Claims (20)
- 車両の排気系用の混合器であって、
混合器中心軸を画定し、かつ上流端に入口と、下流端に出口とを有する混合器ハウジングと;
前記混合器ハウジング内において前記上流端に位置決めされ、かつエンジン排ガスを受け入れるように構成された少なくとも1つの入口開口部を含む上流バッフルと;
前記混合器ハウジング内において前記下流端に位置決めされ、それにより、前記混合器中心軸に沿った方向において前記上流バッフルから軸方向に離間され、少なくとも1つの出口開口部を含む下流バッフルと;
前記混合器ハウジング内において前記上流バッフルと前記下流バッフルとの間の箇所に形成され、投与器軸を画定する投与器を受け入れるように構成されたハウジング開口部と;
前記混合器への前記投与器の装着を容易にするように前記ハウジング開口部と位置合わせされる副集成部品であって、コーンおよびマニホールドを含む前記副集成部品とを含み、
前記コーンは、一体成形部品として形成され、前記ハウジング開口部と位置合わせされたコーン出口開口部、狭小端から幅広端へ延在するテーパ付き本体部分および前記コーンの幅広端から延在する延長移行部分を有し、
前記マニホールドは、前記ハウジング開口部と位置合わせされる投与開口部を備えるインターフェース部分を含み、1つ以上の取付アームが前記インターフェース部分から前記コーンの壁に向かう方向に延在し、1つ以上のフランジが前記インターフェース部分から前記コーンの前記壁の方に延在し、
前記1つ以上のアームおよび前記1つ以上のフランジは、所定の方法で配置されて、エンジン排ガスが、前記投与開口部へ向けられるように成形された1つ以上のチャンバーを形成する、混合器。 - 前記投与器は、還元剤と排ガスとの混合物が前記混合器ハウジングを出るように、前記上流バッフルと前記下流バッフルとの間の領域に還元剤を噴霧するように構成され、前記混合物は、前記混合器ハウジングから出る前に少なくとも360度の回転流路を通して移動する、請求項1に記載の混合器。
- 前記上流バッフルは、第1の部分と、前記第1の部分から前記混合器中心軸に沿った方向にオフセットされた第2の部分と、前記第1の部分から前記第2の部分へ移行する第3の部分とを含み、前記少なくとも1つの入口開口部は、少なくとも1つの主入口開口部および1つ以上の副入口開口部を含み、および
前記下流バッフルは、第1の部分と、前記第1の部分から前記混合器中心軸に沿った方向にオフセットされた第2の部分と、前記第1の部分から前記第2の部分へ移行する第3の部分とを含み、前記少なくとも1つの出口開口部は、少なくとも1つの主出口開口部および1つ以上の副出口開口部を含む、請求項2に記載の混合器。 - 前記混合器ハウジング内において前記下流バッフルの下流に位置決めされた延長バッフルを含み、前記延長バッフルは、少なくとも1つの主出口開口部を含み、それにより、前記上流バッフルと前記下流バッフルとの間の前記投与器軸における上流箇所から、前記延長バッフルの主出口開口部の中心軸における下流箇所まで、前記混合物は少なくとも390度回転する、請求項3に記載の混合器。

- 前記第1の縁と前記第2の縁との間に画定される角度は少なくとも90度である、請求項5に記載の混合器。
- 前記第1の縁と前記第2の縁との間に画定される角度は少なくとも180度であり、それにより、前記混合物は少なくとも480度回転する、請求項5に記載の混合器。
- 前記第1の縁は、前記延長バッフルの入口側または上流側を含み、および前記第2の縁は、前記延長バッフルの出口側または下流側を含み、放射状壁部分は、前記平坦なベースの前記第2の縁から前記上流方向に延在し、前記放射状壁部分は前記延長バッフルの主出口開口部を含む、請求項5に記載の混合器。
- 前記延長バッフルは、前記ベースに形成された少なくとも1つのバッフル副開口部を含み、前記バッフル副開口部は前記延長バッフルの主出口開口部よりも小さい、請求項8に記載の混合器。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバッフル副開口部は、前記ベースから離れる方に延在するリップによって取り囲まれて、前記延長バッフルの材料厚さの少なくとも3倍であるリップ高さを画定する、請求項9に記載の混合器。
- 前記延長バッフルの前記第1の縁は、前記混合器中心軸に沿った方向において前記下流バッフルの前記主出口開口部とほぼ位置合わせされる、請求項5に記載の混合器。
- 前記副入口開口部および副出口開口部の少なくとも一方はリップを含み、前記リップは、前記上流バッフルおよび前記下流バッフルのそれぞれ1つから離れる方に延在して、前記上流バッフルおよび前記下流バッフルの前記それぞれ1つの材料厚さの少なくとも3倍であるリップ高さを画定する、請求項3に記載の混合器。
- 前記上流バッフルの前記第1の部分は第1の平坦面を含み、前記第2の部分は、前記第1の平坦面よりも小さい第2の平坦面を含み、および前記第3の部分は、前記第1の平坦面から前記第2の平坦面へ移行するらせん面を含み、前記上流バッフルは、前記第1の平坦面と前記第2の平坦面との間に延在する垂直壁部分を含み、前記垂直壁部分は前記少なくとも1つの主入口開口部を含む、請求項3に記載の混合器。
- 前記少なくとも1つの主入口開口部は、前記垂直壁部分に形成された少なくとも3つの入口開口部を含む、請求項13に記載の混合器。
- 前記第1の平坦面は、前記上流バッフルの少なくとも半分を含む、請求項13に記載の混合器。
- 前記1つ以上の副入口開口部は、前記上流バッフルの前記第1の平坦面内にのみ形成され、前記上流バッフルの残りの部分には副入口開口部がない、請求項15に記載の混合器。
- 前記下流バッフルの前記第1の部分は第1の平坦面を含み、前記第2の部分は、前記第1の平坦面からオフセットされた第2の平坦面を含み、および前記第3の部分は、前記第1の平坦面から前記第2の平坦面へ移行するらせん面を含み、前記主出口開口部は、前記下流バッフルの前記第1の平坦面と前記第2の平坦面との間の垂直方向のオフセット区域内に形成された開放領域を含む、請求項3に記載の混合器。
