Description
The present invention relates to a power conversion device that converts an alternating current power source into a direct current and supplies the load to a load, a motor drive control device including the power conversion device, a blower and a compressor including the motor drive control device, and a blower or The present invention relates to an air conditioner equipped with a compressor.
In order to suppress disturbances due to harmonic components included in the power supply current, there are international regulations on electronic devices that generate harmonic currents. In order to clear this regulation, measures are taken to suppress harmonic currents included in the power supply current by short-circuiting the power supply by chopping with AC (Alternating Current) or DC (Direct Current) at the converter.
As a converter that performs chopping at DC, there is an interleaved converter that suppresses harmonic current. In an interleaved converter, a plurality of chopper circuit units are connected in parallel, and are switched at different switching phases. Thereby, in the input current which is the sum of the currents flowing through the respective chopper circuit portions, the ripple caused by the switching is canceled and the harmonic current is suppressed. In this interleaved converter, the current flowing in each chopper circuit section becomes unequal due to variations in the switching phase of each chopper circuit section, variations such as the switching on time and the slope during switching on / off, and the like. There are cases where the current suppression effect is reduced and the element heat generation is unbalanced. On the other hand, Patent Document 1 discloses a technique for equalizing current distribution to each chopper circuit unit. In the technique described in Patent Document 1, based on each current value flowing through each of the plurality of chopper circuit units, the OFF time of each switching element for each switching period for controlling each switching element in the critical mode is predicted, Based on the prediction result, switching control of each switching element is performed to control the switching phase to have a desired phase difference.
However, in the above conventional technique, it is necessary to individually detect the reactor current for each chopper circuit unit, and thus there is a problem that the number of parts, the volume, and the cost of the current detection unit for detecting the reactor current increase. Further, since the control becomes complicated and the arithmetic processing increases, there is a concern that the cost of a microcomputer (hereinafter referred to as a microcomputer) increases. Moreover, since each switching element of each chopper circuit unit is operated in a critical mode, the current peak value is high, and the continuous mode for high power with a lower peak value is not supported. On the other hand, when operating in the continuous mode, each switching element is turned on / off at a position where the current value of the reactor current does not become zero, so that the current between each chopper circuit section is larger than when operating in the critical mode or the discontinuous mode. There is a problem that the distribution is likely to be unequal and it is difficult to obtain the effect of suppressing the unbalance of the element heat generation.
The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object of the present invention is to obtain a power conversion device capable of suppressing an unbalance of element heat generation while preventing the configuration from becoming complicated.
In order to solve the above-described problems and achieve the object, a power conversion device according to the present invention includes a rectifier that rectifies an AC voltage from an AC power source, a switching element, and chops the output of the rectifier. A plurality of common chopper circuits. The power conversion device determines one of the plurality of chopper circuits as a reference chopper circuit, controls the first switching element that is a switching element of the reference chopper circuit, and other than the reference chopper circuit. The second switching element that is a switching element of the chopper circuit is controlled at a timing at which the phase difference from the control timing of the first switching element is an integral multiple of a value obtained by dividing one switching period by the number of chopper circuits. And a switching control unit that switches a reference chopper circuit when a prescribed condition is satisfied. The switching control unit determines that the specified condition is satisfied when a predetermined time elapses after switching the reference chopper circuit.
According to the present invention, there is an effect that it is possible to realize a power conversion device capable of suppressing the unbalance of element heat generation while preventing the configuration from becoming complicated.
Hereinafter, a power conversion device, a motor drive control device, a blower, a compressor, and an air conditioner according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings.

チョッパ回路が3個の場合は三相のインバータ駆動用IPM(Intelligent Power Module、インテリジェントパワーモジュール)のように、並列接続数に合せたIPMを用いる事で基板実装面積、加工費等を抑制する事ができる。また、チョッパ回路のスイッチング素子をGaN(Gallium Nitride、窒化ガリウム)およびSiC(Silicon Carbide、炭化珪素)をはじめとするワイドバンドギャップ半導体で形成するようにしてもよい。

Here, for example, the control parameter used for the calculation in the bus current command
In addition, although proportional integral control is described here as a calculation method in the bus current command
Here, the operation of the
Vo=Vds/(1−Daon) …(1) Vo = Vds / (1-Daon) (1)
As is clear from the above equation (1), the output voltage of the
Next, the relationship between the reactor current ILa flowing through the
ΔILaon=Vds/La …(2) ΔILaon = Vds / La (2)
Further, when the switching
ΔILaoff=(Vds−Vo)/La …(3) ΔILaoff = (Vds−Vo) / La (3)
Similarly, the relationship between the on-duty Dbon, the rectified voltage Vds, and the bus voltage Vo of the
Vo=Vds/(1−Dbon) …(4) Vo = Vds / (1-Dbon) (4)
Further, when the switching
ΔILbon=Vds/Lb …(5) ΔILbon = Vds / Lb (5)
Further, when the switching
ΔILboff=(Vds−Vo)/Lb …(6) ΔILboff = (Vds−Vo) / Lb (6)
Each on-duty (Daon, Dbon) of each switching
In the
Next, an example of a method in which the
The
For example, as shown in FIG. 4, the
Then, the
Note that the magnitude relationship between the carrier signal and the timer values α and β when the
For example, some general-purpose microcomputers used for motor control have a function of generating complementary PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) of a three-phase inverter. When generating drive pulses for the upper and lower switching elements of each phase based on the timer value corresponding to the on-duty of each switching element of the three-phase inverter, the complementary PWM generation function of the three-phase inverter is used as described above. Two drive pulses having different half-cycles may be generated. FIG. 5 shows the relationship and waveform of each signal when generating the driving pulse of each switching element using the complementary PWM generation function of the three-phase inverter, that is, the relationship between the carrier signal and the timer value and each waveform of each driving pulse. FIG.
As shown in FIG. 5, when the complementary PWM generation function of the three-phase inverter is used, an arbitrary two-phase timer value among the three phases is used by using the relationship between α and β (= 1−α) described above. If set, the upper side (or lower side) generated based on the timer value α corresponding to the on-duty Daon of the switching element on the upper side (or lower side) of the arm of one phase (A phase in the example shown in FIG. 5) ) And the timer value β (= 1−α) corresponding to the on-duty Dbon of the lower (or upper) switching element of the arm of the other phase (B phase in the example shown in FIG. 5). ) And the drive pulse for the lower (or upper) switching element generated on the basis of (), the phase is different by a half cycle. By using the function of generating a complementary PWM of this three-phase inverter, the size relationship between the carrier signal and each timer value when generating each drive pulse, and the conditions of “High” and “Low” of each drive pulse are determined. If the timer value is set on the software without changing it, it is possible to easily generate drive pulses having a phase difference of half a cycle.
Here, the operation of the reference
For reference, a case where the reference
As a result, the current flowing through each phase becomes unbalanced, and the heat generation of the element becomes unbalanced. As a result, the increase in the element temperature of the one-sided phase increases and reaches the temperature protection level first, so that the operating conditions and range may be limited. In addition, there is a concern about the increase in the heat radiation countermeasure cost.
In contrast, the
The reference
By implementing the control to periodically switch the reference phase as described above, it is possible to suppress the bias of the heat generated by the switching elements in each chopper circuit, and to reduce the heat radiation countermeasure cost and to expand the operating conditions and range. Is possible.
The timing at which the reference
Since the reference
In this embodiment, the switching timing of the reference phase is determined based on the information of the power supply voltage cycle obtained by monitoring the rectified voltage. However, the switching timing may be determined by other methods. . For example, the temperature of an element with the most severe operating conditions for heat generation, that is, an element whose temperature is likely to reach the protection level, or an element that is most affected by unbalance is detected, and the temperature difference between the detected temperature and a predetermined reference temperature is constant. The reference phase may be switched when the above value is reached, or when the detected temperature reaches a predetermined specified value.
Thus, the reference
In addition, by controlling the switching of the reference phase in combination with the control for suppressing the unbalance between phases, such as correcting the on-duty using the ratio of each inductance value of each reactor, the unbalance of the element heat generation is reduced. Further suppression is possible. Control that suppresses imbalance by correcting the on-duty using the ratio of each inductance value of each reactor is the length of time to turn on the switching element corresponding to each reactor when the inductance value of each reactor is different. If the length is the same, the current flowing through each chopper circuit is different. The control performed to suppress the unbalance of the current flowing through each chopper circuit corresponds to the control that suppresses the unbalance by correcting the on-duty using the ratio of each inductance value of each reactor. That is, in this control, the on-duty of the switching element corresponding to each reactor is adjusted based on the inductance value of each reactor so that the currents flowing in each chopper circuit per cycle are the same.
In addition, the current detection unit of the
Next, switching operation modes of the
The reactor current flowing in each
On the other hand, when the rectified voltage Vds is high and the inclination of the decrease in the reactor currents ILa and ILb flowing through the
Then, as shown in FIG. 9C, at the moment when the reactor currents ILa and ILb flowing through the
When other methods are used, it is necessary to change the control method and parameters for each operation mode shown in FIG. 9, but when the control operation according to the present embodiment is applied, the same operation is performed regardless of the switching operation mode. It is possible to obtain the effects described above by control.
In this embodiment, the rectified voltage is detected and the reference phase is switched based on the detected information. However, the power supply voltage or the zero-cross information of the power supply voltage is detected and the reference phase is switched based on the detected information. There is no problem.
FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating a configuration example of a motor drive control device including the power conversion device according to the present embodiment. As shown in FIG. 10, the motor drive control device generates the voltage for driving the motor by converting the DC voltage output from the
The
The
The control of the
In the motor drive control apparatus shown in FIG. 10, that is, the motor drive control apparatus having the configuration in which the
Generally, the higher the rotation speed of the
In such a motor drive control device, it is not necessary to increase the bus voltage Vo in a range where the
Further, if it is not necessary to expand the operating range of the
In the power converter according to the present embodiment, when the power load on the power converter is small and the required bus voltage Vo is small, the power converter is operated in the discontinuous mode or the critical mode described above, and the power to the power converter is When the load is large and the required bus voltage Vo is large, the operation may be performed in the continuous mode. At this time, in the discontinuous mode and the critical mode, the reference phase switching control may be performed only in the continuous mode without performing the above-described reference phase switching control. Further, in the continuous mode, the reference phase switching control may be performed only under a condition in which the temperature rise becomes severe, instead of performing the reference phase switching control for the entire operation region. In this case, the influence due to the switching of the reference phase can be suppressed as much as possible, and a highly reliable system can be realized. Further, since the calculation load of the software is small, for example, the switching
Moreover, the same effect is acquired also when the motor drive control apparatus concerning this Embodiment shown in FIG. 10 is applied to an air conditioner. The air conditioner can be realized at low cost by preventing the apparatus configuration from becoming complicated.
