Description

The present invention relates to a clamp for an electrofusion joint used for connecting a resin pipe made of a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene.

Conventionally, thermoplastic resin pipes made of polyethylene or the like are widely used for gas pipes, water pipes, drain pipes and the like because they have earthquake resistance, flexibility, and corrosion resistance. When connecting such resin pipes, an electric fusion joint (EF joint) is frequently used. Specifically, the electric fusion joint includes a joint body made of a thermoplastic resin, a heating element such as a heating wire embedded in a fusion interface on the inner peripheral side of the joint body, and a joint connected to the heating element. And a terminal portion having terminal pins erected on the outer surface of the main body. Then, in a state where the resin pipes to be connected are respectively inserted into both receptacles of the joint body of the electric fusion joint, the heating element is energized through the power cord connected to the terminal pin to thereby generate heat in the receptacle around the heating element. The resin on the inner peripheral surface and the outer surface layer of each resin tube are melted to connect the electrofusion joint and both resin tubes to form an integral conduit.

By the way, in the connection method using an electric fusion joint, the energized resin is surely cooled and solidified after starting energization so that uniform fusion is performed on the entire peripheral surface of the connection portion, and a constant fusion is achieved. Until the strength is generated, it is necessary to position and fix firmly against thermal stress and thermal deformation so that the axes of each other do not shift. Then, what fixes between the edge part of each receiving port of a coupling main body, and the outer peripheral surface of a resin pipe using a clamp is known (for example, refer patent document 1).

In Patent Document 1, one end portions of a pair of holding portions formed with a substantially semicircular inner peripheral surface having an inner diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the resin tube are pivotally supported so as to be freely opened and closed, and between the other end portions thereof. A metal clamp that is fastened via a fastener such as a bolt or a hook is disclosed.

However, the conventional clamp for fixing the joint body and the resin pipe has the following problems.
That is, the clamp described in Patent Document 1 is made of a metal member provided with a fastener such as a hook, and the member cost is high. Therefore, after fixing each receiving port of the joint body and the resin pipe by fusion, the clamp cannot be embedded in the ground as it is together with the resin pipe, and it is necessary to perform the work of removing the clamp. In other words, in this conventional clamp, the joint body and the resin tube need to be fastened using bolts, nuts, and hooks, and the work for attaching and detaching the clamp becomes complicated, and the work requires a lot of time. There was a problem.
In addition, a fastening tool such as a screwdriver is used in the fastening work with bolts and nuts, and it is difficult to assemble in a narrow space.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems, and can be easily attached to a joint body and a resin pipe even in a narrow space with a simple structure, and can be used for an electric fusion joint that can improve work efficiency. The object is to provide a clamp.

In order to achieve the above object, the clamp for an electrofusion joint according to the present invention is used at the time of electrofusion welding of a resin pipe, and is made of resin-made electric that temporarily fixes the joint body and the resin pipe during energization and curing time. A clamp for a fusion joint, comprising: a half holding portion that clamps a connecting portion between the joint main body and the resin pipe from the outside in the radial direction, and a male joint is provided on a joint surface of one of the half holding portions Provided, a female joint into which the male joint is inserted is provided on the joint surface of the other half holding section, and the half holding sections are in a state where the male joint is inserted into the female joint. Joined in a state of sandwiching the connecting portion, the halved holding portion is provided with the male joint on one male side joint surface in the circumferential direction and the female joint on the other female side joint surface. It is characterized by that.

In the present invention, the resin pipes are respectively inserted into both receiving ports of the joint main body of the electric fusion joint, and thereafter, the connection portion between the joint main body and the resin pipe is sandwiched from the outside by the pair of half holding portions of the clamp. At this time, the male joint and the female joint provided on both joint surfaces are engaged with each other, and the inner peripheral surfaces of the half holding portions are respectively brought into close contact with the outer peripheral surface of the joint main body and the outer peripheral surface of the resin pipe, By joining the parts, the joint body and the resin tube are firmly positioned and fixed against thermal stress and thermal deformation so that the shaft core is not displaced. Thereafter, the electric heating element on the inner peripheral side of the receiving port of the joint body can be heated, and the inner peripheral surface of the receiving port can be thermally fused to the outer peripheral surface of the corresponding resin tube.

Thus, in the clamp for electric fusion joint of the present invention, it is a simple structure that can be attached with a single touch such as fitting the male joint of the half-holding part into the female joint, and complicated mounting and dismounting work such as bolt fastening is not required. The working time can be shortened and the working efficiency can be improved.
In addition, since a tool such as bolt fastening is not required, it can be easily attached to the joint body and the resin pipe even in a narrow space.
Further, in this case, since the pair of halved holding portions combined with each other have the same shape, it can be formed with one type of mold, and the cost can be reduced.

In addition, since the clamp for the electric fusion joint of the present invention is made of resin, the member cost can be reduced, and the clamp with the male joint attached to the female joint is removed even after the electric fusion is completed. Can be left as it is, for example, can be buried in the ground. Therefore, it is not necessary to remove the clamp after the electric fusion, and work efficiency can be improved.

In the clamp for an electrofusion joint according to the present invention, it is preferable that movement of the male joint in the pull-out direction is restricted in a state where the male joint is fitted into the female joint.

In this case, the male joint inserted into the female joint is prevented from being pulled out, so that it is possible to prevent the joined state between the half holding portions from being loosened or detached. Therefore, fixing of the joint portion between the joint body and the resin pipe by the electrofusion joint clamp of the present invention is stable, and the connection can be performed with high accuracy.

Moreover, in the clamp for an electric fusion joint according to the present invention, it is preferable that the halved holding portion is coupled by a hinge so as to be opened and closed .

According to the clamp for electrical fusion joint of the present invention, it can be easily attached to the joint body and the resin pipe with a simple structure that can be connected with a single touch, eliminating the need for complicated attaching and detaching operations such as bolt fastening. There is an effect that it can be realized.
In addition, since a tool such as bolt fastening is not necessary, the mounting operation can be easily performed even in a narrow space.

Hereinafter, a clamp for an electric fusion joint according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.

(First embodiment)
As shown in FIG. 1, the electrofusion joint clamp (hereinafter referred to as “clamp 1”) of the present embodiment is used at the time of electrofusion welding of a resin pipe, and the joint body 21 and the resin pipe during energization and curing time. 3 is temporarily fixed.

As shown in FIG. 1, the electric fusion joint 2 includes a joint body 21 made of a thermoplastic resin, and a heating element such as a heating wire embedded in a fusion interface on the inner peripheral side of the joint body 21 (not shown). And a terminal portion 23 having a terminal pin 23a connected to the heating element and standing on the outer surface of the joint body 21.

The joint body 21 has a substantially cylindrical shape, and is obtained, for example, by injection molding a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene. The joint body 21 includes receiving ports at both ends in the axial direction O.
The resin pipes 3 and 3 to be connected are respectively inserted into the receptacles at both ends of the joint body 21. The resin pipe 3 is formed of a thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene as in the joint body 21. The two resin pipes 3 and 3 to be connected face each other inside the joint body 21 in a state where the two resin pipes 3 and 3 are fitted into the corresponding receiving ports of the joint body 21. In the electric fusion joint 2, when the current is supplied through a power cord (not shown) connected to the terminal pin 23 a, the above-described heating element generates heat, and the resin of the joint body 21 around the heating element and the resin tubes 3. The outer surface layer is in a molten state, and the electrofusion joint 2 and the resin pipes 3 and 3 are fused. Since the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 are fused together as a result of the connection of the resin pipe 3 by such an electric fusion joint 2, an integral pipe line can be formed with resin and high reliability is ensured. be able to.

The clamp 1 temporarily fixes the joint main body 21 of the electric fusion joint 2 and the resin pipe 3 inserted into each receiving port of the joint main body 21 separately, and is used in a state of being fixed even after the electric fusion. The
As a material of the clamp 1, for example, an inexpensive resin such as recycled general-purpose resin, vinyl chloride, ABS resin, or polypropylene can be used.

The clamp 1 has a substantially rectangular shape with chamfered corners when viewed from the front, and includes halved holding portions 1A and 1B that clamp the joint body 21 and the resin tube 3 from the outside in the radial direction. In the present embodiment, the pair of halved holding portions 1A and 1B have the same configuration.

As shown in FIGS. 2 to 5, each of the half-holding portions 1 </ b> A and 1 </ b> B includes a joint holding portion 14 in which a substantially half-circumferential inner peripheral surface having an inner diameter corresponding to the outer diameter on both ends of the joint body 21 is formed, A tube holding portion 15 in which a plurality of substantially semicircular engaging protrusions 15 a having an inner diameter corresponding to the outer diameter of the resin tube 3 are arranged along the axial direction O is integrally formed.
In each of the half holding portions 1A and 1B, a through hole 14a having an inner diameter capable of accommodating the terminal portion 23 is formed in the joint holding portion 14 corresponding to one terminal portion 23 of the joint main body 21 shown in FIG. At the same time, an operation check hole 10 having an oval cross section that penetrates the joint holding part 14 and the pipe holding part 15 in the radial direction is formed to be spaced apart from the through hole 14a. ing.

Further, the half holding portion 1A is provided with two projecting pins 12 (male joints) on one male side joining surface 1a in the circumferential direction, and each projecting pin 12 is fitted on the other female side joining surface 1b. A possible female joint 13 is provided. By fitting the protruding pin 12 into the female joint 13, the joint surfaces of the half-holding portions 1 </ b> A and 1 </ b> B are made to face each other, and the connecting portion between the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 is sandwiched, so Are joined. In addition, the half holding | maintenance parts 1A and 1B are mutually spaced apart in the state which clamped the coupling main body 21 and the resin pipe 3. As shown in FIG.

The projecting pins 12 are projections projecting in the orthogonal direction from the male-side joint surface 1 a, and are provided at intervals along the axial direction O. The axial length of the projecting pin 12 is set so that it can be fitted into a fitting hole 13A (described later) of the female joint 13 in a joined state in which the joint body 21 and the resin tube 3 are sandwiched between the half holding portions 1A and 1B. ing. As the material of the protruding pin 12, for example, the same material as that of the clamp 1, aluminum, iron, or stainless steel can be adopted.

As shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the female joint 13 includes an insertion hole 13A having an axis in a direction orthogonal to the female side joint surface 1b, and the female side joint surface 1b side of the fit hole 13A. And a push nut 13 </ b> B provided in the opening.
The insertion hole 13A has a larger diameter than the shaft diameter dimension d1 of the protruding pin 12, and penetrates the half holding portions 1A and 1B.

The push nut 13B has a passage hole 13a having a smaller diameter (inner diameter dimension d2) than the shaft diameter dimension d1 of the projecting pin 12, and a plurality of notches 13b are formed from the passage hole 13a in the radial direction. The protrusion pin 12 is inserted into the insertion hole 13A and press-fitted into the push nut 13B, so that movement in the direction of removal (arrow Y direction) is restricted. As the material of the push nut 13B, for example, the same material as the protruding pin 12 is adopted.

As shown in FIG. 1, the joint body 21 of the electrofusion joint 2 is provided with an indicator 24 formed by forming a recess having a pin 24a at the center position in a radial direction at a position corresponding to the heating element. During the fusing operation, the resin in the depression flows in the direction of the outer peripheral surface due to the expansion pressure of the molten resin, so that the pins 24 a protrude from the outer peripheral surface of the joint body 21. It is possible to determine whether the proper fusion has been completed, and consequently whether or not the resin pipe 3 has been fused to the joint body 21 can be determined by the protruding amount of the pin 24a.

Therefore, the length in the axial direction O of each of the halved holding portions 1A and 1B is such that when the fitting body 21 and the resin pipe 3 inserted into one receiving port of the fitting body 21 are mounted over the electrofusion joint 2 It is set so as not to interfere with the indicator 24 provided in.

Next, a method of connecting the joint main body 21 and the resin pipe 3 using the clamp for electric fusion joint (clamp 1) described above and the operation and effect of the clamp 1 will be described with reference to the drawings.

As shown in FIG. 1, when two resin pipes 3, 3 are connected by the electric fusion joint 2, the resin pipes 3, 3 to be connected are inserted into both receiving ports of the joint body 21, respectively, The both sides of the main body 21 in the axial direction O are held and fixed by the clamps 1 (1A, 1B). Specifically, in each clamp 1, the connection portion between the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 is sandwiched from the outside by the pair of half-holding portions 1 </ b> A and 1 </ b> B of the clamp 1. That is, the through hole 14a formed in one half holding portion 1A is inserted into one terminal portion 23 of the joint body 21, and the inner peripheral surface of the joint holding portion 14 and the engagement protrusion 15a ( 2 and 3) are placed on the outer peripheral surface of the joint body 21 and the outer peripheral surface of the resin tube 3, respectively.
At the same time, the joint surface of the other half-holding portion 1B is brought close to one half-holding portion 1A, and the inner peripheral surfaces of the joint holding portion 14 and the tube holding portion 15 are first set to the other half-halved portion. The holding part 1 </ b> A is placed on and covered with the outer peripheral surface of the joint main body 21 and the outer peripheral surface of the joint main body 21 on the side facing the outer peripheral surface of the resin tube 3 and the outer peripheral surface of the resin tube 3.

At this time, the protruding pins 12 of the half-holding portions 1A and 1B are press-fitted into the push nut 13B while being inserted into the fitting holes 13A, and the half-holding portions 1A and 1B are connected to each other. The resin tube 3 is firmly positioned and fixed against thermal stress and thermal deformation so that the axis does not deviate.

Here, as shown in FIGS. 6A and 6B, the inner diameter dimension d2 of the female push nut 13B formed on the female side joint surface 1b of each of the half holding portions 1A and 1B is the male side joint. Since it is formed smaller than the shaft diameter dimension d1 of the protruding pin 12 provided on the surface 1a, the movement of the protruding pin 12 press-fitted by the push nut 13B in the pull-out direction (arrow Y direction) is restricted and cannot be pulled out. It is concluded in a state. As described above, when the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 are fused, the resin pipe 3 can be fixed to the joint body 21 by separately mounting the clamps 1 on both receiving ports of the joint body 21.
The insertion state of the resin pipe 3 with respect to the joint body 21 can be grasped through the work confirmation hole 10.

And after each resin tube 3 inserted in each receptacle of joint body 21 is supported and fixed by clamp 1, heating element 22 generates heat by connecting the power cord to terminal pin 23 a and energizing it, The resin on the inner peripheral surface of the surrounding joint body 21 and the outer surface layer of each resin tube 3 are in a molten state, and the joint body 21 and both resin tubes 3 and 3 are heat-sealed.

The quality of the fusion work at this time can be grasped by the indicator 24. Specifically, if the resin is melted, the expansion pressure of the molten resin acts on a recess that is weak in strength, the resin in the recess flows in the direction of the outer peripheral surface, and the pin 24a protrudes from the outer peripheral surface of the joint body 21. Thus, whether or not the resin pipe 3 is fused to the joint body 21 can be determined.

Thus, in this embodiment, it is a simple structure that can be attached with a single touch such that the protruding pin 12 of the half-holding portion 1A is fitted into the push nut 13B. Can be shortened, and work efficiency can be improved.
In addition, since a tool such as bolt fastening is not required, it can be easily attached to the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 even in a narrow space.

In the case of the present embodiment, the clamp 1 can be left as it is attached to the resin pipe without being removed even after completion of the electric fusion, for example, can be buried in the ground. Therefore, it is not necessary to remove the clamp 1 after the electric fusion, and work efficiency can be improved.

Further, in the present embodiment, since the protruding pin 12 fitted into the female joint 13 is press-fitted by the push nut 13B and is prevented from being pulled out, the halved holding portions 1A and 1B are joined to each other. Can be prevented from loosening or coming off. Therefore, fixing of the connecting portion of the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 by the clamp 1 is stable, and the connection can be performed with high accuracy.

Further, in the halved holding portions 1A and 1B of the clamp 1 of the present embodiment, a protruding pin 12 is provided on one male side joining surface 1a in the circumferential direction, and a female joint 13 is provided on the other female side joining surface 1b. The pair of half-holding portions 1A and 1B that are provided and have the same shape can be molded with one type of mold, and the cost can be reduced.

As described above, the electrofusion joint clamp according to the present embodiment can be easily attached to the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 with a simple structure that can be connected with one touch, and complicated attachment and detachment work such as bolt fastening is possible. There is an effect that it becomes unnecessary and the work efficiency can be improved.
In addition, since a tool such as bolt fastening is not necessary, the mounting operation can be easily performed even in a narrow space.

(Second Embodiment)
Next, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8, the configuration of the clamp 1 (clamp for electrofusion joint) according to the second embodiment will be described.
In the clamp 1 according to the second embodiment, in each of the half-holding portions 1A and 1B, an annular protrusion 12b extending around the axis on the peripheral surface on the distal end side of the pin shaft portion 12a extends along the axial direction. A plurality of projecting pins 12A (male joints), an insertion hole 13C in which a plurality of annular engaging teeth 13c extending along the entire circumference of the hole surface along the hole axis direction are formed (female joints) ).

The protruding pin 12A has a shaft diameter dimension slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the insertion hole 13C. The protruding height of the protrusion 12b of the protruding pin 12A is formed with an inclined surface that gradually increases from the tip toward the male joint surface 1a in the pin axis direction, and the surface facing the male joint surface 1a is the diameter of the pin shaft. It is a flat surface extending along the direction.
Therefore, when the protrusion 12b is inserted into the insertion hole 13C, the protrusion 12b is allowed to move in the insertion direction with respect to the engagement tooth 13c, and is pulled out by being locked to the engagement tooth 13c ( Restrict movement in the direction opposite to the insertion direction.

In the second embodiment, similarly to the first embodiment described above, it can be easily attached to the joint body and the resin pipe with a simple structure that can be connected with one touch, and complicated attachment and detachment such as bolt fastening. There is an effect that work is not required and work efficiency can be improved.
In addition, in this case, the protruding pin 12A having the protrusion 12b has a structure that is difficult to be removed from the fitting hole 13C, and the protruding pin 12A fitted into the fitting hole 13C is prevented from being pulled out by the protruding line 12b. It is possible to prevent the split holding portions 1A and 1B from being loosened or detached. Therefore, fixation of the connection part of the joint main body 21 and the resin pipe 3 (refer FIG. 1) by the clamp 1 is stabilized, and it can connect with high precision.

Next, a modification of the clamp 1 according to the second embodiment described above will be described with reference to the drawings. 9 to 11 are obtained by changing the shapes of the male joint and the female joint of the half-holding portions 1A and 1B.

(First modification)
The half holding portions 1A and 1B according to the first modification shown in FIG. 9 have a protruding pin 12B in which a locking protrusion 12c is formed at a protruding tip at a part in the circumferential direction around the pin axis. The protrusion height of the locking protrusion 12c is an inclined surface that gradually increases in the pin axis direction from the tip toward the male joint surface 1a, and the surface facing the male joint surface 1a is along the radial direction of the pin shaft. It is a flat surface that extends. The engagement teeth 13c of the insertion holes 13C are provided only in a part of the circumferential direction that is engaged with the engagement protrusion 12c.

(Second modification)
Further, in the protruding pin 12C of the male joint according to the second modification shown in FIG. 10, the locking projection 12c of the first modification described above is provided around the entire pin axis, and the pin shaft portion 12a extends along the pin axis. The slit 12d is formed. 13 C of fitting holes which make | form a female joint are formed with the engagement tooth 13c similar to 2nd Embodiment.

In this case, the protruding pin 12C can be elastically deformed in a direction in which the pin shaft portion 12a divided in half by the slit 12d is reduced in diameter by the gap of the slit 12d. Therefore, the protruding pin 12C can be fitted into the fitting hole 13C while being reduced in diameter when getting over the locking projection 12c, and the operation at the time of insertion becomes easy. Further, after the protruding pin 12C is fitted, the elastic deformation is restored to the original state, and the locking projection 12c is locked to the engaging tooth 13c, so that the protruding pin 12C fitted into the fitting hole 13C is prevented from coming off.

(Third Modification)
The protruding pins 12D of the half-holding portions 1A and 1B according to the third modification shown in FIG. 11 have a pin 12b similar to the second embodiment and a locking protrusion 12c similar to the first modification. It is provided in a part of the circumferential direction around the pin axis of the portion 12a and has a fitting hole 13C in which engaging teeth 13c similar to the first modification are formed.

(Third embodiment)
Next, a clamp 1 according to a third embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.
The clamp 1 shown in FIGS. 12 and 13 has a protruding pin 12A having a protrusion 12b similar to that of the second embodiment described above provided on the male-side joint surface 1a, and an insertion hole 13C having an engaging tooth 13c. The joining structure provided on the female-side joining surface 1b is provided only on the joining surface at one end in the circumferential direction of the halved holding portions 1A and 1B. The other ends in the circumferential direction of the half-holding portions 1 </ b> A and 1 </ b> B are coupled by a hinge 16 so as to be opened and closed.
As the hinge structure, as shown in FIGS. 12 and 13, a flexible sheet-like structure that is integrally formed and bonded to each of the half-holding portions 1A and 1B, or the half-holding portion 1A, The structure engaged so that it might move with the engaging part provided in each 1B may be sufficient.
In this case, since the joining structure by the protruding pin 12A and the insertion hole 13C is provided only at one end portion in the circumferential direction of the half holding portions 1A and 1B, the member cost can be further reduced.

As mentioned above, although the embodiment of the clamp for an electrofusion joint according to the present invention has been described, the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiment, and can be appropriately changed without departing from the scope of the present invention.

For example, in the above-described embodiment, the male joints (protrusion pins 12, 12A to 12D) of the half-holding portions 1A and 1B are provided so as not to be pulled out in a state of being fitted into the female joint 13 or the fitting hole 13C. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and the half holding portions 1A and 1B may be joined together so that they can be pulled out.

Further, in the present embodiment, in each of the halved holding portions 1A and 1B, a male joint surface 1a having a male joint on one side in the circumferential direction around the axial direction O is provided, and a female joint is provided on the other circumferential direction. Although it is set as the structure made into the female side joining surface 1b which has, it is not limited to this. For example, it is also possible to use a clamp that joins a halved holding portion having a male joint surface 1a at both ends in the circumferential direction and a halved holding portion having a female joint surface 1b at both ends in the circumferential direction. is there.

Moreover, in this Embodiment, it is set as the structure by which the protrusion pin 12 as a male joint was provided in the male side joining surface 1a in each of the half holding | maintenance parts 1A and 1B. Configurations such as dimensions, shapes, and protruding dimensions can be arbitrarily set together with the female joint. For example, neither the protruding pin 12 nor the insertion hole 13A has a projection or the like, and the outer diameter of the protruding pin 12 may be made larger than the inner diameter of the insertion hole 13A to make it difficult to come out after fitting.

Further, in order to make it easier to prevent the resin pipe 3 from coming out of the electric fusion joint 2, the engagement protrusion 15 a is inclined toward the electric fusion joint 2 side and is engaged with the surface of the resin pipe 3. Also good.

Further, in the present embodiment, the axial direction of each of the half-holding portions 1A and 1B so as not to interfere with the indicator 24 when it is mounted over the joint body 21 and the resin pipe 3 inserted into one receiving port of the joint body 21. Although it is set to the length of O, a hole may be made in each half holding portion 1A, 1B so that it does not interfere with the indicator 24 of the electrofusion joint 2 by forming a hole in the portion that becomes the indicator 24. It is good also as a shape connected with the through-hole 14a of each half holding | maintenance part 1A, 1B.

In addition, it is possible to appropriately replace the components in the above-described embodiments with known components without departing from the spirit of the present invention.
