Description

本発明は、骨変形の段階的矯正のための整形外科方法と装置に関する。とくに、本発明は、骨の延長、骨の短縮、骨折の治療、骨角度の変化、骨の回転、骨の湾曲やねじれの調整、関節や脊椎の再整列もしくは再配置、脊柱形状の再形成もしくは支持、またはこれらの組合せを含む様々な骨整形治療に関する。
Claims (11)
- 骨切断を形成することなく骨を整形するように構成された骨整形インプラントにおいて、該骨整形インプラントは前記骨に骨整形力を加えるように構成され、前記骨整形インプラントが:
前記骨の第1の位置に取り付けて、前記骨に前記骨整形力をかけるように構成された伸延シャフトであって、空洞に隣接する内面に配置されるナットを有する伸延シャフトと;
前記骨の第2の位置に取り付けて、前記骨に前記骨整形力をかけるように構成されたハウジングと;を備え、
前記ハウジングは、前記骨整形力を生成するように非侵襲的に作動するように構成された円筒状永久磁石であって、該円筒状永久磁石は、磁石ハウジング内に固定して収容され、該磁石ハウジングは、少なくとも1つの遊星歯車セットに係合するように構成された車軸をさらに含む、円筒状永久磁石と、
該円筒状永久磁石に機械的に結合され、前記伸延シャフトの前記ナットと連通して前記ハウジングに対して前記伸延シャフトを駆動するように構成された親ねじと、を有し、
前記円筒状永久磁石及び前記少なくとも1つの遊星歯車セットは、スラスト軸受に回転可能に配置され、前記スラスト軸受は、前記円筒状永久磁石及び前記少なくとも1つの遊星歯車セットを圧縮応力及び引張応力の少なくとも一方から保護するように構成され、
前記伸延シャフトの第1の取付ポイント及び前記ハウジングの第2の取付ポイントは、所望の治療区分だけ離間しており、前記骨は、前記伸延シャフトと前記ハウジングとの間で連続しており、
前記骨整形力は、同じ骨を整形するための他の骨整形インプラントにより生成される骨整形力とは異なること特徴とする骨整形インプラント。 - 請求項1に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記骨整形力が、前記骨への少なくとも軸方向の圧縮力成分を含むことを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記骨整形力が、前記骨への少なくとも軸方向の引張力成分を含むことを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記骨整形力が、前記骨への少なくともねじり力を含むことを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記骨整形力が、前記骨への少なくとも横方向の曲げ力を含むことを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記第1の取付ポイントを取り付けることが、海綿骨に骨ねじを進めることを含むことを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記第1の取付ポイントを取り付けることが、クランプを前記骨に取り付けることを含むことを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項1に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記骨を整形するよう構成された器具を、患者の外側の無線制御器から作動させることを含むことを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項2に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記圧縮力が、約90−110lbsの範囲であることを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項3に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記引張力が、約90−110lbsの範囲であることを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
- 請求項4に記載の骨整形インプラントにおいて、前記ねじり力が、約25−75in・lbsの範囲であることを特徴とする骨整形インプラント。
