Claims (15)
- 完成された留め具を取り付けるための方法であって、
前記留め具の頂部を硬化前より柔らかい状態から硬化させることと、
前記留め具の前記頂部が硬化された状態を維持している間に、前記留め具を構造体に取り付けること、とを含む、方法。 - 前記留め具の前記頂部を硬化させることは、
前記留め具の前記頂部を冷却することを含み、前記留め具の前記頂部は、誘電材料を含んでいる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記構造体に取り付ける際の前記留め具の前記頂部の変形が低減されるように冷却した後に、前記留め具が取り付けられる、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記留め具の前記頂部を硬化させることは、
前記留め具の前記頂部が所望のレベルの硬度を有する温度まで前記留め具を冷却することを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記留め具を冷却することは、
前記留め具のヘッド部に関連付けられた誘電材料を、当該誘電材料が所望のレベルの硬度を有するように冷却することを含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - リベットガンを用いて前記留め具を取り付けること、をさらに含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記リベットガンは、ロボット装置に関連付けられている、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ロボット装置に関連付けられた冷却システム内に前記留め具を配置することをさらに含み、前記ロボット装置を用いて前記留め具を取り付ける前に前記留め具を冷却するようにした、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記留め具の前記頂部を硬化させることは、
ドライアイス、液体窒素、冷媒、冷却器、冷却ユニット、または、冷却空気の少なくとも1つを含む冷却システムを用いて、前記留め具の前記頂部を冷却すること、を含む、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 前記留め具は、ボルト、ネジ、六角ネジ、圧嵌留め具、リベット、ロックボルト、及び、テーパー状スリーブ付きボルトから選択される、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 誘電材料を含む頂部を有する完成された留め具と、
前記留め具の前記頂部を冷却することによって前記頂部を硬化前より柔らかい状態から硬化させるように構成された冷却システムと、
前記留め具の前記頂部が硬化された状態を維持している間に、前記留め具を構造体に取り付けるように構成された工具と、を備える留め具取り付けシステム。 - 前記誘電材料は、電磁影響保護機能を与えるように構成されている、請求項11に記載の留め具取り付けシステム。
- 前記誘電材料は、電荷が侵入しないように前記留め具のヘッド部を封止するように構成された誘電キャップを形成している、請求項11または請求項12に記載の留め具取り付けシステム。
- 前記冷却システムは、前記留め具の前記頂部が所望のレベルの硬度を有する温度まで前記留め具を冷却する、請求項11〜13のいずれかに記載の留め具取り付けシステム。
- 前記工具は、リベットガンを含む、請求項11〜14のいずれかに記載の留め具取り付けシステム。
