Claims (4)
- IPネットワークに接続されるネットワークインタフェースと、
前記IPネットワークに接続された複数のコンテンツ配信装置との間で一定の帯域幅をシェアする複数のセッションを確立するセッション管理部と、
前記複数のセッションを通じて、前記複数のコンテンツ配信装置からリアルタイムに配信される複数のコンテンツのパケットデータを受信するデータ受信部と、
前記データ受信部が前記複数のコンテンツのパケットデータを受信しているときの前記複数のセッションの品質をそれぞれ測定するセッション品質測定部と、
前記セッション品質測定部の測定結果に基づいて、前記複数のコンテンツ配信装置に対して、前記複数のセッションの各々の品質を通知するセッション品質通知部とを備え、
前記複数のコンテンツ配信装置の各々が、前記セッション品質通知部から通知されたセッションの品質に応じて転送レートを変更するものであり、
前記セッション品質通知部が、転送レートを下げるべきコンテンツ配信装置に対して、前記セッション品質測定部の測定結果よりも悪い値のセッションの品質を通知し、
前記セッション品質通知部が、転送レートを上げるべきコンテンツ配信装置に対して、前記セッション品質測定部の測定結果よりもよい値のセッションの品質を通知する
ことを特徴とするコンテンツ受信装置。 - 前記セッション品質測定部が、検出した前記セッションの品質に基づいて前記複数のコンテンツ配信装置の転送レートを推定するものであり、
前記セッション品質通知部が、前記セッション品質測定部によって推定される転送レートが目標値に下がるまで、前記転送レートを下げるべきコンテンツ配信装置に対して、前記セッション品質測定部の測定結果よりも悪い値のセッションの品質を通知し続けるものである、請求項1に記載のコンテンツ受信装置。 - 前記セッション品質通知部が、前記転送レートを下げるべきコンテンツ配信装置が前記コンテンツを配信し得る最低転送レートを算出し、該最低転送レートを前記目標値として設定する、請求項2に記載のコンテンツ受信装置。
- IPネットワークに接続された複数のコンテンツ配信装置と、
前記IPネットワークに接続され、前記複数のコンテンツ配信装置からリアルタイムに配信される複数のコンテンツを受信するコンテンツ受信装置とを備え、
前記コンテンツ受信装置が、請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれかに記載のコンテンツ受信装置であり、
前記複数のコンテンツ配信装置の各々が、前記コンテンツ受信装置から通知されたセッションの品質に応じて転送レートを変更するものである
ことを特徴とするコンテンツ配信システム。
