Description
本願は、2014年12月19日に出願された米国特許仮出願第62/094,788号についての米国特許法(35U.S.C.)第119条(e)の優先権を主張する。当該仮出願の全体の内容が、当該参照により、本明細書の一部とされる。パリ条約上の優先権が、明示的に保持される。
本発明は、真空保持される光学的インターフェースを用いたレーザ支援眼手術に関しており、特には、当該インターフェース内の不十分な真空をモニタリングしてそれに対応するためのシステム及び方法に関している。
Claims (10)
- レーザ眼手術を実施するためのレーザと当該レーザのための制御エレクトロニクスとを有する診断及び介入ユニットを有するレーザ眼手術システムの患者インターフェース内の液体の喪失を検出するためのシステムであって、
堅固な本体部と、患者の眼と係合するための下方の吸引リングと、を有する患者インターフェース
を備え、
前記患者インターフェースは、前記診断及び介入ユニットに結合されるように構成されており、
前記堅固な本体部は、前記レーザのビームの通過のための貫通孔を規定しており、
前記貫通孔は、前記レーザのビームのための透過性媒体を提供する流体を収容するように構成された流体チャンバを規定しており、
当該システムは、更に、
前記流体チャンバと連通状態であるように取り付けられ、前記流体チャンバ内の流体量を検出可能であるセンサと、
前記センサからの入力を受信して、前記センサからの入力に応じて、前記流体チャンバ内の低い流体量に関する出力を前記レーザの前記制御エレクトロニクスに提供する制御通信回路と、
を備えたことを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記堅固な本体部は、上方端から前記下方の吸引リングまで円錐状視野を規定しており、
前記流体チャンバは、前記円錐状視野から外方へ延びており、
前記センサは、前記円錐状視野の外側で前記堅固な本体部に取り付けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記センサは、前記堅固な本体部の内面に取り付けられた一対の導電パッドを含み、
当該システムは、前記導電パッド間を通流する電流を検出するための電流センサを含む前記導電パッドと関連する回路を含んでいる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記堅固な本体部内の異なる高さにおいて少なくとも2対の導電パッドがあり、当該異なる高さの当該2対の導電パッド間を通流する電流を検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のシステム。 - 前記センサは、前記堅固な本体部の内面に取り付けられた位置検出器を有し、
当該システムは、前記流体チャンバを通ってある角度で下方に照射するように位置決めされた発光源を含み、
前記発光源からの光が前記液体の表面に当たって屈折して、前記流体チャンバ内の流体量を示す前記発光源からの光の屈折光の位置を前記位置検出器が検出する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 2以上の位置検出器がある
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のシステム。 - 前記堅固な本体部内に取り付けられ、前記流体チャンバの上方の広がりを規定する光学レンズを更に備え、
前記発光源は、前記光学レンズの上方の前記堅固な本体部内に取り付けられている
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のシステム。 - 前記センサは、前記堅固な本体部の内面に取り付けられ互いから直径方向に離れている音響発信器とセンサとの適合対を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のシステム。 - 前記センサは、前記堅固な本体部の壁を通って延び、真空ライン及び圧力センサに接続された小さいオリフィスを有しており、
前記オリフィスは、前記流体チャンバに対するその開口が流体によって覆われている時には表面張力によって当該流体が当該オリフィスを通ることが妨げられ、最大の真空の大きさに帰結し、前記開口が空気に曝されている時には当該空気が前記真空ラインを通って流れて、真空の大きさが最大から下方に低下する、というサイズである
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記堅固な本体部内に取り付けられ、前記流体チャンバの上方の広がりを規定する光学レンズを更に備える
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
