Description

The present invention relates to a method of knitting and integrating the upper ends of the first and second knitting portions by a flat knitting machine.

In recent years, various knit products have been manufactured by machine knitting. In particular, the flat knitting machine can increase or decrease the knitting width and knit the knitted fabric into any shape. Can be molded.

In a flat knitting machine, a carriage is generally reciprocated in a left-right (horizontal) direction, which is the knitting direction, on a pair of front and rear needle beds, and a cam arranged in the carriage moves the knitting needles of the needle bed up and down. The operation of hooking the knitting yarn that is reciprocated between the pair of front and rear needle beds with the front and rear knitting needles and passing through the old loop to create a new loop is repeated to form a knitted fabric in which the loops are entwined.

Further, the so-called V-bet type in which a pair of front and rear needle beds are combined in an inverted V shape is the mainstream. In such a V-bed type flat knitting machine, a bag knitted fabric can be knitted by alternately feeding the knitting yarns to the knitting needles on the front needle bed and the knitting needles on the rear needle bed. .. Therefore, by combining bag knitting (cylinder knitting), the body portion and the sleeve portion are integrated to form one piece of clothing without sewing (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Already, in the flat knitting machine, the needle selection of the knitting needles arranged in parallel with the needle bed and the drive of the carriage for performing the knitting operation by the selected knitting needles are performed by computer control according to the program designed in advance by the design system. It is also possible to mass-produce knitwear in a shortened production process by cutting and sewing without cutting. Therefore, a method for designing a bag (cylindrical) knitted fabric for knitting by programming operation in a flat knitting machine has also been developed (see Patent Document 2).

In addition, as knit products without sewing by a flat knitting machine, it is conceivable to manufacture not only sweaters but also products with improved silhouettes such as so-called seamless gloves and socks by devising a knitting method using the flat knitting machine. (See Patent Document 3).

In recent years, it has been desired to manufacture knit products that have a wide variety of designs and functions, even for knit products that are not cut or sewn by a flat knitting machine, and moreover, they can be molded almost automatically and more efficiently. desired.

However, when a new design and function are added to a conventional knit product, it may be difficult to continuously form a special part without sewing only by the conventional knitting method. For example, in a sock for covering only the toe part, when a rubber string for hooking on the heel is provided in a ring shape, there is no choice but to prepare a separate rubber string and sew both ends thereof to the bag-shaped sock body. Further, although it was possible to continuously knit the string-shaped portion with rubber threads from both ends of the bag-shaped main body, it was not possible to connect the two rubber strings.

Also, in terms of design, knit products that can be efficiently constructed simply by connecting two symmetrical knitting parts, such as hats and hoods, can be considered, but these parts are knitted as a continuous process after knitting and integrated. It could not be connected.

In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to connect two knitting parts knitted in a flat knitting machine to each other by knitting them with the same flat knitting machine, which has been difficult in the past. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method capable of efficiently manufacturing a finished knit product by a flat knitting machine without sewing.

Is to knit the first knitting portion and the second knitting portion into an elastic strip shape by using an elastic yarn as the knitting yarn.
In the integration step, the upper ends of the first and second knitted portions knitted in a strip shape are knitted and integrated to form a continuous rubber string-shaped knitted fabric.

The method of knitting and integrating knitting portions by a flat knitting machine according to the fourth aspect of the invention is a method of knitting and integrating knitting portions of knitting portions by a flat knitting machine according to any one of claims 1 to 3. In the above, before the knitting portion forming step, a step of forming another knitting body by the same flat knitting machine is provided in advance.
In the knitting portion forming step, the first knitting portion and the second knitting portion are continuously formed from each predetermined portion of the upper end stitch of the other knitting.

The method for integrating knitting portions of knitting portions by a flat knitting machine according to the fifth aspect of the present invention is the same as the method of integrating knitting portions of knitting portions by a flat knitting machine according to claim 4. Is characterized by being a bag-shaped knitting machine.

In the method of integrating knitting portions of knitting portions by the flat knitting machine of the present invention, the first and second knitting portions formed earlier are arranged side by side by the flat knitting machine, and the upper end stitches of both knitting portions are aligned in a row. After that, the loops of the adjacent stitches of the first and second knitting parts are overlapped with each other, and the knitting yarn is pulled out from the overlapped loops to form a new knitting loop, and then the adjacent stitches are further formed. The work of stacking loops and pulling out the knitting yarn from these three stacked loops to form a new knitting loop is performed by moving all the remaining stitches on both outer sides except the stacked loops close to each other. By repeating this process in sequence while aligning the stitches, the upper end stitches of the first and second knitting portions can be knitted and integrated with each other by a flat knitting machine over the entire width direction.

Therefore, according to the present invention, if at least a pair of front and rear needle beds are provided and at least one needle bed is movably combined with respect to the other needle bed in the left-right lateral direction, a general existing needle bed is used. Even with a flat knitting machine, it is possible to mold knit products that could not be completed by integrating two knitting parts without sewing in the past, and efficiently provide a wide variety of knit products. It has the effect of making it possible.

In the method of knitting and integrating knitting portions between knitting portions by a flat knitting machine in the present invention, at least a pair of front and rear needle beds are provided, and at least one needle bed is combined so as to be movable in the left-right lateral direction with respect to the other needle bed. A method in which a first knitting portion and a second knitting portion are knitted and integrated with each other by a flat knitting machine, and the first knitting portion having a length and shape predetermined by the flat knitting machine is used. The knitting portion forming step of knitting the second knitting portion having a predetermined length and shape, and the first and second knitting portions are moved between the pair of needle beds while moving the pair of needle beds relative to each other. By shifting the upper end stitches of the knitting portion, the upper end stitches of the knitting portion are moved close to each other until they are adjacent to each other, and the upper end stitches of the first and second knitting portions are arranged in a substantially continuous row. It also includes an integration step of knitting and integrating the upper end stitches of the first and second knitting portions, and a stopping step of stopping the stitches at the end of knitting after the last knitting stitch.

Then, in the integration step, the loops of the stitches of the first knitting portion and the stitches of the second knitting portion adjacent to each other are superposed on one knitting needle on one needle bed, and from the two superposed loops. After the knitting yarn is pulled out to form a new first knitting loop, the loops of the stitches adjacent to each other are overlapped on one knitting needle to which the first knitting loop is applied, and the loops are overlapped on these three. The knitting yarn is pulled out from the stitch to form a new second knitting loop, and the work of forming this second knitting loop is repeated outwardly from the stitch loops to the outer end in sequence, and a pair. By the relative movement of the needle bed and the transfer between the pair of needle beds, the stitches remaining on the outside of the overlapping loops of the first and second knitting portions are moved closer to the center side of each other, and the remaining whole stitch is moved. The work of aligning the stitches in a row again is performed in conjunction with the work of forming the second knitting loop.

Therefore, by the above-mentioned integration step, both knitting portions are substantially knitted by sequentially overlapping loops from the first adjacent stitches at the upper ends of the first knitting portion and the second knitting portion to the outermost stitches. Since it can be integrated into a continuous knitted fabric, it is possible to mold knit products that could not be completed by integrating two knitted parts with each other without sewing by a flat knitting machine. It is possible to efficiently manufacture knit products in various forms. Moreover, the present invention does not require a specially modified new flat knitting machine, and includes at least a pair of front and rear needle beds and at least one needle bed moves laterally to the left and right with respect to the other needle bed. Any combination that is possible is effective, so an existing general flat knitting machine will suffice.

Since the last knitting loop formed by overlapping the loops of the outermost stitches of the first knitting portion and the second knitting portion is the knitting end stitch, the cut thread is used as a knitting stop step. You can do general knitting such as pulling out and tying.

According to the method of the present invention, for example, in a long knit product such as a towel or a muffler, it is necessary to form two strip-shaped knitted parts having half the length of the finished product at the same time and then integrate the upper ends of each other. Products of various lengths can be obtained. In this case, since the knitting time is only half the length, the entire manufacturing process is significantly shortened as compared with the case of knitting the entire length as one dough, and mass production with extremely high efficiency is realized. NS. Further, even if the product itself has a symmetrical shape, the left and right 1/2 portions are formed as the first and second knitting portions, and then the two portions are integrated into the product to reduce the manufacturing time and efficiency.

Such improvement in time saving efficiency is possible not only when the first and second knitting portions have the same shape but also when knitting portions having different shapes are integrated to form a product. According to the above method, various knit products can be manufactured without sewing more efficiently than before. For example, the main body part of the hat and the folded edge part or the brim part can be knitted as the first and second knitting parts, and then knitted and integrated without sewing, so that various designs can be supported.

Further, if elastic yarn is used as the knitting yarn, elasticity can be imparted to the first and second knitting portions of the band shape. Therefore, if both knitting portions are integrated, a continuous rubber string-like knitted fabric is used. Can also be formed. As the elastic yarn, a polyurethane yarn which has elasticity by itself, a synthetic resin yarn which is made by bulk processing a nylon or polyester synthetic fiber filament yarn to give elasticity, and a rubber yarn have been conventionally used. Knitting yarn can be used.

On the other hand, the first and second knitting portions can be formed continuously from another knitting portion. In this case, before the knitting portion forming step for forming the first and second knitting portions, a step of forming another knitting piece by the same flat knitting machine may be provided in advance, and this other knitting piece may be provided. The first knitting portion and the second knitting portion may be continuously knitted from each predetermined portion of the upper end stitch of the above.

When the first and second knitting portions are continuously formed from such another knitting portion and integrated with each other, this integrated portion becomes a portion protruding from the main body in a ring shape with the other knitting portion as the main body. If the first and second knitting portions are strip-shaped, the ring-shaped protruding portion can be a gripping portion and a hooking portion with respect to the main body. For example, if another knitting portion to be the main body is formed into a bag shape to form a bag or a bag, a hand-carrying portion or a shoulder strap can be provided without sewing.

Further, if the bag-shaped body is used as a sock for toes, the portion integrated in a ring shape by the first and second knitting portions becomes a heel fastening, and at least the first and second knitting portions are molded with elastic threads. By doing so, the heel clasp can be made into a rubber cord. In the past, only the bag-shaped main body of toe socks was knitted with a flat knitting machine, and the only way to fasten the heel was to sew both ends of another elastic cord to the main body, but according to the present invention, such a heel Almost all toe socks with clasps can be continuously and efficiently manufactured on the same flat knitting machine without sewing.

As an embodiment of the present invention, a case where the strip-shaped first knitting portion and the second knitting portion simultaneously formed by the flat knitting machine are integrated will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2. FIG. 1 is a process for explaining a stitch alignment step in which a strip-shaped first knitting portion 10 and a second knitting portion 20 formed at the same time with the same flat knitting machine and having the same knitting width are moved close to each other until they are adjacent to each other. It is a schematic diagram which shows. FIGS. 2 to 4 show each process for explaining the integration process after the stitch alignment process, and FIG. 2 shows a process in which adjacent loops are first overlapped to form a first knitting loop. It is a schematic diagram which shows. FIG. 3 shows the process following FIG. 2, FIG. 4 further shows the process following FIG. 3, and the state of each process until the formation of the second knitting loop is shown by substituting a photograph.

In this embodiment, a V-bed type flat knitting machine provided with a pair of front and rear needle beds in an inverted V shape in which the rear needle bed 1B can move one stitch at a time in the left-right lateral direction with respect to the front needle bed 1A. For example, a flat knitting machine SWG021N 2 manufactured by Shima Seiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd. is used, but FIGS. 1 and 2 are simplified schematic views for the sake of clarity. 1A, 1B) are shown in a plan view, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view.

As shown in FIG. 1A, the first knitting portion 10 and the second knitting portion 20 knitted in a strip shape between a pair of needle beds (1A, 1B) of the flat knitting machine to a predetermined length are , Since they are separated from each other to some extent in the left-right direction on the needle bed, they are moved close to each other so as to be adjacent to each other.

First, as shown in FIG. 1B, one of the knitting portions, here, for example, the first knitting portion 10, is moved to the rear needle bed 1B that can move in the left-right direction. Specifically, the loops (11F, 11E, 11D, 11C, 11B, 11A) of the upper end stitch of the first knitting portion 10 are transferred to the opposing knitting needles 2B, and the first knitting portion 10 is moved to the rear needle. Move to floor 1B. The rear needle bed 1B is moved closer to the second knitting portion 20 and moved to the right side by one stitch in FIG. 1 (FIG. 1 (c)), and after the movement, the first is moved to each of the opposing knitting needles 2A of the front needle bed 1A. All loops (11F, 11E, 11D, 11C, 11B, 11A) of the knitting portion 10 of the above are transferred. As a result of these operations, as shown in FIG. 1D, all loops (11F, 11E, 11D, 11C, 11B, 11A) move to the right by one stitch of the knitting needle on the front needle bed 1A, respectively. The knitting portion 10 of 1 is in a state of being moved to a position one stitch closer to the second knitting portion 20.

Again, the rear needle bed 1B is returned to the left side by one stitch of the knitting needle, and all the loops (11F, 11E, 11D, 11C, 11B, 11A) of the first knitting portion 10 are put on the front and rear pair of needle beds (1A, 1B). By repeating the movement of the rear needle bed 1B in the left-right direction in conjunction with the transfer between the stitches, the first knitting portion 10 is moved to a position adjacent to the second knitting portion 20 on the pair of needle beds. All loops (11F, 11E, 11D, 11C, 11B, 11A) can be aligned in a substantially row.

After the above stitch alignment step, the upper end stitches of the first and second knitting portions (10, 20) are integrated by the following procedure. The stitch alignment state at this time is not limited to the state in which all the knitting needles on one needle bed are related to the loops, but also includes the state in which all the loops are related to any of the pair of front and rear needle beds.

As shown in FIG. 2A, all loops of the upper end stitch of the first knitting portion 10 (11F, 11E, 11D, 11C, 11B, 11A) and all loops of the upper end stitch of the second knitting portion 20 (21A). , 21B, 21C, 21D, 21E, 21F), and here, when aligning with the knitting needle 2A on the front needle bed 1A, only the innermost loop 11A of the first knitting portion 10 is rearward. The state is left on the knitting needle 2B of the needle bed 1B, and then the rear needle bed 1B is moved to the right side by one stitch. As a result, the loop 11A of the innermost stitch of the first knitting portion 10 is positioned so as to face the loop 21A of the innermost stitch of the second knitting portion 20.

Then, as shown in FIG. 2B, by transferring the loop 21A of the second knitting portion 20 to the knitting needle 3B of the rear needle bed 1B, the first and second knitting needles 3B are used for the first and second knitting needles 3B. The loops (11A, 21A) of the innermost stitches of the knitting portion 20 adjacent to each other are overlapped with each other. Then, the first knitting portion 10 and the second knitting portion 20 are formed by passing through the two loops (11A, 21A) overlapped by hooking the knitting yarn 5 by the operation of the knitting needle 3B to form a new loop 31A. Adjacent stitches on the innermost edge of the top are stitched together instead of sewn.

Next, on this first knitting loop, each loop of the first and second knitting portions adjacent to each other is overlapped, and a new second knitting is performed by passing through the knitting needle with the three loops overlapping. The splice loop 31B is formed.

The process of forming the second knitting loop 31B will be described with reference to the drawing-substituting photographs of FIGS. 3 and 4. In the process in this photograph, the number of stitches of each knitting portion is larger than that shown in FIGS. The explanation will be made on the assumption.

First, with only the first knitting loop 31A shown in FIG. 2C remaining on the rear needle bed 1B, the rear needle bed 1B is moved back by one stitch to the left. By this return movement, the first knitting loop 31A is positioned so as to face the loop 11B of the next stitch of the first knitting portion 10. Therefore, by shifting all the loops (11B, 11C, 11D, 11E, 11F) of the remaining stitches of the first knitting portion 10 to the rear needle bed 1B, as shown in FIG. 3A, the first The loop 11B of the next stitch of the knitting portion 10 of the above is overlapped with the first knitting loop 31A by the knitting needle 3B on the rear needle bed 1B.

Next, the loops (11C, 11D, 11E, 11F) of the remaining entire stitches of the first knitting portion 10 other than the stacked loops 11B are transferred to the front needle bed 1A. As a result, as shown in FIG. 3B, only the first knitting loop 31A and the loop 11B for knitting next to the first knitting portion 10 are left in the knitting needle 3B of the rear needle bed 1B. Is done.

Further, by moving the rear needle bed 1B toward the second knitting portion 20 by one stitch, the first knitting loop 31A hanging on the knitting needle 3B and the loop 11B overlapping the first knitting loop 31A are moved to the second knitting portion 20. It is positioned so as to face the loop 21B of the next stitch.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4A, all the loops (11B, 11C, 11D, 11E, 11F) of the remaining stitches of the second knitting portion 20 are transferred to the rear needle bed 1B, so that the second stitch is transferred to the rear needle bed 1B. The loop 21B of the next stitch of the knitting portion 20 of 2 is overlapped with the first knitting loop 31A and the loop 11B of the first knitting portion 10 by the knitting needle 3B on the rear needle bed 1B.

Next, the loops (21C, 21D, 21E, 21F) of the remaining whole stitches of the second knitting portion 20 other than the stacked loops 21B are transferred to the front needle bed 1A. As a result, as shown in FIG. 4B, only the first knitting loop 31A, the loop 11B of the first knitting portion 10 for the next knitting, and the loop 21B of the second knitting portion 20 are left. It is stacked and left on the knitting needle 3B of the rear needle bed 1B.

Then, a new second knitting loop 31B is formed by passing through the three loops (31A, 11B, 21B) on which the knitting yarn 5 is hooked and overlapped by the operation of the knitting needle 3B. As a result, the second stitches adjacent to each other from the innermost end of the upper end of the first knitting portion 10 and the second knitting portion 20 are also stitched together with the first stitches instead of being sewn.

The work of forming the second knitting loop as described above is sequentially repeated outward until the outermost stitch. Although the subsequent steps are not shown, the next step is to connect the second stitch loop 31B to the second knitting loop 31B while linking the movement of the rear needle bed 1B with respect to the front needle bed 1A and the transfer operation between these needle beds. The loop 11C of the third upper end stitch of the knitting portion 10 of 1 and the loop 21C of the third upper end stitch of the second knitting portion 10 are overlapped to form the next third knitting loop 31C.

Similarly, the loops (11D, 21D) of the fourth upper end stitch are overlapped on the knitting loop 31C to form the fourth knitting loop 31D, and then the loops (11E, 21E) are overlapped on the loop 31D. The knitting loop 31E of No. 5 is formed, and finally the loop 31E and the loop (11F and 21F are overlapped to form the sixth knitting loop 31F. Make a stop such as tying.

Through the above steps, all loops of the upper end stitch of the first knitting portion 10 (11A, 11B, 11C, 11D, 11E, 11F) and all loops of the upper end stitch of the second knitting portion 20 (21A, 21B, 21C, 21D, 21E, 21F) are sequentially knitted, and the integration of the first and second knitting portions (10, 20) is completed without sewing.

According to the above method, the first and second knitted parts knitted in various lengths and shapes can be integrated without sewing, so that the flat knitting machine has not been able to complete without cutting and sewing. It is possible to mold various forms of knit products.

It should be noted that the first and second knitting portions (10, 20) described in the above embodiments can be knitted continuously from the main body by using another preformed knitted body as the main body. be. For example, by forming the main body into a bag-shaped knitted body, molding the first and second knitted parts into a band shape, and integrating them, there is no handbag 50 or shoulder bag 60 as shown in FIGS. 5 (a) and 5 (b). Can be manufactured efficiently by sewing. In the case of the handbag 50, the first and second knitting portions (10, 20) continuously knitted from the main body 51 are integrated with each other, and the grip portion 52 is provided without sewing. Further, in the case of the shoulder bag 60, the first and second knitting portions (10, 20) continuously knitted from the main body 61 are integrated with each other, and the shoulder bag 62 is provided without sewing.

In addition, for example, the bag-shaped main body is a toe sock main body 71, and the first and second knitting portions (10, 20) continuously knitted from the toe sock main body 71 with elastic threads such as rubber threads are connected to each other. A product in which a rubber cord-shaped heel fastener 72 is integrally provided can be obtained. Conventionally, both ends of the elastic cord of the root are sewn to the main body, but according to the method of the present invention, socks for toes with heel fastening can be efficiently manufactured by a flat knitting machine without sewing.
