In the first and second embodiments, a starry sky interval movie in which a still image is shot by long-second exposure (long-second shooting) will be described as an example to which the present invention can be applied. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and long-second exposure is performed. The shooting may not be performed.
[Example 1]
The starry sky interval moving image according to the first embodiment will be described with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4 (a) and 4 (b). In the starry sky interval moving image, still image shooting is performed a plurality of times by one shooting instruction, and a moving image is generated (moving image creation) from the still image and recorded. FIG. 3 shows the processing of the starry sky interval moving image in the present embodiment.
This process is realized by developing a program recorded in the
In step S <b> 301, the

In S303, the
In S304, the
In S305, the
In step S306, the
In S307, the
In S308, the

In S310, the
In S <b> 311, the
In S <b> 312, the
In S313, the
In S314, the
In S315, the
In S316, the
In S317, the
In S318, the
In S319, the
In S320, the
In step S <b> 321, the
After the power saving mode is started, the state of the power saving mode of S321 is maintained until the shooting interval T1 elapses from S314 or until the moving image button is pressed. However, the power saving mode is ended by the user's operation to the
In the power saving mode, the power saving mode may be terminated when a predetermined time has elapsed after the power saving mode is started, and the image before the power saving mode is started may be displayed again on the
S322 to S323 are the second and subsequent shooting, and are the same processes as the processes of S314 to S315 that are the first time.
In S324, the
In S325, the
In step S326, the
In S <b> 327, the
FIG. 4A shows a display example of the intermediate progress review display. The
FIG. 4B shows another display example of the intermediate progress review display. As described above, the composite image 420 (still image) obtained by relatively brightly combining the first still image and the latest still image may be displayed on the
As another display example of the mid-course review, there is a simple moving image including at least the first image and the latest still image (not including all images taken in a series of shooting). For example, create and display a simple video that includes multiple discontinuous still images, such as the first still image from the first image and the odd or even images from the first image to the latest still image. Thus, it can be seen how the subject included in the interval movie changes. Therefore, by confirming the state of change included in the interval moving image, it is possible to easily determine whether or not to give an instruction to end shooting. Further, the number of still images included in the simple moving image may be increased as the number of shootings is increased, for example, the odd number or even number. Also, for example, no matter how many photos are taken, a predetermined number of pictures can be converted into simple videos, such as only three photos, the first photo and the latest still image, and still images obtained by shooting between the first photo and the latest photo. It may be included.
In addition, as another display example of the midway progress review, a plurality of still images including at least the first image and the latest still image (not including all images taken in a series of shooting) are automatically switched one by one. May be displayed.

In S330, the

After the power saving mode is started, the state of the power saving mode of S331 remains until the shooting interval T1 elapses from S322 or until the moving image button is pressed. However, the power saving mode is ended by the user's operation to the
In S332, the
In S333, the
In S334, the
In S335, the

As described above, according to the processing described above, by displaying based on the first still image and the latest still image during the shooting of the interval video, the user can change the subject such as the color and the arrangement relationship of the subject from the start of the shooting. You can easily compare how much you have. As a result, the user can grasp not only the information such as the shooting time and the number of images but also the position, color and arrangement relationship of the subject from the still image at the start of shooting, and compare it with the latest still image, It becomes easier to grasp the state of the change and determine whether to continue or end the shooting. Further, when comparative bright combination is performed, it is possible to easily confirm changes such as the position and color of the first bright subject and the bright subject of the latest still image. In addition, when the setting for saving the material is performed, a still image can be recorded simultaneously with the creation of the moving image file.
That is, in this embodiment, after the third shooting, the image obtained by the first shooting and the image obtained by the latest third shooting are displayed on the
In addition, although the example of performing comparative bright composition or comparative dark composition of the first still image and the latest still image was explained, it is also effective to perform comparative bright composition or comparative dark composition from the first image to the latest still image. It is. By synthesizing in this way, the user can know the movement of the subject in the moving image from the locus of the bright (or dark) subject.
Furthermore, in the present embodiment, an example in which the same subject is photographed from the same position is shown, but the photographing position may be changed at predetermined intervals. When changing the shooting position in the middle of a series of shooting, it is possible to compare the subject shot from the position of the first shooting with the subject shot from the position of the latest shooting. Therefore, even when the shooting position is changed during a series of shootings, it is determined whether or not to continue shooting by knowing how much the subject has changed during the interval movie. be able to.
In this embodiment, the initial value of the time interval is 1 minute, but the present invention is not limited to this, and may be a value of 3 minutes, 2 hours, or 1 day.
In the present embodiment, the case where the basic image is the first still image has been described, but a predetermined number of still images such as the second and third images are not used as the basic image. Also good.
In the present embodiment, the display based on the two still images of the latest still image and the first still image after the latest shooting has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to this. Specifically, by displaying at least the first still image without displaying both the first image and the latest still image, the user can determine what kind of subject is in the shooting range of the first image. You can compare with the current subject.
[Example 2]
Next, Embodiment 2 will be described with reference to FIG. The second embodiment is the same as the first embodiment except for the flowchart of FIG. In the first embodiment, the first still image is used as a basic image for comparison with the latest image. In the second embodiment, a still image taken when a user's desired change occurs is used as a basic image. . This process is realized by developing a program recorded in the
S501 to S515 are the same processes as S301 to S315 in FIG.
S516 is the same processing as S317 of FIG.
In step S517, the
In S518, the
In step S519, the
FIG. 4C shows an example of setting the change condition and an example when there is a change. A case where the
In the example shown in FIG. 4C, by setting a
In S520, the
S521 to S523 are the same processes as S319 to S321 of FIG.
In S524, the
In S525, the
In S526, the
S527 to S529 are the same processes as S522 to S524.
S530 to S544 are the same processes as S322 to S336 in FIG. Note that the intermediate progress review display displayed in S535 displays the basic image recorded in the
According to the processing described above, by comparing the basic image with the latest still image during interval movie shooting, the color of the shooting range, the relationship of the subject, etc. from when the desired change in the subject occurs It is possible to easily compare how much changes have occurred. This makes it easier for the user to determine whether to continue or end shooting not only based on information such as the shooting time and the number of images, but also based on how the subject changes.
In the second embodiment, it has been described that the change condition is that a change occurs in a range set in advance by the user in the shooting range. However, the change condition may be the number of change points that occur in the shooting range. . In this case, the number of change points is set in S519, and the latest still image determined to have changed portions (change points) by the set number compared to the first image in S520 is defined as the basic image. You just have to do it. Also, the basic image may be set to a desired still image by the user. In this case, whether the captured still image is set as the basic image in S520 without performing the processing of S519 and S521 to S524. What is necessary is just to accept selection of no.
In each of the above-described embodiments, the user may be able to set whether or not to perform an intermediate progress review. If it is set not to perform an intermediate progress review, the still image taken immediately before is set. Only is displayed on the
In this embodiment, the total shooting time and the shooting interval are set. However, the total shooting number and the shooting interval may be set, and the total shooting number and the total shooting time are not limited. Good. The progress review may not be displayed every time after shooting. For example, after taking a still image taken within the total shooting time after taking the next still image of the basic image, or taking a still image from the next still image of the basic image to the total number of shots It may be after any shooting such as after the odd-numbered shooting. By setting in this way, further power saving becomes possible.
Although an example in which the basic image and the latest still image are displayed on the
