Description
The present invention relates to a portable device that can be used inside and outside a vehicle, a program thereof, and the like.
In recent years, portable devices such as tablet computers and smartphones have been able to execute functions equivalent to those of in-vehicle devices such as PNDs (personal navigation devices and portable navigation devices) due to performance improvement and storage capacity increase. There is. Therefore, it is possible to use the portable device as a general purpose computer except during driving and as an on-vehicle device in a vehicle. When used as an on-vehicle device, it is convenient for the portable device to be installed at an appropriate place in the vehicle such as a dashboard.
Some of the applications that can be executed by the portable device include business software and games that are not supposed to be used in a vehicle, or assumed to be used in a vehicle such as car navigation, or There are also applications suitable for in-vehicle use, and the latter is considered to be frequently used in the vehicle. Some users may always use the same application in the vehicle, or may want to use the same application in the vehicle as used last time. However, in the conventional portable device, if the user does not perform certain operations, such as displaying a home screen and touching an icon of a target application, activation of an application suitable for use in a vehicle or the like Could not switch to another application.
Also, portable devices are generally envisioned for use as general purpose computers. Considering the use for general purpose, it is desirable to be able to perform various input operations. Therefore, in these portable devices, an input function such as a UI can be performed to perform as many input operations as possible on the assumption that the operation is at a position relatively close to the hand and / or focused on the screen. Is optimized. For example, in a hand-held operation, it is assumed that the portable device is held with the left hand at a position of about 20 cm from the eye, the left hand is bowed, and the screen of the right hand is touched and operated. On the other hand, assuming use in a vehicle, it is not appropriate to use the above input function as it is. When installed on a dashboard etc., the distance between the user and the portable device is longer than in the case of hand-held, extending the elbow to the portable device installed on the dashboard etc, and operating It is difficult to perform detailed operations because it is installed at a position not in front of the user because it does not interfere with driving visibility, etc., and there is shaking during traveling, and when the user is driving This is because the operation while watching on the screen is not preferable for safety. Therefore, it is desirable to provide an appropriate input function according to the use scene outside the vehicle and in the vehicle.
The present application discloses an invention that addresses all or part of the above problems or other problems.
In the present application, for example, the inventions described in the following configuration examples are disclosed.
<構成例1>
<Configuration Example 1>
A portable device capable of operating with power supplied from a plurality of external power sources including a vehicle and power supplied from an internal battery, and capable of executing a plurality of applications,
A vehicle power supply determination function that determines the presence or absence of power supply from the vehicle;
Last, which is storage means for storing information indicating the application being executed at the time of the first transition, when there is a first transition that is a transition from a state where there is power supply from a vehicle to a state where there is no power supply. Last application storage function stored in application storage means,
It has a last application activation function for activating the application indicated by the information stored in the last application storage means when there is a second transition which is a transition from a state where there is no power supply from the vehicle to a state where there is power supply Portable device.
According to such a configuration, when there is a second transition, it is possible to launch an application that was being executed at the time of the first transition. (Hereinafter, "the application being executed at the time of the first transition" is referred to as "last application".) Therefore, even if the user does not particularly perform the operation, the portable device is supplied with power from the vehicle. The last application can be used simply by changing from the absence state to the existence state. In this configuration example, even if an application other than the last application is used in a state where there is no power supply from the vehicle after the first transition, if there is a second transition thereafter, the last application is activated. Therefore, for example, the user enjoys the convenience that the same application as the user last used at the time of the last ride can be automatically started by the second transition even at the time of the current ride. Can. Generally, the type of application used by the user is different between the case where the portable device is used inside the vehicle and the case where it is used outside the vehicle, and it is considered that a specific application is often used inside the vehicle. It is convenient for the user that the same application used for the last ride is automatically started on the current ride.
The determination of the presence or absence of power supply from the vehicle can be made by various methods. For example, the portable device may communicate with the vehicle to determine whether the portable device is in the vehicle, and when power is supplied in the vehicle, it may be determined that power is supplied from the vehicle.
The information indicating the last application may be information for starting execution of the last application, for example, may be an activation path of the last application.
When the last application storage unit is configured by a non-volatile memory, the last transition occurs even when there is a second transition even when there is a power supply loss from an external power supply, a battery depletion of a portable device, an off operation by a power button, etc. It is possible to activate the application indicated by the information stored in the application storage means.
The storage of the last application in the last application storage means may be performed immediately after the first transition, because the storage of the last application can be made more reliable. For example, even if there is almost no remaining amount of the internal battery, it is considered that the power required to store the last application can be charged by the power supply from the vehicle before the first transition.
In the configuration that "the operation is possible by power supply from multiple external power sources including vehicles and power supply from internal battery", when the internal battery is charged by power supply from external power source and power supply from external power source is cut off By continuing the power supply from the battery, it is preferable that the operation can be continued. The last application storage function is preferably performed when there is such a change in the power supply state, and may be performed when power is supplied from the internal battery.
For example, a configuration in which a plurality of applications can be switched and operated in a time division manner on an operating system capable of executing a plurality of applications by, for example, multitasking is preferable as a configuration capable of executing a plurality of applications. (A dot matrix display, for example) is configured to perform drawing by executing an application program, and in particular, an area of almost the entire area of the screen by one application program (e.g., an almost entire area except an area used by the operating system) In the configuration that operates by occupying), it exerts a particularly excellent effect. For example, in order to facilitate touch operation to a touch panel provided on the screen or to reduce power consumption when executing an application, an operating system that operates by occupying almost the entire area of the screen by one application program Exerts excellent effects in application programs (eg, activities in Android). For example, since almost the entire area of the screen is occupied by one application program, the last application can be uniquely determined, and a plurality of application programs share the entire screen with, for example, a window etc. There is no need to decide which window's app to use. When the OS is Android (registered trademark), applications of “plural applications” may be activities.
In the case of a configuration in which a plurality of application programs share, for example, the entire screen in a window or the like, one application or a plurality of applications determined by a predetermined rule may be the last application, but all applications are the last application You should do it.
<構成例2>
<Configuration Example 2>
The feeding of power from the vehicle to the portable device and the feeding of power from an external power source other than the vehicle to the portable device are performed via cables of different specifications.
The portable apparatus characterized in that the vehicle power supply determination function determines the presence or absence of power supply from a vehicle based on a difference in specification of the cable.
By doing this, it may be possible to automate the determination of the presence or absence of power supply from the vehicle. For example, as a cable for supplying power from a vehicle, a cable with a specific line connected to GND is used, and as a cable for power from a power supply other than a vehicle, a cable with a specific line opened is used. It is preferable to determine the presence or absence of power supply from the vehicle depending on whether the above specific line is GND or open.
<構成例3>
<Configuration Example 3>
It also has another power source judgment function that judges the presence or absence of power supply from an external power source other than the vehicle,
When there is a third transition that is a transition from a state with power supply from an external power supply other than a vehicle to a state without power supply, information indicating the application being executed at the time of the third transition is stored in storage means A portable device characterized by not storing.
<構成例4>
In this way, it is possible to prevent an increase in processing load due to storing information that is not used, use of storage capacity, and the like.
<Configuration Example 4>
A portable device characterized in that the last application activation function is not executed when the second transition is made while the portable device is in a power-on state.
When the portable device is powered on, the user may be using another application, and when the application indicated by the information stored in the last application storage unit is activated, the user is in use. The application may be terminated. In this configuration example, it is preferable to be able to prevent inconveniences such as the application being used by the user being forcibly terminated by activating the last application.
<構成例5>
<Configuration Example 5>
A portable device, further comprising: a first transition sleep function to execute transition of the portable device to a sleep state when there is the first transition.
In this configuration example, it may be possible to prevent consumption of the internal battery when the power on state continues after the first transition. This configuration example is particularly useful in a mode in which power can be received from the vehicle only when the engine of the vehicle is on. Assuming that the portable device is used on a daily basis in a state of being connected to the power supply cable of the vehicle, in this aspect, low charge is likely to occur due to charging only while driving, so the utility of this configuration is high . Especially useful when the user's daily driving time is short, or in summer when the internal battery is not charged when the temperature is high.
<構成例6>
<Configuration Example 6>
The first transition sleep function is
The transition to the sleep state is executed after a predetermined waiting time has elapsed from the first transition,
A portable device characterized by stopping transition to the sleep state when a predetermined operation is performed on the portable device within the standby time.
In this configuration example, the transition to the sleep state can be stopped by a predetermined operation within a predetermined standby time, and the user can continue to use the portable device after the second transition as necessary. It will be good. The predetermined waiting time may be, for example, 5 seconds. The predetermined operation may be, for example, an operation on the power supply button or an operation on the touch panel. For example, when there is a first transition, the first transitional sleep function displays a message to notify the user that the mobile phone shifts to the sleep state after the standby time elapses, and a predetermined operation is performed within the standby time. If so, you may want to clear the display.
<構成例7>
<Configuration Example 7>
The portable device according to
In this configuration example, the background task is stopped at the time of transition to the sleep state by the first transition sleep function, so that the ability to prevent exhaustion of the internal battery is enhanced. The first transition sleep function may stop all or part of the background task. If the OS is Android®, all or part of the service may be stopped. For example, if it is configured to stop communication functions such as WLAN and Bluetooth (registered trademark), even if the user leaves the vehicle with the portable device in the vehicle, the portable device from the outside of the vehicle or It is even better because security can be enhanced, such as preventing unauthorized use of data. If the audio output is stopped at the time of transition to the sleep state by the first transition sleep function, the user may think that the portable device appears to be turned off in conjunction with the second transition. As the audio output continues, it is possible to prevent an unnatural feeling that can be given to the user.
<構成例8>
<Configuration Example 8>
A portable device characterized by further comprising a car mode transition function of transitioning to a car mode in which the GPS function and / or the communication function of the portable device is enabled when there is the second transition.
Applications used in vehicles often use GPS and / or communication capabilities. For example, a car navigation application may require a GPS function, and may need to connect to the net via a WLAN or the like. In addition, the application for hands-free calling requires communication with a mobile phone using wireless communication such as Bluetooth (registered trademark). In the present configuration example, when there is the second transition, it is possible to shift to the car mode in which the GPS function and / or the communication function are enabled, so that the use of such an application becomes smooth. In the car mode, it is preferable to prohibit the user from disabling the GPS function and / or the communication function. In this way, it is possible to ensure smooth use of the application used in the vehicle, and since the power supply is secured by the power supply from the vehicle, the GPS function and / or the communication function are invalidated. It may be possible to give priority to the convenience of the user who does not need to set the GPS function and / or the communication function while driving, etc., rather than preventing the internal battery from being consumed accordingly.
<構成例9>
<Configuration Example 9>
The plurality of applications are
A first launcher application for displaying a first launcher screen on which icons can be placed;
Including a second launcher application for displaying a second launcher screen capable of arranging an icon larger than the first launcher screen,
When the application indicated by the information stored in the last application storage unit is the first launcher application, the last application activation function executes the second launcher application when there is the second transition. A portable device characterized by
In this configuration example, since two types of launcher screens in which icons of different sizes are arranged can be used, user convenience may be enhanced. In addition, when the last application is the first launcher application, the second launcher screen in which the large-sized icon is arranged by the second transition is displayed. The second launcher screen is easy to operate because the size of the icon is large. When the portable device is installed in a vehicle and used, the distance between the user and the portable device increases, the user extends and operates the elbow with respect to the portable device installed in the dashboard, etc., the user Because the portable device is installed at a position not in front of the user in order not to disturb the driving visibility etc. of the user, there is shaking during traveling, and the user can not gaze at the screen during driving, etc. It is difficult to perform detailed operations, and the convenience of the user may be improved by displaying a second launcher screen that is easy to operate instead of the first launcher screen.
The icon may be, for example, an image to which a function such as activating an application corresponding to the icon is assigned when the icon is operated. For example, when the icon of the second launcher screen is activated in its entirety and configured to execute the function corresponding to the icon 121 regardless of which part of the icon is operated, the ease of operation improves. So good.
<構成例10>
<Configuration Example 10>
It also has a navigation bar display function that displays a navigation bar with icons arranged,
The second launcher screen has an icon placement area where icons can be placed and a blank area where no icons are placed,
The portable device, wherein the blank area is disposed between the navigation bar and the icon arrangement area.
In this configuration example, since the blank area is arranged between the navigation bar and the icon arrangement area, a user who intends to operate the icon in the icon arrangement area is less likely to have a disadvantage such as erroneously operating the navigation. So good. In this configuration example, in the configuration provided with an icon for transitioning to the first launcher screen in the navigation bar, the user erroneously operates the icon and the transition to the first launcher screen where the operation in the on-vehicle use situation is difficult This is particularly preferable because the inconvenience of causing the problem does not easily occur. In the present configuration example, in a portable device in which the navigation bar is always displayed by the OS, the necessity of the configuration example is high in order to prevent an erroneous operation of the navigation bar.
<構成例11>
<Configuration Example 11>
A voice command registration function for registering any one of a plurality of types of words to an icon arranged on the second launcher screen;
A portable apparatus characterized by further comprising a voice command execution function of executing a function assigned to the registered icon when the speech recognition of any of the words is performed.
In this configuration example, since the user can operate the icon of the second launcher screen by uttering a voice command, operability may be further improved. When the voice command registration function is configured to register any voice command selected from a plurality of voice commands, the target of voice recognition is limited to the plurality of voice commands, so the process relating to voice recognition is simplified. Because it is done, it is good. If the voice command registration function is configured not to register the same voice command with respect to a plurality of icons, the processing performed by the voice command execution function may be simplified. The voice command execution function may execute the function of the icon only when the second launcher screen is displayed.

The home screen display function is a function that causes the
FIG. 5A shows an example of the

As the car launcher display function causes the
FIG. 6 shows an example of the
Each icon 121 includes a
When an icon 121 registered with an application is touched on the
The entire icon 121 is active, and when any part of the icon 121 is touched, the
Since the number of icons 121 is small and the arrangement thereof is determined, the user can easily recognize the position of each icon 121 even while driving. In addition, since the icon 121 is large and the application is activated regardless of which part is touched, even if the position of the
As described above, in addition to the home screen display function of displaying the

An example of the voice
Further, the

The user setting function is a function by which the
The feeding determination function is a function by which the
In the last application storage function, when the first transition is determined by the power supply determination function, the
The last application storage function executes the above process immediately after determining the first transition. This makes it possible to more reliably store and delete the start path. This is because when the first transition is determined, the
The first transition sleep function refers to a function in which the
The last application activation function is a function in which the
As illustrated, in step S101, the
By performing such processing, if there is a forward application being executed at the time of the previous first transition, the forward application is activated in the second transition of this time. Therefore, even if the user does not perform any operation, it is convenient to connect the terminal 12 to the cigar socket with a dedicated cable, and the same application as that of the previous drive can be used, which is convenient. Also, if there is no forward application running at the time of the previous first transition, simply by connecting the terminal 12 to the cigar socket with a dedicated cable, the
Even if the second transition occurs in the power-on state of the
The tablet mode transition function is a function for setting the operating condition of the
The car mode transfer function is a function for setting the operation condition of the
As described above, in the car mode, the GPS function, the WiFi function, and the Bluetooth function are forcibly turned on, and these can not be turned off by the operation of the user. This is because these functions are functions that are necessary for the operation of many applications that are expected to be used in vehicles, such as “car navigation” and other applications for driving assistance, and “hands free”. Prevents the user's inconvenience when these functions are turned off in the car mode intended for internal use, and the above application does not work properly when the user turns off these functions by mistake This is to prevent the user from being confused or dissatisfaction with the
The state transition function is a function of performing transition between the power on / off state of the
FIG. 13 shows a part related to the transition from the power-off state of the
As illustrated, when the
If power supply to the terminal 12 is detected in the power off standby state (step S411), it is determined in step S412 whether or not power is supplied from the vehicle. If negative (N), the AC adapter is selected in step S413. In step S415 and step S416, charging at a speed according to the type of AC adapter is started, and then in step S418, the charging state is displayed, and the power-off standby state is continued. Also in the case where the battery level is low in step S407, the charging state is displayed in step S418, and the power-off standby state is continued.
If the determination in step S403 or step S412 is affirmative (Y), charging is started in step S414, and then the
FIG. 14 shows a part related to the transition from the sleep state to the tablet mode or the car mode in the state transition process.
When the
Then, if it is determined in step S502 that there is no power feeding, and if it is determined in step S504 that the power is not fed from the vehicle, the
If the determination in step S504 is affirmative (Y), the

As described above, when the
FIG. 16 shows a part related to the transition from the car mode to the sleep state in the state transition process.
When the
When the
If the determination in step S715 is affirmative (Y), the

After steps S705, S706, S707, S722, and S723, the power saving setting is read out from the
