Description
The present invention relates to a tape cartridge that is used by being mounted on a cartridge mounting portion of a tape printer and is used for printing by the tape printer.
Conventionally, as this type of tape cartridge, a tape cassette that is mounted in a positioning state on a cassette mounting portion of a printing apparatus is known (see Patent Document 1).
This tape cassette includes an adhesive tape spool wound with a double-sided adhesive tape, a film tape spool wound with a film tape (printing tape), and a ribbon spool wound with an ink ribbon. The tape cassette also includes a ribbon take-up spool for taking up the ink ribbon, a tape drive roller, and a cassette case that accommodates these. In addition, pin holes are provided at two locations on both edges in the longitudinal direction of the cassette case.
On the other hand, the printing apparatus includes a main body cover having a recessed cassette mounting portion and a cover for opening and closing the cassette mounting portion. The cassette mounting portion is provided with a head holder on which a tape drive shaft, a ribbon take-up shaft and a print head are mounted, and further, two positioning pins with which the pin holes are engaged are provided. A cassette pressing mechanism for pressing the tape cassette mounted on the cassette mounting portion is provided inside the cover.
The cassette pressing mechanism includes a pressing plate rotatably attached to the cover, two coil-like elastic bodies interposed between the pressing plate and the cover, and a protruding plate that presses the tape cassette. And two pressing members.
The tape cassette is mounted on the cassette mounting portion so that the pin hole engages with the positioning pin of the cassette mounting portion. When the cover is closed in this state, the three pressing members of the cassette pressing mechanism press the tape cassette by the elastic force of the elastic body. As a result, the tape cassette is positioned at the cassette mounting portion and used for printing by the print head.
By the way, the positioning pin of the cassette mounting portion and the pin hole of the tape cassette are in an engaged state with allowance for dimensional tolerances in consideration of manufacturing errors of the tape cassette (cassette case). For this reason, when the pressing force in the mounting direction with respect to the tape cassette is weakened, the tape cassette is likely to be displaced or lifted.
In the conventional printing apparatus, the tape cassette is pressed (positioned) by a coiled elastic body (coil spring) provided on the cover. The elastic body has a weak pressing force (spring force) over time. There was a problem. That is, there is a problem that the pressing force decreases due to so-called “sagging”. In particular, there are several types of tape cassettes with different thicknesses, and since the elastic body contracts differently depending on the tape cassette used, depending on the thickness of the tape cassette, ”Could cause insufficient pressure. In addition, the three pressing members of the cassette pressing mechanism protrude greatly inside the cover. For this reason, there was a problem that the pressing member hinders the attachment and detachment of the tape cassette.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION An object of the present invention is to provide a tape cartridge capable of appropriately and stably pressing for positioning regardless of the structure of the apparatus and the thickness of the cartridge case.
The tape cartridge of the present invention is a tape cartridge for printing on a printing tape by a print head of the tape printing apparatus while feeding the printing tape in a detachably mounted state on the tape printing apparatus. A cartridge case that forms an outer shell of the tape cartridge and that accommodates the printing tape, and the cartridge case has a first cartridge case on the front side and a first case on the back side when the cartridge case is attached to the tape printer. The first cartridge case includes an elastic portion that is elastically deformed by the pressing force of the pressing portion of the tape printer on the front case wall.
In this case, it is preferable that the elastic portion has an elastic piece formed by linearly removing the periphery of the portion where the presser portion abuts on the case wall.
In this case, the elastic piece is preferably formed by removing the case wall in a “U” shape.
In this case, the elastic portion has an elastic piece that contacts the holding portion and extends inward from the case wall, and a receiving opening that is formed in the case wall and receives the holding portion. It is preferable to have a hanging piece portion extending toward the back side and an abutting piece portion with which the pressing portion of the tape printer abuts.
In this case, it is preferable that the second cartridge case has a detected portion that detects the type of the printing tape immediately below the elastic portion in the mounting direction of the cartridge case to the tape printer.
The following configuration may also be used.
The tape cartridge of the present invention is a tape cartridge in which printing is performed on a printing tape by a print head of the tape printing apparatus while feeding out the printing tape in a state where the tape cartridge is detachably attached to the tape printing apparatus. A cartridge case in which the tape is accommodated, and a reaction force applying portion that is provided on the surface of the cartridge case and that is displaced by the pressing force of the pressing portion of the tape printing apparatus and applies a reaction force that increases in accordance with the displacement amount of the displacement to the pressing portion. And.
In this case, the reaction force is preferably increased in proportion to the amount of displacement.
According to these configurations, the reaction force applying portion provided in the cartridge case is displaced by the pressing force of the pressing portion of the tape printing apparatus and applies a reaction force to the pressing portion according to the displacement amount. That is, the cartridge case is elastically pressed by the pressing portion through the reaction force applying portion. Thus, the cartridge case is positioned at a predetermined position on the tape printer side. The tape cartridge itself is a consumable and is replaced when the print tape is consumed. Therefore, since the reaction force application unit is replaced before the predetermined reaction force is no longer exerted, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of the “sagging” problem as in the prior art. In addition, since the reaction force imparting portion is provided in the cartridge case, it is possible to prevent the tape cartridge itself from being hindered. Therefore, regardless of the structure on the apparatus side and the thickness of the cartridge case, pressing for positioning can be performed appropriately and stably.
The cartridge case preferably has a shell structure.
According to this configuration, it is possible to easily build the reaction force applying portion using the empty space in the cartridge case.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the reaction force application part includes an elastic part that is elastically deformed by a pressing force.
According to this configuration, the reaction force imparting portion can have a simple structure, and the productivity of the tape cartridge can be enhanced and the increase in production cost can be suppressed.
In this case, it is preferable that the elastic portion has an elastic piece having a portion that is in contact with the pressing portion at a portion formed by removing the case wall of the cartridge case in a linear shape.
In this case, the elastic piece is preferably formed by removing the case wall in a “U” shape.
According to this configuration, the elastic portion can be formed in the cartridge case very easily by molding or processing. That is, the elastic part can have a simple structure.
The elastic portion has an elastic piece having an L-shaped cross section extending inward from the case wall of the cartridge case, and a receiving opening formed on the case wall for receiving the presser portion while the presser portion abuts. It is preferable.
According to this configuration, since the elastic piece is formed in the “L” cross section, the elastic deformation stroke can be made larger than that of the flat elastic piece, and the reaction force (the pressing force received) can be increased. It can be stabilized. Further, the receiving opening can function as an abutment guide for the pressing portion.
In this case, it is preferable that the receiving opening has two sides corresponding to both side ends of the elastic piece, and the two sides are positioned by the pressing portion in the intersecting direction.
According to this configuration, the presser part itself can function as a positioning member for the cartridge case. As a result, the tape cartridge is pressed by the tape printer in a positioning state. Therefore, the mounted tape cartridge can be accurately positioned on the tape printer.
Moreover, it is preferable that the elastic piece is formed in the corner part in the surface at the side of the pressing part of a cartridge case.
According to this structure, an elastic piece can be arrange | positioned in the highly rigid part in a cartridge case. Thereby, it can suppress that the pressing force of the pressing part which presses a tape cartridge to a tape printer is absorbed by deformation | transformation of a cartridge case. Therefore, the pressing force received by the tape cartridge can be stabilized.
Furthermore, the tape printing apparatus includes a cartridge mounting portion on which the tape cartridge is mounted, an opening / closing lid that opens and closes the cartridge mounting portion around the hinge portion, the pressing portion is provided on the opening / closing lid, and the elastic piece includes: It is preferable to extend in the direction intersecting with the extending direction of the hinge part, with the hinge part side as the base end.
According to this configuration, the elastic piece can be bent (deformed) in the same direction as the rotation direction of the opening / closing lid. Thereby, in the process of bending an elastic piece, the contact part of a pressing part and an elastic piece does not move (slide), and the pressing force which a tape cartridge receives can be stabilized.
On the other hand, the reaction force applying portion includes a receiving recess formed in the case wall of the cartridge case and receiving the pressing portion, and an elastic member provided in the receiving recess and configured separately from the cartridge case. It is preferable.
According to this configuration, the stroke of elastic deformation can be increased, and the reaction force (the pressing force received) can be stabilized. Further, the receiving concave portion can function as a contact guide for the pressing portion.
In this case, it is preferable that the elastic member is constituted by one of a resin elastic material and a metal elastic material.
According to this configuration, the elastic member can be selected in consideration of the property and cost of the cartridge case.
In this case, it is preferable that the elastic material made of resin is constituted by one of rubber and sponge.
Similarly, it is preferable that the metal elastic material is configured by one of a leaf spring and a coil spring.
According to these configurations, the elastic member can have a simple structure, and an increase in cost can be suppressed.
In addition, the reaction force imparting portion is provided on one surface of the cartridge case that faces the holding portion and intersects the mounting direction, and the other surface of the cartridge case is provided with a cover for detecting attribute information of the printing tape. It is preferable that a detection unit is provided.
According to this structure, a to-be-detected part can be functioned appropriately with respect to a tape printer.
On the other hand, the tape printer has a mounting base surface for positioning the tape cartridge in the mounting direction, and a plurality of types of cartridge cases having different thicknesses are prepared. It is preferable that the reaction force applying portion in each cartridge case is disposed so that the distance between the presser portion and the presser end of the presser portion becomes substantially equal.
According to this configuration, in the cartridge cases (tape cartridges) having different thicknesses, the pressing force applied to the tape cartridge can be made constant by providing the reaction force applying portion whose part is changed. Therefore, the positioning state can be stabilized regardless of the thickness of the tape cartridge.
The cartridge case preferably includes two cases having a two-part structure, and the reaction force applying portion is provided in one of the two cases.
According to this configuration, when there is an existing tape cartridge of the same shape, it is possible to easily manufacture a tape cartridge having a reaction force applying portion by changing the design of only one case.
Furthermore, it is preferable that the reaction force applying portion is disposed inside the outline of the cartridge case when viewed from the mounting direction.
According to this configuration, the presence or absence of the reaction force imparting portion in the cartridge case does not affect whether or not the specific tape printing apparatus can be mounted. Therefore, a tape cartridge having a reaction force applying portion and a tape cartridge having no reaction force applying portion can be used for a specific tape printing apparatus, and the convenience for the user is not impaired.
Hereinafter, a tape cartridge according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described together with a tape printer to which the tape cartridge is mounted with reference to the accompanying drawings. This tape printing apparatus performs printing while feeding out a printing tape and an ink ribbon from a mounted tape cartridge, cuts a printed portion of the printing tape, and creates a label (tape piece).

As described above, the
The

[Elastic part and presser part (first embodiment)]
Next, the structure of the
As shown in FIG. 7A, the
As shown in FIG. 7 (c), the
More specifically, the
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 7B, the holding
As described above, according to the

[Elastic part and presser part (second embodiment)]
Next, with reference to FIG. 8, the structure of the
As shown in FIGS. 8A and 8C, the
As described above, a plurality of types of
The
Thus, also in the
[Modification of Second Embodiment]
FIG. 9 shows a

In addition, an

As described above, in the
[Elastic part and presser part (third embodiment)]
Next, with reference to FIG. 10, the structure of the
The
The holding
In such a tape cartridge 100C of the third embodiment as well, when the opening /
