As a background technology in this technical field, there is Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2017-66956 (Patent Document 1).
The prior art has the following problems.
One end of the fuel pump intake pipe is fixed to the body and the other is connected to the low pressure pipe. Since the fuel pump is fixed to the engine of the vehicle, it is required to have durability against vibration. Further, when the suction pipe is thin, it is required to facilitate the welding work.
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a fuel pump in which a pipe is attached to a body by welding to improve the durability of the welded portion against vibration.
In order to solve the above problems, in the present invention, in a fuel pump provided with a pipe formed of stainless steel and through which fuel flows and a body to which the pipe is attached, the body is inserted with the pipe. It has a recessed portion and an inlet surface formed in a direction intersecting the insertion direction of the pipe on the outer peripheral side of the inlet portion of the recessed portion, and is inserted into the inlet surface on the outer peripheral side of the pipe. A welded portion formed so as to be convex in the direction opposite to the direction and formed on the inlet surface and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe is provided.
According to the present invention, in a fuel pump in which a pipe is attached to a body by welding, it is possible to provide a fuel pump that improves durability against vibration of a welded portion.
Other configurations, actions, and effects of the present invention will be described in detail in the following examples.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
First, the first embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.
The configuration and operation of the system will be described with reference to the overall configuration diagram of the engine system shown in FIG.
The part surrounded by the broken line indicates the main body of the high-pressure fuel pump (hereinafter referred to as the fuel pump), and the mechanism / parts shown in the broken line are integrated into the body 1 (may be called the pump body). Indicates that it is.
The fuel in the
The fuel flowing in from the low-pressure

Further, FIG. 4 is a vertical cross-sectional view of the fuel pump as viewed in a vertical cross section different from that of FIG. FIG. 5 is a horizontal sectional view of an example of the
The fuel pump of this embodiment uses the mounting flange 1e (FIG. 3) provided on the
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, an O-
As shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, a
The
At the lower end of the
Further, the
The
That is, the
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, a
The fuel that has passed through the low-pressure
When the
After the
In this state, when a control signal from the engine control unit 101 (hereinafter referred to as an ECU) is applied to the electromagnetic
Therefore, the
That is, the ascending stroke from the lower start point to the upper start point of the
That is, less fuel is returned to the
By controlling the energization timing of the
When there is no fuel differential pressure between the pressurizing
A pressure
The
As a result, it is possible to reduce the fuel flow rate inside and outside the pump during the suction stroke or the return stroke of the pump, and it has a function of reducing the pressure pulsation generated inside the fuel pump.
FIG. 5 is a horizontal sectional view showing an example of the
The suction pipe welded

FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating the
The
A
The shape of the
The
As described above, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 7, the fuel pump of the present embodiment includes a pipe (suction pipe 5) formed of stainless steel and through which fuel flows, and a
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the
Further, it is desirable that the
When welding is performed on the side surface of the
The laser beam L is irradiated so that the entire plate thickness of the
In the case of a fuel pump, the
The end portion of the
FIG. 9 shows an example in which the press-fitting portion 5ba, which is a part of the suction
However, the press-fitting portion 5ba is not limited to being partially press-fitted as shown in FIG. 9, and may be press-fitted to a range up to the welded portion 1h. By press-fitting, the
