前記流体操作面(2016)の第1の側面部分(2016a)における第1のスペーサ(2018)であって、前記検体支承面(2028)の対応する第1の側面部分(2028a)において前記スライド(2026)と接触するように構成された第1のスペーサ(2018)と、
前記流体操作面(2016)の第2の側面部分(2016b)における第2のスペーサ(2020)であって、前記流体担持間隙内のある体積の流体が、第1の方向に実質的に垂直な平面内の前記流体担持間隙の断面を変化させながら、前記スライド(2026)に沿って前記第1の方向に移動することができるように、前記検体支承面(2028)の対応する第2の側面部分(2028b)において前記スライド(2026)と接触するように構成された第2のスペーサ(2020)と、

前記流体操作面(2016)の第2の側面部分(2016b)における第2のスペーサ(2020)であって、前記流体担持間隙内のある体積の流体が、第1の方向に実質的に垂直な平面内の前記流体担持間隙の断面を変化させながら、前記スライド(2026)に沿って前記第1の方向に移動することができるように、前記検体支承面(2028)の対応する第2の側面部分(2028b)において前記スライド(2026)と接触するように構成された第2のスペーサ(2020)と、
(i)前記第1のスペーサ(2018)と前記対向部(2012)の第1の縁部との間、または(ii)前記第2のスペーサ(2020)と前記対向部(2012)の第2の縁部との間に配置された少なくとも1つの流体制御要素と、を備え、
前記流体制御要素は、前記対向部(2012)の縁部と同時に存在する斜角付き縁部を形成する切れ目である
