in the worn state) is defined as the skin facing surface side, and the skin facing surface side. The opposite side (outside) of the skin is the non-skin facing side. Further, the direction connecting the skin facing surface side and the skin non-facing surface side is the thickness direction, and the direction orthogonal to both the longitudinal direction and the thickness direction is the width direction. In addition, viewing from the side facing the skin in the thickness direction is defined as a plan view. The width direction in a plan view is also referred to as a left-right direction.
Regarding the orientation of each configuration in a disposable diaper, for example, when expressed along the longitudinal direction, it shall include not only parallel to the longitudinal direction but also substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction. Specifically, it is assumed that the inclination angle with respect to the longitudinal direction extends below 45 ° along the longitudinal direction. Similarly, when it is expressed along each direction such as the width direction and the thickness direction, it means that the inclination angle with respect to each direction extends at less than 45 °. In this specification, for example, the notation of the numerical range of "1 to 100" includes both the lower limit value "1" and the upper limit value "100". The same applies to the notation of other numerical ranges.
In this embodiment, a tape-type disposable diaper is exemplified as an absorbent article. The tape-type disposable diaper has a front body and a rear body separated before and after the waist circumference, unlike the pants-type disposable diaper in which the wearer's waist circumference is continuously formed in a circumferential shape. This tape-type disposable diaper is worn by various wearers such as infants and adults requiring long-term care. Hereinafter, "tape-type disposable diapers" are simply abbreviated as "diapers".

[1. Absorbent article]
[1-1. Basic configuration]
The basic configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 1, the

Hereinafter, each component of the

The
The
<吸収体>
<Absorber>
The
As shown in FIG. 3, the
(Absorbable core)
The
As the highly

<Top sheet>
The
As the material constituting the
<Back sheet>
The

<Side seat>
The
As shown in FIG. 3, the
The
The "fineness" is a parameter corresponding to the fiber diameter (thickness) and the cross-sectional area of the fiber, and is represented by the weight per predetermined length. For example, the number of grams per 10,000 m (decitex) for one fiber is used as the "fineness". The "weight of basis weight" is a parameter corresponding to the thickness or the degree of stacking of the sheets, and is expressed by the weight per unit area.

[1-2. Detailed configuration]
Next, the detailed configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 1, a
The
According to the
In order to maintain the shape of the
Further, it is preferable that the
At the position corresponding to the
Further, at the position corresponding to the
As shown in FIG. 4, in the
For example, when the convex thickness T1 is lower than the above range or the concave thickness T2 is higher than the above range even if the contents of the highly
The
Alternatively, the contents of the highly
In terms of industrial production, it is preferable that the contents of the highly
[2. Production method]
The process (manufacturing method) for manufacturing the above-mentioned
As shown in FIG. 7, first, an absorbent material containing a highly
Next, the above-mentioned
Subsequently, the laminate 10 composed of the
In the present embodiment, as described above, the groove-shaped
In the present embodiment, the
By using the pair of
When the laminate 10 is passed between the
When the clearance CL is less than 0.1 mm, the concave thickness T2 of the
When the
When the press pressure P is equal to or higher than the above lower limit value, the clearance CL between the

[3. Action and effect]
Since the
Conventionally, it has been proposed to form a recess in the thickness direction with respect to the absorber. When the absorber is provided with a recess, the elasticity of the fibrous material contained in the absorbent core may cause the recess to be deformed so as to be restored to a flat surface. For this reason, it may not be possible to maintain the shape of the absorber having the recessed portion in the process of transporting or storing the disposable diaper. When the disposable diaper is deformed in this way, the function of the concave portion of the absorber may be impaired.
(1) In the
As described above, in the
Therefore, according to the
Since the
(2) Since the
(3) Since the

Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to examples. The materials, amounts used, ratios, treatment contents, treatment procedures, etc. shown in the following examples can be appropriately changed as long as they do not deviate from the gist of the present invention. Therefore, the present invention is not limited to the following examples.
[Example 1]
An absorbent material, which is a mixture of a highly absorbent polymer and a fiber material, was deposited to obtain a mat-like absorbent core. Here, spherical particles made from sodium polyacrylate as a raw material were used as a highly absorbent polymer, and pulp fibers were used as a fiber material. In this absorbent core, the highly absorbent polymer and fibrous material were uniformly distributed regardless of the position of the recesses. That is, the contents of the highly absorbent polymer and the fibrous material were uniform in all regions of the absorbent core. As shown in Table 1 below, in this absorbent core, the content of the highly absorbent polymer (SAP amount) and the content of the fiber material (pulp amount) are 75 g, which are the lower limit values of the above-mentioned ranges, respectively. It was / m 2 .
Next, a hydrophilic spunbonded nonwoven fabric having a basis weight of 16 gsm (g / m 2 ) was used as a wrap sheet, and the above-mentioned absorbent core was coated with this wrap sheet to obtain an absorber. The area of this absorber on the skin-facing surface side was 0.0284 m 2 . Subsequently, a non-woven fabric having a basis weight of 22 gsm (manufactured by Fukusuke Kogyo Co., Ltd., model number: FZ2) was used as a top sheet, and this top sheet was laminated on the above-mentioned absorber to obtain a laminated body. Further, the laminate is passed between a pair of rolls to squeeze the absorber and the top sheet in the thickness direction, and a grid-like recess shown in FIG. 1 is formed on the skin facing surface side of the laminate to form Example 1. The laminated body of was produced. That is, the formation of the concave portion was performed by passing a laminated body between the press roll having a grid-like convex shape and the anvil roll facing the press roll.
As shown in Table 1, in the laminated body of Example 1, the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 were values within the above ranges, respectively. The convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 were adjusted by adjusting the clearance CL between the rolls passing through the laminated body and the press pressure P applied to the laminated body from these rolls. As shown in Table 1, when the laminate of Example 1 was produced, the clearance CL and the press pressure P were values within the above ranges, respectively. The shaft temperature of the press roll and the anvil roll was set to 60 ° C., which is higher than the ambient temperature (room temperature).
[Examples 2 to 4]
As shown in Table 1, with respect to the laminate of Example 1, only the pulp amount was increased to 150 g / m 2, 200 g / m 2, and 250 g / m 2 , which are within the above range, respectively. It was set to 2-4. The laminates of Examples 2 to 4 are the same as those of Example 1 except for the amount of pulp, and when the laminates of Examples 2 to 4 are produced, the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 are examples. The clearance CL and the press pressure P were adjusted so as to be the same as those in 1. Also in Examples 2 to 4, the clearance CL and the press pressure P were values within the above ranges, respectively.
[Examples 5 to 7]
As shown in Table 1, the laminates of Examples 2 to 4 in which only the SAP amount was increased to 200 g / m 2 within the above range were designated as Examples 5 to 7, respectively. The laminates of Examples 5 to 7 are the same as those of Examples 2 to 4 except for the amount of SAP, and the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 are also used when the laminates of Examples 5 to 7 are manufactured. The clearance CL and the press pressure P were adjusted so that Also in Examples 5 to 7, the clearance CL and the press pressure P were values within the above ranges, respectively.
[Examples 8 to 10]
As shown in Table 1, the laminates of Examples 2 to 4 in which the SAP amount was increased to 300 g / m 2 , which is the upper limit of the above range, were designated as Examples 8 to 10, respectively. The laminates of Examples 8 to 10 are the same as those of Examples 2 to 4 except for the amount of SAP, and the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 are also used when the laminates of Examples 8 to 10 are manufactured. The clearance CL and the press pressure P were adjusted so that Also in Examples 8 to 10, the clearance CL and the press pressure P were values within the above ranges, respectively.
[Examples 11 to 19]
As shown in Table 1, with respect to the laminate of Example 6, the clearance CL and the press pressure P at the time of production were increased or decreased within the above range while maintaining the SAP amount and the pulp amount, in Examples 11 to 11. It was set to 19. That is, the laminated bodies of Examples 11 to 19 have different convex thickness T1 and concave thickness T2, respectively, because the clearance CL and the press pressure P at the time of manufacture are different from those of Example 6. .. In Examples 11 to 19, the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 were values within the above ranges, respectively.
[Comparative Examples 1 to 13]
As shown in Table 1, Comparative Examples 1 to 13 were obtained by setting at least one of the SAP amount and the pulp amount to a value outside the above range. Specifically, those in which only the SAP amount is smaller or larger than the above range are designated as Comparative Examples 1 to 4, 11 to 13, and those in which only the pulp amount is smaller or larger than the above range are compared with Comparative Examples 5 to 5. It was set to 10. The laminates of Comparative Examples 1 to 13 are the same as those of Example 1 except for the amount of SAP and the amount of pulp, and when the laminates of Comparative Examples 1 to 13 are produced, the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 are used. The clearance CL and the press pressure P were adjusted so that
[Comparative Examples 14 and 15]
As shown in Table 1, Comparative Examples 14 and 15 were obtained by setting both the SAP amount and the pulp amount to values outside the above range. The laminates of Comparative Examples 14 and 15 are the same as those of Example 1 except for the amount of SAP and the amount of pulp. When the laminates of Comparative Examples 14 and 15 are produced, the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 are used. The clearance CL and the press pressure P were adjusted so that
[Comparative Examples 16 to 23]
As shown in Table 1, comparison of the laminate of Example 6 in which at least one of the clearance CL and the press pressure P at the time of production was set to a value outside the above range while maintaining the SAP amount and the pulp amount. Examples 16 to 13 were used. Specifically, those in which at least the clearance CL is smaller than the above range are referred to as Comparative Examples 16 to 18, those in which only the press pressure P is out of the above range are referred to as Comparative Examples 19 and 20, and at least the clearance CL is described above. The ones larger than the range of were designated as Comparative Examples 21 to 23. Since the laminates of Comparative Examples 16 to 23 have different clearance CL and press pressure P at the time of manufacture from those of Example 6, the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 are also different from each other.
[Evaluation method]
The following fixing rate measurement and polymer leakage test were performed on the laminates of Examples 1 to 19 and Comparative Examples 1 to 23 to evaluate the shape maintenance performance and the polymer leakage.
<Measurement of retention rate>
The paper diapers provided with the laminated bodies of each example and the comparative example were gently attached to a flat drawing board so that the skin-facing surface side of the laminated body was exposed, and used as an evaluation sample. Here, five evaluation samples of each example and comparative example were prepared. Subsequently, as shown by a thick line in FIG. 5, among the grids formed by the recesses, three straight and continuous grids were set as one set, and five sets at intervals were set as measurement targets. That is, assuming that each of the four linear portions forming one lattice in the recess is a "side", 50 sides are the measurement targets in each evaluation sample. The side to be measured is not limited to this, and may be appropriately changed according to the configuration of the concave portion.
Next, the tip of the pen was moved by touching it near the side of each evaluation sample, and it was confirmed whether the top sheet had a float. More specifically, it was determined that the top sheet was lifted when the recess disappeared or the wrap sheet or back sheet moved with the movement of the pen. When it was difficult to make a judgment, the part to be measured was pulled, and when the side disappeared completely (it could not be seen), it was judged that the top sheet had a float. In addition, for each side, if the part where the float is seen on the top sheet is larger than half, it is judged as "NG", and when the part where the float is seen on the top sheet is less than half, it is "OK". It was judged. Then, in each evaluation sample, the number of sides determined to be "NG" (hereinafter referred to as "NG number") Nn was counted.
Subsequently, for each Example and Comparative Example, the average value Nm of the five NG numbers Nn obtained from the five evaluation samples was calculated. Then, this average value Nm and the number of sides Nt (here, 50) as the measurement target were applied to the following formula (1) to calculate the fixing rate.
Retention rate [%] = (1-Nm / Nt) x 100 ... (1)
As shown by the formula (1), the fixing rate is the ratio of the sides determined to be "OK" among the sides to be measured. That is, the fixing rate represents the shape-maintaining performance of the
<Polymer leak test>
As shown in FIG. 6, a 200-
Subsequently, holding the dorsal side and the ventral side of the paper diapers of each example and the comparative example, while keeping the paper diapers parallel to the
The number of polymers indicates the susceptibility to polymer leakage, and the smaller the value, the less likely the highly absorbent polymer will damage the wrap sheet or top sheet, and the less likely it is that polymer leakage will occur (highly absorbent polymer is a laminate). It is hard to leak from). The number of small polymers N1 is usually 7 or less, preferably 5 or less, more preferably 4 or less, still more preferably 3 or less in each of the above three regions. The number of large polymers is usually 5 or less, preferably 3 or less, more preferably 2 or less, still more preferably 1 or less in each of the above three regions.
〔Evaluation results〕
The evaluation results by the above-mentioned evaluation method are shown in Table 2 below. In the small polymer number N1 and the large polymer number N2 shown in Table 2, the three values separated by slashes (/) correspond to the above-mentioned three regions. That is, of the three values described as the number of small polymers N1 and the number of large polymers N2, the value on the left side indicates the number of polymers in the region corresponding to the front body, and the value in the center indicates the number of polymers in the region corresponding to the lower crotch. The value on the right side indicates the number of polymers in the region corresponding to the back body.
As is clear from Table 2, the paper diapers of Examples 1 to 19 have a relatively high fixing rate as compared with the paper diapers of Comparative Examples 1 to 23, and the number of small polymers N1 and the number of large polymers N2 are both relatively high. There were few. More specifically, in all of Examples 1 to 19, the fixing rate is 89% or more, the number of small polymers N1 is 7 or less in all of the above-mentioned three regions, and the number of large polymers N2 is described above. The number was 5 or less in all three areas.
On the other hand, in Comparative Examples 1 to 15 in which the convex thickness T1 and the concave thickness T2 are both values within the above range, but at least one of the SAP amount and the pulp amount is a value outside the above range, the fixing rate is 89. Even if the retention rate was 89% or more, the number of small polymers N1 and the number of large polymers N2 were both 8 or more in at least one of the above-mentioned three regions. More specifically, in Comparative Examples 1 to 15 having a fixing rate of 89% or more, at least one of the small polymer number N1 and the large polymer number N2 is 14 or more in at least one of the above-mentioned three regions. Moreover, the number of small polymers N1 and the number of large polymers N2 were both 6 or more in all of the above-mentioned three regions. Further, among Comparative Examples 1 to 15, those in which the number of small polymers N1 and the number of large polymers N2 were both suppressed to 5 or less in all of the above-mentioned three regions did not reach 89%. Therefore, none of Comparative Examples 1 to 15 can achieve both the maintenance of the shape of the recess and the suppression of polymer leakage.
Further, even in Comparative Examples 16 to 23 in which at least one of the clearance CL and the press pressure P is a value outside the above range, although the SAP amount and the pulp amount are both values within the above range, the fixing rate is 89%. Even if there were some that did not meet the requirements and the fixing rate was 89% or more, the number of large polymers N2 was 6 or more in at least one of the above-mentioned three regions. In most of Comparative Examples 16 to 23 having a fixing rate of 89% or more (Comparative Examples 16 to 18), at least one of the small polymer number N1 and the large polymer number N2 is at least one of the above-mentioned three regions. The number was 12 or more, and the number of small polymers N1 and the number of large polymers N2 were both 8 or more in all of the above-mentioned three regions. Further, among Comparative Examples 16 to 23, those in which the large number of polymers N2 was suppressed to 5 or less in all of the above-mentioned three regions did not reach the retention rate of 89%. Therefore, none of Comparative Examples 16 to 23 can achieve both the maintenance of the shape of the recess and the suppression of polymer leakage.
From this result, it can be said that the disposable diapers of Examples 1 to 19 are superior in the shape-maintaining performance of the recesses and can suppress polymer leakage as compared with the disposable diapers of Comparative Examples 1 to 23.
