Description

The present invention relates to an edible metal foil which is easy to handle and whose manufacturing cost is low, and a food and a cosmetic using the edible metal foil.

DESCRIPTION OF RELATED ART Conventionally, the edible metal foil which laminated | stacked metal foils, such as gold foil and silver foil, on an edible film via an adhesive layer is known.
Edible metal foil is processed into powder or chips, cut out as letters and patterns, put on food, floated in beverages, and spherical or cubic sugar or chocolate surface. Are widely used for decoration, such as coating (see Patent Document 1).
In addition, the applicants of the present invention experimentally show that the gold foil improves the skin's moisture retention (skin moisture content) and elasticity (skin elasticity (return rate)), and the gold foil provides a relaxing effect or a film-like effect to humans. It has been clarified that it has the potential to modify skin conditions (see Non-Patent Document 1), and food and cosmetics using edible metal foil are being developed to take advantage of these effects possessed by gold foil.

Here, common pullulan, velat, gelatin, agar, alginic acid, etc., as edible film materials, are excellent in hydrophilicity and water solubility, and therefore, warp due to absorption of water generated from food and the vapor generated from beverages. There is a problem in that deformation such as wrinkles and lumps occur and a problem in that the appearance of the edible metal foil is deteriorated.
In addition, the edible film has tackiness on its surface when it absorbs water, and once it comes in contact with food, it has an adhesive effect immediately to make it impossible to change its position, so that care must be taken in handling as well. there were.
Moreover, since it will mutually adhere by what is called blocking when laminating | stacking edible metal foil, there also existed a problem that it could not cut out and cut-process collectively in the laminated | stacked state.
Then, the edible metal foil which stuck metal foil on front and back both surfaces is known, after making one side (front side) of an edible film smooth and making the other side (back side) rough (patent document 2) reference).
In this edible metal foil, the metal foil is in contact with the food, so that the edible film hardly absorbs the moisture and the like of the food and has the advantage that it is difficult to deform, and the air is stagnant on the back surface unevenness so blocking is difficult to occur. There is an advantage.

However, the technology disclosed in Patent Document 2 has the following problems.
That is, since metal foil is stuck on both sides of an edible film, there is a problem that manufacturing cost increases.
Moreover, since the surface side of the edible metal foil shines without losing its gloss, and the uneven back surface side loses its gloss, it is preferable to expose the surface side during use, but the front and back are discriminated to expose the surface There is also a problem that it takes time and labor to

In view of such problems, it is an object of the present invention to provide an edible metal foil which is easy to handle and has a reduced manufacturing cost, and a food and a cosmetic using the edible metal foil.

Edible metal foil of the present invention comprises a edible film, and the adhesive layer of edible provided on both surfaces of the edible film and a metal foil affixed only to the adhesive layer of one of both surfaces of the adhesive layer The metal foil contains at least one of gold, silver, copper and platinum, and the material of the adhesive layer on both sides is the same and the metal foil can not be attached By making the thickness of the adhesive layer thinner than the thickness of the adhesive layer to which the metal foil is attached, the adhesive layer of the one to which the metal foil is not attached due to the absorption of moisture is warped to cause the metal It is characterized in that the foil is deformed to be exposed .
Moreover, it is characterized in that the surface of the edible film on the side on which the metal foil is not attached is formed rougher than the surface on the side on which the metal foil is attached.
In addition, the edible film is characterized by having a large number of air bubbles in the inside thereof.
Further, the food of the present invention is characterized by using the above-mentioned edible metal foil.
The cosmetic of the present invention is characterized by using the above-mentioned edible metal foil.

In the present invention, by providing the adhesive layer on both sides of the edible membrane, both sides of the edible membrane are supported by the adhesive layer. Therefore, even when the edible film absorbs water, it becomes difficult to deform, and as a result, the deformation of the entire edible metal foil can be suppressed.
In addition, the adhesive layer on the side to which the metal foil is not attached (the adhesive layer on the back side) exerts an adhesive effect and adheres to food etc., so that the position of the edible metal foil placed on food shifts or peels off It can prevent.
The degree of deformation of the edible film can also be adjusted by changing the thickness or material of each of the adhesive layers on both the front and back sides. For example, if making the material of each adhesive layer the same and making the adhesive layer on the side to which metal foil is not attached (the adhesive layer on the back side) thinner than the other adhesive layer (the adhesive layer on the front side) The adhesive layer (the adhesive layer on the back side) is relatively flexible. Therefore, since the edible film that has absorbed water tends to warp in the direction of the thinner adhesive layer (the adhesive layer on the back surface side), the metal foil can be naturally deformed to be exposed.
The same effect is obtained by changing the material of each adhesive layer and making the adhesive layer on the side to which the metal foil is not attached (the adhesive layer on the back side) softer than the other adhesive layer (the adhesive layer on the front side) It is obtained also when it is high). As described above, by changing the thickness or material of each adhesive layer to adjust the degree of deformation of the edible film, it is possible not only to make it difficult to deform when absorbing water, but also to be able to deform positively. Therefore, it is possible to produce an edible metal foil that is three-dimensionally deformed from a planar shape by the absorption of water.
Further, the thickness and the material of each adhesive layer may be changed in consideration of the fact that the adhesive layer on the back surface side absorbs moisture relatively easily as compared to the adhesive layer on the front surface side.

In addition, if the surface (back side) of the edible film on the side to which the metal foil can not be attached is formed rougher than the other surface (front side), the adhesive layer on the back side is also uneven. When metal foils are laminated, air is retained between the irregularities of the adhesive layer, and blocking can be suppressed. In addition, without forming a rough surface, the adhesive force of the adhesive layer on the back surface side may be weakened to suppress blocking.
Further, by forming a large number of air bubbles in the edible film, the flexibility can be increased and the stickiness at the time of water absorption can be suppressed, so that the texture of the food can be kept good. In addition, since the buoyancy is increased while becoming fragile, it is possible to obtain the visual effect of breaking up in the beverage for a while and then dispersing it in the beverage. Moreover, the usage-amount of material can be restrained, ensuring the volume of an edible film.
In addition, if the metal foil containing at least one of gold, silver, copper and platinum, or using a metal foil consisting of a traditional foiling process, the metal foil consisting of a traditional foiling process is sputtered. Because the amount of chemical substance used is small compared to industrially manufactured metal foils such as the law, it is known that there is no adverse effect on human body if it is an appropriate amount, and edible metal foils are used as food and cosmetics. It can enhance the safety when used.
Moreover, since it has become possible to manufacture edible metal foil also by industrial methods, such as sputtering method, a vacuum evaporation method, or an ion plating method, with technological innovation in recent years, it manufactured by the industrial method. If the edible metal foil is used, the manufacturing cost of the edible metal foil can be suppressed.
In particular, when the metal foil contains gold, the gold foil improves the skin's moisture retention (skin moisture content) and elasticity (skin elasticity (return rate)) by experiments, or the gold foil has a relaxing effect or film-like appearance. As it has been proven to have an effect, it can effectively modify skin symptoms if used in cosmetics.

An embodiment of the edible metal foil of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
As shown in FIG. 1, the edible metal foil 10 is composed of an edible film 20, an adhesive layer 30 and a metal foil 40. The structures and dimensions of the edible film 20, the adhesive layer 30, and the metal foil 40 in the figure are only schematically represented.
The edible film 20 is used to support the metal foil 40 from its back side, and is made of an edible material.
As the edible membrane 20, a well-known membrane having hydrophilicity and water solubility such as pullulan, velat, yuba, gelatin, starch, such as gelatin, agar, alginic acid, carbohydrate, or protein, can be used.
In the present embodiment, the surface (rear surface) 21 of the edible film 20 on the side to which the metal foil 40 is not attached is formed rougher than the surface (surface) 22 on the side to which the metal foil 40 is attached. doing.
As a method of forming a rough surface on the edible film 20, for example, the material of the edible film 20 in the form of a liquid is applied and hardened on a base having fine unevenness, and the fine unevenness is made edible film 20. Although the method of transcribe | transferring to one side of these, the method of filing the said smooth surface after filing a smooth surface once in the edible film 20, etc. are mentioned, it is not limited to these.
Further, in the present embodiment, the edible film 20 has a large number of air bubbles 23 therein. As a method of dispersing the air bubbles 23 in the edible film 20, air in the atmosphere is sent into the material of the liquid edible film 20 using a foaming machine, and the bubbles are formed by dispersing it. There is a gas-containing stirring method in which a foam-containing liquid is applied onto a base and dried, but the method is not limited to this method, and a known method can be used. However, the method of using a chemical substance such as a foaming agent (surfactant) is not preferable from the viewpoint of food safety.

The adhesive layer 30 is provided on both the front and back sides of the edible film 20, and is made of an edible material.
As an edible material which comprises the contact bonding layer 30, well-known edible adhesives, such as a starch syrup, a starch paste, a natural gum, shellac, etc. can be used, for example.
As described below, a metal layer is attached to the adhesive layer 30a provided on the surface of the edible film 20, and the adhesive layer 30b provided on the back surface of the edible film is attached to the surface of food or the like.

The metal foil 40 is attached only to the adhesive layer 30 a on the surface side among the adhesive layers 30 a and 30 b provided on both sides of the edible film 20.
As a kind of metal which comprises metal foil 40, although single metals, such as gold, silver, copper, platinum, or an alloy of these metals are mentioned, it is not limited to these. In particular, it is preferable that the metal contains at least one of gold, silver, copper and platinum in terms of obtaining the effect of enhancing the safety to the human body and the elasticity and moisture retention of the skin. The thickness of the metal foil 40 can be adjusted as appropriate, but is generally about 0.1 to 1.5 μm.
Moreover, as the metal foil 40, it is preferable to use the metal foil which consists of a traditional foil stamping process. It is known that metal foils, which consist of traditional foil stamping processes, use less chemical substances compared to industrially manufactured metal foils such as sputtering, so that there is no adverse effect on the human body if appropriate. It is possible to improve the safety of the edible metal foil 10 when used for food and cosmetics. Moreover, you may use the edible metal foil manufactured by industrial methods, such as sputtering method, a vacuum evaporation method, or the ion plating method.

When the edible metal foil 10 of the present invention having the above configuration is placed on the surface of a food containing water or floated on the surface of a beverage, the adhesive layers 30a and 30b support the front and back sides of the edible film 20. Since the water is difficult to reach the edible film 20, deformation due to water absorption is unlikely to occur.
Then, after a certain time has passed, moisture is spread to the edible film 20 and absorbed so that the edible metal foil 10 tries to deform such as warping as a whole while dissolving a part of it, but the adhesive layer 30a Since both the front and back sides are supported by and 30b, deformation does not actually occur, and the appearance of the edible metal foil 10 can be maintained in a good condition for a long time.

Further, when the edible metal foil 10 is floated on the surface of the beverage when the edible film 20 includes a large number of air bubbles 23 as in the present embodiment, the edible film 20 mainly contains the air bubbles 23 after a predetermined time has elapsed. Thus, the metal foil 40 is disintegrated and dissolved together with the metal foil 40, whereby the metal foil 40 can be dispersed in the beverage.
Further, as shown in FIG. 2, when the edible film 20 of the edible metal foil 11 does not include the air bubbles 23, the strength of the edible film 20 is higher than that of the edible film 20 including the air bubbles 23. Even when 20 absorbs a certain amount of water, it is difficult to disintegrate and dissolve, and the appearance of the edible metal foil 10 can be maintained in a good state for a longer time.
Moreover, although the back surface 21 of the edible film 20 is configured to be a rough surface in the present embodiment, it may be configured to be a smooth surface as shown in FIG. When it comprises in a smooth surface, the manufacturing process of the edible film 20 and the edible metal foil 12 can be simplified.

The present invention is an edible metal foil which is easy to handle and reduces the manufacturing cost, and a food and a cosmetic using the edible metal foil, and has industrial applicability.
