Description
The present invention relates to a plant growth index measuring apparatus and a plant growth index measuring method for obtaining a growth index that represents the degree of growth in a plant.
In agriculture, it is necessary to appropriately carry out fertilization management such as the time of topdressing and the amount of topdressing, for example, in order to grow plants of high quality and stable crops. Therefore, the current plant state is determined. For this determination, a leaf color plate (leaf color scale) provided with a plurality of color samples whose colors gradually changed from yellowish green to dark green, for example, since the darkness of the leaf color represents the state of the plant. It is used. Since the determination of the state of a plant using such a leaf-colored plate is a subjective determination or is not suitable for agricultural industrialization, various devices have been researched and developed in recent years. One example is a plant sensor device disclosed in

By the way, according to the said

The irradiation
When the spot light irradiation condition satisfies a predetermined condition, the inclination of the spot light with respect to the optical axis in the measurement object imaged by the
And when the irradiation state of the spot light satisfies a predetermined condition, the measurement object imaged by the

Further, for example, the breeding index is a leaf color plate value. In this case, a correspondence relationship between the reflectance or the amount of reflected light and the leaf color plate value (usually an integer value from 1 to 7) is obtained in advance, the correspondence relationship is stored in the
For example, the said growth index is a value of a chlorophyll meter. The value of the chlorophyll meter is, for example, a SPAD value indicating the chlorophyll content. In this case, the correspondence relationship between the reflectance or the reflected light amount and the SPAD (Soil & Plant Analyzer Development) value is obtained in advance, and this correspondence relationship is stored in the
Note that there is a relationship of (SPAD value) = (leaf color plate value) × 5 + 15 between the leaf color plate value and the SPAD value, for example.

In such a plant growth index measuring device M, first, the plant growth index measuring device M is arranged so that the spot light of the measurement light strikes the leaves of the plant to be measured by the user (operator). Thereby, the imaging direction of the
In FIG. 2, the
Here, the spot light irradiation timing at which the spot
During the acquisition of such an on-image and off-image, for example, as shown in FIG. 5, if the plant leaf RE to be measured is tilted with respect to the optical axis of the spot
More specifically, first, in process S2, the irradiation
In process S3, the irradiation
In process S4, the growth
Here, the relationship between the plant growth state and the reflectance or the amount of reflected light will be described. The growing state of a plant, for example, the growing state of rice, is determined by the color of the leaves, and the growing state is determined to be better as the green color changes from yellowish green. Therefore, when the leaf color is yellowish green, a countermeasure such as topdressing is required. This leaf color depends on the unit amount of chlorophyll (chlorophyll) contained in the leaf, that is, the nitrogen content. If the nitrogen content is relatively low (if the nitrogen content value is relatively small), the leaf color is yellowish green. On the other hand, if the nitrogen content is relatively large (if the nitrogen content value is relatively large), the leaf color is dark green. Therefore, the spectral reflection characteristics of rice, for example, as shown in FIG. 9, from the curve α1 when the nitrogen content is relatively least, as the nitrogen content increases, the curve α2, the curve α3, the curve α4, A curve α5 is obtained, which is a curve α6 when the nitrogen content is relatively large. As can be seen from the curves α1 to α6 of these spectral reflection characteristics, the spectral reflection characteristics of rice differ in the wavelength range of about 500 nm to about 670 nm depending on the nitrogen content. For this reason, by calculating | requiring the reflectance of a leaf, nitrogen content can be known and, as a result, a growing state can be determined.
Since the spectral reflectance of the leaf is constant regardless of the illuminance due to the characteristics of photosynthesis, the reflected light amount of the leaf is proportional to the illuminance for each nitrogen content, for example, as shown in FIG. The relationship between the illuminance of rice leaves and the amount of reflected light per unit area is such that the nitrogen content is relative to the straight line β1 as the nitrogen content increases from the straight line β1 when the nitrogen content is relatively smallest. Therefore, the straight line β3 in the case of the largest number is obtained. As can be seen from the straight lines β1 to β3 of the relationship, the slope of the straight line in the relationship varies depending on the nitrogen content, and the slope of the straight line in the relationship increases as the nitrogen content decreases. In the example shown in FIG. 10, the relationship between the slopes between the straight lines β1 to β3 is (the slope of the straight line β1 ΔR1 / ΔL)> (the slope of the straight line β2 ΔR2 / ΔL)> (the slope of the straight line β3 Δ R3 / ΔL). For this reason, by irradiating the leaf irradiated with the ambient light with the spot light, the illuminance irradiated on the leaf is changed (ΔL), and the change ΔR in the reflected light amount of the leaf in that case is measured. The straight line slope ΔR / ΔL in the above relationship is known, the nitrogen content is known, and as a result, the growing state can be determined.
More specifically, when obtaining the reflectance, the breeding
Next, in process S5, the growth
Then, in process S6, the
As described above, since the plant growth index measuring device and the plant growth index measuring method implemented in the embodiment include the irradiation
If the measurement target is tilted beyond the predetermined range with respect to the optical axis of the spot
If the measurement object moves beyond a predetermined range during the on / off of spot light irradiation, the on-image of the measurement object and the off-image of the measurement object have different shapes that exceed the allowable range. Or the amount of reflected light cannot be calculated | required appropriately, Therefore, it becomes impossible to obtain | require a growth parameter | index appropriately. In the plant growth index measurement device and the plant growth index measurement method implemented in the present embodiment, when the spotlight irradiation condition satisfies a predetermined condition, the movement of the measurement target is within a predetermined second range Therefore, the plant growth index measurement device and the plant growth index measurement method implemented in this embodiment can determine the suitability of spot light irradiation according to the movement of the measurement target, and can obtain a significant measurement result. .
When the spot
In addition, the plant growth index measuring apparatus and the plant growth index measurement method implemented in this embodiment use laser light as spot light, so that the spot light can be made brighter and can be measured even in bright outdoors, and more It is also possible to measure a remote measurement object.
