Claims (13)
- 無線ネットワークに接続された第1の無線デバイスが、n個の離散的な時間状態からなる反復時間間隔Tを用いて、前記無線ネットワーク内の複数の無線サービスまたは複数のアプリケーションの検出を同期する方法であって、
(i)前記n個の離散的な時間状態から1つの時間状態を選択する段階と、
(ii)前記選択された時間状態で前記反復時間間隔Tの間に1回、所与のサービスまたはアプリケーションをサポートする前記第1の無線デバイスによって検出を行う段階と、
前記n個の離散的な時間状態の全てが反復なく選択されるまで、前記反復時間間隔Tのうちの連続したもので前記段階(i)、(ii)を反復する段階と
を備える方法。 - 前記第1の無線デバイスは、前記反復時間間隔Tのそれぞれにおいて前記検出を行っていない各時間状態の間にスリープモードに入るか、または留まる段階を更に備える、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (iii)前記無線ネットワークに接続を希望する第2の無線デバイスが、第2の選択された時間状態で前記反復時間間隔Tの間に1回、前記所与のサービスまたはアプリケーションを検索すべく、検出を行う段階と、
前記第2の無線デバイスが前記所与のサービスまたはアプリケーションの位置を突き止めるまで、前記反復時間間隔Tのそれぞれで、前記第2の選択された時間状態を用いて、前記段階(iii)を反復する段階と
を更に備える、請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 前記無線ネットワークは、複数の周波数状態を有する周波数のセットΦを用い、
前記第1の無線デバイスは、前記選択された時間状態および選択された周波数状態の組み合わせで前記反復時間間隔Tの間に1回、検出を行い、
前記第1の無線デバイスは、前記n個の離散的な時間状態および周波数のセットΦの周波数状態の全ての可能な組み合わせが選択されるまで、前記反復時間間隔Tのそれぞれで時間状態および周波数状態の異なる組み合わせを選ぶ、請求項1または2に記載の方法。 - 前記無線ネットワークは複数の周波数状態を有する周波数のセットΦを用い、
前記第2の無線デバイスは、前記第2の選択された時間状態および周波数状態の組み合わせで前記反復時間間隔Tの間に1回、検出を行い、
前記第2の無線デバイスは、前記第2の無線デバイスが前記所与のサービスまたはアプリケーションの位置を突き止めるまで、前記反復時間間隔Tのそれぞれで前記第2の選択された時間状態および前記周波数状態の同一の組み合わせを選ぶ、請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記時間状態および前記周波数状態の組み合わせは、前記反復時間間隔Tのそれぞれについてランダムに決定される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記時間状態および前記周波数状態の前記組み合わせは、前記第2の無線デバイスについて、ランダムに決定される、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の無線デバイスは乱数シード値を有するグループのメンバーであり、
前記第1の無線デバイスの時間状態および/または周波数状態の組み合わせは、前記乱数シード値に基いて選ばれる、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記グループの複数のメンバーに対する複数の乱数シード値は相関する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の無線デバイスは、前記位置を突き止めたサービスまたはアプリケーションに基いてグループに加わる、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記反復時間間隔TをN回反復する間に、時間状態および/または周波数状態の全ての可能な組み合わせが選択される、請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記Nが素数である、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記n個の離散的な時間状態から複数の時間状態を選択する順序はランダムである、請求項1から12のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
