Description

An embodiment of the present invention relates to a lighting device having a light source having a light emitting element and having a detachable light source, and a lighting device using the light source and the lighting device.

Conventionally, there is a lighting device in which a lighting device having a lighting circuit is installed on the fixture side, and a light source having a light emitting element is detachably attached to the lighting device.

In such a lighting device with a detachable light source, it is not preferable that the lighting circuit operates when the light source is not mounted on the lighting device. Therefore, the lighting device detects whether or not the light source is mounted, and if the light source is mounted. The lighting circuit is operated. In this case, a detection resistor is arranged on the light source side, and the presence / absence of the light source is detected by the voltage value that changes depending on the presence / absence of the light source.

However, in order to detect whether or not the light source is attached, it is necessary to place a detection resistor on the light source side, and if the detection resistor cannot be placed on the light source side, or if the light source is simplified, the detection resistor is placed on the light source side. If it is not arranged, it is not possible to detect whether or not the light source is attached.

Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 2012-28222

An object to be solved by the present invention is to provide a lighting device and a lighting device capable of detecting whether or not a light source is attached even if the light source does not have a detection resistor.

The lighting device of the embodiment includes a lighting circuit, a terminal unit, a mounting detection resistor, a mounting detection unit, and a control unit. The lighting circuit supplies lighting power to a light source having a light emitting element. The terminal portion has a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal to which the light source is detachably connected. The output side of the lighting circuit is connected to the 1st terminal and the 3rd terminal, and the space between the 1st terminal and the 2nd terminal is open. When the light source is attached, the space between the 1st terminal and the 2nd terminal is open. It is connected on the light source side, and a light emitting element is connected between the second terminal and the third terminal. The mounting detection resistor is connected between the second terminal and the third terminal. The mounting detection unit is connected to the first terminal side and the mounting detection resistor to detect the voltage, and detects whether or not the light source is mounted by the voltage value that changes depending on whether or not the light source is mounted. The control unit controls the lighting circuit by detecting whether or not the light source is mounted by the mounting detection unit. At the time of mounting detection by the mounting detection unit, a voltage less than a predetermined value at which a predetermined light emitting element does not light is supplied to the output side of the lighting circuit.

According to the present invention, even if the light source does not have a detection resistor, it can be expected to detect whether or not the light source is attached.

It is a circuit diagram of the lighting device which shows one Embodiment.

Hereinafter, one embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.

The lighting device 10 includes a light source 11 and a lighting device 12 for lighting the light source 11.

The light source 11 includes a housing 15, a light source side terminal portion 16 arranged in the housing 15, and a light emitting element 17.

The light source side terminal portion 16 includes a first terminal 16a, a second terminal 16b, and a third terminal 16c. These terminals 16a, 16b, and 16c are arranged at predetermined positions so as to face the outside of the housing 15. The first terminal 16a and the second terminal 16b are electrically connected.

As the light emitting element 17, for example, an LED is used, and the anode side is connected to the second terminal 16b and the cathode side is connected to the third terminal 16c. The number of light emitting elements 17 may be one, or a plurality of light emitting elements 17 may be connected in series or in series and parallel.

Next, the lighting device 12 is arranged on the appliance side having a socket for detachably mounting the light source 11, for example.

The lighting device 12 is connected to a DC power supply unit 20 that supplies DC power, a terminal unit (circuit side terminal unit) 21 that is electrically connected to the light source 11, and a DC power supply that is connected between the DC power supply unit 20 and the terminal unit 21. Is detected by the lighting circuit 22 that converts the current into a lighting power source and supplies it to the light source 11, the mounting detection circuit 23 that detects whether or not the light source 11 is mounted, the current detection unit 24 that detects the current flowing through the light source 11, and the mounting detection circuit 23. It is provided with a control unit 25 that controls the lighting circuit 22 according to the mounting information and the current detected by the current detection unit 24.

The DC power supply unit 20 supplies a DC power supply to the lighting circuit 22, for example, rectifying an AC power supply and supplying a smoothed DC power supply to the lighting circuit 22.

Further, the terminal portion 21 includes a first terminal 21a, a second terminal 21b, and a third terminal 21c. The first terminal 21a, the second terminal 21b, and the third terminal 21c are arranged in, for example, a socket to which the light source 11 is detachably mounted, and the corresponding first terminal 16a and the second terminal of the light source 11 mounted in the socket are arranged. It is configured to be electrically connected to the 16b and the third terminal 16c.

Further, the lighting circuit 22 is composed of a step-down chopper circuit. The lighting circuit 22 is a series circuit of a switching element 28 and a diode 29 connected between both ends of the DC power supply unit 20, an inductor 30 having one end connected to a connection point between the switching element 28 and the diode 29, and the inductor 30. A capacitor 31 connected in parallel between the first terminal 21a and the third terminal 21c is provided on the other end side of the above.

The switching element 28 switches on the high potential side of the DC power supply, and for example, a field effect transistor (MOSFET) is used. The drain electrode of the field effect transistor is connected to the high potential side of the DC power supply unit 20, the source electrode is connected to the cathode side of the diode 29 and the inductor 30, and the gate electrode is connected to the control unit 25.

The anode side of the diode 29 is grounded, and the cathode side is connected to the switching element 28 and the inductor 30. The diode 29 is configured to form a closed circuit with an inductor 30, a capacitor 31 and a light source 11 when the switching element 28 is off.

As the capacitor 31, a smoothing capacitor that smoothes the output voltage of the lighting circuit 22 is used.

Further, the mounting detection circuit 23 has the voltage dividing resistors 33, 34, and the third voltage dividing resistors 33, 34, which are connected in series between the high potential side which is the first terminal 21a side and the low potential side which is the ground side on the output side of the lighting circuit 22. A mounting detection resistor 35 connected between the 2nd terminal 21b and the 3rd terminal 21c, a mounting detection unit 36 connected to the connection point between the voltage dividing resistor 33 and the voltage dividing resistor 34, a constant voltage source 37, and a constant voltage. It has a series circuit composed of a resistor 38 and a diode 39 connected between the source 37 and the high potential side of the voltage dividing resistor 33. The mounting detection resistor 35 is connected between the second terminal 21b and the third terminal 21c. Therefore, when the light source 11 is mounted, the voltage dividing resistors 33 and 34 and the mounting detection resistor 35 are configured to be connected in parallel.

The mounting detection unit 36 is composed of, for example, a microcomputer. The mounting detection unit 36 compares the detection voltage value input via the voltage dividing resistors 33 and 34 with the preset threshold value, and if the detection voltage value is smaller than the threshold value, determines that the light source 11 is mounted and detects it. If the voltage value is larger than the threshold value, it is determined that the light source 11 is not attached, and the determination result is output to the control unit 25.

The mounting detection unit 36 may be provided by the control unit 25.

Further, at the time of mounting detection by the mounting detection circuit 23, a detection power supply of, for example, about 15 V is supplied to the output side of the lighting circuit 22 from the constant voltage source 37 which is the detection power supply unit. The constant voltage source 37 supplies a voltage less than a predetermined value in which the light source 11 connected to the terminal portion 21 does not light, that is, the light emitting element 17 does not light. The constant voltage source 37 may also be used by the lighting circuit 22.

Further, the current detection unit 24 includes a detection resistor 41 connected to the low potential side of the DC power supply, detects the current flowing through the light source 11 through the detection resistor 41, and outputs the current to the control unit 25.

Further, the control unit 25 is composed of, for example, a control IC. The control unit 25 activates the lighting circuit 22 when the determination result of whether or not the light source 11 is attached is input from the attachment detection unit 36, and the lighting circuit when the determination result of whether or not the light source 11 is attached is input from the attachment detection unit 36. Do not start 22 or make the output smaller than when it is normally lit. After the lighting circuit 22 is activated, the control unit 25 feedback-controls the switching operation of the switching element 28 according to the detection current detected by the current detection unit 24.

Then, the operation of the lighting device 12 will be described.

When the lighting device 12 is started, a detection power supply of about 15 V is supplied from the detection power supply unit to the output side of the lighting circuit 22.

The mounting detection unit 36 compares the detection voltage value input via the voltage dividing resistors 33 and 34 with the preset threshold value, and outputs the result of mounting / not wearing to the control unit 25.

Here, when the light source 11 is not mounted, the space between the first terminal 21a and the second terminal 21b is opened and the mounting detection resistor 35 is not connected, and the voltage dividing resistor 33 is connected to the mounting detection unit 36. Since the detection power supply divided by 34 is input, the mounting detection unit 36 determines that the light source 11 is not mounted because the detection voltage value becomes larger than the threshold value.

On the other hand, when the light source 11 is mounted, the first terminal 21a and the second terminal 21b are connected on the light source 11 side to connect the mounting detection resistor 35, and the voltage dividing resistors 33 and 34 and the mounting detection are connected. When the resistor 35 is connected in parallel, the voltage of the detection power supply input to the mounting detection unit 36 drops, and the detection voltage value of the mounting detection unit 36 becomes smaller than the threshold value, and it is determined that the light source 11 is mounted. To do.

Then, when the control unit 25 inputs a signal with mounting from the mounting detection unit 36, the control unit 25 activates the lighting circuit 22 and switches the switching element 28.

On the other hand, the control unit 25 does not activate the lighting circuit 22 when a signal of no attachment is input from the attachment detection unit 36.

Then, when the lighting circuit 22 is activated, the DC power supply unit 20 supplies DC power to the lighting circuit 22. In the lighting circuit 22, the control unit 25 controls the switching operation of the switching element 28, steps down the DC power supply, and supplies the DC power supply to the light emitting element 17.

When the switching element 28 is turned on, a current from the high potential side of the DC power supply unit 20 flows to the low potential side of the DC power supply unit 20 through the switching element 28, the inductor 30, and the light emitting element 17. At this time, a current smoothed by the capacitor 31 flows through the light emitting element 17, and the light emitting element 17 lights up with a constant brightness.

When the switching element 28 is off, the current stored in the inductor 30 is released and flows through the light emitting element 17 and the diode 29 in the closed circuit. At this time, a current smoothed by the capacitor 31 flows through the light emitting element 17, and the light emitting element 17 lights up with a constant brightness.

Further, the control unit 25 feedback-controls the switching operation of the switching element 28 based on the detection current detected by the current detection unit 24.

Then, according to this embodiment, it is possible to detect whether or not the light source 11 is attached even if the light source 11 does not have a detection resistor.

That is, the lighting circuit 22 is configured to be connected to the light source 11 at three points of the first terminal 21a, the second terminal 21b, and the third terminal 21c, and the output side of the lighting circuit 22 is connected to the first terminal 21a and the third terminal 21c. At the same time, by connecting the mounting detection resistor 35 between the second terminal 21b and the third terminal 21c, when the light source 11 is mounted, the light source 11 is between the first terminal 21a and the second terminal 21b. The light source 17 can be connected between the second terminal 21b and the third terminal 21c. With such a connection configuration, the mounting detection unit 36 is connected to the first terminal 21a side and the mounting detection resistor 35 to detect the voltage, and the light source 11 has a voltage value that changes depending on whether or not the light source 11 is mounted. It is possible to detect the presence or absence of wearing.

Therefore, since the light source 11 does not have to have a detection resistor, the replaceable light source 11 can be simplified and the price of the light source 11 can be reduced.

The lighting circuit 22 may be a step-down chopper circuit system using only a step-down chopper circuit, may have a circuit configuration in which a step-down chopper circuit and a power factor improving circuit are combined, or may include another power conversion circuit. The circuit configuration may be used.
