Description

The present invention relates to a temporary complete denture and a method for producing a simple complete denture that can be easily produced in a short time using the temporary complete denture.

As is well known, when a complete denture is made by a dentist at a dental clinic or the like, it usually requires about 5 visits in about one month. For this reason, if a person who uses dentures on a regular basis encounters natural disasters such as earthquakes, floods, traffic accidents, fires, etc. and loses or breaks dentures, or is bedridden at home or in a sanatorium In cases where a complete denture is required, a period of time until the complete denture is created, a person is forced to live in a casual manner in daily meals and conversations. Furthermore, when face to face, lack of aesthetics tends to be a reluctant activity, which reduces the chances of going out and dialogues, and contributes to the health impairment of the elderly. Alternatively, before a semi-permanent complete denture was prepared and used in earnest, there was a demand for people who wanted to experience the sensation by fitting the complete denture on a trial basis.

In view of such circumstances, Patent Document 1 proposes a simple complete denture that can be easily created. This simple denture is composed of an artificial denture upper denture part that is arranged in advance, an artificial denture lower denture part, a holder for fitting and holding them, and an upper denture part. And a shape-retaining material attached to the inner surface of the lower denture part. According to this simple denture, each individual user selects and purchases a suitable one from several types from a pharmacy, etc., owns the complete denture with the handle part of the holder, puts it in the oral cavity, and further the upper jaw Put the shape-holding material on the inner surface of the denture part and lower denture part and mesh it several times, then hold the handle part of the holder, put it out of the oral cavity, cut off the protruding shape-holding material with a knife, After repeating these operations and engaging each other to check for pain and abnormalities, the dentures are hardened and solidified by, for example, exposing them to light, applying heat, or leaving them naturally. Yes.

However, according to the above-mentioned conventional technology, the user has to make a difficult selection by fitting and selecting one of the upper and lower jaw denture parts that are sealed and sold at pharmacies. There is a problem that it takes a lot of work. In addition, the fit of the selected maxillary denture part and the mandibular denture part in the oral cavity can be done by putting a shape-retaining material on the inner surface of the maxillary denture part and the inner surface of the mandibular denture part and then chewing it several times using the inner holder. There is a problem in that it takes time and effort because it is necessary to repeat the work of aligning and scraping the protruding shape-retaining material with a knife each time. In addition, the shape retention material must be hardened by immersion in hot water or exposure to light depending on the nature of the shape retention material that forms the upper denture part and lower denture part after it has been meshed without a sense of incongruity. However, there is a problem that it takes time and effort. In addition, there is a problem of the material that a special shape retaining material such as thermosetting or photocuring must be used. Furthermore, since the tooth arrangement is sold in a fixed state, there is a problem that the teeth corresponding to the aesthetics desired can not be changed.

A manufacturing method for preparing a simple lower complete denture using the above-described temporary lower complete denture is a paraffin wax that softens at 40 to 50 ° C. and includes a lower marginal portion having a shape that covers the lower alveolar ridge in the oral cavity. A mandibular artificial denture base made of a molded body, a mandibular artificial tooth erection portion made of a utility wax softened in a deformable manner at a lower temperature than the mandibular temporary denture base attached to the mandibular margin, and the mandibular artificial tooth implant a manufacturing method for making a simple mandibular dentures with detachable and a plurality of mandibular artificial teeth that are Hairetsu embedded the root freely displaceable, the temporary mandibular temporary dentures provided to Tatsubu, the temporary A softening step of softening the lower denture base denture base at a temperature of 40 to 50 ° C., an intraoral fitting step of pressing and stabilizing the soft lower denture base against the lower alveolar ridge, and taking it out from the oral cavity Lower jaw temporary A mold making process using a flask to mold a mandibular artificial tooth implant with a dental implant and a mandibular artificial tooth embedded therein, and a mandibular temporary denture base and a mandibular artificial tooth embedded from the flask after the impression material was cured Taking out the mandibular artificial tooth erection part, curing the mandibular artificial tooth removed from the mandibular artificial tooth erection part in the flask and returning it to the corresponding original form of the remaining impression material, molding in the flask A transfer process for transferring the shape of the impression material in the flask with the lower jaw artificial teeth attached and a finish for performing necessary deburring and denture lining by removing the molding resin from the flask after curing. A simple mandibular complete denture is produced by sequentially executing the steps .

In the intraoral alignment step, when the mandibular provisional denture base is pressed against the mandibular alveolar ridge and stabilized, the shape-retaining material is detachably attached to the mandibular marginal portion which is the mandibular provisional denture base.

The intraoral alignment step includes an arrangement adjustment step of a plurality of mandibular prosthetic teeth that are arranged with their roots embedded in the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion.

The molding resin is an instant polymerization resin.

The upper and lower mandibular denture bases and temporary mandibular denture bases of the temporary maxillary denture and temporary mandibular complete denture are made of a wax molded product that becomes soft at a temperature of 40 to 50 ° C. Therefore, it is easy to fit it so as to follow the palate or alveolar ridge in the patient's mouth, and the shape can be adjusted easily. Even when a shape-retaining material is used to fill the gap, it is flexible and easily fits well. In addition, since the maxillary and mandibular denture bases are flexible, they extend when pressed in the patient's oral cavity, so they are versatile and easy to combine. So it is economical. Furthermore, since it hardens | cures below 40 degreeC, a shape can be maintained after type | mold alignment, and it does not interfere with the post-molding process of a post process. Furthermore, the upper and lower mandibular prosthetic implants use wax members that are deformable at lower temperatures than the upper and lower mandibular denture bases, so the roots of the artificial teeth are arranged like natural teeth. If the roots are filled in advance, they can be used as they are, and the aesthetic engagement of the upper and lower artificial teeth, inclination, length, spacing, etc. can be freely adjusted using fingers or tools. In addition, no adhesive is required to attract the upper and lower jaw denture bases. Furthermore, when removing the artificial teeth from the upper and lower mandibular prosthesis, the upper mandibular prosthetic erection may be constructed by simply pulling out one by one with a finger, but applying a little warm water. Since the wax member dissolves, it can be easily removed at once, and the removal operation is simple.

In the above-mentioned temporary maxillary denture and temporary mandibular complete denture, simple maxillary dentures and simple mandibular complete dentures are prepared. It is easy to work on because it uses familiar tools and materials and does not require any special items. The time required for preparing the simple maxillary denture and the simple mandibular complete denture, which is the final product, can be about 2 hours if used, and can be used particularly effectively in the case of urgent necessity as described above. Furthermore, with the artificial teeth up and the roots embedded in the mandibular prosthesis, the placement and biting of the upper and lower jaw prosthetic teeth can be adjusted because the degree of embedding, inclination, left and right spacing adjustment, etc. are adjustable. Therefore, it is possible to easily obtain the user's favorite aesthetics.

A plurality of the maxillary artificial teeth 15 are provided.

The palate portion 11 and the upper marginal edge portion 12 that form the upper denture base 13 are the same integrally molded material, and as shown in FIG. A material that is soft at a temperature of ˜50 ° C., is deformable and maintains a deformed shape at room temperature and is harmless to the human body is used. For example, a paraffin wax molded body is preferably exemplified. The maxillary artificial tooth planting portion 14 embeds or removes the maxillary artificial tooth 15 to a desired depth, further changes the inclination, or changes the outer shape of the maxillary artificial tooth planting portion 14 itself with a finger. A soft wax member can be suitably used even at room temperature where the above can be repeated. An example is utility wax. The wax member of the upper jaw artificial tooth planting portion 14 has a property of being softened at a lower temperature than the wax molded body constituting the upper jaw temporary denture base 13.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6, the mandibular complete denture 2 is paired with the maxillary complete denture 1 and straddles the upper part of the mandibular alveolar ridge b in a standard human oral cavity. A mandibular prosthetic denture base 23 composed of a mandibular marginal portion 22 having a parabolic shape and a substantially inverted U-shaped cross-section, and a mandibular artificial tooth planting on the upper surface of the protrusion of the mandibular marginal portion 22 And a plurality of mandibular artificial teeth 25 having roots embedded in the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24 and arranged in the same order as the number of natural teeth. The mandibular temporary denture base 23 and the mandibular artificial tooth erection part 24 are made of the same material because they have the same actions as the upper jaw temporary denture base 13 and the upper jaw artificial tooth erection part 14 described above. The lower jaw artificial tooth planting portion 24, like the upper jaw artificial tooth planting portion 15, embeds or pulls out the lower jaw artificial tooth 25 to a desired depth, and further changes the inclination or lower jaw artificial tooth planting portion 24. A wax member that is soft even at room temperature, such as utility wax, that can be repeatedly changed by pressing its outer shape with a finger, is preferably used. The wax member of the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24 has a property of being softened at a lower temperature than the wax molded body constituting the lower jaw temporary denture base 23.

An embodiment of a method for producing a simple maxillary denture 101 using the temporary maxillary denture 1 having the above configuration will be described with reference to FIGS. First, as shown in FIG. 7, as shown in FIG. 7, the mucous membrane surface 11a is aligned with the palate of the upper jaw in the patient's oral cavity, and as shown in FIG. Then try the temporary upper complete denture 1. At this time, excess portions of the palatal portion 11 and the upper marginal edge portion 12 constituting the upper denture base 13 are cut and adjusted with scissors or the like. Using the temporary upper complete denture 1 after the adjustment, the preparation is performed according to the following procedure.
(1) Softening process
The upper temporary denture base 13 of the temporary upper complete denture 1 is immersed in hot water of 40 to 50 ° C. or softened by being exposed to hot air.
(2) Intraoral alignment process When the temporary maxillary complete denture 1 is placed in the patient's oral cavity as shown in FIG. 7 in the softened state, it is kept around the mucosal surface 11a and the periphery of the maxillary marginal portion 12 as necessary. The shape material is attached with a release agent so as to be peelable in a later step. It is desirable to omit the use of the shape-retaining material above the mucosal surface 11a so that the finished denture polished surface 11b does not become thick. Then, while the upper denture base 13 is in a softened state, the mold of the upper denture base 13 is stabilized by pressing with a finger or the like.
In this step, the arrangement of the maxillary artificial teeth 15 is adjusted as necessary. Since the roots of the maxillary artificial teeth 15 are arranged in advance in the same order as the natural teeth in the maxillary artificial tooth planting portion 14, there is no need to do anything if it is not necessary. However, when changing the occlusion with the mandibular artificial tooth 25 of the mandibular complete denture 2, the inclination of the tooth, the embedding length, or the interval, the mandibular artificial tooth using a finger or an instrument as required at this stage Move 15 to adjust. In the stage where the lower complete denture 2 is not prepared, the occlusal adjustment of the upper and lower jaw artificial teeth cannot be performed. However, when the lower complete denture 2 remains as in the case where only the upper complete denture 1 is lost or broken, or when the upper complete denture is renewed while leaving the lower natural teeth intact, the original complete denture 2 or Since natural teeth exist, it is possible to adjust the occlusion of the upper and lower artificial teeth from an aesthetic point of view.
(3) Molding step As shown in FIG. 9, the upper flask 30 a and the lower flask 30 b having the internal space are packed with impression material 32 in the respective internal spaces of the flask 30 that can be opened and closed by a hinge 31 to smooth the surface. Apply a release agent in advance. Then, the surface of the impression material 32 of the lower flask 30b is pressed down with the polishing surface 11b of the temporary maxillary complete denture 1 down, and the polishing surface 11b, the upper jaw artificial tooth planting portion 14 and the upper jaw artificial tooth 15 are buried in the impression material 32. Then, the upper flask 30a filled with the impression material is rotated and covered with a hinge 31 and closed, and fixed with a fastening fixture 33 as shown in FIG. As a result, the mucosal surface 11a and the upper marginal edge 12 of the temporary maxillary complete denture 1 are embedded in the impression material 32 of the upper flask 30b, and the volume of the temporary maxillary complete denture 1 protrudes from the gap between the upper flask 30a and the lower flask 30b. Excess impression material 32 is removed and the internal impression material 32 is awaited to cure. As the impression material 32, a kneaded powder of alginic acid can be suitably used, but other materials such as a silicone impression material may be used.
(4) Extraction process When the impression material 32 is cured after a predetermined time has elapsed, the fastening fixture 33 is released, the upper flask 30a and the lower flask 30b are opened around the hinge 31, and the lower flask 30b is opened. The temporary upper complete denture 1 remaining on the surface is taken out from the cured impression material 32. In this removed state, as shown in FIG. 11, the surface G of the impression material 32 of the lower flask 30 b is engraved with the polished surface 11 b of the temporary maxillary complete denture 1, the maxillary artificial tooth planting portion 14, and the prototype G of the artificial tooth 15. Rarely, the surface portion of the impression material 32 of the upper flask 30a is engraved with a mucous membrane surface 11a, a maxillary marginal portion 12, a partial prototype G of the maxillary artificial tooth planting portion 14, and the like.
(5) Returning process Extracting the maxillary artificial tooth 15 from the maxillary artificial tooth planting portion 14 of the extracted temporary maxillary complete denture 1, and peeling off from the maxillary temporary denture base 13 when the shape-retaining material H is used. As shown in FIG. 12, each is returned to the prototype G of the impression material 32 in the cured state of the lower flask 30b and the prototype G of the upper flask 30a. Since the maxillary artificial tooth 15 is embedded in the maxillary artificial tooth planting portion 14 made of a wax member, it may be pulled out with a finger or easily by applying hot water or applying hot air to soften the wax. Can be removed. The role of the temporary upper complete denture 1 ends in this step.
(6) Transfer process After the upper artificial teeth 15 and the shape retaining material H when used are returned to the original G of the impression material 32 in the lower flask 30b as described above, as shown in FIG. The molding resin 34 is poured in a state in which the upper flask 30a, which is formed by denting and curing the original G of the mucosal surface 11a of the maxillary denture 1 and the marginal portion 12, is kept horizontal together with the lower flask 30b. After that, as shown in FIG. 14, the flask 30 is closed and the fastening member 33 waits until the molding resin 34 is polymerized and cured at room temperature. Excess molding resin 34 protruding from the flask 30 is excluded. As the molding resin, an instant polymerization resin is preferably used.
(7) Finishing process After opening the flask 30 after a predetermined time, as shown in FIG. 15, the cured molding resin body is removed from the upper and lower flasks 30a and 30b to adjust burrs and sharp points, and then the upper jaw The edge 22 is lined to obtain the final maxillary denture 101.

Next, the simple mandibular complete denture 102 is also prepared using the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 through substantially the same steps as described above. Hereinafter, similarly, description will be made based on FIGS. 4 to 6, 8, and 16 to 22. First, as a preparation, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 8, the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 is tried by fitting the mandibular marginal ridge b over the mandibular alveolar ridge b in the patient's oral cavity. At this time, an excess portion of the lower jaw marginal portion 22 is cut and adjusted with scissors or the like. Using the provisional mandibular complete denture 2 after the adjustment, it is prepared by the following procedure.
(1) Softening process
The mandibular temporary denture base 23 of the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 is softened by immersing it in hot water of 40 to 50 ° C. or exposing it to hot air.
(2) Intraoral alignment process When the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 is placed in the patient's oral cavity in the softened state, the shape-retaining material H can be peeled around the lower marginal edge portion 22 in a later step as necessary. A release agent is attached to the base material, and the mold of the mandibular temporary denture base 23 is stabilized by pressing with a finger while the mandibular temporary denture base 23 is in a softened state.
In this step, the arrangement of the mandibular artificial teeth 25 is adjusted as necessary. The roots of the mandibular artificial teeth 25 are arranged in advance in the same order as the natural teeth in the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24, so that it is not necessary to do anything if it is not necessary. However, if the simple maxillary complete denture 101 has been completed first, when changing the occlusion with the maxillary artificial tooth 15, the inclination of the teeth, the length of embedding or the interval between teeth, it is necessary to use a finger or the like at this stage. Accordingly, the mandibular artificial tooth 25 is moved and adjusted using an instrument. The outer shape of the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24 also varies depending on the preference. At the stage where the simple maxillary complete denture 101 is not prepared, the occlusal adjustment of the upper and lower artificial teeth with the upper artificial tooth 15 cannot be performed, but only the lower complete denture 2 is lost and destroyed and only the lower complete denture is renewed. Since there is a maxillary complete denture 1 or a natural tooth, it is possible to adjust the occlusion of the upper and lower artificial teeth from an aesthetic point of view.
(3) Molding process The upper flask 30a and the lower flask 30b having the internal space are filled with the impression material 32 in the respective internal spaces of the flask 30 that can be opened and closed by the hinge 31, and the surface is leveled, and the mold release material is applied in advance. From the surface of the impression material 32 in the lower flask 30b, as shown in FIG. 16, the mandibular artificial tooth 25, the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24, and a part of the mandibular marginal portion 22 of the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 are pushed in and embedded. As shown in FIG. 17, the upper flask 30a filled with the impression material is covered and closed so that the uncured impression material 32 enters the lower denture base 23 of the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 and then tightened. Fix with the fixture 33. As a result, the mandibular temporary denture base 23 of the mandibular marginal portion 22 of the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 is buried in the impression material 32 of the upper flask 30b. The excess impression material 32 that protrudes is removed, and the internal impression material 32 is awaited curing. As the impression material 32, a material prepared by kneading alginic acid powder as in the case of the upper complete denture 1 can be suitably used. Silicone impression materials and other materials may be used.
(4) Extraction process When the impression material 32 is hardened after a predetermined time has elapsed, the fastening fixture 33 is released, and the upper flask 30a and the lower flask 30b are opened around the hinge 31, The denture 2 is taken out from the lower flask 30b. In the removed state, as shown in FIG. 18, a concave prototype G of the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24 and the mandibular artificial tooth 25 of the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 is engraved on the surface portion of the impression material 32 of the lower classco 30b. In addition, the surface portion of the impression material 32 of the upper flask 30a is also engraved with the lower jaw marginal portion 22 and a concave prototype G of the shape-retaining material H used as necessary.
(5) Returning process The mandibular artificial tooth 25 is manually pulled out from the mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24 of the extracted temporary mandibular complete denture 2, and when the shape-retaining material H is used, it is peeled off from the mandibular temporary denture base 23. To do. Then, as shown in FIG. 19, the impression material 32 cured in the lower flask 30 b is returned to the corresponding concave original G. Since the base of the mandibular artificial tooth 25 is only buried in the soft mandibular artificial tooth planting portion 24 made of a wax member, it can be easily removed by applying hot water or softening the wax by applying hot air. The role of the temporary mandibular complete denture 2 ends in this step.
(6) Transfer step Next, as shown in FIG. 20, the molding resin 34 is poured in a state where the upper flask 30a and the lower flask 30b are kept horizontal, and the surface is leveled, and then closed as shown in FIG. Wait until the molding resin 34 is cured by the fastening member 33. Excess molding resin 34 protruding from the flask 30 is excluded. As the molding resin 34, an instant polymerization resin is preferably used.
(7) Finishing process After opening the flask 30 after a predetermined time, the cured resin body 34 is removed from the upper and lower flasks 30a, 30b and adjusted by cutting off burrs or sharp points, and then the lower jaw margin By lining the part 23, the final lower jaw complete denture 102 is obtained.

As described above, the simple maxillary complete denture 101 and the simple mandibular complete denture 102 can be produced. If these preparation times are performed by a dentist and an assistant who have an average number of years of experience, it can be performed in about 2 hours. Therefore, even when it is urgent, it can be made in time. In addition, most of the instruments and materials required for the preparation of this simple complete denture are completed in advance because they are used in normal medical practice in medical institutions that perform dental treatment such as dental clinics. If you have a temporary upper denture and a temporary lower complete denture, you can respond immediately. Furthermore, since a large amount of a predetermined size can be manufactured, it can be manufactured at low cost and can be stored for a long time because of its durability. In addition, since no special treatment technique is required, even an inexperienced dentist can easily perform treatment according to the production procedure manual. The completed simple maxillary and mandibular complete denture can sufficiently withstand use for about one month, which is a period required for producing a normal permanent complete denture.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention can suitably contribute to a medical device material manufacturing industry that manufactures temporary upper dentures and temporary lower complete dentures, and a dental medical service industry such as a dentist who manufactures simple complete dentures.
