Claims (11)
- 被術者の標的静脈を、被術者の皮膚表面下から怒張させるための電気的静脈刺激装置であって、
電源装置と、
前記電源装置から電力を供給されている信号発生器であって、前記信号発生器が、電気出力信号を発生するよう構成されている信号発生器と、
前記信号発生器と電気通信し、被術者と電気通信して置かれるよう構成されている少なくとも2つの電極と、
前記信号発生器で発生した電気出力信号を、少なくとも2つの前記電極へ与えるよう構成されている少なくとも2つの導線であって、少なくとも2つの前記導線のそれぞれが、少なくとも2つの前記電極のそれぞれを前記信号発生器に接続している導線と、
を含み、
前記電気出力信号が、出力電圧、電流、および、予めプログラムされた繰り返しサイクルで時間と共に変化する波形を含み、前記出力電圧、電流、および波形が、被術者の複数の末梢神経を刺激し、被術者の1つ以上の肢の静脈筋ポンプ機構を活性化し、また、標的静脈の生理機能を非侵襲的に変えるような生理学的反応を誘発するよう構成されていて、これにより標的静脈を被術者の皮膚表面下で怒張させ、
前記波形は、ベースライン電位より上の正極性パルスが送出される第1のフェーズと、ベースライン電位より下の負極性パルスが送出される第2のフェーズと、次の一連の刺激の前に一定期間電圧が供給されない休止のフェーズと、を有することを特徴とする電気的静脈刺激装置。 - 少なくとも2つの容器を更に含み、少なくとも2つの前記電極の第1の電極が、少なくとも2つの前記容器の第1の容器と物理的に接続し、少なくとも2つの前記電極の第2の電極が、少なくとも2つの前記容器の第2の容器と物理的に接続していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電気的静脈刺激装置。
- 少なくとも2つの前記容器のそれぞれが、被術者の指をその中に差し入れるための大きさおよび配置とし、液状の電解質溶液を保持するよう構成されている1つ以上の陥凹部を含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電気的静脈刺激装置。
- 少なくとも2つの前記容器のそれぞれが、少なくとも2つの前記電極のそれぞれと電気的に接続している液状の電解質溶液を更に含み、前記液状電解質溶液を通じて前記電気出力信号を被術者に伝えることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電気的静脈刺激装置。

- 前記出力電圧の大きさを調節するよう構成されている可変制御を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電気的静脈刺激装置。
- 前記出力電圧の大きさが、0から40ボルトまで変えられることを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の電気的静脈刺激装置。
- 前記被術者が人間であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電気的静脈刺激装置。
- 前記信号発生器が、
電源スイッチと、
集積回路を含む発振器と、
入力に応じて出力電圧の大きさを調節するよう構成されている可変制御と、
