Claims (6)
- オーバ・ザ・ニードル式カテーテルアセンブリであって、
近位端、遠位端、前記両端間に延在するルーメンを有する本体部を含むカテーテルと、
第1の端部、第2の端部、前記両端部間に延在する中空通路を有し、前記ルーメンの少なくとも一部に挿入されるコイル挿入体と、
前記コイル挿入体の前記中空通路内に挿通されるニードルとを含み、
前記コイル挿入体により、前記カテーテルが患者の体内でねじれることを防止するように構成され、
前記アセンブリはさらに、
前記カテーテルの近位端に設けられたハブと、
前記コイル挿入体の近位端に設けられたハンドルとを含み、
前記ハンドルは前記カテーテルの前記ハブと係合可能に構成され、前記ハンドルは前記ハブと係合して、流体送達装置と接続可能なハブアセンブリを形成することを特徴とするアセンブリ。 - 前記コイル挿入体は、導電性材料を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記コイル挿入体に接続され、前記コイル挿入体を介して患者の体内の目標部位に刺激を提供するように構成された刺激アセンブリをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のアセンブリ。
- オーバ・ザ・ニードル式カテーテルアセンブリであって、
近位端、遠位端、前記両端間に延在するルーメンを有する本体部を含むカテーテルと、
前記カテーテルを患者の体内の目標部位に案内するべく、前記ルーメンの少なくとも一部に挿入されるニードルと、
前記カテーテルを前記目標部位の近傍に配置し、前記ニードルを前記カテーテルから抜去した後に、前記カテーテルの前記ルーメンの少なくとも一部に挿入される構造部材とを含み、
前記構造部材により、前記カテーテルが前記患者の体内でねじれることを防止するように構成され、
前記構造部材は、導電性のコイル挿入体を含み、
前記カテーテルは、第1の長さを有し、
前記導電性のコイル挿入体は、該導電性のコイル挿入体を前記カテーテル内に挿入したときに該導電性のコイル挿入体の遠位端が前記カテーテルの前記遠位端を越えて突出するように、前記第1の長さよりも長い第2の長さを有し、
前記アセンブリはさらに、
前記導電性のコイル挿入体の近位端に設けられたハンドルと、
前記カテーテルの近位端に設けられたハブとを含み、
前記ハンドルは前記カテーテルの前記ハブと係合可能に構成され、前記ハンドルは前記ハブと係合して、流体送達装置と接続可能なハブアセンブリを形成することを特徴とするアセンブリ。 - 前記導電性のコイル挿入体に接続され、前記導電性のコイル挿入体を介して患者の体内の目標部位に刺激を提供するように構成された刺激アセンブリをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のアセンブリ。
- 前記構造部材が、丸みを帯びた遠位端を有する中実挿入体を含み、
前記中実挿入体は、前記患者の体内で前記カテーテルを前進させることができるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のアセンブリ。
