Claims (13)
- 対象の関節の骨の一部を置換するためのプロテーゼコンポーネントを作製するための方法において、ベース面、前記ベース面の反対側の外側面、前記ベース面と前記外側面の間に延在する第1の側縁部、および前記ベース面と前記外側面の間に延在し、前記第1の側縁部の反対側である第2の側縁部を有する本体を含むように前記プロテーゼコンポーネントを形成するステップであって、前記第1の側縁部の第1の厚さは、増大部の厚さの分だけ前記第2の側縁部の第2の厚さより小さく、前記増大部の厚さは、(i)前記関節の前記骨の画像
を取得すること、(ii)前記骨の本体からの基準角を前記画像上に配向して骨の表面に対して平行な第1の基準線を形成し、この場合前記第1の基準線は前記骨の第1の境界から前記骨の反対側の第2の境界まで延在すること、(iii)前記第1の基準線から前記骨の表面の摩滅した領域までの第2の基準線を前記画像上に配向すること、(iv)前記第2の基準線の長さを決定すること、および(v)前記第2の基準線の長さに基づいて前記増大部の厚さを選択することによって決定されているステップを含む方法。 - 前記増大部の厚さは、前記第2の側縁部から、前記第1の側縁部と前記第2の側縁部の間の前記ベース面上の特定の場所まで延在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記場所は、(vi)前記骨の表面の前記摩滅した領域と前記骨の表面の自然のままの領域の間の境目を前記画像上で確認すること、および(vii)第3の基準線が前記第1の基準線と交差する、前記第1の基準線上の基準点を決定し、前記第3の基準線は、前記境目から前記第1の基準線まで垂直に延在することによって決定される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記場所は、(viii)前記第1の基準線の長さに対する前記骨の前記第1の境界から前記基準点までの第4の基準線の割合を計算すること、および(ix)前記増大部の厚さを有する前記本体の大きさになるように前記割合を選択することによって決定される、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記増大部の厚さは、前記第1の側縁部から前記第2の側縁部まで拡大し、これにより前記外側面と前記ベース面の間の増大部の角度を規定し、前記増大部の角度は、前記第1の境界から前記第2の基準線が前記骨の表面に交差する場所までの角度基準線を前記画像上に配向すること、および前記第1の基準線と前記角度基準線の間の角度として前記増大部の角度を選択することによって決定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記増大部の厚さは、前記第1の側縁部から前記第2の側縁部まで段差不連続性に拡大する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記骨は肩甲骨であり、前記関節は肩であり、前記プロテーゼコンポーネントは浅窩コンポーネントである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記外側面は、総体的な肩関節形成システムの上腕骨のヘッドコンポーネントと連接するための凹状の担持面である、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記画像はコンピュータ断層撮影の軸方向のスライスであり、前記基準角は90度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の側縁部は前方縁部であり、前記第2の側縁部は後方縁部である、請求項1に記載の方法。
