Description
The present invention relates to a technique for inspecting a connection relationship between a plurality of servers and a plurality of uninterruptible power supplies that supply power to the servers.
UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply:無停電電源装置)は、停電時等に動作が停止することを防ぐ必要があるサーバ等に対して使用する電源装置である。 A UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) is a power supply device used for a server or the like that needs to prevent operation from being stopped when a power failure occurs. The UPS and the server are generally connected by a power line (power cable). The connection relationship between the UPS and the server (for example, the wiring connection relationship and the energized state (power supply state). The same applies hereinafter) is required to be visually confirmed by an operator during system construction and periodic inspection. As the number of UPS and servers increases, the work becomes very complicated.
In order to solve this problem, there is a technology called power line communication (PLC) that uses a power line as a communication line. Non-Patent
However, the technique described in Non-Patent

<First Embodiment>
(Power control system)
A configuration example of the power
A
In the power
The
The
UPS3は、任意のプログラムにて制御可能であるが、その一例としてSNMP(Simple Network Management Protocol)カードを使用する場合について説明する。
The
The
As shown in FIG. 1, the
The
The
(Power control device)
As shown in FIG. 2, the power
The
The
The
The notification receiving unit 1b receives from the
The
The determination unit 1d obtains device combinations A to D of the
The
The
(Operation of power control system)
The operation of the power
First, the operation in which the power
First, in step S101, the
UPS3aは、2回目のONからOFF後、B秒後に3回目のON状態となる。
This operation will be described with reference to a timing chart shown in FIG. In this timing chart, the number of times each UPS is turned on is three. The
UPS3bは、2回目のONからOFF後、D秒後に3回目のON状態となる。
Similarly, the
In step S102, the
Thus, the operation for setting the timing for receiving the notification from each of the
Next, in the power
First, in step S201, the
In step S204, the
In step S205, when the notification receiving unit 1b receives the notification, the reception time of the notification is stored in the history memory in the
In step S206, the determination unit 1d determines whether this notification is the last notification, that is, whether the number of counter memories is equal to or greater than a preset number. If it is not the last notification, the process proceeds to step S207. If it is the last notification, the process proceeds to step S211.
In step S207, after a predetermined time elapses (for example, 1 second after power-on (ON)), the
In step S210, the
In step S211, the
In step S212, the determination unit 1d acquires an interval corresponding to the
In step S213, the
Finally, in step S214, the determination unit 1d determines whether the processing in steps S201 to S213 has been executed for all the device combinations A to D. When the process is not executed for all the device combinations A to D, the determination unit 1d selects the
In the above description, it has been described that the power
In the case of the first modification, the counter memory for each device combination is not necessary in the
In the first embodiment, power supply to the
Operation | movement of 1 A of power supply control apparatuses which concern on the
In this embodiment, the notification is performed when the
A case where notification is made when the server is terminated will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG. In this case, after the
A case where notification is given at the time of starting and ending the server will be described with reference to the flowchart of FIG. In this case, after the
These modified examples 1 to 3 can also be applied to the second to fourth embodiments described later.
As described above, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the connection relationship between the
<Second Embodiment>
In the first embodiment, the power
(Power control system)
As shown in FIG. 10, the power
As shown in FIG. 11, the power
The
The
The

Other devices, units, etc. are the same as those in the first embodiment.
(Operation of power control system)
The operation of the power
First, the operation in which the power
First, in step S301, the
This operation will be described with reference to a timing chart shown in FIG. In this timing chart, the power ON / OFF switching timing of each UPS is appropriate (for example, every second), but the number of times varies from UPS to UPS. The
In step S302, the
Thus, the operation for setting the number of times of receiving notifications from the
Next, in the power
Steps S401 to S404 are the same as steps S201 to S204 in FIG.
In step S405, when the power
In step S406, the
Steps S407 to S409 are the same as steps S207 to S209 in FIG.
In step S412, the
In step S413, the
Finally, in step S414, the determination unit 1d determines whether the processing in steps S401 to S413 has been executed for all the device combinations A to D. When the processing is not executed for all the device combinations A to D, the determination unit 1d selects the unprocessed device combination UPS3 and returns the process to step S401.
A modification of the second embodiment will be described. In the above description, it has been described that the power
As described above, according to the second embodiment of the present invention, the connection relation between the UPS and the server and the power supply state are inspected without grasping the cost without checking in advance (the connection relation is grasped). can do. That is, it is possible to confirm the power supply state between the devices without checking the wiring connection relationship by visual inspection or the like and without introducing a device such as PLC. This is because the
Furthermore, in the second embodiment, since the determination is based on an easily countable element such as the number of notifications from the

The decision table memory 20i stores decision table data including an interval that should be taken from one notification to the next notification as a time interval based on the device combination.
When the
The
The

Other devices, units, etc. are the same as those in the first embodiment and the second embodiment.
(Operation of power control system)
The operation of the power
First, the operation in which the power
First, in step S501, the setting unit 20f of the power
In step S502, the setting unit 20f sets a notification interval for each group. All the
FIG. 20 is a timing chart illustrating an example of the number of notifications to be set and an interval. In the timing chart shown in FIG. 20, the number of times of power-on (ON) is 3 in
If it takes 1 second to switch from the ON state to the OFF state, the
In step S503, the setting unit 20f stores the set interval in the determination table memory 20i (FIG. 18) for each device combination for each group.
Thus, the operation for setting the number of notifications and the notification reception interval from each of the
Next, in the power
First, Steps S601 to S604 are the same as Steps S101 to S104 in FIG.
In step S605, when the power
In step S606, the
Steps S607 to S610 are the same as steps S207 to 210 in FIG.
In step S611, the
Specifically, consider a case where the processing of
In step S612, the
Specifically, for example, in the case of the
In step S613, the
Finally, in step S614, the

That is, it is possible to confirm the power supply state between the devices without checking the wiring connection relationship by visual inspection or the like and without introducing a device such as PLC. This is because the power management unit 20a controls the supply of power from the
Furthermore, in the third embodiment, device combinations are grouped, the number of notifications is changed according to the group, and the notification interval is changed within each group.

An example of turning on and off the power will be described with reference to the timing chart of FIG. The vertical axis of the timing chart indicates the types of device combinations including the uninterruptible power supply devices and their power supply states (ON and OFF). The horizontal axis of the timing chart indicates time (seconds). As shown in FIG. 25, there are three device combinations, and it is assumed that the first time required for power-on (ON), power-off (OFF) and detection thereof for each device combination is, for example, 10 seconds.
The
The operation of the power
In step S61, the
In step S62, the
If the predetermined time has elapsed in step S63 (YES in step S63),
In step S <b> 64, the
