The present invention relates to an oil strainer that filters oil sucked into an oil pump and a method for manufacturing the same.
For example, an oil pump that circulates oil is arranged in the transaxle of an automobile. An oil strainer for filtering the oil sucked into the oil pump is connected to the oil pump.
As an oil strainer, for example, as disclosed in
However, in the oil strainer disclosed in
The present invention has been made in view of such a background, and an object of the present invention is to provide an easy-to-manufacture oil strainer and a method for manufacturing the same, which can obtain a stable fixed state of the strainer cover with respect to the strainer main body.

Another aspect of the present invention is a method for producing the above oil strainer.
When fixing the strainer cover and the filter to the strainer body,
The engaging claw portion is left in a pre-standing state in which the standing portion projects outward with respect to the strainer cover and the folded portion protrudes upward with respect to the standing portion.
The strainer cover and the filter are positioned with each other by the cover positioning unit and the filter positioning unit, and the strainer cover and the filter are arranged on the opening surface of the main body of the strainer main body.
By bending the engaging claw portion in the pre-standing state so that the standing portion stands upward with respect to the strainer cover, the folded tip portion is placed on the upper surface of the peripheral edge portion of the main body. It is in the method of manufacturing an oil strainer to be brought into contact.
In the oil strainer, the strainer cover is fixed to the strainer body by the plurality of engaging claws. Therefore, the strainer cover can be easily fixed to the strainer body. Therefore, the oil strainer can be easily manufactured.
Further, the engaging claw portion has the upright portion and the folded portion. The folded portion is inclined with respect to the upper surface of the peripheral surface of the main body so as to approach the upper surface of the peripheral edge of the main body from the outside to the inside. As a result, a stable fixed state of the strainer cover with respect to the strainer body can be obtained. That is, since the folded-back portion is arranged in the above-mentioned state with respect to the upper surface of the main body peripheral edge portion, the folded-back tip portion can be reliably brought into contact with the main body peripheral edge portion. As a result, the engaging claw portion can be stably crimped to the peripheral portion of the main body.
Further, the strainer cover and the filter each have a cover positioning portion and a filter positioning portion. As a result, the work of fixing the strainer cover to the strainer body together with the filter by caulking the engaging claw portion can be easily performed.
Further, in the method for manufacturing the oil strainer, the engaging claw portion that has been set in the pre-standing state is bent so that the standing portion stands upward with respect to the strainer cover. As a result, the folded tip is brought into contact with the upper surface of the peripheral edge of the main body. By doing so, a stable fixed state of the strainer cover with respect to the strainer main body can be easily obtained.
As described above, according to the above aspect, it is an object of the present invention to provide an easy-to-manufacture oil strainer and a method for manufacturing the same, which can obtain a stable fixed state of the strainer cover with respect to the strainer main body.
The oil strainer is attached to, for example, an oil pump arranged in a transaxle. The expressions such as "lower side" and "upper side" are based on the posture when the oil strainer is arranged and used in the transaxle or the like.
Further, it is preferable that the folded portion is bent so as to form an acute angle with respect to the standing portion. In this case, the folded-back tip can be more easily and surely brought into contact with the upper surface of the peripheral edge of the main body.
Further, it has a plate-shaped frame arranged on the upper surface of the filter, and the frame can be fixed to the lower surface of the peripheral portion of the main body together with the strainer cover and the filter. In this case, the strainer cover can be easily and stably fixed to the strainer body together with the filter and the frame.
Further, it is preferable that the frame has a frame positioning portion for positioning the strainer cover in the spreading direction of the main body opening surface. In this case, the work of assembling the strainer cover together with the filter and the frame to the strainer body can be performed more easily.
Further, it is preferable that the strainer cover and the filter are positioned by the cover positioning unit and the filter positioning unit in the spreading direction of the opening surface of the main body with respect to the strainer main body. In this case, the action of assembling the strainer cover to the strainer body can be performed more easily.

When manufacturing the

Then, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the
After that, as shown in FIG. 9, the engaging
Next, an example of the method of assembling the
When assembling the
First, each component is superposed in the vertical direction as shown in FIG. At this time, positioning is performed in the spreading direction of the main
In this state, these parts are clamped by the
As described above, from the state in which the
8 and 9 show only the bending process of one engaging
As described above, as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the
In addition, as described above, by bending the standing
Although not shown, in the present embodiment as well, there is a portion where the engaging
However, the appropriate length of the
Next, the action and effect of this embodiment will be described.
In the
Further, the engaging
Further, the
Further, in the method for manufacturing the oil strainer, as shown in FIG. 9, the standing
Further, as described above, after the
Further, the folded-
Further, the
