該球状部を回動可能に支承する球受部を有する球座ベースと、
前記球状部を前記球受部に収容しておくための円環状の球座カバーとで構成され、
前記摩耗ゲージは、球座カバー上に載置されるC字状の大片部材と、該大片部材の間隙部に挿入可能な小片部材とで形成されていることを特徴とする摩耗ゲージ。
