Description
The present invention relates to a collation method and collation system for a component exposure mechanism that collates whether or not a component exposure mechanism mounted on a tape feeder is an appropriate component exposure mechanism corresponding to a target component.
In a component mounting apparatus that mounts electronic components on a substrate, a tape feeder that supplies electronic components held on a carrier tape is used as a component supply device. As a form of tape feeder, the carrier tape can be continuously set on the tape feeder without splicing to connect the preceding carrier tape and the succeeding carrier tape to reduce the burden of replenishment of parts by the operator. A splicing-less feeder is known (see Patent Document 1).
In the tape feeder including such a splicing-less feeder, the electronic components are housed in a pocket provided in the base tape and covered with the top tape, and the carrier tape is taped to the component supply position in the process of tape feeding. By peeling the top tape from the tape, the exposed part is supplied to the part supply position. For this reason, the tape feeder is provided with a component exposure mechanism for exposing the electronic components in the pocket. And since the position of the pocket varies depending on the size of the component, it is known that the component exposure mechanism can be replaced in accordance with the component size, so that the component can be exposed even if the component size changes (patent) Reference 2).
By the way, before mounting the tape feeder as described above on the component mounting apparatus and starting the component mounting operation, the carrier tape can be set or the component type can be switched while the tape feeder is placed on a dedicated work base. A so-called external setup operation is performed to perform various operations. In this external setup operation, an operation of exchanging the component exposure mechanism is performed corresponding to a newly set component. However, in the configuration in which the component exposure mechanism can be replaced as described above, there is a possibility that the operation of replacing the component exposure mechanism may not be performed correctly due to human error by the operator in the external setup operation.
That is, since the replacement operation of the component exposure mechanism is performed exclusively by the operator's manual operation, a situation may occur in which the operator erroneously mounts an inappropriate component exposure mechanism that does not correctly correspond to the target electronic component. In such a case, when the tape feeder is mounted on the component mounting apparatus and the component mounting operation is executed, the top tape is incompletely peeled, resulting in defective component exposure, and the electronic component can be removed from the pocket. The result is not normal.
Accordingly, the present invention provides a collation method and collation system for a component exposure mechanism in a component mounting apparatus that can prevent a component exposure failure due to a component exposure mechanism that does not correspond to the component size being mounted on a tape feeder. The purpose is to do.

The component exposure mechanism verification system according to the present invention includes a feeder main body portion provided with a tape feeding mechanism for feeding a component housed in a carrier tape to a component supply position, and the feeder main body portion interchangeably provided from the carrier tape. ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, the component exposure defect by the component exposure mechanism which does not respond | correspond to component size being mounted | worn with a tape feeder can be prevented.
Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. First, the configuration of a
In FIG. 1, a
A Y-axis moving table 7 provided with a linear drive mechanism is disposed in the Y direction orthogonal to the X direction at one end in the X direction on the upper surface of the
By driving the Y-axis movement table 7 and the X-axis movement table 8, the
A
As shown in FIG. 2, a
As shown in FIG. 2, a
The position of the
Next, the configuration and function of the
Inside the
In the
On the upper side of the
The second
The first
Here, with reference to FIG. 4, the structure of the
As shown in FIGS. 4A and 4B, the
A
Here, in order to peel the
For this reason, in the present embodiment, a plurality of
Here, the peeling
In such a configuration in which the plurality of
Here, alphabetic marks A, B,... D are used as such symbols and character marks, and the alphabetic marks A, B,... D represent the blade width dimension W (a,. b,... d) are respectively set. As a result, the operator can visually identify whether or not the
However, even if an identification mark M that can be visually identified is formed on the upper surface of the
In this embodiment, the identification mark M is composed of symbols and characters that can be identified by the operator's eyes and that can be identified by imaging by the
In the present embodiment, in the
In FIG. 5, the feeder
In this state, the
In the external setup work for the

In these processes, the
Next, processing functions of the component
The exposure mechanism
The identification
The identification

Next, a collation method of the
In FIG. 7, the
Next, the identification mark M formed on the
Next, a process for determining the collation result is performed (ST5). If the collation result is OK, that is, for the
As explained above, in the collation method and collation system for the
In the above embodiment, in the configuration of the
The component verification method and the component verification system of the present invention have the effect of preventing erroneous mounting of the carrier tape due to an operator's human error, and take out the components from the tape feeder and mount them on the board.
