Claims (6)
- 内燃機関のエアクリーナであって、
上面に開口する出口通路が形成されたベース部材と、
上下に延びる略円筒形に形成され、前記ベース部材の上面に配置されて内部が前記出口通路に連通したフィルタエレメントと、
前記ベース部材の上部に結合され、前記フィルタエレメントを受容するフィルタ室、前記フィルタ室の上部から側方に延びる連結室、前記フィルタ室の側方かつ前記連結室の下方に配置され、下方に向けて開口する通路室、前記通路室と前記連結室と連通する連通孔、及び前記通路室と外部とを連通する吸気口を備えたカバー部材と、
前記通路室の下部を閉じるように配置される基部、前記基部を上下に貫通する複数の円孔、共通の前記基部に支持され、前記円孔のそれぞれの中央を上下に貫通して延び、上端において共通の前記連通孔と連通すると共に前記連結室と前記通路室とを隔離する複数の空気排出管、前記円孔の内周面と前記空気排出管の外周面とによって画定され、前記基部を上下に貫通する円環形の空気流入通路、及び前記空気排出管の外周面から放射方向に延びて前記円孔の内周面に結合し、前記空気流入通路を下方に向けて流れる空気を周方向に旋回させる複数のガイド羽根を有する通路部材と、
前記基部の下面に当接する上板部、及び前記上板部からそれぞれ下方に突出した複数のカップ部を備えたケース部材とを有し、
前記カップ部のそれぞれは、それらの内部に、互いに対応する前記空気流入通路及び前記空気排出管に連通する有底円筒形の分離室を形成することを特徴とするエアクリーナ。 - 前記空気排出管のそれぞれの上端部には、前記空気排出管のそれぞれの上端部を連結すると共に、前記連通孔の周縁部に当接し、複数の前記空気排出管と前記連通孔と連通すると共に前記連結室と前記通路室とを隔離する共通のフランジが設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエアクリーナ。
- 前記フランジは、複数の前記空気排出管に対して別部材として形成され、前記空気排出管のそれぞれの上端に装着されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のエアクリーナ。
- 前記通路部材は、着脱可能に互いに結合されるカバー部材及びケース部材の間に挟持されることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1つの項に記載のエアクリーナ。
- 前記ガイド羽根は、前記空気流入通路の軸線方向から見て互いに重なりを有さないように、周方向に等間隔に8個設けられ、前記空気流入通路の軸線と直交する平面に対して30°以上37°以下の角度をなすことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1つの項に記載のエアクリーナ。
- 前記基部が板状をなし、
前記上板部が板状をなすことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1つの項に記載のエアクリーナ。
