Description

The present invention relates to a joining structure, a joining method, and a joining jig for joining both ends of a seam felt in which two rows of loops are formed in the thickness direction.

In order to improve workability when attaching a felt to a paper machine, so-called seam felts are widely used. It is popular. In this type of seam felt, the loops formed at the end in the length direction by folding back the warp constituting the base fabric are alternately meshed so that the loop holes are aligned with each other, and the core wire is formed in the common hole formed thereby. The structure which joins both ends through is common.

Since such seam felt joining is a precise manual operation, it is desirable to perform the operation while stabilizing the end of the felt. Moreover, in order to make it easy to visually confirm the meshing state of the loop and the insertion state of the core wire, it is desirable that the end portion of the felt is butted in a mountain shape. Therefore, a temporary joining cloth provided with a slide-type fastener is sewn to the end of the felt in advance, and when the felt has been drawn in, the fastener is applied to temporarily fix both ends of the felt, There is known a technique in which both ends are held in a state of butting in a mountain shape (Patent Document 1).

In a seam felt with loops formed in two rows above and below in the thickness direction, butt up the chevron so that both ends of the felt protrude upward, and then fold the loops on the lower row side, It is desirable that the upper row side loops are multiplied against each other so as to protrude toward the center. Here, after the loops on the lower row side are multiplied, if the loops on the upper row side are tried to be multiplied by the technique described in Patent Document 1, the upper portion of the loop on the upper row side is covered with a fastener. Both ends cannot be pushed downward from above, and it is difficult to align the loops at both ends. In addition, the upper part of the loop on the upper row is covered with a fastener, and the lower part is already multiplied by the loop on the lower row, so it is visually confirmed whether the loop is aligned from above and below the felt. Can not be confirmed.

In view of such a problem, an object of the present invention is to provide a seam felt joining structure capable of easily and reliably joining both ends of a seam felt in which loops are formed in two rows in the thickness direction.

Each of the pair of fastener members 30 includes a fabric portion 32 fixed to the lower side of the seam felt 2 and a fastener element portion 34 attached to the fabric portion 32. Also, a slider 36 for slidably attaching the pair of fastener element portions 34 to each other and releasing the engagement is attached to either one of the pair of fastener members 30.

The fabric portion 32 is made of a substantially rectangular fabric, and a fastener element portion 34 is attached to one of the long sides thereof. The fabric portion 32 is disposed below the seam felt 2 so that the fastener element portion 34 faces the end portion side of the seam felt 2 and is parallel to the end portion. The vicinity of the long side of the fabric portion 32 opposite to the side where the fastener element portion 34 is attached is sewn at a position of 12 cm to 20 cm from the end of the seam felt 2, and the seam is the end of the seam felt 2. Made parallel. The length of the long side of the fabric portion 32 is larger than the width of the seam felt 2, and both ends of the long side direction of the fabric portion 32 protrude from the side sides of the seam felt 2 in the width direction in a sewn state. The fastener element portion 34 is arranged at a position slightly displaced from the end of the seam felt 2, for example, about 1 cm to 3 cm.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the second joining jig 28 is slidably engaged with the pair of engaging members 38 fixed to the upper side of the seam felt 2 and the pair of engaging members 38. And a string 40 serving as an engaging means for holding the pair of engaging members 38 close to each other. Each of the pair of engagement members 38 includes an attachment piece 42 attached to the upper side of the seam felt 2 and a plurality of engagement pieces 46 attached to the attachment piece 42 so as to form an engagement hole 44.

The attachment piece 42 is made of a substantially rectangular or tape-shaped fabric, and a plurality of engagement pieces 46 are attached to one of the long sides thereof at substantially equal intervals, for example, 10 cm to 30 cm intervals. The attachment piece 42 is disposed on the upper side of the seam felt 2 such that the side on which the engagement piece 46 is attached faces the end portion side of the seam felt 2 and the long side thereof is substantially parallel to the end portion. The attachment piece 42 is sewn near the end of the seam felt 2. The attachment piece 42 is the same as the sewing position of the fabric portion 32 of the first joining jig 26 or the end portion of the seam felt 2 more than that so as not to hinder the laying operation by the first joining jig 26. It is preferable that the sewing machine is sewn at a position away from the sewing machine. For example, the sewing position is 12 cm to 25 cm from the end of the seam felt 2, and is parallel to the end of the seam felt 2. When the end of the seam felt 2 is meandering, the attachment piece 42 is sewn linearly along the direction in which the meandering end extends. The length of the long side of the mounting piece 42 is substantially equal to the width of the seam felt 2, and the mounting piece 42 is aligned so that the end of the long side direction of the mounting piece 42 is aligned with the side of the seam felt 2 in the width direction. Is sewn from the upper side of the seam felt 2.

The engagement piece 46 is made of a substantially rectangular or tape-shaped fabric, and both end portions thereof are fixed to the attachment piece 42 by sewing or the like, and an engagement hole 44 that functions as an engagement portion through which the string 40 passes is formed. ing. The engagement piece 46 may be formed of resin or metal. In this case, the engagement hole 44 may be deformed into a hook shape. In addition, instead of the engagement hole 44 formed by the engagement piece 46, the attachment piece 42 may be provided with a plurality of through holes 48, and the string 40 may be engaged. You may reinforce with the member which consists of resin or a metal (refer FIG. 9).

Next, the joining procedure of the seam felt 2 will be described with reference to FIGS. 5 to 8 are schematic diagrams, and the batt fiber layer 6 and the like are omitted.

Before shipping, the pair of fastener members 30 of the first joining jig 26 and the pair of engaging members 38 of the second joining jig 28 are sewn to both ends of the seam felt 2. At the site where both ends of the seam felt 2 are joined, first, the seam felt 2 is pulled into the travel path of the papermaking machine, and both ends of the seam felt 2 are connected to the pair of engaging members 38 of the second joining jig 28. Adjacently face each other with the attached side facing up.

Next, in the first joining jig 26, the slider 36 is slid in a state of being engaged with the two fastener element portions 34, and the fastener element portions 34 are engaged with each other. Since the first joining jig 26 is fastened in the vicinity of both ends of the seam felt 2, the vicinity of both ends of the seam felt 2 can be held close to each other so that both ends of the seam felt 2 are brought together. The length from the position where the pair of fastener members 30 of the first joining jig 26 is sewn to the fastener element 34 is the end from the position where the first joining jig 26 of the seam felt 2 is sewn. Therefore, the vicinity of both end portions of the seam felt 2 forms a mountain shape in a direction away from the first joining jig 26, that is, upward. Therefore, both end surfaces of the seam felt 2 are abutted on the lower side in the thickness direction, and the lower first loop rows 14 formed at both ends mesh with each other, and the upper side in the thickness direction is slightly separated from each other. doing. At this time, the upper second loop rows 20 are slightly separated from each other in the length direction. Therefore, whether or not each of the plurality of first loops 10 in the first loop row 14 is correctly arranged so that the first loop holes 12 are aligned is visually confirmed not only from the width direction but also from above. it can. If there is the first loop 10 that is not correctly arranged, the first loop hole 12 is arranged at a correct position where the first loop hole 12 is aligned by hand or the like. Next, the first core wire 22 is passed through the aligned first loop hole 12 (FIG. 5). The first core wire 22 may be passed through while engaging the first loop 10.

Thereafter, the slider 36 is slid in the reverse direction to release the engagement of the fastener element portion 34. The vicinity of both end portions of the seam felt 2 is made substantially flat (FIG. 6). As shown in FIG. 7, when the fastening of the first joining jig 26 is released, tension is applied to the seam felt 2 in a direction in which both ends thereof are separated (direction of a double-headed arrow in FIG. 7). Since the first core wires 22 are passed through the first loop holes 12 between the first loop rows 14 at both ends, the meshing is maintained. On the other hand, the engagement between the second loop rows 20 at both ends becomes shallow, and the portion where the second loop holes 18 are aligned becomes narrow. Accordingly, since it is difficult to pass the second core wire 24 through the second loop hole 18 in this state, it is necessary to bring the second loop rows 20 at both ends into deep engagement.

Therefore, according to the following procedure, the second joining jig 28 is used to bring the second loop rows at both ends together. The string 40 is tied to the first engagement hole 44 on one end side of the pair of engagement members 38. Thereafter, the string 40 is alternately arranged in the engagement holes 44 of the pair of engagement members 38 and sequentially from one end side to the other end side in the width direction so that the string 40 is arranged in a staggered manner. Go through. Next, the string 40 and the engagement hole 44 are slid to each other so that the space between the pair of engagement members 38 is gradually narrowed from the side where the string 40 is connected, and the pair of engagement members 38 are brought closer to each other. At this time, both end portions of the seam felt 2 which are faced to each other cannot move upward but move downward because the string 40 exists. Therefore, the vicinity of both end portions of the seam felt 2 forms a mountain shape downward. Therefore, both end surfaces of the seam felt 2 are in a state in which the upper side is abutted. Therefore, the second loop row 20 on the upper side in the thickness direction formed at both ends overlaps each other, and the first core wire 22 is also passed through the first loop hole 12 in the first loop row 14 on the lower side in the thickness direction. Therefore, they are kept in an overlapping state. Whether or not each of the plurality of second loops 16 in the second loop row 20 is correctly arranged so that the second loop holes 18 are aligned is determined from the lower side by fastening the first joining jig 26. Although the first loop row 14 is overlapped even if it is released, it cannot be visually confirmed, but it can be seen from the width direction, and also from above, through the space 50 between the strings 40 arranged in a staggered manner. It can be confirmed visually. In particular, since it can be visually confirmed from above, it can be clearly seen which second loop 16 is not correctly arranged. If there is a second loop 16 that is not correctly arranged, the relevant part is pushed by hand or the like through the space 50 between the strings 40 arranged in a staggered manner, or pushed up from the open lower side if possible. The second loop hole 18 is disposed at a correct position where it is aligned. Next, the second core wire 24 is passed through the aligned second loop hole 18 (FIG. 8).

Thereafter, the string 40 is loosened so that the vicinity of both ends of the seam felt 2 is in a substantially flat state. Further, the pair of fastener members 30 and the pair of engaging members 38 are sewn to the seam felt 2, and the first joining jig 26 and the second joining jig 28 are removed from the seam felt 2.

Although the description of the specific embodiment is finished as described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment and can be widely modified. For example, the loop holes may be aligned using the second joining jig on both the lower side and the upper side of the seam felt. Moreover, you may change suitably the method of hooking the string of 2nd joining jig, and arrangement | positioning of an engagement hole. For example, the string is arranged so that the string is parallel to the length direction between the pair of engaging members (the string follows a U-shaped repetitive pattern and a left-right inverted U-shaped repeating pattern, or each of the plurality of strings is a pair. May be arranged so that parallel and oblique are repeated (arrangement in which the string follows a Z-shaped repetitive pattern). Further, when the second joining jig is fastened to the seam felt, a space 50 opened in the thickness direction (vertical direction) is formed between the pair of engaging members, and the second loop is visually observed from the space 50. Any shape can be used as long as the seam felt can be pushed in by hand or the like to align the second loop hole. For example, instead of a string, a rod and a slider that can be selectively fixed to the rod are used, one end of the rod is fixed to one of the pair of engaging members, and the slider is fixed to the other of the pair of engaging members. Also good. The order of sewing and removing the first joining jig and the second joining jig from the seam felt can be appropriately changed. For example, the first joining jig may be removed after passing the first core wire through the first loop hole and before butting the upper sides of both ends of the seam felt with the second joining jig (see FIG. 4), the second joining jig may be sewn after the first core wire is passed through the first loop hole by the first joining jig. Further, the release of the fastening in the vicinity of both end portions of the seam felt by the first joining jig and the second joining jig is not performed by releasing the engagement of the fastener or loosening the string, and the first joining jig and the second joining jig. Alternatively, the two joining jigs may be sewn to the seam felt. Moreover, although the both ends of the seam felt of this embodiment are orthogonal to the length direction, you may incline both ends with respect to the length direction.
