Description
本発明は一般に、外科的埋め込み型装置の場所を確認し、設定を読み取るための体外ツール及び方法に関し、より詳細には、調整可能な埋め込み型弁の設定を読み取るための光電子式手段に関する。
(1) 患者の皮下に埋め込む弁であって、
流体入口ポートと、
流体出口ポートと、
前記入口ポートと前記出口ポートとの間の流体輸送を制限するために前記流体入口ポートと前記流体出口ポートとの間にある制限要素と、
前記制限要素を通る流体流量と前記制限要素全体の圧力低下とのうちの少なくとも1つを設定するために、前記制限要素に動作可能に連結された制御部材であって、前記制御部材の物理的配向が前記設定を示す、制御部材と、
前記制御部材に連結された少なくとも1つの発光素子と、を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの発光素子によって放出された光は、前記設定を読み取るために、前記患者の皮膚を通して外部から検出可能である、弁。
(2) 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子は、前記制御部材の長さに沿って互いに物理的に離間した2つの発光素子を含む、実施態様1に記載の弁。
(3) 前記2つの発光部材は、それぞれの発光の波長の差と、それぞれの発光の強度の時間依存性の差とのうちの少なくとも1つによって、互いに異なる、実施態様2に記載の弁。
(4) 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子は、発光ダイオードである、実施態様1に記載の弁。
(5) 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子は、可視スペクトル領域と近赤外スペクトル領域とのうちの1つ又は複数における発光波長を含む、実施態様1に記載の弁。
(7) 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子によって放出された光が透過するハウジングを更に含む、実施態様1に記載の弁。
(8) 1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子を更に含み、前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子によって放出された光は、前記患者の皮膚を通して外部から検出可能であり、かつ前記患者の皮膚の下の前記弁の場所と物理的配向とのうちの1つ又は双方を示している、実施態様1に記載の弁。
(9) 前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子は、可視スペクトル領域と近赤外線スペクトル領域とのうちの1つ又は複数における発光波長を含む、実施態様8に記載の弁。
(10) 前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子によって放出された光、及び前記少なくとも1つの発光素子によって放出された光は、それぞれの発光の波長の差とそれぞれの発光の強度の時間依存性の差とのうちの少なくとも1つによって互いに区別可能である、実施態様8に記載の弁。
(12) 外部で生成された電磁信号を受信し、かつ前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子に電力を供給するためのアンテナを更に含む、実施態様8に記載の弁。
(13) 患者の皮下に埋め込まれた調整可能な弁の設定を非侵襲的に読み取る方法であって、
前記弁内に物理的に分布された少なくとも3つの光源によって放出された光を皮膚を通して検出することと、
前記少なくとも3つの光源の相対的な場所をマッピングすることと、
前記マッピングされた場所から前記弁の現在の設定を計算することと、を含む、方法。
(14) 前記光源のうちの少なくとも2つは、光の放出波長と発光の時間依存性とのうちの少なくとも1つに関して互いに異なる、実施態様13に記載の方法。
(15) 患者の皮下に埋め込まれた調整可能な流体流弁の設定を読み取るためのシステムであって、前記弁は少なくとも3つの発光体を含み、前記発光体の相対的な場所は前記設定を示し、前記システムは、
前記少なくとも3つの発光体によって放出され皮膚を通して透過された光を撮像するための電子撮像アレイと、
画像から前記弁の前記設定を決定する電子プロセッサと、
前記弁の前記設定を示すディスプレイと、を含む、システム。
(17) 前記ディスプレイは、前記埋め込まれた弁の場所と空間的配向とのうちの少なくとも1つを更に示す、実施態様15に記載のシステム。
(18) 電力を前記発光体に伝送するためのエネルギー伝送アンテナを更に含む、実施態様15に記載のシステム。
(19) 前記弁は、磁気的に調整可能な弁であり、かつ前記弁の設定を調整するための磁気的調整構成要素を更に含む、実施態様15に記載のシステム。
(20) 前記電子撮像アレイは、撮像画素の平面アレイを含み、前記磁気的調整構成要素は、前記磁気的調整構成要素と前記弁の場所の上方の前記皮膚との間に位置付けられた前記撮像アレイと共に動作可能である、実施態様16に記載のシステム。
Claims (11)
- 患者の皮下に埋め込む弁であって、
流体入口ポートと、
流体出口ポートと、
前記入口ポートと前記出口ポートとの間の流体輸送を制限するために前記流体入口ポートと前記流体出口ポートとの間にある制限要素と、
前記制限要素を通る流体流量と前記制限要素全体の圧力低下とのうちの少なくとも1つを設定するために、前記制限要素に動作可能に連結された制御部材であって、前記制御部材の物理的配向が前記設定を示す、制御部材と、
前記制御部材に連結された少なくとも1つの発光素子と、を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの発光素子によって放出された光は、前記設定を読み取るために、前記患者の皮膚を通して外部から検出可能であり、
前記少なくとも1つの発光素子は、前記制御部材の長さに沿って互いに物理的に離間した2つの発光素子を含む、弁。 - 2つの発光部材は、それぞれの発光の波長の差と、それぞれの発光の強度の時間依存性の差とのうちの少なくとも1つによって、互いに異なる、請求項1に記載の弁。
- 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子は、発光ダイオードである、請求項1に記載の弁。
- 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子は、可視スペクトル領域と近赤外スペクトル領域とのうちの1つ又は複数における発光波長を含む、請求項1に記載の弁。
- 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子によって放出された光は、パルス化されている、請求項1に記載の弁。
- 前記少なくとも1つの発光素子によって放出された光が透過するハウジングを更に含む、請求項1に記載の弁。
- 1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子を更に含み、前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子によって放出された光は、前記患者の皮膚を通して外部から検出可能であり、かつ前記患者の皮膚の下の前記弁の場所と物理的配向とのうちの1つ又は双方を示している、請求項1に記載の弁。
- 前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子は、可視スペクトル領域と近赤外線スペクトル領域とのうちの1つ又は複数における発光波長を含む、請求項7に記載の弁。
- 前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子によって放出された光、及び前記少なくとも1つの発光素子によって放出された光は、それぞれの発光の波長の差とそれぞれの発光の強度の時間依存性の差とのうちの少なくとも1つによって互いに区別可能である、請求項7に記載の弁。
- 外部で生成された電磁信号を受信し、かつ前記少なくとも1つの発光素子に電力を供給するためのアンテナを更に含む、請求項1に記載の弁。
- 外部で生成された電磁信号を受信し、かつ前記1つ又は複数の追加の発光素子に電力を供給するためのアンテナを更に含む、請求項7に記載の弁。
