Description

Embodiments described herein relate generally to a washing machine.

Conventionally, by operating the water flow switching lever provided on the washing timer with the operation knob, the washing timer selects the rotation time (ON time) and stop time (OFF time) of the pulsator by switching the internal contacts Washing machines that set the strength of water flow are known.

In such a washing machine, due to the structure of the washing timer, the rotation time and stop time of the pulsator that can be switched are limited to about two or three types, compared with a washing machine that controls rotation and stop of the pulsator by a microcomputer. The settable water flow intensity is limited. In particular, in the case of a spring type washing timer that is switched and controlled by a cam that rotates a spring contact, the rotation time and stop time of the pulsator cannot be set to a short time (for example, 2 seconds or less). It is difficult to wash delicate clothes without damaging them.

On the other hand, it is conceivable that the washing process time is shortened to prevent delicate clothing from being damaged. However, if the washing process time is too short, the dirt is difficult to remove.

Patent Document 1 below describes a washing machine that pumps washing water in a washing tub and sprinkles the washing water pumped up onto the laundry placed on the partition plate from above, but the rotation of the pulsator There is no description about adjusting the strength of the water flow generated by the partition plate provided in the washing tub.

Hereinafter, an embodiment will be described with reference to the drawings.

In the present embodiment, the washing timer 45 receives a switching operation of the water flow switching lever 46 and the rotation time (ON time) and stop time (OFF time) of the pulsator 7 provided on the inner bottom surface of the vertical washing tub 4. The washing machine 1 is configured to set the strength of the water flow by switching, and in particular, a so-called two-tank washing machine in which the washing tub 4 is provided separately from the dewatering tub 5 as shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 will be described. .

The washing machine 1 is provided with a synthetic resin tank 3 on a rectangular container base 2 made of synthetic resin. The tank 3 is integrally provided with a washing tub 4 and a dewatering tub 5 arranged side by side.

The washing tub 4 is formed of a rectangular cylindrical body with a rounded corner in the horizontal section, and protrudes inward of the washing tub 4 at four corners of the inner peripheral wall, and is provided with a locking portion 13 that holds the partition plate 70 in the washing tub 4. It has been. Further, a front surface of an overflow port (not shown) provided at one place on the inner peripheral wall of the washing tub 4 is provided to discharge water exceeding a predetermined water level to the outside when the water level is abnormally high due to forgetting to stop water supply. An overflow strainer 6 is installed to cover the passage of water. The overflow strainer 6 is provided with an overflow position adjusting lever 19 adjacent to the overflow strainer 6 for adjusting the height of the overflow opening up and down. A pulsator 7 having a plurality of stirring protrusions 8 on the upper surface is rotatably disposed on the inner bottom of the washing tub 4.

Inside the dewatering tank 5, a dewatering basket 10 having a large number of dewatering holes 9 on the peripheral side portion is rotatably disposed. Below the dewatering tank 5, a dewatering motor 11 that rotationally drives the dewatering basket 10 and a brake device 12 that stops the rotation of the dewatering motor 11 are disposed.

A drainage pipe 15 is connected to a drain pipe 14 at the outer bottom of the washing tub 4 and a tip thereof. In the drain valve 15, the valve rubber (not shown) is kept closed by the biasing force of the compression spring. From this state, the valve rubber is pulled up against the biasing force of the compression spring by the valve operating wire 22, and the drainage channel 15. Will be released.

A drain hose (not shown) for draining outside the apparatus is connected to the outlet side of the drain valve 15. A drain outlet 23 (see FIG. 1) is also provided at the bottom of the dewatering tank 5, and this drain outlet 23 is also connected to the drain hose.

A bearing housing 25 is provided on the outer lower surface of the washing tub 4. The shaft end portion 26a protruding upward from the bearing housing 25 penetrates the bottom of the washing tub 4 in a watertight and rotatable manner, protrudes upward from the inner bottom of the washing tub 4, and the pulsator 7 is attached to and detached from the protruding portion by a screw. It is attached as possible. A driven pulley 28 is attached to the other shaft end portion 26 b protruding downward from the bearing housing 25. As shown in FIG. 1, a washing motor 29 to which a driving pulley 30 is attached is disposed below the washing tub 4 at a position spaced from the driven pulley 28, and the driving pulley 30, the driven pulley 28, and the like. A transmission belt 31 is stretched between them.

As a result, the pulsator 7 is driven to rotate at low speed alternately by the washing motor 29 in the clockwise and counterclockwise forward and reverse directions through the drive pulley 30, the transmission belt 31, and the driven pulley 28 in this order. The washing water stored in the washing tub 4 is agitated and washed by the rotation of the pulsator 7. The dewatering basket 10 is directly connected to the rotating shaft of the dehydrating motor 11 and is driven to rotate at high speed in one direction, and the laundry stored in the dehydrating basket 10 is centrifugally dehydrated. Accordingly, the washing motor 26, the driving pulley 30, the transmission belt 31, and the driven pulley 28 constitute a driving device that rotationally drives the pulsator 7, and the dehydrating motor 11 is a driving device that rotationally drives the dewatering basket 10. It functions.

An upper cover 34 is attached to the upper part of the tank body 3. The upper cover 34 is provided with a washing lid 35 that opens and closes the upper surface opening of the washing tub 4, and a dehydration lid 36 that opens and closes the upper surface opening of the dewatering tub 5. The dehydrating lid 36 is rotatable in the vertical direction with the rear portion as a fulcrum. An operation unit 37 is provided at the rear part of the upper cover 34.

On the upper surface 38a of the base member 38 in the operation portion 37, as shown in FIG. 3, from the left, the operation knob 40 for the washing timer, the operation knob 41 for switching the water flow and opening / closing the drain valve, and the dewatering timer An operation knob 42, a hose connection port 43, and an operation knob 44 for switching the water injection destination are provided.

The operation knob 40 for the washing timer is for operating a washing timer 45 (see FIG. 4) for setting a washing operation time provided on the back surface 38b side of the base member 38. On the back surface of the washing timer 45, a water flow switching lever 46 is provided so as to be rotatable about a shaft portion 46a. The water flow switching lever 46 is used to switch between the ON time period and the OFF time period of the pulsator 7 forming the water flow, and the strong water flow and the standard water flow can be switched by turning the water flow switching lever 46. For example, when the strong water flow is set, the ON time is set to 7 seconds and the OFF time is set to 5 seconds. When the standard water flow is set, the ON time is set to 5 seconds and the OFF time is set to 7 seconds.

A rotation member 50 is fixed to the operation knob 41 for switching the water flow and opening / closing the drain valve, and the rotation member 50 is also rotated in the same direction in conjunction with the rotation operation of the operation knob 41. The rotation member 50 includes a cam groove 52 penetrating in the thickness direction, a portion where the cam groove 52 is provided, and a drain valve operation portion 56 provided on the opposite side across the rotation center O. The cam groove 52 has a drain valve opening / closing groove 53 and a water flow switching groove 54 continuous with the groove 53. The drain valve operation unit 56 is connected to the end of the valve operation wire 22 that is connected to the drain valve 15 via a hook 57.

An interlocking member 63 is provided between the cam groove 52 and the water flow switching lever 46 in the rotating member 50. The interlocking member 63 has a lever shape extending in the left-right direction in FIG. 4 and is pivotally connected to the water flow switching lever 46 by a connecting portion 64 provided at one end thereof. Further, the other end portion of the interlocking member 63 is provided with a shaft-like insertion portion 65 that is inserted into the cam groove 52. The insertion portion 65 is inserted into the cam groove 52 of the rotating member 50 and is inserted into the fixed-side guide groove 58 provided on the back surface 38 b side of the base member 38. As a result, the cam groove 52 and the fixed guide groove 58 are moved.

In such a state where “strong water flow” is set in the operation unit 37, the water flow switching lever 46 is rotated in the direction of the arrow B1 in FIG. In this state, the drain valve operating portion 56 provided on the rotating member 50 is located on the right side of the rotation center O of the rotating member 50 in FIG. 5, and the drain valve 15 is urged by the urging force of the compression spring 18. The drain valve 15 is held in a closed position and is in a closed state.

When the operation knob 41 is rotated from the “strong water flow” position in FIG. 3 to the “standard water flow” position in the arrow A1 direction in FIG. 3, the rotation member 50 is also rotated in the arrow A1 direction. The In addition, in FIG. 4, since it sees from the back side, the direction of an arrow becomes reverse direction. Then, the water flow switching groove portion 54 in the cam groove 52 moves the insertion portion 65 of the interlocking member 63 along the fixed side guide groove 58. At this time, the water flow switching groove 54 changes so that the radius from the rotation center O becomes smaller, so that the insertion portion 65 of the interlocking member 63 moves along the fixed-side guide groove 58 of the rotation member 50. Moving in the direction approaching the rotation center O, the water flow switching lever 46 is rotated in the direction of arrow B2. In this case, the drain valve operating portion 56 is also rotated in the direction of the arrow A1 along with the rotation of the rotating member 50. However, since the valve operating wire 22 is loosened, the drain valve 15 remains closed. .

Further, when the operation knob 41 is rotated from the “standard water flow” position to the “strong water flow” position, each member rotates or moves in the direction opposite to the above, so the water flow switching lever 46 is moved to the arrow. By turning in the B1 direction, the state is returned to the "strong water flow" position shown in FIG.

On the other hand, when the operation knob 41 is rotated from the state of “strong water flow” in FIG. 3 to the direction of arrow A2 in FIG. 3 which is the direction of “drainage”, the rotation member 50 is also in the direction of arrow A2 in FIG. Is rotated. Then, the drain valve opening / closing groove 53 in the cam groove 52 rotates in the direction of the arrow A <b> 2, leaving the insertion portion 65 of the interlocking member 63. At this time, since the drain valve opening / closing groove 53 has a substantially constant radius from the rotation center O, no force is generated to move the insertion portion 65 along the fixed-side guide groove 58, and the interlocking member 63. 4 remains in the position shown in FIG. 4, the water flow switching lever 46 is not rotated, only the rotating member 50 is rotated in the direction of the arrow A2, and the drain valve 15 is connected via the valve operating wire 22. The above-described valve rubber is pulled up against the urging force of the compression spring to open the drainage channel.

In the washing machine 1 having such a configuration, by turning the operation knob 41, the ON time limit and the OFF time limit of the pulsator 7 are changed to generate two types of water flows, “strong water flow” and “standard water flow”. The partition plate 70 is engaged with the engaging portion 13 provided on the inner peripheral wall of the washing tub 4 to partition the inside of the washing tub 4 up and down above the pulsator 7, and “strong water flow” above the partition plate 70. The washing operation is performed by generating a water flow having a strength different from that of the “standard water flow”.

The locking portion 13 is composed of a pair of upper and lower protrusions provided at the four corners of the inner wall of the washing tub 4, and the partition plate 70 is inserted into the washing tub 4 by sandwiching the peripheral edge of the partition plate 70 between the pair of upper and lower protrusions. Hold in. The pairs of locking portions 13 are provided in a plurality of stages (for example, four stages) at intervals in the height direction of the washing tub 4. In the present embodiment, the plurality of stages of locking portions 13 set the standard amount of laundry in three stages of small, medium, and many in advance, and the height position of the standard water amount set corresponding thereto is set to the low water level and the medium water level. The water level and the high water level are set as three types of specified water levels, and are provided at positions corresponding to these.

Specifically, the lowermost locking portion 13a provided at a position closest to the bottom surface of the washing tub 4 is a position that is lower than the low water level by a predetermined value and is held by the locking portion 13a. Is provided at a position where it does not contact the pulsator 7. The second-stage locking portion 13b provided immediately above the locking portion 13a is provided at a position lower than the intermediate water level by a predetermined value, and the third-stage locking portion 13c provided immediately above the locking portion 13b. Is provided at a position lower than the high water level by a predetermined value. The uppermost locking portion 13d provided immediately above the locking portion 13c is further above the overflow port set at the highest position by the overflow port position adjusting lever 19 of the washing tub 4 positioned above the high water level. Is provided.

Further, in addition to the above-described four-stage locking portions 13, the inner peripheral wall of the washing tub 4 has a mark 17a indicating the positions of preset low water levels, medium water levels, and high water levels, and locking A display 17b is provided that indicates the strength of the water flow generated above the partition plate 70 when the partition plate 70 is held by the portions 13a to 13c in association with the positions of the locking portions 13a to 13c. This display 17b is provided for each case where “strong water flow” and “standard water flow” are set in the operation knob 41 of the operation unit 37 (see FIGS. 1 and 7).

In the washing tub 4 described above, the locking portion 13 has an undercut shape projecting inward of the washing tub 4, but a part of the upper and lower molds that open and close (die-cut) in the axial direction of the washing tub 4 is arranged in the washing tub 4. The washing tub 4 provided with the locking portion 13 can be formed by using the slide core that slides inward.

The partition plate 70 is made of a synthetic resin molded body such as polypropylene (PP), and two plate-like members 71 are rotatably connected by a connecting shaft 72 as shown in FIGS. The partition plate 70 has a rectangular shape with rounded four corners matched to the horizontal cross-sectional shape of the washing tub 4 with the two plate-like members 71 open, and the two plate-like members 71 overlap in a closed state. Fold in half.

The two plate-like members 71 constituting the partition plate 70 are provided with a plurality of water passage holes 73 that allow washing water to pass therethrough in a lattice shape. One surface of the plate-like member 71 is provided on a substantially flat surface 71a, and the other surface is provided on an uneven surface 71b provided with a number of protrusions 74.

Such a partition plate 70 is provided so that it can be attached to the locking portion 13 by reversing the front and back, and one of the flat surface 71a and the uneven surface 71b is directed upward to connect the two plate-like members 71 together. In a state of being bent by the shaft 72, the peripheral portion of the plate-like member 71 is sandwiched between the engaging portions 13 on either the left or right side of the engaging portions 13 provided at the four corners of the washing tub 4, and from this state, two plate-like shapes are provided. By opening the member 71, the peripheral edge portion of the plate-like member 71 is sandwiched between the other locking portions 13 in the left-right direction. As a result, the partition plate 70 engages with all the locking portions 13 provided at the four corners of the washing tub 4 and is held in the washing tub 4.

The operation of the above configuration will be described.

The partition plate 70 is held by the lowermost locking portion 13 a provided in the washing tub 4, the laundry is placed on the partition plate 70, and the washing water is poured to a high water level, and then the operation unit 37. In a state where “strong water flow” is set by the operation knob 41, the washing operation is executed by rotating the pulsator 7 alternately at low speeds in both forward and reverse directions.

When a water flow is generated in the washing tub 4 by the rotation of the pulsator 7, a water flow is also generated above the partition plate 70 through a water passage hole 73 provided in the partition plate 70, but at a position away from the pulsator 7. Therefore, a slightly weaker water flow (“slightly strong”) than the water flow in the vicinity of the pulsator 7 is generated above the partition plate 70. Therefore, the laundry placed on the partition plate 70 is washed by a slightly weaker “slightly stronger” water flow as compared with the case where the partition plate 70 is not disposed in the washing tub 4 (see FIG. 8A). .

Since the strength of the water flow generated above the partition plate 70 mainly depends on the distance from the pulsator 7 to the partition plate 70, if the partition plate 70 is held by the lowermost locking portion 13 a, the washing tub 4 Regardless of the water level of the washing water poured into the water, the strength of the water flow generated on the upper surface of the partition plate 70 is “slightly strong”, and the laundry can be washed by this water flow.

When the mounting position of the partition plate 70 is changed from the lowest locking portion 13a to the second locking portion 13b immediately above it, the distance from the pulsator 7 to the partition plate 70 becomes larger than before. After washing water is poured to the middle water level, when the washing operation is executed in a state where the “strong water flow” is set by the operation knob 41, the water flow is weaker than when the partition plate 70 is held by the lowermost locking portion 13a. ("Standard") allows the laundry to be washed.

If the position of the partition plate 70 is changed from the second-stage latching portion 13b to the third-stage latching portion 13c immediately above it, the distance from the pulsator 7 to the partition plate 70 is further increased. When the washing operation is executed in a state where “strong water flow” is set by the operation knob 41, a weaker water flow (“slightly” than in the case where the partition plate 70 is held by the second stage locking portion 13b. The laundry can be washed by “weak”).

In other words, with the “strong water flow” set by the operation knob 41, the partition plate 70 is held in either the lowermost locking portion 13a, the second locking portion 13b, or the third locking portion 13c. As a result, a “slightly strong”, “standard”, and “slightly weak” water flow is generated above the partition plate 70, and the laundry has three types of water flows that are weaker than the “strong water flow” generated by the pulsator 7. Can be washed.

Further, when the setting of the water flow by the operation knob 41 of the operation unit 37 is changed from “strong water flow” to “standard water flow”, the partition plate 70 is held by the lowermost locking portion 13a, and the water level of the washing tub 4 is changed. When the water level is set to one of the low water level, the middle water level, and the high water level, a weak water flow (“slightly weak”) is generated compared to the “standard water flow” that is generated when the partition plate 70 is not disposed in the washing tub 4. This allows the laundry to be washed. Further, when the partition plate 70 is held by the second-stage locking portion 13b and the water level of the washing tub 4 is set to the middle water level or the high water level, the partition plate 70 is held by the lowermost locking portion 13a. The laundry can be washed by a weak water flow ("weak"), and the partition plate 70 is held by the third-stage locking portion 13c, and the water level of the washing tub 4 is set to a high water level. The laundry can be washed by a weaker water flow ("weakest") than when the partition plate 70 is held by the locking portion 13b (see FIG. 8B).

In other words, with the “standard water flow” set by the operation knob 41, the partition plate 70 is held in either the lowest locking portion 13a, the second locking portion 13b, or the third locking portion 13c. As a result, a “weak”, “weak”, and “weakest” water flow is generated above the partition plate 70, and the laundry has three types of water flows that are weaker than the “standard water flow” generated by the pulsator 7. Can be washed.

In addition, when there is no washing water only below the partition plate 70 and there is no wash water above the partition plate 70, for example, the partition plate 70 is held by the second-stage locking portion 13b and the washing tub 4 When the water level is set to a low water level, when the partition plate 70 is held by the third level locking portion 13c and the water level of the washing tub 4 is set to the low water level or the middle water level, or the uppermost level locking portion 13d. When the partition plate 70 is held and the water level of the washing tub 4 is set to a low water level, a medium water level, or a high water level, the laundry is stored between the pulsator 7 and the partition plate 70 so that washing is performed during the washing operation. A splash phenomenon in which water droplets scatter from the upper surface opening of the tank 4 can be prevented.

In the washing machine 1 of the present embodiment as described above, the interior of the washing tub 4 is partitioned vertically by the partition plate 70 having the water passage holes 73 through which the washing water passes, so that the washing tub 4 is stored in the washing tub 4 from the pulsator 7. The distance to the laundry can be adjusted, and the laundry can be washed with a weaker water flow than the water flow generated by the pulsator 7. As a result, even if the washing timer 45 is a washing machine in which the pulsator 7 is switched between the ON time period and the OFF time period by operating the water flow switching lever 46 via the operation knob 41, it is possible to increase the options of the water flow strength that can be set. The laundry can be washed with a water flow according to the user's demands, from dirty laundry to delicate laundry.

In the washing machine 1 of the present embodiment, a plurality of locking portions 13 that hold the partition plate 70 in the washing tub 4 are provided at intervals in the height direction of the washing tub 4. 13 is provided at a position corresponding to a preset specified water level, the distance from the pulsator 7 to the laundry can be adjusted in multiple stages, and the settable water flow strength options can be increased. it can. In addition, since the plurality of locking portions 13 have a washing plate-like unevenness on the inner peripheral wall of the washing tub 4, a rubbing effect can be obtained on the laundry.

The washing tub 4 is provided with a display 17b indicating the relationship between the mounting position of the locking portion 13 and the strength of the water flow generated above the partition plate 70 when the partition plate 70 is held by the locking portion 13. Therefore, the user can easily set the desired water flow strength without looking at the instruction manual.

In addition, although this embodiment demonstrated the case where the display 17b which shows the relationship between the attachment position of the latching | locking part 13 and the intensity | strength of the generated water flow was provided in the above washing tub 4, it is not limited to this, For example, the tank body 3 of the washing machine 1, the washing lid 35, the dehydrating lid 36, the upper surface 38 a of the base member 38 in the operation unit 37, the partition plate 70, and the like can be provided. 4, it is preferable to provide a display 17 b indicating the strength of the water flow generated when the partition plate 70 is held by the locking portion 13 in the vicinity of the locking portion 13. .

Moreover, in this embodiment, since the latching | locking part 13d holding the partition plate 70 is provided above the high water level which is the highest specified water level, by holding the partition plate 70 in this latching | locking part 13d, A splash phenomenon in which water droplets scatter from the upper surface opening of the washing tub 4 during the washing operation can be prevented.

In the present embodiment, since one surface of the partition plate 70 is provided on the flat surface 71a and the other surface is provided on the uneven surface 71b provided with a large number of protrusions 74, delicate clothes are washed. In the case of attaching to the washing tub 4 with the flat surface 71a facing upward, and when removing dirt firmly, attaching to the washing tub 4 with the uneven surface 71b facing upward, etc. Can be washed together.

In the present embodiment, the locking portions 13a to 13c are provided at predetermined positions lower than the preset low water level, middle water level, and high water level, and the locking portions corresponding to each specified water level are 1 Although the case where it provided one by one was demonstrated, you may provide two or more latching | locking parts corresponding to each regulation water level.
